It was a great stay at the Lahana Resort. It’s a quiet hotel off the main road but still close enough to the action. Hotel was super clean, rooms changed everyday. Breakfast was the best one on the trip (versus 4 other hotels). No complaints/feedback to share. Also, great value!

Wonderful property! The included breakfast is fantastic and the pool is lovely, overlooking the town.

My only complaint was that the AC in our room was not effective. I don’t know if our unit specifically was malfunctioning, but it was hard to sleep at times because the room was so humid.

Absolutely beautiful hotel resort which made Phu Quoc worth the trip. Situated a short uphill walk off the main road was so much better than staying anywhere else. We had a bungalow at the top of the hill and they had a golf buggy if needed. Breakfast and pool area was stunning. Only thing needed is more sun beds, they were full most of the day. We had lunch and dinner there on separate occasions which was great. Breakfast was delicious and varied both Asian and western choices. Happy hour cocktails were amazing watching the sunset over the infinity pool which we did most nights. Far best one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in and we enjoyed the outdoor shower! Spotlessly clean, helpful and polite staff and absolutely stunning gardens.

Lahana is a beautiful property, with lovely gardens and is very peaceful and quiet, even though it is just a short walk into a busy commercial area. The staff are outstanding, always available and helpful if you need something and are gracious and kind. The hill villas are comfortable and spacious, their design incorporates many natural materials, we especially liked the open-air screened bath area and outdoor private shower. Overall an extremely well run resort and would recommend highly.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. From the views of the sea, sunset and mountains from the swimming pool and restaurant to the rooms and service.

But what made this the best stay we had in Vietnam is the people. We unfortunately had an accident (not in the resort) and Vy was amazing with us. Constantly checked in while we were in hospital, arranged for our belongings to be kept safe and ensured we were always looked after on our return. Someone was always available to help us as we had restricted mobility and it was great to have Vy and her colleague’s support during a challenging time.

Khang, one of the bell men that kept helping us, was also very kind and helpful. Always available to assist with a smile on his face and pride in everything he does. He even drove me across the road from the resort to collect laundry even though the buggies are usually for internal use only.

Every single employee was a pleasure to interact with. We hope to visit Phu Quoc again to enjoy it in good health, and when we do there is no doubt we will stay at Lahana Resort - hoping to see you all again soon!

We loved everything about our 5 night relaxing stay from our rooms with the outdoor shower, the very comfortable bed and pillows, the relaxing pool, the restaurant by the pool if you wanted lunch or dinner, the closeness to the Main Street and last but not least, the incredible breakfast spread that was utterly delicious with a hugh amount of choice.

What a fantastic hotel! The pool and the entire space is beautiful and so well looked after. We went with kids and stayed a week, although it was rainy season, it was still warm, but they have a playroom for the little ones which was handy at occasion. The pool restaurant was also very handy to grab a bite. Staff was very friendly informing about tours and drivers. Breakfast was amazing, so many options!

We loved our stay at Lahana Resort. All the staff we encountered were lovely, polite and helpful. The hotel grounds feels like an oasis. The pool area is great. Even when it was busy, you still can have your own space. Amazing breakfasts! It was different every morning we were there (4 mornings). We had the hill bungalow and we loved the layout. A very spacious bathroom and bedroom! The balcony with the drying rack was also very convenient to hang out swimming stuff/laundry. We would definitely stay at this hotel again! Thank you for a lovely getaway and keep up the good work.

We stayed at Lahana 6 nights. It is off a busy road but is very green and slight up the hill so there is a nice open feel and view at the top where the pool and restaurant are. Our room is spacious and on the second floor which is nice among the trees. Just cross the street and walk through a bar belonging to another resort to get to the beach which is very nice. The staff at Lahana are wonderful.

Great location and wonderful pool area. Hotel has all you need for a stay except one item - stayed in the hundreds of hotels across the world but never been to somewhere that doesn’t offer an iron in your room (or via concierge). They don’t have one on offer! Small thing but might be important to some people.

Otherwise highly recommend staying.

Overall experience was excellent. Infinity pool was very nice with excellent view. It wasn’t on the beach, but you can literally just walk down the road and cross the street (walk through another resort) to easily access. Upon checkout they charged us for a chipped tea cup which was already chipped on arrival. We informed them it was already chipped but they charged us anyway.

Good location - walking distance to a few nearby places like Chinatown and Maxwell Hawker Centre.
Small room. Bathroom was so cramped, the spot where stand in front of the basin to brush your teeth is right in front of the toilet seat, which is also where you stand to shower - yes, you may have to brush your teeth or pee with your feet on a wet floor.
Staff seemed friendly, but it was sometimes hard to get their attention when they also double as bartenders on the other side of the desk.

