The room is non smoking, however as they allow other rooms to smoke in the balcony, the smoke goes into my room and contaminates our air. When we complain about it, the reception is dismissive and said they cannot do anything about it

Pictures are not right. Hotel is required renovation. When I first stepped in the room, my attention was caught by a standing fan so my first instant feeling was that there must be a problem with air conditioning. Air con wasn't cool enough and I asked for change of room but i was told all rooms were sold out. They promised me to change room the next day but they sent a technician to fix the problem instead which I very much appreciated, then I stayed on in the same room without any problem. Actually, the staff was very helpful as they tried to help in many ways. My departure flight was in the afternoon, although my late out couldn't be accommodated, they offered us to have a shower in the lobby shower room so that I got refreshed before taking the flight.

Hotels.com should delist this hotel.

I had checked in to the hotel and found the room unacceptable. An extremely small aircon was used for a "suite room". Curtains were drabby and water leaked all over the bathroom from the bath tub. We did an early check out after 2 hours and found another hotel on our own. Reception guy also was not ready to serve us when we arrived and didn't even bother to us why we wanted to check out after so soon. This place should just be delisted from hotels.com to avoid disappointment to other travellers!

I wanted to give this place minus -1 if I could. First of take those nice pictures off and put the real ones. Straight up lie about the premises. Dirty, there were long hair everywhere floor, bed, bathroom. Room was tiny, opened my luggage and couldn't move around its very small even for one person. Thin walls no privacy and very noisy. There are two major constructions going on behind walls. I could hear people snoring and talking at night in other suites. There are also rats in that building and you can hear them how they race above the ceiling. That place should cost $5 a night. Small, dirty, noisy.

We were looking for honey moon sweet room with a great view, and room wich I chose was incredible. Loved the round bed, balcony and bath over the glass wall. Those reasons were enough to stay there.
But Images in expidia.com show that there are two sweet rooms and both of them has a huge balcony. In this case, I didn’t see the difference and chose the chippest one. The pictures were not correct, that room didn’t have balcony at all. We were very disappointed.

Good condition and nice room.

The location was good and close to the beach. Rooms were nice and the staff were very friendly. However, we found it hard to communicate with the reception staff because we don’t speak Vietnamese and they didn’t speak much English. This was tricky when booking our hotel for the airport for our 3am flight as we were concerned that it may not come as they didn’t seem to understand us (luckily it did in the end). Also the breakfast was not great and the room was small with not much to choose from and not very good quality food. Most of it had run out and was not being replaced again by the time we got to breakfast an hour before it shut.

Value for money

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. As with any hotels there are pros and cons. I will list out below.
Pros : Hotel's location is good , lots of eateries, shopping within walking distance and the beach is just across the road. Wifi and the air con is very good. Breakfast spread in our opinion is really good for the price we pay ( don't think I can get this back home). Staff is friendly and check in and out was a breeze. Thankfully during our stay there were no construction on so we slept very well. Taxis all use meter and is cheap.
Cons: Improvement should be made to the shower area. It's better that they install a door at the shower area as there is ample space. After each shower the entire floor/bathroom is wet. The glass partition between the bed and bathroom could do with frosted glass instead of a pull across plastic drapes because the bottom part of the drape ( due to the water splashes) is stained and dirty which is so unsightly.
So overall it is pleasant stay.

Terrible stay tiny elevator no air conditioning, they had fans go full ball just to keep guests cool in 34 degree heat in reception.

Buffet breakfast was terrible, small room was over crowded, stuffy, no variety or selection of food.

Family room was suppose to have 2 double beds but only had 1 double bed the other was a sofa bed with thin mattress caused extreme bad back ache. What was worse was the bed head positioned 20cm away from toilet door, toilet had no exhaust fan or window, shower did not have shower head stand just had a hose.... Terrible terrible stay wouldn't recommend and would not come back ever again.

Fantastic stay @ new sun nha trang

Check in was a breeze..to our surprise the room was new looking and soo beautiful with a bath tub and window with sea view..had a minibar filled with drinks and also had some Tit bits..breakfast was a good variety and good at this price.. however it gets abit boring one 3rd day onwards as it’s the same menu each day..we rented a bike with the hotel as it felt safe to rent from them even though slightly more exp..they offered help whenever needed and checkout was a breeze..the gals who work there were cute and the guy who does the night shift was super helpful! Fantastic!

We booked the sea view for our stay instead, we only got one room with that view. Also, the other side of the building under construction which made a lot of noise. I wished the hotel had contacted us prior to our arrival that they were having construction on the other side of the building. Sucks because we couldn’t use the rooftop, the hot tub sucks and was not working. It was in a small area which was not worth it. There’s only one elevator and you cannot use the stairs on certain levels due to construction. The room was clean so I thought until we found FLEAS in one of the rooms!!!! Went down and talked to the front desk, they said all they can do was clean our room for us. We wanted our money back and had to have a friend who spoke the language come by to explain the situation. They finally agreed to moving us to another room. Breakfast was amazing though.

Overall this place could have been better if we had gotten what we paid for (sea view) and if they would had warn us about the construction noise.

Check if under reconstruction before you book

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a double room on the 8th floor. Our stay was negatively affected by ongoing construction and maintenance works on higher and also lower floors which created a lot of noise and dirt inside the hotel. That was simply bad planning from hotel management. Receptionists, just like any other hotel staff, could hardly speak any English. Wifi connection was terrible. Buffet breakfast was good, location of the hotel is good, and room condition and equipment were also good.

We booked this hotel for the 2nd time, and it is still in good condition and also it is what we expected.

