The pool are was beautiful, the rest of the property is outdated. Warn out mattress, you can see the springs through blanket, not comfortable. Would be a great place if updated room, lived the easy access to beach,about 200 feet away.

Bugs all over room, sheets feel like cardboard (horribly uncomfortable beddy), weddings that go until 3-4am every night (don’t plan on sleeping!), wifi does not work, and just overall outdated and uncleanly property.

The best service ever from a place we didn't stay!

The booking had not been confirmed to the hotel by Hotels.com and they were full so could not accommodate us. The staff were incredibly helpful and apologetic even though it was clearly not their fault. The manager found us a table by the pool with a cold drink while they put themselves out to find us another hotel. They found us two options and even offered to drive us to the other hotel and pick us up later for dinner at a restaurant we had already booked. We chose one of the hotels and as we left they gave us a gift to take with us. When we checked out from the other hotel they would not take payment as the bill had already been paid by Hotel Kennedy. Thank you to all at the Kennedy who went above and beyond to help us out!

A bit dissapointing

We did not manage to stay at this hotel for the two nights booked as we had to return home due to my ill health. Before we left for home my husband and myself went to the hotel to change the name to my daughters. Which was not a problem, the receptionist seemed to be helpful and changed the booking.
When my daughter checked in with her husband and daughter, aged 6yrs. They told her there would not be an extra charge for my granddaughter. The hotel asked us to contact Hotel.com to let them know of the change, which I did. However they had to pay for her continental breakfast.
My granddaughter slept with her parents as there was no extra bed.
When she checked out two days later, I was disappointed to find out that they had charged her an extra 72euros, Even though they had assured he that there would be no extra charge.
We have used this hotel for the last 3years but will probably rethink when returning to Italy next year.
The rating for rooms is from my daughter as my husband and myself did not stay here this year.

Nice Hotel close to beach.

The beach was nice but underpass could be doing with being refurbished. Beach staff, he was friendly and helpful.
The pools and surrounding were nice.
We ate in the ajoining restaurant several times.
24hour reception was certainly needed and appreciated by us, as our flight was delayed and arrived at 2.40am.

Value for money....clean and comfy

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting family in the area. It was pre-season so the property was just getting it's seasonal prep although it was very nicely presented for the off season. First impression of the lobby and restaurant area were good as I felt the price per night was extremely reasonable when I was searching for a place to stay.The garden beds were colourful and pool area was nicely presented. The rooms were kept clean and serviced daily. The breakfast buffet offered a large range of choices which was looked after by a very professional, polite and helpful young Italian man. The front desk people were always very professional and presented themselves well. The owner/manager always had a pleasant greeting and often asked if we were comfortable.
I would definitely return to Club Kennedy Hotel and will recommend it to other family members planning on travelling to visit the area.

Great hotel if it weren't for the parties!

My biggest complaint is that almost every evening there was a private function going on, thus closing the pool area to all paying guests and playing very loud music until about 1:30am! Unfortunately the rooms are not soundproof so we had to listen to \"YMCA\" all night long! Most nights we did not fall asleep until 2am!

Other than that, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is the BEST! The pool is beautiful! Unfortunately, by the time we would return to the hotel from being on the beach all day, we were unable to use this beautiful pool because they would be setting up for a private function!

A few items about this hotel: Firstly, the AC was horrible and didnt work. The room remained humid all evening. Secondly, the check-in staff was not friendly, and it's weird they would take possession of my passport when I checked in and returned it on my way out for dinner after asking. If they needed to make a copy, they should do it in front of you. I am worried abotu this. Thirdly, the music outside the room was way too loud. The music continued till very late in the evening. The hotel seems to cater to locals, not tourists. The breakfast was a bunch of pre-packed cookies and muffins.

Wonderful friendly fun hotel. All the family are involved and entertainment all day in August. The associated restaurants are excellent quality and very reasonable. Good english spoken and nothing seemed too much trouble. Not great luxury but good 3 star accomadation.

Nur auf den ersten Blick top

Der Start war geprägt von Zimmersuche ohne Fehler. Im ersten ließ sich die Balkontür nicht öffnen, im zweiten war die Klimaanlage defekt. Das dritte war dann ok, bis auf die Bettkopfteile, die sind in den gesehenen Zimmern im miserablen Zustand. Ansonsten Zimmer groß, Bad auch ok. Großer Pool ohne Stehtiefe, Damentoilette nicht abschließbar, Toilettendeckel liegt daneben !! Frühstück: Rührei nicht frisch (Geruch?)
Etwas mehr Achtsamkeit fürs Detail wäre angebracht.
Schon für deutlich weniger Geld qualitativ wesentlich besser übernachtet.

Mejor sin fiestas en el hotel

En el hotel había una fiesta con musica hasta la 01:00 de la madrugada, hasta la 01:30 una persona hablando con un micrófono. Nos deberían haber avisado para reservar en otro hotel… a esto añadir que el desayuno era de 6:30 a 9:30, con el check out a las 10:30… dormir lo que es dormir mucho no pudimos

Essenziale ma mare d'incanto

Soggiorno di vacanza - punto di forza: buono hotel, fronte mare.
Mare: cristallino, bandiera blu, spiaggia attrezzata e tranquilla poco lontana dal centro di Roccella: già questo vale il soggiorno.
Hotel: niente da eccepire ma niente che incanti, possono fare di più ma si limitano all'essenziale, senza che ciò inifici sostanzialmente il soggiorno che nell'insieme è confortevole.
In ogni caso, nell'eventualità, ritornerò.

