Hotel looks nice, The rooms are average, and amenities are nothing extra ordinary.
Price is due to its great location. Right in the heart of Makati and Poblacion with an active nightlife. Area is very popular with foreigners and expats.

Checking out took a while! Not sure why, my guess is that they had to call housekeeping to make sure the room was not missing anything!!! Although they keep a deposit anyways.

TOWELS: They really do not provide enough towels. I had one or two and repeatedly requested for more towels.

Rooftop: It supposedly has a nice rooftop bar. But when I check it, the outside area with the city views was closed (some nonsense about bad weather). There was only one other patron sitting there indoor and it was really hot, no AC!? It was pathetic because I had ready many positive reviews of the hotel's rooftop bar being a well know place.

Pool: Hotel does have a nice pool which is 1/2 covered which is great for the hot sunny days. It has nice bungalows to use to chill out by the pool, I enjoyed the pool and it is one of its nicest things.

if you are in Manila and want to stay close to the nightlife, this hotel is as good as the other ones nearby.

Hotel Front office staff incredible. Food and Beverage needs work though. The Common Grounds restaurant, staff were in attentive to replenishing food and food was running out. Also restaurant in the lobby level did not have all items in the menu to the point I had to ask what they did have. Hotel needs to make sure that they advise staff immediately of items that are not being served. IM Onsen Spa was AMAZING. Enjoy the TRILOGY PACKAGE and ask for Ronel if you are looking for a Male Therapist. Front desk staff were truly exceptional at the hotel though....very caring and attentive!

This would have been an excellent review marred by some very average service and experience.

We had 13 rooms across 52 nights here and were charged a corkage of $100 for a couple of beers in the pool area (nothing displayed, no one informed us, the first we heard of it was when we wrapped up and left).

The staff asked us to get a police report (no exaggeration) to check the footage of us being informed, we laughed it off and put this down as not worth the effort to follow up.

There are numerous hotels in the vicinity so I'M won't be the top of our list for the next visit. If it's yours, be aware of unwritten rules (hope they add a notice now).

Also, the key card door didn’t work so I was locked out of the room for nearly an hour while waiting for the staff to find the master key and replace the door batteries. If you book a cheaper room like classic room, you’re going to get a better TV that’s smart TV so you can watch Netflix and Amazon prime
If you book a more expensive room like executive suite, you will get an older non-smart TV and cannot watch any Amazon or Netflix
Just another one of the things at this hotel that makes no sense!!!

OK, so I gave this hotel a second chance stayed here in January and there was so many issues.
Other than a great location, they have a nice pool and great rooftop bar with view
But once again, staff, poor organization, poor communication, and the biggest negative at this hotel is the scams they pull with charging you

They quoted me 5000 pesos walk-in yesterday so I stayed the night here and had a 2 PM checkout
This morning I went downstairs and asked if it was possible to stay an extra four hours so from checkout 2 PM to 630 when I had to leave to the airport
They said sure that would be 50% of the daily price
I said that sounds great and very fair. Thank you.
He then said that will be 5000 pesos.
I said yesterday I paid 5000 pesos for the full 24 hours day. You said it was 50% off for only staying here for extra hours.
He explained it’s 50% off their promo rate for the day which was 10,000 double what I paid yesterday
I tried to explain to him all you’re doing is doubling the price of the daily stay to give me 50% off
He could not understand that concept so I asked for manager Paulo same manager I dealt with in January that did absolutely nothing about my many concerns and safety issues
Paulo and I went round and round how I said all you’re doing is doubling the price for stay from 5000 if I walked off the street to 10,000 late check out to give me 50%
Beware of the scams and extra charges this hotel does!!!! better choice in city Garden grand Hotel right across street

Check in took over 2 hours. The key cards would not work, the hotel had to call in someone to change the door mechanism. It took time for the repair person to arrive, and repair. In the meantime, the front desk would not give us another room, we went for dinner and still had to wait in the lobby for over an hour. No other form of compensation was offered, even when asked. Over our 2 day stay, we had to run down to get the key cards reactivated a few times.
The breakfast was fine, room was clean and quite big, but after a 5.5 hour flight (it's 8 pm) you just want to go to your room.