We love the breakfast!!

But the only thing is disappointing, is the room we booked had a very bad smell from the drain pipe upon checkout.

Close to the beach and it has a hose for you to clean the sand before getting back to the hotel.

The hotel car service to airport is reasonable, don't bother to take the yellow bus or cherry bus to the airport. The bus does not show up even I booked ahead, just take the hotel car.

Good value overall. Breakfast was simple but nice. Wifi was down for one night however they explained that it would be repaired the next day, which it was. The only major issue was rats in the roof which seemed to become active at night while trying to sleep. Rooms are very modern and comfortable.

Be Warned, Extremely loud building work next door

Great Hotel and friendly staff.... However, There is EXTREMELY loud building work that has just started right next door, early in the morning which makes it impossible to relax. It looks like they are building a new Hotel. If you don't intend to stay in the hotel for long during the day, it would be OK for you.

This hotel was really good. Had everything we needed for comfort and cleanliness. The views were really great and the staff was helpful. The free breakfast included was horrible. There was no one at the egg "live" station and the staff there seemed rude. The food was also never re filled. But with skipping breakfast I would recommend this hotel. It's a good price and a comfortable stay!

Would not recommend.

Upon arrival we rented a motorbike (150,000 vnd for the day). The bike ran out of fuel less than 1 km from the hotel. The bike would continue to shut off as we were driving. Tried to change it for a different motorbike and the other ones they had all the same issues.

When checking out, they charged us (50,000 vnd) saying we stole a small towel. We let them check out two backpacks and they did not find a small towel. They said they couldn't find it in the room so we must have stolen it. I rate this hotel a 0 out of 5 stars.

Great hotel, at a great price.

The New Sun Hotel is only 2 years old, so everything is great there. The breakfast was beautiful, and plenty of it available.
The hotel arranges tours, and they hire motorbikes, and they do airport shuttle service.
The hotel is difficult to find on foot, but all the taxis know where it is.

Great hotel. Not a bad breakfast. Beautiful room. The only downfall was a bad smell we got from the bathroom. We mentioned it to them and it was fixed by the time we got back but it started coming back on our last day. Staff were very helpful. Would recommend staying here. The spa on the roof is pretty awesome.

I had the suite with balcony which was very nice, especially the balcony and the view. They are however building a new hotel that will likely block the sea view when finished.
The breakfast was so-so, the Coffe was very strong and milk & suger was hard to find.
The location pretty good, but you have to cross two streets to get to the beach.

海景房是真的！很漂亮，位置也超级好，五分钟步行可以到海边的沙滩，所以有机会看到了还上的日出！
但是洗手间很小，而且即使是三人房，仍然使用了透明的门和墙，导致每次用洗手间都要拉帘子拉很久，很麻烦！介意的话要慎选，另外，前台要求押护照或者500k押金，但最终我强烈要求不可以压护照和没有那么多现金而什么都没押

저희는 비행기시간이 새벽이라
리조트 체크아웃 후 잠깐 짐도맡기고 비행기타기전 시내돌고 샤워하고 가려고 예약했습니다.
반나절이용했는데.
위치는 나쁘지않았고 골목 구석에있습니다.
에어컨은 노후되서 세게틀면 덜덜거렸습니다.
가격대비 아리송하긴한데 저렴한거치고는 넓고
혼자 싸게가거나 남자들끼리가면 나쁘지않은데
가족이가거나 연인이 숙박하기는 좀 그렇슴다.
체크인2시였지만 12시에 체크인해줘서 편했습니다.

在這裹一共住了6晚，酒店在一巷子裹職員英文能力一般。房間尚算清潔整齊，空間足夠WIFI信號良好，環境還算安靜。窗外觀景一般但酒店的地點方便，位於市中心鄰近海灘。工作人員友善早餐不錯款式也多，從酒店走不遠就是夜市和海灘

Normal budget hotel. The hotel is in town and very convenient to go. I am not satisfy the Air-con due to even though I turned the temperature to be 16C, the air came out was hot or warm, I cannot immediately cool down. Also the curtain in the bathroom was suddenly dropped down and made me head injury. Hope they can improve it asap.

酒店位置很好，附近有公車分站，購物中心，景點，很是方便。酒店房間比較細，因附近正在興建大廈，每天早上七時多就有嘈音，直至晚上九時，連星期日也在開工，希望工程完了，環境有所改善。員工態度親切，對維修事宜都很快辦妥。

Bra läge om man vill promenera mycket runt i staden, men mitt bland flera stora byggprojekt så det är väldigt högljutt. Dessutom väldigt tunna ytterväggar så precis allt från gatan hörs väldigt väl. Trevligt rum, rent och en förhållandevis skön säng. Frukosten okej om man gillar mat till frukost, soppa, omelett, ris, vårrullar mm.

I really liked New Sun Hotel's breakfast -waitress were friendly and helpful and food was good. There was enough space in hotel room, bed was great and shower/toilet was modern. Air condition was effective also. BUT...

I woke up every morning very early because of very bad noise reduction of room. There was a super noisy building site near of hotel. People in hotel reception were bored af and didn't really care about us.
Overall, I cannot recommend if you are searching warmly service and atmospheric place to stay.

Assoluta mancanza di accoglienza

Alla reception quando mi hanno chiesto il passaporto non erano convinti della foto. Neanche alla dogana aeroportuale hanno fatto così. Non funzionava la TV, non funzionava la Jacuzzi e il terrazzo al 15 piano era inaccessibile. Reception antipatiche e arroganti. Zero il Mio voto !