It was a great place to relax and spend a few days by the pool. The pool is great. The room was very nice.

The restaurant is ok, not great.

The one major complaint I have was Christmas Eve dinner. It was a disaster. Wrong things were being served, drink orders were missed. There was one waiter who was really trying his best, but the rest of the staff was clueless. There didn’t seem to be anyone in charge. Definitely a bummer for Christmas Eve.

We loved that the property was away from the noise and that the staff were super helpful and a couple of them spoke English really well but the others were all very friendly. The family room was spacious and the outdoor bathroom was beautiful. The only thing was the spraying to keep the mozzies out was quite full on but we definitely didn’t get harassed by mozzies which was miraculous for us Aussies. All in all it was really relaxing after the craziness of Saigon. Thanks to the staff for our time at Lahana.

Breakfast buffet had a lot of options, egg station, Vietnamese dishes/soups, pastries fresh fruit and juices. I had pesto penne pasta for room service which was so good! There is a market just down the street that has any supplies you need including sunblock, beer/wine etc beach was 15 min walk. Hotel staff speaks English & Kate in the restaurant by pool was so friendly and helpful to me! I loved it here

A pleasant suprise for my husband's birthday

There are many accommodation options in Phu Quoc, but if you are looking for a hotel with a reasonable price and good services, I would recommend Lahana resort. 5 mins walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and supermarket which is very convenient. We also enjoy the pool very much. It was my husband's birthday during the stay and I was asking the staff if she can bring me some candles. At the end she made us a cake and what a pleasant surprise (for free, so sweet)!

Half backpacker / Half resort

The location is half backpacker half resort. The backpackers (Station 9) is located at the front of the property and the resort at the back. Therefore expect to hear thumping loud music until late at night.

The external locks on the balcony of the room are nothing more than a toilet door lock. They can easily be opened with a screwdriver, credit card or other flat object. It is a serious security concern and is only a matter of time before there is a burglary or worse. Especially when almost all of the rooms are located on the ground floor, a small child could even break into these rooms.

The bones of this new property are there and the staff seem to care, but the loud backpackers which is part of the same property and the huge security risk of the doors mean I won't return and can not recommend the resort.

Comfy stay but got chased out by annoying staff

The amenities are fairly standard and the guest room is roomy. However, the service is questionable. Near our check out time (just past noon), the staff called us to remind us of the check out and we clearly told them we were busy packing. We thought it was just a friendly reminder but the calls kept coming until it was annoying. They even threaten us, they would charge late check out after 12:30. The place didn't look like it was very busy that they need to do that kind of scare tactics. Management really needs to change their service standards.

Lahana Resort Phu Quoc was extremely nice and the open bath room with outside shower was amazing. I really enjoyed my few days at the resort. The breakfast was good and the staffs were outstanding from front desk, to doorman, housekeeping and restaurant people were all super nice and attentive. I booked a bungalow at the highest level on the resort and the view from the balcony looking out to the ocean from the hill was refreshing. Plus it rain a lot while I was there so you get a nice breeze. Overall it was a nice stay with no regret. I also noticed people of Phu Quoc are one of the friendliest people in Vietnam.

Quite new resort. Infinity pool is smartly located at top of property with great view because of slight elevation. Staff do want to please, but English language skills aren’t particularly strong. However, with a little patience (and learning some local Vietnamese words!) it doesn’t take too long to sort it out.

Good selection for breakfast, which rotates food over 3-4 days for variety, and includes a chef to cook fresh eggs (and or combinations) for you on the spot.

Room was good (we had ocean-view), except as many others have said, due to bathroom being open to the elements (due to outdoor shower), and only one door in between, mosquitoes can be annoying as there’s no way to shut them out when you go in and out of the bathroom. And more annoying is that it is very challenging to be in the bathroom or using the toilet without feeling like you are fresh meat for them!!

That aside, the currency exchange rate was really great (almost equal to official quoted rates).

The 9 Station Hostel at bottom of resort is part of same company, and although for backpackers, the food menu and drinks are essentially the same as Lahana, but significantly cheaper! If you want the view from the pool, you’ll be paying for it in your price.

Overall, we had a great time and experience at Lahana.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, flexible and quickly responded to our requests or inquiries. They also quickly arranged a taxi for us on our departure day. The peaceful and beautiful tropical resort was nicely maintained. We love all the waterfalls, the Koi fish ponds and the colorful tropical plants and flowers. The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities. The pool by the dining room had a nice view of the ocean. There were plenty of chairs and towels available. The issues were the bed was a bit hard, so it was not very comfortable. The WiFI was pretty slow. The location of the hotel, although was close to all the restaurants and shops, we had to walk 5 minutes through a dark and muddy alley. When it was wet, the motorcycles or cars would splash the muddy water onto the pedestrians when they drove by.

