Modern clean and we loved the fire place that dried clothes quickly from the washing machine in the cabin.
We wished we’d had some tongs for food prep, however everything else was there that we needed for cooking.
Great size fridge but a small dishwasher which is understandable and needs to be stacked back to front.
A good walk into town that hugs the lake as you do.
TVs in every room.
We enjoyed our stay safe and secure.

The property was located close to Jindabyne town centre. The cabin was basic and could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils. There was no free wifi that we could access and because reception was contactless it meant that there was no one to ask questions. There was no information in the cabin about where to eat and what to do in the local area. I’m glad we had researched well before we left. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfy and that’s what counts. I’d recommend Discovery Parks Jindabyne ☺️

The unit was filled with dead insects. This was not something that could have been missed by the staff if they were competent. The cleanliness of the unit was poor.

There was no way that this would have had a proper clean as required in COVID times.

Lovely Deluxe cabin with fireplace

The Deluxe cabin with fireplace is lovely. Really captures a sense of the mountain chalet style - we loved it. However, the administration failed to let us know that the reception was unmanned - we had no way to get our key from the 'safe'.
Make sure you get the key safe information before you arrive - the reception is not manned!

The location of discovery parks motel is great. Just near the lakes. However few things need to be improved. WIFI wasn't working and the house keeping service wasn't around. The soaps etc in the bathroom were not refilled after 1 day as it should have ideally happened.

Excellent location by the lake, 25 mins to Perisher ski field. Beautiful setting. Quiet. Our unit had everything we needed. Microwave. TV. Heater. Hot water. 4 bunks and a double bed. Extra blankets if needed. Free wi-fi (although this only worked sporadically). It'd be a lovely place to camp as well. Jumping pillow. Giant chess. Big Connect Four. Playground for kids. Tennis court. A spa (which was under maintenance). Great customer service. Easy check in.

Was really nice and new. Great location on the main road to Perisher. Near the beautiful lake. Got a great upgrade from a tiny cabin without a bathroom to a newly renovated family cabin, with 2 rooms and a bathroom kitchen and lounge room which was awesome. Liked the bed warmers and air conditioning in main bedroom
and loungeroom. Bed was super comfy. Great open spaces and amenities. Loved the wall imports for chargers throughout the house. Had a tv in the main bedroom which was great. Great storage spaces and the bunk beds were nice and sturdy.
Only thing that made it bad was that there was 2 stains on the bed spread that had pink stain remover product o ln top of them... so they may need to check the cleaners standards. But other than that I would definitely stay again and recommend the place.

There is nothing ‘deluxe’ about this accomodation, in bad need of a Reno and dirty! There was rubbish in the room when we checked in and mould all over the bathroom roof. If this was cheap accom you soul put up with it, but not good enough for over $300 a night!

Fantastic location on the lake, probably needed to be a little bigger for 3 adults & 2 children but fi e for 2 adults & 2 children, good facilities. Bottom of the toilet was leaking a little but great size bathroom, lounge could be a bit more comfortable & quilts need replacing were old looking. Overall was happy with our cabin.

With everything else I looked at being so expensive, I wasn’t expecting much from a cabin that cost less than a lift pass, but the $108 2-bedroom cabin was quite nice, with good beds, a decent bathroom with a strong hot shower (and even a spa bath if you’re into that), kitchen, and a good heater. The staff were great although be aware of the short check-in times. The wifi might only be in the lobby and amenities areas but we could pick it up from the cabin and it was pretty good. The 3km walk to town is a serious challenge in winter but the price still seems really low for a good cabin in a tourist area (I’ve paid more for inferior cabins in non-tourist towns).

The cabin is not clean. We had to re-clean before using amenities. Might due to peak time in school holiday, the cleaners had to rush to do other job.
Hot water was not reliable. Sometimes getting too cold in the middle of our showers.

Do not like arriving, having paid for 4 people to find all three bunk beds not made up. It infuriates me that you get charged per person yet beds are not already made. Bunks were almost impossible to make up as well.

Kitchen was poorly equipped also. Cabin accommodates 5 yet only had cutlery and crockery for three people. Hardly any utensils provided (eg no can opener or bottle opener) and no storage containers. Had to put a request through to reception for a fry pan to be able to cook breakfast.

If I’d paid $100 a night I would have possibly expected the above but this was hailed as a ‘Deluxe Cabin’ at circa $430 per night and whilst the inside was clean, fresh and new, what was provided was lacking. No lamp to dim the lighting for watching tv - not even a table to put a coffee cup on.

Location was handy to access Alpine Hwy into the snow fields and staff were friendly and helpful when I put requests through for the basics missing in the kitchen.

The room stay was beautiful as well as the location. I would highly recommend staying here. On arrival, staff was friendly and showed me the way to the cabin. The room was clean and amentities were all prepared and ready for my use. The location is beautiful during the winter, the lake is calming and there is easy access for parked vehicles. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and would most likely be returning
