Hotel was great and right at the top of the stairs to the old city. My only complaint is they did not have a pool. The staff said we could use the pool at their other property for free but then charged me 20 euros per person for hotel transportation to and from their other property at checkout. In total it cost 80 euros for 4 people so we could use the pool at their other resort. They did not mention the cost of that transportation until checkout. 👎

The Hotel is a walking distance from the town and has a sister Hotel by the beach that is available with a free shuttle to the guests. The staff was amazing in accommodating all our needs and helping us plan our days. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again when we go back to Mykonos

This was the highlight of our trip. We booked their sister hotel in town and were upgraded to this hotel. The room and facilities were great. I would have enjoyed the pool and ocean, except for injury prior to trip preventing swimming. The breakfast was amazing and the service great. My husband and I hope we have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

There was no AC which was listed on their website. The hotel seemed very old and like dorm rooms. Our room was so small we could not fit our luggage. The breakfast was atrocious. I will never stay there again and I would recommend that nobody stay at this hotel.

A wonderful stay. Nikos and Lefteri were perfect hosts. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed. The rooftop decks have a nice view over the harbor with many comfortable loungers. The hotel is a very short walk from the main areas of Mykonos Town with many close (five minutes max) restaurants.

The town rises off the harbor and the property is on that hill. It's not very high and I do not agree with the previous reviewer about the stairs. There aren't many and they are >very< broad so the slope isn't great. I think it's a great tradeoff for the great rooftop view.

Excellent service!!! Letters & Nikos are absolutely lovely and extremely friendly. Anything we needed, they provided. They felt like family. My husband and I traveled with our two teenage daughters for the first time to Greece. Mykonos was our first stop. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to be very close to all the shopping, restaurants and nightlife, BUT, there are ALOT of stairs to get to hotel and walk up and down to town. This hotel is NOT good for little kids or anyone w mobility issues. I did not know this when we booked the hotel and our driver from the airport was not familiar w our hotel so we were dropped off in town with 4 large pieces of luggage that my poor husband had to carry up all the stairs to hotel. So pack light! Or call hotel before you arrive so they can arrange transportation. If you are dropped off on main road where they have a small gate to hotel but still must walk down a little , then it’s much easier. Rooftop sunset view is breathtaking. No pool at this hotel but you are able to go to the larger sister resort hotel - Petasos Beach resort hotel and there they have an incredible pool and private beach you get access to. Highly recommend. Beautiful, clean and great service.

We highly recommend this property. It’s well situated within a short walking distance from the beach and shopping with many nice restaurants bars and cafes around. The staff is helpful and courteous. Giovanni (Joe) is kind, super helpful knowledgeable and always has a warm and friendly smile to go with his charming personality. Costas is more serious however he too is very kind helpful and welcoming. They both are super professional. The breakfast is good with a variety of delicious Greek edibles.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Costas at the front desk is great and very friendly. The room was very nice and we went for a beach day at the sister resort. The only issue was when we were leaving we asked one of the receptionists at the front desk to help us call a taxi. He obliged and confirmed with us that it would be 26 euros total and the car would arrive in 20 minutes. We got in the cab and drove 5 minutes to the port and the driver told us we owed 55 euros. When we said we were confused because the receptionist had said it would be 26 the driver showed us a text he received from the receptionist saying our names and that we would pay 55 euros. That was very sketchy and I feel a little swindled.

You also get the sea view from this hotel but its from the hotel balcony upstairs and not your own room. The hotel is right next to the city centre and hence many options nearby.

I must say that the breakfast was really good and the staff were really polite and friendly however the room condition wasn't ideal as there were some hazard. The tap of the bath was a really hazard exactly under the shower in a way that was where we are suppose to stand for shower. My partner hurt himself with the tap entering the into the bath, which left him with a cut and bruises. Another hazard we the window also in the toilet where could easily hurt someone's head while showering. A hotel should look for hazards in the rooms to avoid guests to be injured. We inform at the reception and the person at the reception said that he never heard any complaining however I doubt we were the first ones to spot that the tap is exactly where a person should stand to have a shower. Another down point of the hotel is the toilet paper. I paid more than £200 for a night in this hotel and the toilet paper was the worst ever.

the staff were great, very helpful, nice and professional. they did everything to make us feel comfortable. they have a resort on the other side of town (close to scorpios) with a pool and spa and a nice restaurant and etc. there's a shuttle that can take you.
the rooms were tiny, we were 3 people - there was a back patio which was nice. the view from the building is great. it's close to everything in the town center and the road.

Amazing, would stay again.