I'd like to start by saying the staff is great. They are very friendly and welcoming. They are quite knowledgeable about the hotel services. The room I stayed in was comfortable. The bed was quite soft and there were 2 bathrooms: 1 toilet & sink, the other shower, tub, & sink. The AC is quite cold as well as the pool water. The bar service at the pool was great. The room size is perfect for two people. The location is great if you like to go out for drinks or coffee.
I was quite annoyed by housekeeping. While the service was great & I know they worked har, I had a do not disturb sign on my door and housekeeping called me more times than days I stayed in the hotel to tell me, remind me, advise me that housekeeping services end at 5pm. At 1pm, I don't need a reminder as I also received the same notice under my door.
The room showed some signs of wear that was hidden behind the bathroom blinds.
The room only comes with 2 large towels. I asked for 2 smaller towels for hand drying and face washing. They were never replaced.
I like to try different hotels when I stay in Manila. I won't return to I'm Hotel. The hotel that shares the building is great though.

The room was beautiful, but there was a blood stain on the pillow. We used the toothbrush and toothpaste provided, but when house keeping came in they threw these out and didn't replace with new ones. Overall the hotel was nice, but due to these things I would not say they are a 5 star hotel. 4 star maybe.

The only place to stay! I stayed here for one night and it was wonderful.
The staff is amazing - very welcoming, professional, and genuinely happy.

Short Stay Approved - Not enough time to really explore the hotel, it's very clean overall and fairly centrally located to the action in the area within walking distance. Spacious room, more on the modern feel, doesn't feel outdated, I don't recall how frequent room service was, but the big downside is the 1 beach towel in the bathroom... not sure if you need to request more towels and will receive them. Pool area looked good but only up there to take a few photos. Elevators feel a little congested and slow - again, for a 2-3 day stay you're gonna be fine, longer than that I can't say if it's better or not.

It has the facilities of a 5 star
The rooms are very 5 star

BUT there are issues that bring it down..

- Check-in / Check out
There are hoards of staff working on the front desk waiting to help, all very helpful - yet it regularly takes upto 45mins to check in

This is not smooth, it’s annoying, it’s unnecessary and the hotel is well aware of this and they have done absolutely nothing to improve their systems - This is NOT 5 star service

They take a cash or electronic deposit payment instead of a card reading as room security
This has yet to be returned to my account after 2 weeks, it’s common to take deposits like this in Philippines but a 5 star hotel would have moved past this approach by now
It means waiting in reception while a room inspection is conducted before leaving
If you’re checking out in a rush for an early flight this is a big inconvenience and all of it completely avoidable by a hotel that cares about its customers experience

I’d start here again, but I’d happily stay elsewhere too

- The Elevators
They have a mind of their own
It’s very annoying, it’s slow, it’s clunky - it’s not 5 star

- There is a smell of Damp around many corridors and in some rooms

Everything was great except for the toilet issue. We had to call front desk 5X to come fix the toilet issue (it wasn’t flushing). The day we check in till the next day we had issues with the toilet. We had to go downstairs in the lobby to use the toilet. Finally the next day, they moved us to another room.
It’s a little annoying that I have to keep asking for certain things replaced every time they clean the room. Such as towels, soaps, coffee, tissue etc.
For being a 5 star hotel. I’m a little disappointed.

The king studio room was well equipped with high ceilings, abundant space, and spectacular views. I enjoyed the breakfast bar with plenty of asian, western and healthy options. Explored the rooftop bar for even more nighttime views. Pool was on a noisy level but I liked the clear bottom feature, it was a standout. The front desk was very attentive and I even enjoyed a complimentary 2pm check-out. Would recommend if you're consider I'm Hotel!

