Our stay at The Kayon Jungle Resort was nothing short of transcendent. Words struggle to do justice to an experience that must truly be lived.

The hospitality here is extraordinary, orchestrated with impeccable grace by Front Office Resort Manager Mr. Gusti, whose leadership clearly sets the tone for a team that communicates with remarkable attentiveness about every guest’s preferences and experiences.

Our primary butler Ms. Windy anticipated needs before we voiced them, while Ms. Augustini, our experiences butler, curated every moment with exquisite care and warmth. Their attention to detail is a masterclass in hospitality that many in the industry would do well to study.

The highlights were unforgettable; a romantic couples spa, a breathtaking candlelit dinner at the chapel, and a magical birthday evening by the infinity pool where an acoustic group serenaded us with classic love songs.

Our travel assistant Nova, on a day tour thoughtfully arranged by Manager Luis, introduced us to temples, a coffee plantation, and a traditional Balinese home, a cultural immersion that enriched the entire stay.

If there were ever a place where a husband could earn lifelong brownie points, this is it. My wife declared this her most memorable birthday ever.

Quite simply, the best gift a man can give his woman is the Kayon Jungle Resort experience.

The Kayon Jungle Resort is nothing short of exceptional. We were blown away from the moment we arrived.
The resort itself is stunning (even better than the photos) with one of the most impressive pool setups we’ve ever seen — seamlessly blending into the jungle. The atmosphere throughout was quiet, tranquil, and incredibly relaxing. Our room was huge and absolutely gorgeous.
All staff were outstandingly friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. A special mention to Putu Ari, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and Deni (our lovely driver) To celebrate the team surprised us with a beautiful flower bath and cake which was such a romantic and thoughtful touch. I received a birthday blessing whilst having a floating breakfast...AMAZING!! All meals and drinks were so delicious, and the evening entertainment was fantastic. The acoustic guitarist was incredible— he somehow knew every song we requested — and the traditional dancers were captivating and authentic.
We also loved the yoga sessions in the breathtaking pavilion overlooking the jungle — a truly serene experience. The Spa was incredible and one of the best we’ve experienced, leaving us completely relaxed and refreshed. We loved egg painting with Ranazurana too.
Kayon Jungle Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We are absolutely going back — and next time, for much longer. Renee & Steve

We had an incredible stay at The Kayon Jungle Resort. The property is tucked into the jungle with gorgeous views and a peaceful vibe, with only 38 rooms and suites. We stayed in a private jungle-view pool suite, and it was everything we hoped for: relaxing, comfortable, and surrounded by nature.

The staff truly made our stay special. Lia was especially kind and attentive when my daughter wasn’t feeling well, and Sapti, Yoga, and Kristna were equally warm and professional. Every team member we met showed genuine care and pride in their work (I asked. It turns out it comes from the top, and it shows). Shout out to our driver, Sandi, as well, for waiting patiently while we explored the Monkey Forest on our way to the next hotel.

The pools are stunning, the design is beautiful, and the whole place feels like a luxurious retreat. The food was excellent across the board, great flavors, generous portions, and beautifully presented. Room service was especially impressive, and we relied on it quite a bit when my daughter wasn’t feeling well.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for something quiet, personal, and authentic near Ubud.

One thing to note: the resort is open to non-guests from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for pool, food, and drinks, but guests get access from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., which was a nice bonus.

This is an absolutely amazing property right in the middle of the wilderness near Ubud. It is a 2-2.5 hour car ride from Denpasar airport, but the spectacular natural surroundings and the peace and serenity are well worth the transit time.

The hotel kindly offered us a free upgrade to their Royal Villa, which is huge and luxurious, with a large patio and outdoor seating. We made almost constant use of the private heated pool and jacuzzi :)

The staff were wonderful - special shoutout to our butlers Leah and Risky for making our stay so comfortable. The food was excellent, and there was an extensive menu. Room service was significantly faster than in most other hotels. I enjoyed the spa too, which was very tranquil.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Can't wait to go back next year!

뷰는 정말 좋아요. 근데 우기에 비싼 가격으로 가기엔 날씨가 변화무쌍하고 맑은 하늘을 보는게 특정 시간밖에 없어서 다음에는 날 좋을때 좀 저렴한 가격에 가라고 추천하고 싶음. 직원들은 친절하고 특히 로비에 택시 태워주는 직원이 너무 친절해서 고마웠음. 다른 직원들은 뭔가 바빠보여서 덜 친절했음. 이 가격에 4시 체크인은 너무 심했어요. 체크인 시간 당겨야해요. 어메니티 품질은 별로인거 같고 전체적으로 좀 고급지다는 생각은 안들었음.

The most amazing place i have ever visited. The staff is soooo friendly. The food delicious. Wvery night tgey have live music. The pool is unmatched. The view is incredible. You feel transported to another world and never want to leave. Be sure to attend a yoga class and if you are lucky enough to get a private villa (there are only 18 of them)have them decorate it with real flowers for your special occasion. There is nothing you won't love about this resort.

The BEST hotel we have ever stayed at! The Kayon Jungle Resort made our honeymoon so special and I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone who is considering staying there. The rooms are well designed, spacious and have everything that you need but the pool area is of course the most impressive part of the hotel. The food at breakfast and at dinner was excellent and the service from all of the staff was outstanding! They made such an effort to remember our names throughout our stay and greeted us every time we left or arrived at the hotel by taxi. It's these little things that we as customers notice and this is what separates The Kayon Jungle Resort from other hotels! I hope to visit again in the near future!!

My stay was totally amazing. Right at the moment I arrived at the lobby I could feel its beautiful atmosphere. Staffs are so kind and giving best effort to make me feel comfortable. One of the coolest places to stay in Ubud!

