The staff were fantastic -- I was there for 4 full days working long hours in my room in between attending my kid's baseball games. the room was extremely comfortable and a great place to get alot of work done. the breakfast was terrific and ran for several hours (I was up very early every day so made several trips for fresh coffee and fruits). I enjoyed gthe pool briefly and took advantage of the kitchen. there was always parking near the dor and lots of really good restaurants nearby. a great experience!

Check in at 3, we got there after 5 and room was not ready. Finally got a room 40 min later. Room was clean, strong lemon scent which died down later that evening. We were on the 6 floor. The next morning could not shower there was no water on the 6 floor. Staff apologized repeatedly but no compensation for no water or late on check in.

The staff was great, but there was a lot of work being done at the entrance of the hotel, and there were dogs next door to one of our rooms who barked a lot. There are some areas that need updating/freshening in the hotel. And lots of early morning noise outside (garbage trucks or delivery or something.)

Staff was pleasant and helpful and the room was clean which is most important. My room faced the back parking lot and it was quite noisy. I was able to clearly hear a freight train going by from a few blocks away and either a garbage truck or a truck at the nearby warehouse moving a large container. There were parts of the common areas that could use some attention and there was a general musty smell when entering.

We weren’t able to check in a half hour before the official check in time. Which is OK if other people on line behind us (and there were several) also needed to wait. Then at three our rooms weren’t ready. Room was dark, lacked standard toiletry amenities. Low water pressure.

This hotel is dated and needs some sprucing up. I don’t really mind that, but I don’t think it was the cleanest either. Some dust on the nightstand and soap residue left on the bathroom counter. The other issue was that we had reserved a king room and we received a room with two double beds. It was a late check in and we were too tired to change it. Disappointing. Staff was warm and welcoming.

My stay at Hyatt Place Lakeland Center was excellent from start to finish. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and everything in the room felt well-maintained and organized.

The staff was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with any questions. Check-in and check-out were quick and seamless, which made the overall experience even better.

The location is convenient, and the amenities added great value to the stay. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the level of service provided. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others visiting Lakeland.

First , this place used to be a hospital, maybe you tell your staff not to mention that !! When i checked in it was 5 degrees outside ! It was 10 in my room !! I adjusted the thermostat to it's highest level !! 75 degrees as high as it went ! This place has eight floors , of course i was in room 808 , it was windy and freezing cold outside, i called the front desk, asked if i was doing something wrong with the heat! I was told to set fan at its lowest level ! My wife and i froze, the bed felt like we were sleeping on feathers, that might be good for some, the towels were made for kids no full size towels it was a joke ! The name \" HYATT\"\" AND THE $200.00 A NITE IS WHAT DROVE US HERE !! OUR REGULAR PLACE WAS SOLD OUT \" KNIGHTS INN \" SO DISAPPOINTED \" I'M NOT A PICKY CUSTOMER, THE FACT THAT WE STAYED AND DIDNT DEMAND A ROOM CHANGE OR REFUND IS PROOF OF THAT! WE SLEPT IN OUR CLOTHES AND WE WILL NEVER BE BACK ! EVER ! WE ARE FROM MARYLAND DROVE UP FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY TO VISIT SICK MOM ! NOW WE SICK !

- smelt like a locker room.
- Complained and asked for a new room. Was told they were booked up and couldn’t put me in another room.
- Sent a maid to the room to “clean”. She had a bottle of spray and sprayed areas on the carpet. She said she couldn’t smell it which is crazy because my whole family complained the entire time.
- Went down stairs and saw people checking in all night. They should have put us in another room, cleaned it, and then gave it to another guest and put us in another room.
- The toilet doesn’t flush unless you hold the handle down.
- The elevator makes a sharp squeaking sound that constantly woke me up in the middle of the night..
- I woke up with a headache and stuffed nose and the air quality is horrible. The sheets have a faint locker room smell also.
- When I went to shower my youngest I grabbed a wash cloth and opened it and found makeup foundation. It looked too fresh. I put water on it and rubbed it together and instantly saw it smudging. Our towels hadn’t even been washed from the last stay.
- The pool is full of debris and not maintained well.
- Painters were everywhere. They were painting in the breakfast area and not covering the plates and other stuff that would be given to the occupants the next morning.
- I felt dismissed when first complained and shut down. I did not pay to stay at the Hyatt for this treatment. I could have gone to a motel 6 if I wanted to sleep in filth.
- There were no trash bags in the trash and in the room

The hotel was great, food was great as well. Only small complaint was that if dogs are in the premises to assig them to areas where not other people without dogs are. Twice my kids and I were awaken by a large dog (loud dog barks) one at 1 am and the other at 7 am. But overall it was a great stay and I will stay here again.

What truly stood out was the overall experience. The staff was absolutely incredible here. Very polite and helpful. They're 5 stars. The only complaint are 2 things: the pillows are absolutely terrible and the size of the shower is small. My husband and I both hit my elbows multiple times on the metal bar on the wall each time we showered. The rooms are large enough that this was just poor design but with that bar, it's right at elbow height, it makes the shower tight.

The pans that the eggs, Canadian bacon and hash browns were in were too heavy. It was hard to lift the lids off of the pans. They were also too hot to the touch. The yogurt looked good but the berry compote looked gross. If you’re going to do a yogurt/fruit bar then put out good looking fruit. Basically, more money needs to go to the breakfast bar to increase the quality of the food overall.

We arrived on 12/4/25. Apparently there was about to be a Christmas parade downtown and we made it to the hotel with maybe 15 min to spare - if we had been any later arriving we'd have had to wait until after 9 pm that night to access the parking lot. This hotel sits on the parade route so there is no access in or out of their parking lot hours before the parade starts and then again not until it's over. We had dinner plans that evening that we were unable to keep because we wouldn't be able to get back to park. And forget about walking around downtown to find something to eat - everyone in Lakeland is downtown for the parade. Just an overall miserable check-in and first night there. Would have been super nice to have gotten an email or text letting us know about this parking situation beforehand and we could have planned our meals differently. After almost 8 hours traveling we were looking forward to our dinner that evening.