My wife and I stayed three nights in a Superior Bungalow.
The bungalow was mostly excellent and while the open-air bathroom is a nice idea there is a need for better mosquito control in the bedroom. They're very good at finding gaps to get in and bite during the night. Perhaps nets would be the best improvement.
Breakfast was good with a broad range of options but it wasn't great.
The restaurant and pool area would be much more pleasant if it was non-smoking.
The location is a convenient because it's near the beach, the main town, and not too far from the airport.

Awesome Vacay Spot!

First impression was done right when we were immediately offered a refreshing beverage just as we were checking in. They took care of our bags so quickly before I could even blink twice! I definitely got the feeling that the workers put their guests’ comfort as their number one priority.

Aside from the service, the environment was top notch. Very quiet, relaxing, and clean. The layout of the whole resort is so well thought out. While walking around, I honestly thought that I’d enjoy any room because of each unique view. There’s greenery EVERYWHERE, some koi fish ponds, and many streams of water.

Breakfast was also included during our stay. The breakfast was a whole buffet; a selection of both American and Vietnamese cuisines. The restaurant of the breakfast is located beside the pool, which I must add has an amazing view. Again, everything so well thought out.

Overall, 10/10 would stay again. Loved my stay!

Arriving at Lahana Resort is like arriving at an oasis of beauty and peace away from the bustle of the nearby centre. The Seaview Bungalow was amazing and I've never seen a bathroom like it. (Think \"Bounty\" advert) The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool area was lovely.

Excellent oasis of peace and quiet. Great pool and phenomenal friendly service. The restaurant has some great dishes but also some mediocre, so there’s a learning curve. Would definitely stay again if in that region. Only drawbacks is that the beach is good, but not great, and some of the hotels along the main road have quite loud music at night. But breakfast and a dip in the infinity pool is to die for :-)

Beautiful Boutique resort property in the center

Lovely new property. Rooms are clean and airy. The property and grounds are absolutely wonderful and blend in with nature. The infinity pool at the top of the hill is the piece-de-resistance. Absolutely fabulous views. Property is a 6-8 minute walk from Sunset Bar on the beach and quite centrally located. There is no room service at the property, just a single restaurant that is open all day. The rooms are breakfast inclusive and there is a lovely breakfast spread daily. The restaurant is affordable and not too pricey. Service in the rooms is just a tad slow. Overall a lovely, comfortable and beautiful property that is conveniently located and much nicer than anything we saw around the area. I would go and stay at La Hana again and would also recommend it to my friends and family.

Lovely infinity pool just as in the pictures. Room was spacious & clean, lovely bathroom too. Beautiful breakfast selection & restaurant staff very attentive, enjoyed the evening bbq
We only had one issue & that was the WiFi internet was very temperamental!

Nice but noisy

This was a nice hotel- not on the beach but a short walk to the main road and a swimming beach. The breakfast was okay and the meals we had at the hotel were good and a reasonable price. Our room was the cheapest category and we found it very noisy. We asked to be moved but the hotel was full. If you book here I would advise spending a bit more on a better room and also getting a view.

Great spot!

Great hotel, very well done with fantastic scenery, an incredible (though cold) pool, and a very helpful staff. Up a side street, it’s not far from the main road. The most challenging thing about the hotel was finding the beach from it (though I blame the city of Phu Quoc for having too many resorts in a row with no way of getting through them to the beach unless you pretend like you are staying at one if the resorts). I highly recommend this hotel, the rooms are big, the views are stunning, and the pool creates an excellent spot to watch the sunset.

Beautiful hotel in amazing surroundings

Stayed here for 4 nights in Nov/dec. booked a deluxe garden view room. Very nice decoration throughout. Hotel grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Staff could not do more to help. Would def stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious and very well maintained. The staff are amazing and helpful in every way they can. The property grounds are fantastic, featuring two koi fish ponds, a large infinity pool with fantastic views, an out door gym and perfectly manicured gardens. Location is very good, within walking distance to local interests. The food was also very nice here, there is a large selection on offer in the mornings. Also lunch, dinner and cocktails are delicious here too...and enjoying them overlooking the pool was amazing.

Would definitely reccomened staying in this hotel if you are visiting Phu Quoc.

Good hotel with potential to be great!!