Hotel carino, molto curato l'esterno con la piscina per adulti e una per bambini...anche se visto il periodo non ne abbiamo usufruito. Gentilezza del personale, colazione scarna da migliorare per un 4 stelle. Il ristorante ottimo, abbiamo soggiornato una notte e stanchi ci siamo fermati al ristorante e ci siamo trovati benissimo ottima la pizza, come i primi e i secondi e il dolce! La camera standard che ci è stata assegnata non mi ha entusiasmato, piccola...bagno ok, il materasso lo cambierei ormai non esistono materassi del genere in un buon 4 stelle, il confort è la prima cosa in una stanza insieme alla pulizia e all' arredamento che considero scarno. Piacevole la presenza dell'accappatoio in camera e pantofole ma che ho dovuto richiedere io perchè non erano presenti nella stanza. Dimenticanza? Per la nostra esperienza fatta lo considero un hotel 3 stelle

Schönes Hotel in interessanter Umgebung

Gepflegtes Hotel etwas außerhalb von Roccella Ionica, PKW sinnvoll. Strandkomfort gut (Schirm, Liegen), Tunnel etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Häufig Feiern (Geburtstage, Hochzeit etc.), aber durchaus erträglich bzw. für Nicht-Italiener interessant. Angeschlossenes Restaurant klasse,Top Qualität und Service, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Ort selbst ist auf den ersten Eindruck nicht anziehend, aber wir sind vom Hotel aus zur Burg gewandert (Feldweg nach 200 m links). Tolle Altstadt und Burg mit herrlichem Rundblick, nagelneuer Weg um die Burg herum zum schönen Lungomare bzw. Strand. Am Ortsausgang klasse Bar, direkt an der Straße. Insgesamt sehr interessante Gegend mit vielen Highlights (Gerace, Reggio C., etc.).

Hotel in Strandlage erreichbar durch Unterführung.

Wir waren anlässlich einer Hochzeit dort. Essen hervorragend. Allerdings handelt es sich bei dem Hotel wohl um ein reines Hochzeitshotel. Jeden Tag eine Hochzeit, die im Freien und in Innenbereichen statt finden. Party bis in die frühen Morgenstunden, unheimlich laut und für reine Irlauber nicht zu empfehlen.

Ho soggiornato una notte per un matrimonio che si teneva nello stesso hotel. Il servizio è cortese e professionale, le camere sono ampie e luminose e l'arredamento è abbastanza recente, fornite di tv, frigo, a/c, grande armadio. La piscina è curata e grande. C'è anche una piscina più piccola per i bambini. La zona è un po' decentrata rispetto al paese, ma la spiaggia è davanti all'hotel, c'è un sottopasso. Colazione abbastanza buona.

Hotel buono. Molto pulito e il personale è gentile. L'unica pecca è la
Spiaggia privata. Si raggiunge con un sottopassaggio (se sei alto più di 180 cm. devi chinarti per passarci) ma l'ho trovata scomoda. La colazione è fantastica con pasticceria secca fatta in casa. Accettano anche i cani senza costo aggiuntivo. Tutto sommato si può fare. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Vista sul mare , comfort , gastronomia.

Camera spaziosa e pulita. Il personale attento. La colazione abbondante e deliziosa. Parcheggio. Wi-Fi. Buoni ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Deve essere ancora meglio in estate, quando si assume la vicinanza del mare e la piscina dell'hotel. Mi raccomando senza restrizioni.

Das Hotel an sich ist OK, wenn nicht jeden Abend Lautstarke Hochzeitsfeste stattgefunden hätten. Außerdem wird das Hotel gerade umgebaut, was tagsüber für Lärmbelästigungen sorgt.

Albergo di ottimo livello, dalla silenziosità rara

Di passaggio per la costa jonica, ho avuto occasione di soggiornare all'Hotel Club Kennedy.
Accolto da personale cortese, ho apprezzato l'ampia camera, corredata da un altrettanto ampio bagno, con vista sulla piscina, silenziosità assoluta.
Al mattino, personale altrettanto cortese mi ha servito la colazione.

gepflegt Essen und Trinken im Süden Italiens

Das sehr gepflegte Hotel liegt an einer Bundesstraße zwischen 2 Orten. Es ist der typische italienische Süden, ohne Schoppingmeile wie in den Touristenzentren weiter im Norden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ausreichend, aber eben nicht konzentriert. Der Strand ist über einen Tunnel bequem zu erreichen. Die Küche im Restaurant ist hervorragend, auch die gepflegten Weine. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt, Pool und Rasen in sehr gutem Zustand. Etwas negativ ist, dass das Hotel bekannt dafür ist große Veranstaltungen (Hochzeiten, Geburtstage etc.) regelmäßig durchzuführen. Da wird dann ab 1600 der Garten rund um den Pool entsprechend vorbereitet und Abends ist dann Feier mit Musik. Das Personal ist teilweise sehr freundlich, aber das trifft nicht auf alle zu.
