The hotel was just okay. It needs lots of upgrades/updates. Our room door did not close tightly which was unsettling to me. Our room did not look even close to what the pictures are online the furniture wasn’t even the same. Very dirty/stained. The outside of the hotel is very run down as well as the inside. Continental breakfast is NOT free. Would not stay here again. The staff was friendly.

Where to start... lets start with the good first... was able to check in very early, staff was amazing, pool area was clean! Now the bad... Soon as you enter the room, you can smell chlorine, the room needs an update, old carpets, mirrors, small tv, dressers, etc. Beds were ok. Bathroom needs a complete overhaul! Dirt and grime on the tile and in the grout, needed to leave the water run to get any kind of hot water, by the time the hot water kicked in the tub would fill up. Mold on the bathroom ceiling that you can see they tried to paint over. shower head wasn't the greatest! Toilet was sized for a child not an adult! Felt like I was sitting on the floor!

I found a potato chip tucked under the mattress when undoing the covers. Black mold in the bathroom. Carpet/bottom wall border was coming up and snagged my ankle. Door needed slammed or else wouldn’t shut. And desk staff acted annoyed when approached.

We had to get moved from our original room because the electrical outlets were lacking, the rooms were extremely filthy with dust everywhere, stains on walls, curtains, box springs. Musty smell in the room, peeling paint on ceiling and doorway, loud bathroom fan, clothing rack pulling out of the wall, shower taking 5 to 7 minutes to get hot water, and finally a COCKROACH on the second night to top everything off. I’m in the process of emailing the general manager of that Ramada to try and get my money refunded, but that place was a dump!

The highlight was the woman at the front desk. I came in frazzled because I couldn't find my card to put on file at first among a few other things that went left, but she was a real gem. The hotel itself is dated, but relatively clean, and it got the job done. Would recommend especially if you are visiting your kids at IUP, which I was.

We ended up not staying and asking for our money back! The whole place was gross! As you walk in the ceiling was leaking with buckets all over the place. The courtyard floors were just dirty in general. Have to go outside to go to the second floor! The whole wall was glass and you can see right in your room. The room smelt so bad! The curtains were ripped and the furniture was broke. Didnt even look into the bathroom. Felt very very uncomfortable and unsafe. Will NEVER NEVER stay there!!! I asked for a refund and she acted like she couldnt bc we went through expedia. I asked for some kind of confirmation that we are not staying there, acted like she couldnt do anythinf and then all of a sudden she cancelled our stay. Got an email stating it was canceled, still charged my card. Will be calling first thing in the morning to get money back on my card asap!!!

Hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Indoor common area was a cool place to just hangout and the bar was great. We didn’t eat in the actual restaurant, but we had drinks and food at the bar. Good prices and good food. Bar staff was super friendly. Front desk person was very nice and accommodating. If you’re expecting The Plaza, this isn’t the place. But if you want a reasonably priced room with nice amenities, this is the place. Cable was a little funky. Local channels were terrible reception and the picture just didn’t fit the screen and not adjustable. Other than that, not a single issue. Would stay there again if I’m traveling to Indiana.

Front desk check in person was awesome and helpful and friendly. Beyond that…this place is not good. Service at restaurant/bar was awful…unfriendly bartenders! Rooms…are awful. Curtains on the window were broken we had to clip them with my hair clips to have any privacy from the hallway. A/C was loud…you could hear every door slamming. Thin walls, small rooms…we didn’t even open our suitcase the one night we stayed thinking that we might be taking home some unwanted visitors (bed bugs???) For the price we paid…never ever again! This is not a $150 a night room…everything is dated, dingy and to be honest…a little scary. I thought maybe it would have that cute little “motel” vibe when I booked it…but no. It was disappointing.

This hotel brags about a mediocre live band that plays in a bar located in a large open central area that is surrounded on all side by the guest rooms. This band palsy country music until 10 pm on a Saturday night which disturbs every guest room in the hotel. There is NO escape from the noise until they stop playing at 10 pm. When you come to a hotel while traveling you expect to be able to sleep! NOT here unless you wait until quiet hours after 10 pm on a Saturday. On top of that they charge you $10 a person for a low end breakfast buffet that is 1 choice of eggs, 1 choice of potato and 1 choice of meat. Prepackaged danish and some bread or bagels. Even a Motel 6 offers a free breakfast. Also, this hotel offers no elevators. They were not even there. When complaining to the staff they shrugged their shoulders and said isn't it great! A LIVE band for you and well...they will stop at 10 because the whole place has a quiet hours policy.

I requested a refund because: [1] the toilet backed up; [2] the sink overflowed; [3] the rug in the room was damp, squishy, and moldy; and [4] there was very limited parking because the entire back of the hotel parking lot was off limits for repaving; and [5] the pictures of the rooms did not reflect what was the reality. Unfortunately, we had to leave this hotel a few hours after arriving. The pool area is really nice and the person who check us in (Jill) was lovely, but the room was dirty, in disrepair and there was mold. It also smelled strongly of mold so I did not feel it was safe to sleep there, especially with my kids. :( Other than the pool, the pictures on the website do not seem to be up-to-date with current state. Thankfully, hotels.com got involved and the manager did not us for 3 nights. I am only leaving this review because I don't want others to experience what we did.

