Locorotondo is lovely, and the apartment is well located in the historic centre—but the experience? A bit less than welcoming. We had asked if we could check in a little early, but there was zero flexibility. The manager arrived at 3:15 PM exactly, as if any deviation might trigger an alarm. He wasn’t rude, but let’s just say friendliness didn’t make the trip.
He walked us to the apartment with all the joy of someone delivering a parking ticket. Once inside, we were met with a mattress that felt like it had survived decades of campfire stories and bunk beds. You could practically read your palm on the springs.
Overall, it got the job done—but if you’re hoping for comfort and hospitality, you might want to keep looking..

Dreamy 2 bedroom ,2 bathroom apartment with an upstairs kitchenette and balcony. Everything is well thought out, from wine glasses and napkins to heated towel racks in the bathrooms.
We felt lucky to have discovered this gem of an apartment , located within cozy little Locorotondo, with a view of the Itrea Valley.

Locorotondo is an extremely beautiful town and these accommodations are equally beautiful. Very helpful and courteous staff. Room was large and we'll equipped. Location was right in the center of the Centro Storico with terrific views. While staying here you feel like you are part of the community. The only thing I would address is that my shower didn't have a shelf to hold shampoo/soap/etc. I had to put my things on the floor of the shower. That said, I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful town
I wish we had stayed here longer. Absolutely beautiful 2 level apartment with a kitchen, bedroom on both floors with huge bathrooms. Breakfast was in a separate location, very close by, excellent pizza trattoria right across from us but numerous restaurants close by. This is a great town to use as a base for other towns in Puglia. Reception desk is only open limited hours in the morning and afternoon but that is known to you in advance. Checkin was quick and easy and you are escorted to your room and provided with a brief explanation on what to do if the power goes out or if you don’t have hot water. Loved the attention to details.

We had a wonderful one night stay at this fascinating hotel, and chanced upon an amazing suite which had two double bedrooms, a kitchen area, a little en suite bathroom and an incredible separate bathroom with the most impressive bathtub! Locorotondo is a beautiful town to visit and we were so pleased to stay here. Everything was walkable, the parking was very easy and the concierge could it have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

Great property, but there is no elevator fo people staying on the high-floor units. Our front door handle was somewhat broken but useable. The same for the balcony door. Otherwise, our unit was clean and large. The other complaint was that the air conditioner was quite weak. After blasting it for the whole night, the temperature in the room only dropped from 26.3 to 25.2 degrees Celsius.

Great place. Locorotondo is a beautiful town. Some many option to eat. A lot of places to go. We stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed every moment. Roberto and his staff are wonderful people.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and beautifully furnished and has clean linen. The kitchenette could do with a few extra bits if you really want to self-cater eg chopping knives and board, drying up cloths, better labelling on the hob. However there are so many catering options you don’t need to eat in unless you prefer to. There are lots of shops and a reasonable supermarket within walking distance as well as the market on Friday morning. Parking is free and easy. The bed was super firm - too hard for us but not lumpy etc. The building is one of the oldest in the village and full of quaint features and there are restrictions in what can be done with it. This means it is both beautiful and also not allowed to install external air conditioning units. So the unit that is allowed is more of a fan. However as it is a cooler room anyway it is much cooler than outside so not unbearable but also not as cool as full air conditioning. There is so much to see within walking distance and lots of very pretty towns a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are located in separate buildings therefore the person in reception would have to leave, lockup and accompany guest for checkin. Amazing hotel in Locorotondo
This hotel that is not in a single building, but converted out of various historic buildings in the old town of Locorotondo. There is a central reception, a place for breakfast and the usual hotel services though. This is the Italian \"Albergo Diffuso\" concept. The apartment we had was lovely, it was called \"Casa degli Amorini\" and had an amazing balcony overlooking the countryside. I would highly recommend this hotel, it has all benefits of an own apartment, but the conveniences of an hotel.

Authentic local experience in charming Locorotondo
Wow what a stay! You really feel like a local the comfortable apartment in the historic center of Locortondo. The historic center is small and extremely charming but there several restaurants to try. This is a \"diffuse\" hotel with a reception and breakfast area each separate from the apartments (though only 1 or 2 minutes walk). It makes you feel like a resident of the city. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable and had every amenity we could ask for. Including 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen and a small terrace. You could tell all the thought and good taste put into the design of the room. The breakfast I've ever had in Italy including Pugliese ricotta and stracietella cheese and homemade pastries made daily by Valentina. This is a family-owned business and we met the extremely-welcoming daughter and son of the proprietor during our stay.
Locorotondo is easy driving distance to many interesting towns (eg. Alberobello, Matera, Taranto) and parking is free and easily accessible.