This place is nothing short of special! Very unique setting and unreal sweeping hillside views from most of the property. Highlight of our trip was relaxing here for sure! Wonderful service and people! Few things like super cheap phones that literally lift and fall to floor when you pick them up, gaps in some bathroom windows for bugs to get in and a bit of noise through walls but none of that could dampen our experience here! It’s truly breathtaking and one of a kind! Also, if being close to Ubud center is important to you - this location is about 30-40 min each way driving so a bit of a ways from other things like that. Cabs they set up or driver is $175,000 Rupiah to get there but you can arrange for cheaper back once in Ubud or take the hotel shuttle that goes there and back every 2 hours which was totally useful. This location while away from town however is near waterfalls, hikes and other things but still pretty removed. We loved it and will come back! Oh and the photography experience we did because we were given that complimentary shoot but with photo then they charge you the most ridiculous rate for the photos which by the time you take the time for them you want them and to top it off they charge 21% hotel tax on those photos. That is a ridiculous fee given it’s maybe 20-30 min and at that point digital photos. We bought them because they were a gift for family but not pleased about those hidden fees.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Kayon Jungle Resort for 4 nights. This place is stunning? The attention to detail is absolutely incredible, and the friendly service is second to none. We had breakfast delivered to our room twice, and also ate breakfast at the restaurant twice - each meal was delicious. We also ate dinners here and the the food is so reasonable priced for fine dining that is so tasty. I'll write a separate review for the restaurant, but again, the waitstaff is so courteous. The property itself has incredible views from every area. This hotel is literally the type of place that dreams are made of or only a place that would be available to celebrities and the extremely rich. Yoga was available daily at 7a. Afternoon tea was from 3-4p where complementary tea and desert was served (top notch stuff too). And happy hour was from 5-6p where guests received a free drink. The room was absolutely incredible. We were in room 804 which was a jungle pool villa. This was probably one of the nicest resort rooms i've ever been in. The view was amazing. I was surprised this place wasn't more busy than it was, but i was totally fine with the smaller crowd. Because the villas are below the common areas and along a steep hill, golf carts are available to pick you up and drop you off at your room. Did I mention how incredibly friendly all the staff was? I stayed here with my partner in October for around 8 nights. Slightly unusual for Bali as normally people tend to travel around but me and my partner just needed to have a stress free vacation.

From the day we arrived we were treated like king and queen. The service team were amazing and so friendly - the Balinese hospitality is outstanding - Unlike a lot of resorts in Europe I got the feeling they are genuinely interested in what you have to say and learn about you to make your experience better.

The location is stunning - definitely has that Instagram look which draws everyone to it. Bar is great - if you are a guest we got afternoon tea and cocktail hour included. One thing that might bother people is that Its around 30 minutes shuttle to Ubud town - however, I didn’t mind as the hotel has a free shuttle service for guests which we took advantage of on several occasions.

We stayed in one of the Kayon Pool Villas with your own private splash pools - the rooms are clean, nicely designed and have a great view of the jungle. Floating breakfast can be provided on request which was a great experience.

I honestly can’t fault this place - I can see why it has won honeymoon destination of the year and I will definitely be returning. Thanks to Lewis & Septi - our butlers for the week - for your service!

It was a nice hotel, but overpriced for the value offered in terms of quality of the resort and the food. The villa’s compare to four Seasons prices (although four Seasons won’t have a private pool), but doesn’t offer equal quality by a Long shot. I would call this a lower end five star resort, maybe upper four star, but the price is to steep for this.
Having said this, the public area and mainly the pools are great and the service is great to. Super friendly staff, very personal and helpful with attention to the guest wellbeing. Service was really great.

Overall: We absolutely loved our stay at Kayon Jungle Resort. This place is absolutely gorgeous.

Cons: We were disappointed to a arrive at 4 pm to find that our villa was not ready. With the price we paid, we would expect to be able to take advantage of using our villa for the entire time we booked it. The delay was frustrating after having traveled for so long and just wanting to relax. Additionally, the staff move at a very glacial pace and do not seem overly eager to help you (with the exception of a few). Furthermore, dinner service is extremely slow so set your expectations.Additionally, the spa is extremely overpriced for the quality of service you receive. You’re better off going to a local spa (I.e. Karsa Spa) where there service is unparalleled for a fraction of the cost! Lastly, the location is no where near Ubud center. It’s a good 45 mins away despite reading otherwise.

Pro: Our butler Liu ( Dwipa) was incredible!! He provided excellent service. He was well spoken, delightful, informative, super punctual, and instrumental in making our stay as wonderful as it was!! Without him, our stay would not have been the same and we are grateful that he was our butler. Another saving grace for this place was how stunning it was. Great views and an all around gorgeous hotel.

This is a very new property and it is run like a well oiled machine, it was far above and beyond my expectations! It was a girls trip of three. The staff made our trip extra special! We got in very late around 2 am and they were waiting with turndown service, cold towels, dinner in our villa and a buggy ride to our palace that was home for 7 nights. The service was prompt and so very kind. They thought through and anticipated every need and want possible. I cannot say enough about this place. It’s magical, dreamy and the definition of serenity! From the morning yoga and complimentary floating breakfast to the spa accommodations and provision of a driver for all adventures, this place is heaven on earth! I will be back! Breathtaking views, unique design, exceptional service by every staff member from the manager, Pardy to the butlers, our restaurant staff and even the drivers and gardeners and the Spa staff. Best resort we have ever stayed in and we have travelled quite a bit. Rooms were wonderful, private and clean with lovely decor sourced locally.The food variety and presentation was incredible at the restaurant and so reasonably priced we rarely ate outside. They especially looked after us for our 30th Wedding Anniversary, creating a flower bath, candle lit dinner, and greeted us warmly with congratulations everywhere. Impeccable attention to detail!