We were received by the staff which were very helpful at all times and taken to our room in a golf cart. We stayed for 8 days and we loved the bungalow. We liked the concept of the hotel and just needs some improvements. They provided some type of open wardrobe which wasnt very convenient because of the humidity and heat in that open space. The pilllows werent very confortable either. No robes were provided. The cleaning of the floor needs a tiny bit more attention. Thats about what in my opinion needed improvement. On the positive side the staff are amazing and the service provided by the reception staff and bar/ breakfast was 5 stars. The rooftop pool is a real delight and was amazing the time we spent there. Overall i would definetely come back to lahana. Location is perfect away from busy and noisy road.

A nice retreat

Overall lovely hotel. I stayed in the bungalow so panoramic view and quiet.
Staff were lovely and room was great.
Few things to note (mostly unrelated to hotel); gym is very basic so don’t expect a lot here. As was end of wet season be prepared for on and off periods of rain and mosquitoes. Also humidity which meant my clothes which were in the section separate to room were damp and everything requires washing afterwards.

The resort was beautiful. Although not in the centre it was very close to the centre and all facilities with the centre just a cheap taxi ride away.

The staff was lovely and the accommodation clean.

The resort caters for all types of travellers. I stayed with my young family and the kids loved it here.

Absolutely loved our stay at Lahanna Resort. From smooth airport pick-up to check-out, everything was effortless. The staff are incredibly friendly, service-minded, and make you feel completely at ease. The resort is clean, quiet, and well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere throughout.

Delicious breakfast and great food and drinks. Our hillside bungalow was comfortable and peaceful. The pool area, with infinity pool, is wonderful, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to the lively area, yet the resort itself feels like a calm oasis.

A very pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Jättefint och mysigt hotell beläget en bit ifrån myllret på gatan. Bra läge, trevlig och varm personal, särskilt Duyen som var väldigt hjälpsam och snabb på att svara.

Vacker trädgård och natur omkring, också jättefin utomhusdusch i vår bungalow. Vi skulle absolut rekommendera!

良かった点
・ホテルの敷地内はきれいに整備され、クリスマスの飾りも可愛らしかった。自然が多いが、思っていたほど虫は出なかった。
・朝ごはんが美味しく、バラエティに富んでいた
・スタッフの方が優しく親切だった

改善点
・自然が多く、バスルームが蚊帳で仕切られているのみだっため、蚊に刺されないか神経質にならないといけなかった。赤ちゃんと子ども連れだったので、余計に気を使ってしまい、疲れた。虫を気にならない人であれば、リゾートを感じられて良いと思う。
・シャワーのお湯が丁度良い温度で出ない。熱いか冷たいかで不便だった。

Jag stannade på tre olika hotell under min vistelse på Phu Quoc, och Lahana var min absoluta favorit. Satt och kollade under resan om några lediga rum skulle dyka upp så jag kunde åka tillbaka. Bra service, läget är centralt (gångavstånd till strand och centrum med restauranger), fina och tysta rum (toppen för mig som är en som vaknar lätt).

客室は清潔でした。ただ、冷蔵庫がぬるく氷を頼まない（課金）と冷たい飲み物が飲めないのが難点。
また、隙間が多めの部屋構造だったので、虫が入って来そうなところも。
あとは、タクシー運転手を呼んでもらったのですが、事前にホテルから聞いていた金額より高い額をふっかけてきて、払わないと下ろせないと言われました。ホテル自体には満足でしたので、こういった個人タクシー？と提携しているのは残念です。
とはいえ、朝食はどこよりも美味しかったですし、眺めも最高でした。
是非次回も利用したいので、改善希望です。

部屋はグレードアップはしてもらえませんでしたが、朝食などは悪くないです。
部屋掃除がいつも遅く、仕方なし、午後の一時までには終えてくださいと、レセプションでリクエストしました。
チェックインのとき、レクイチェックアウトを2時と頼み、帰りの飛行機が夕方6時過ぎだから3時半に空港までの送りを頼んだのですが、前日にレイトチェックアウトの時間をしたら、なんと！聞いてない！と！
すったもんだがありました。
どんなに英語が苦手でも、12時半と、2時を聞き間違えませんし、いい間違えません！
また、次の予約の人か部屋に入るから、12時？12時半がチェックアウトだと言われました。もう嫌になり、そのつもりでプールサイドから戻ると、今度は一時半でいいと言われ、またまた不愉快な気分に！
楽しく過ごすことができていたのに、また好きなベトナムなのに、最後はもう気分を変えることはできませんでした。
それ以外は何回も行っているベトナム、のんびりしましたが。残念てす。
