Great dinner buffet. Breakfast buffet was good as well. Staff is excellent. Before arriving there, I had a tough time getting anybody to answer the phone. Got frustrated and tweeted out to the world. That got immediate attention and my requests for airport pickup, and other transportation needs were handled very well. Special shout out to Atul Shrivastava the driver assigned to us. He was awesome.

Nice hotel in a busy business area. Front staff is efficient and friendly. We were pleased to visit a clean town after long time. Hotel is perfectly situated in a nice area and shopping area was very conveniently located.
We recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay and experience.

I was expecting a lot more than that was delivered. Afterall, it is the Hyatt name at stake right. The room was old and dirty. The welcome sign had some one else's name on it(?) The food was terrible - the first night the chicken satay was just raw inside. Complained and the chef lady said that's how it comes. No, thank you. You can contract solmanella/E- Coli NOT I. She was actually very rude. She did not come the second night tho (a good thing). Old hotel - needs major upgrades. Rooms have to be renovated to todays standards. Paid way too much for this dump. Stay away.

Dental Issue during stay at Hyatt Regency Lucknow

I had a terrible mishap during morning breakfast service.
I took dates from breakfast spread. These were cut open by your staff and were supposed to be without seeds. While eating these dates, I bit into the pulp and unfortunately there was a seed in one of the dates. The dates were supposed to be without any seed but it seems your staff was very careless and did not ensure that the dates do not have any seeds. The seed affected my lateral incisor. My gums swelled up over next couple of days and the pain was unbearable. I was not able to chew food with pain in my lateral incisor. I had no choice but to visit a dental surgeon to have the dental damage assessed and possible course of remedy. He assessed that the lateral incisor had cracked and that it needs to be removed and he has to implant a new tooth. This will not only cause a terrible surgical pain but will cost me nearly Rs. 35000 !

Horrible experience! Not to a Hyatt standard at all. It’s definitely not a 5 star hotel. Service at breakfast is slow, coffee takes 30 mins etc etc. it’s been a disappointing experience I have booked 2 rooms for 3 nights.. I regret choosing this hotel.

As I travel a lot, I often stay at Hyatt Regency hotels in various cities, including Chicago and New Delhi. I have always had unique and perfect experiences due to the quality of their properties. However, the Hyatt Regency in Lucknow was a major disappointment. The property is poorly maintained, with bad odors everywhere, including the rooms and bathrooms, which were very unhygienic. Additionally, the staff was rude and did not communicate properly with customers, leading to a very bad experience.

A few Waiters at the dining facility are unable to speak in English; I don’t understand Hindi; overall the food and presentation standards have gone down considerably; old vessels; keen on charging money; bar tender could not speak English; no Chardonnay Soveignon red wine; had an old bottle of Australian cheap red win; looks like the place into a bar for hard liquor imbibers; something tells me the overall property is ill maintained both at product and service level; old bath towels; lacking in courtesy; seem to attract less signed visitors; food quality and variety has gone down considerably. I paid good money and regretted it; don’t plan on staying

The overall condition and service at the hotel has deteriorated. I felt it less guest friendly this time. In addition, the carpet in my room was ripped and carpets in common areas (lift lobby and corridors) was dirty.

Hyatt Regency at Lucknow made my 2 night stay extremely comfortable and memorable. The staff (reception, Driver, Server, porter) here is exceptional. Kind, courteous and always ready to help. We were leaving Lucknow by an early morning flight and they made sure we took packed breakfast with us. I stayed here with my senior parents and they too loved the experience.

I have been to many Hyatt properties all over the USA and I can definitely say that the standards of Hyatt here is the same as USA.

This is the worst 5 star hotel I have ever been to, in house kitchen takes 1.5 hours to deliver food and the Valet parking guys crashes the car.

THE TOP CHERRY:
Their manager Ashish will make the situation more unpleasant whenever an issue is being discussed.

The check-in was okay . The staff who accompanied to show me tgecroom was very polite and extremely courteous. But after having breakfast the restaurant staff stopped me by asking whether BF is included in the plan . It was so emrassing then i showed him the booking details. The room amenities were not up to the nark. Towels were old enough and worn out. The bathrob was very old and worn out and slso huge in size that too was offered on demand . I refused to accept/ use it. I was not offrred a fresh and cleaned one. However the housekeeping staff was otherwise helpfull. Overall not so good feeling. Room furniture was also not giving very clean look. Not up to the mark service as i had expected from the hotel ofcreputr. The fresh milk songle use contaibers were misdibg insred powder milk sachets were kept for tea coffee in room.

Nice one nite stay

Nice clean room, fast check in and good service. I had taken the club room, the evening 6-8 PM snacks and beverage service (at the bar) was good. Breakfast was average the the service at the restaurant was amazing. ( the chefs were in a hurry to rap up breakfast at 10:30 but the servers made sure to get me what i wanted ).

the frontdesk was not very helpful and charged the guest in spite of prior credit card authorisation for direct charge in spite of request by guest to look into the matter. The attitude and trainning of front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. I have seen better in much smaller properties. Plus you can't reach them over phone. Otherwise room service, property and food ok. May be a one off set of experience.

The hotel hasn’t opened up completely, There Is no one at the gate for security. The rooms were slightly dusty and really didn’t look sanitized. Hope this was just a passing phase and the hotel will bounce back after Covid is over. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel until Covid has vanished.

First the good part, rooms are big and nice. Restaurants are great.

Now not so good part. Service here sucked during my 2 days stay here. I had terrible experience with front desk where front desk people promised me something they couldn't fulfill. I had 3 rooms booked with them. They only gave me one on time. For the other 2 rooms they said that they will send keys for other rooms within 15 mins. There we were waiting for an hour for the key to arrive but it never did. I went to front desk second time. I got the same answer \"We will send keys to your room within 15 mins\". Again I waited an hour but the key never arrived.

When I visited front desk the third time, front desk lady smiled and said they didn't have any room ready. It was around 4 in the evening and she said that there was some wedding going on and people hadn't checked out from their rooms so far.

Over all this issues, front desk people were never apologetic.

The bathroom sliding door would not close properly and would keep sliding from one end to the other. The shower water would leak in to the other areas, Hand Shower was leaking.

The air conditioning panel would show 20C but it was hot in the room, we had to ask for a table fan to cool things down.

Would not stay again.

Excellent hotel, It was a pleasure staying there. The staff is highly courteous and caring. Rooms are spacious and well maintained with good views. Rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities including tea/coffee maker and steam iron with stand. The restaurant serves food with huge variety and opens for breakfast at 6:30 AM facilitating guests to have breakfast even in case of early checkout.

My stay at the Hyatt was wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. I had made an error in my booking, and the front desk staff helped me correct it. I also want to especially mention the chefs in the restaurant. They personally made sure to accommodate my dietary restrictions and we're extremely pleasant and friendly. It was also nice that the rooms have power outlets that fit plugs from the USA (as long as your devices support the voltage and frequency used in India).

Not so Hyatt....

Rooms small but clean and comfortable, amenities good, no bath tub, inconsistent flow of hot water in bathroom shower.
Hotel was crowded with noisy conference and loud marriage guests creating ruckus everywhere. Breakfast time in the restaurant was a circus. Service was poor, tables were dirty, guests were shouting and complaining, the buffet counters were dirty. Choice of menu and quality of food in breakfast buffet was poor compared to other Hyatt properties.Could not muster enough strength to go back to the restaurant for lunch.
Staff was smiling, warm and welcoming in spite of all this. Will I return back ? Probably no.