There was an issue with one of the hallways in the hotel where as the heat was blasting in the middle sof the summer which made it extremely hot to walk thru the hallway. The pool area was nice and spacious. The bar area and dining area closed way too soon. There were very limited options for food or drinks after 9pm in the area.

We have stayed at this property before, last time we were in the courtyard and all was fine. This stay was completely different. Our rooms were located on the second floor at the end of building and the conditions drastically reduced. We were not notified that this side of building was having issues. The hall itself was extremely hot due to no proper ventilation for the rooms air conditioning units to exhaust. One of our rooms the lock on the door was weak and could be pushed open. Had we been made aware I could’ve been more at ease or asked to be switched. It was disappointing. However, like I said if you stay right in the courtyard all is good. It was like 2 hotels in one.

First impression when entering the parking lot was very outdated and pictures used had to be from years ago and it didn't get much better from there.

Room had a horrific oder. We were moved and the next room had a strong smell of gasoline. We left within 30 minutes.

Another person complained about their drain and was told maintenance isn't here will have to wait until tomorrow.

Only three hotels had availability and I see why this was one of them.

Don’t stay here!

The guests that I booked the room for state that they walked inside and were assaulted by the horrible sites, pungent smell, and lack of service. They went into the room and immediately walked out, finding the room, hotel lobby, and common areas to be extremely unacceptable. They refused to sit on any furniture and wanted to leave as soon as possible. They felt it was a safety and cleanliness concern to be in the facility. It took them a longer than it should to check out, due to the front desk clerk being outside on a smoking break for two hours. She conveniently left the hotel phone off the hook on the counter. My guests also said that they had never smelled the “combination of mold, mildew, stale cigarettes and cat pee,” before. The photos apparently also don’t do it justice. All of the windows and doors in the building were left open 24/7 due the extreme heat in the hallways. They said it was 100 degrees easily in the building, due to faulty air conditioning. Also, the pool is located in the middle of the lobby indoors to a lovely carpeted surrounding that absolutely reeked of mold. They left and chose a Hilton instead.

TLDR: if you do not want to sleep in a sweaty sauna that smells like a ungodly molded litter box and ashtray combination and hasn’t been cleaned since 1990, here is NOT where you want to be.

I believe because it was hot entrances were open, little bugs keep appearing in the room. Flies were flying in my room you kill it the next minute another comes in.

The staff on duty was nice, when I asked for a change to my original room, I went up and the heat in the corridor was very high which make it feel like you are burning so I decided to just stay in the one downstairs because the corridors downstairs was ok but the room was not good. Bed was comfortable.

I had no appetite due to the are not been clean so I didn’t even make an attempt to try breakfast.

Facility was dilapidated and had peeling wallpaper in the hallways because there is no air conditioning in any part of the property other than inside the rooms. Majority of the property was uncomfortably hot. Doors that should be closed and locked at night were propped open 24 hours a day due to the excessive neat inside. Box fans were seen everywhere throughout the property including approximately 12-15 in the bar/restaurant. Staff members were uncomfortably sweating while taking care of the guests. Room was surprisingly clean and comfortable and the staff members were very nice and welcoming…..that was the ONLY upside to this property. I would not reccomend this property to anyone. I expected so much better quality and conditions from a Wyndham property. They should be ashamed.

Wanted to use credit card for room deposit and then pay cash. We’re told no we couldn’t do that. If we wanted to pay in cash we had to pay cash deposit of $200 for each room. It was absolutely ridiculous. Bar was okay. No elevators. Had to drag luggage up 3 flights so stairs. Will never stay again or recommend.

Some areas are very outdated

We were on the 2nd floor. Our room was not facing the pool/courtyard. The hallway to get to our room was extremely hot. It was so uncomfortable, as I am extra sensitive to heat. There are metal pillars in the pool area that are rusted at the bottom. There are holes in the skylights that look to be repaired with clear tape. Some things are outdated and others are renovated. I was planning on staying again in August because the prices are better than the Hampton or the Holiday Inn (both are down the street) but I am cancelling and booking at a newer renovated hotel.

When arriving to property and walking thru front doors you walk into a sauna 90 degrees or more thru out entire main areas. Dining, pool, bar all with no air. When swimming went to ask for towels where owner was working front desk and was told there were no clean ones till house keeping came in following day. Went to hotel room and learned we had 4 people staying in a room and only two towels to shower with. Tried to eat at restaurant where only one girl was bar tending and cooking and could not keep up along with not having air in that area either. Room smells musty and dirty.

The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Good AC. Their TV service is not acceptable because there are no local channels...just movie channels. I'm not a movie on TV fan.