I would have given this hotel 5 stars, however I strongly disagree with the policy requiring staff to personally cover the cost when an invoice isn’t provided. And the fact that you tape this sign at each front desk monitor for guests to see is a terrible reflection on management and not the employees:

\"ASK FOR INVOICE If we don't hand you an invoice, your order/service is free. Our staff will be accountable for covering the cost.\"

Holding employees financially responsible for missing invoices is unfair and unacceptable. Policies should support staff—not threaten their wages. This creates fear, not accountability.

Nice upmarket hotel, with great facilities. The room was large and very upmarket, with a great view of the city from the floor I was on. The staff were friendly and helpful and the selection at breakfast was broad. I was a little disappointed with the choices available at rooftop bar, and decided to go elsewhere. The local area is very lively and may not be wholly safe, but if you stick to the main streets it should be OK. I had no problems.

The check in wasn’t the best. There is a led light that automatically comes on and off all night without the ability to turn it off. There is no bottled water in the room and you are given some substandard jug to get water from a filter up the corridor. I’ve stayed here before and it was much better than it was this time.

the humidity INSIDE the hotel was off the charts, all of my clothing the bedding the towels (which they would not provide more than 2 per room) we CONSTANTLY damp throughout my stay. And there was a mold/mildew smell in the halls and the room. I live on the road as a digital nomad and basically live in hotels and Airbnb's and I amost never write reviews but this was so awful that I feel compelled. A tiny window that can be propped open to deafening traffic noise in a desperate attempt \"air it out\" did not help matters. Gross. I got sick from the mod for an entire week.

Unsafe, hostile, and predatory. Avoid.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Front desk and door staff acted like guards, not hosts—openly rude from check-in to check-out. The room’s large blinds collapsed onto me, leaving a bruise on my shoulder; no apology, no help. Staff then refused to let my partner leave until I checked out, and tried to charge 9,000 pesos for what they called a “small stain” on the sheets.

As a business owner, I hate leaving reviews that could hurt a business—and this is the first bad hotel review I’ve ever written. I travel a lot, and this ranks at the bottom. Spend your money elsewhere.

1. The AC in the room was really loud.
2. The “king” bed was just two beds pushed together. I could feel the seam in the middle.
3. WiFi was unusable due to my room being at the end of the hall.
4. The Churros and pizza I ordered were really doughy and barely edible.
5. I tried the breakfast buffet the first morning and got there kind of late (about 15 minutes before last order, 30 minutes before closing). As I was trying to find a seat I noticed every table was dirty. All the staff were just standing around. Finally one of the staff runs up to me and asks “Where do you want to sit? I will clean it for you.”

Hotel is very convenient. Check in was good but the deposits are crazy. They should run a dollar than running the amount of 2000pesos a day on hold till your departure. I opted to give cash and they hold it as a deposit.

The spa needs to work on procedures and know what they are selling. I was not happy with my facial of 3000 pesos....I have had better at the Mall of Asia for less the cost.

We enjoyed the stay, the rooftop restaurant view was great but we sat at our table forever before we got a waiter and the choice of music playing was horrible, more for a younger crowd of people in their early 20's and it was far to loud. Play something with an older crowd which is typically the age of your guest. The music should be just loud enough to hear but not drown out conversation like your in a nightclub.

Don't understand the logic of asking you to wait while housekeeping checks your room after you check out. This process can take 5min or more. Reception would usually proceed to serve other guests and doesn't update you unless you specifically ask if you can leave. Shower Gel and Shampoo are provided in tiny little plastic squeeze tubes. They should provide them in refillable dispensers if they are really concerned about sustainability. Smiles from staff are rare...

The rooms are nice but long and not wide. The restaurant on the first floor was okay but you really need to go out for good food. The hotels staff was ok with the exception of the front staff manager going back and forth between allowing and not allowing a manicure and pedicure service provider from entering the hotel. This was scheduled for my parents and because of the manager it didn’t happen. Please note that the hotel spa does not perform this type of service. Other than that it was okay.