When we arrived George was at the front desk to meet us. He was great for our entire stay. The hotel was clean and the wifi was strong. There is a rooftop terrace with nice sun chairs and a beautiful view of Mykonos Town and the sunset. Just down the hill was an area with shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The breakfast as the hotel was the most expansive we had on our entire trip (fruit and yogurt, bacon and eggs, local delicacies).
To get back to the hotel there are a few (50-100) stairs but they are wide and there are areas to rest if you want. The hotel is also on a small scooter path, which can be loud when people are coming or going but is otherwise in a quiet area.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Amazing view of the old port from the terrace and some of the rooms. Our shower window even has the best view of the old port! Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Room is very nice, modern, clean, comfortable and plenty of storage room. Great breakfast buffet with many delicious options and a beautiful outdoor patio. Be prepared for a lot of exercising with climbing up stairs and hills to the hotel and all over the island. The climb is worth the view! A wonderful perk is visiting the pool at their sister hotel, Petasos Beach Resort. They offer a shuttle in the morning and back in the afternoon or you can take the local bus.

Panos at the front desk was lovely, very accommodating and friendly. However, there were only 2 electrical outlets in the entire room, so it made it difficult to charge phones, use curling irons, etc... with 2 people.

Nice hotel with a good location

The hotel was easy to find and in a good location for wandering the town of Mykonos. It was also nice that there was a sister hotel which had a free shuttle so that the guests could enjoy the pool and private “beach”. However the staff were a bit rude and seemed eager to get us to leave once we were checked out. They also were not helpful with information about buses or taxis.

Lastly. The walls are thin.

Overall a good experience

Overall, it was a good experience...location was close to being in the middle of everything, which is both good and bad (see below for bad). The hotel itself is very nicely done. The staff, very good and attentive. The bad: the hotel is located on one of the small streets where a good number of the employees of all the bars, restaurants, etc... of the town park their scooters and walk in to town...this is loud throughout the day as those little scooters are terribly loud. Besides that, the location was a positive. One other thing to keep in mind, when booking this hotel on hotels.com you click through the pictures and see a nice swimming pool, floor plan of the hotel, etc... The pool and the floor plan of the hotel are not for the Petasos Town Hotel but rather the Petasos Resort & Spa, which is about 20 minutes away. Now, you do have free access to use the pool, etc... at the Resort and Spa (including a free shuttle bus ride to/from the resort), which was nice but we booked the hotel and arrived thinking that the pool we saw in the pictures were at our hotel, which is not the case. Another issue is that there seems to be only one person cleaning rooms, which means that there were delays getting in to rooms, which isn't usually a problem for us but we now have a young toddler and not having access to the room gets a little tricky.

Loved our stay! Only complaint is the shower head. Should be pointed downward, but instead hit the wall at a strange angel resulting in unsatisfying shower. Unadjustable. Otherwise, room was clean, staff was great!

Loved this hotel and loved mykonos

Lovely hotel in the heart of Mykonos with a very pleasant staff member Kristoph/Chris who really went out of his way to make the stay perfect. The hotel is spotless and has a lovely roof top area to sit out. The breakfast was great too and the room very comfortable and quiet (ask for one not facing the street as otherwise you'll hear motorbikes and people). I used the hotel shuttle to get to and from the port - well worth it as otherwise you'd have to drag luggage up cobbled streets and steep steps from the bus station to the hotel. if I get a chance to visit mykonos again, I'll definitely return to this hotel.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect! Very close to Old Mykonos Town, great view from their terrace.
They also offer a shuttle and the opportunity to spend the day at their sister Hotel, Petasos Beach resort and spa, which was absolutely amazing. The staff there was also very friendly and prompt. They should advertise this perk since it was such a pleasant surprise. We spent one day there (a more luxurious hotel) without extra cost, treated like royalty, with great views, ocean to swim in, infinity pool overseen the ocean... What else can we ask for?
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay at a nice affordable place.

The hotel was clean but sparse in decoration. Breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately it was very loud with lots of outside noise, mopeds etc but being that it is in town one should expect this. Nice feature of the stay was the ability to use the Petasos Beach Resort which had great amenities and a free shuttle is offered. Unfortunately our room's air conditioning did not work so we were very uncomfortable during our stay.

Perfect location and attention to details by staff

Located right downtown, close to shops, restaurants, bars and beach.
Staff are very attentive to details. We were able to get late check out, they even let us shower at the end of the day before taking our flight. Breakfast brunch is filled with diversity and good food. The room and hotel were clean. They even offer for free, shuddle services to the Petasos spa resort that you can enjoy the pool, views, gym, etc. for free.
Would come back tomorrow :-)

The hotel location was wonderful, with great views over the crater, The rooms were stacked up the hill and just behind were the shopping lanes. We were just down from the busier lanes so it was less hectic and quieter. But the shopping lanes and restaurants, and fast food were right there starting 50 ' from the top rooms. there are steps, though. the hotel office/lobby are the lowest, our room Daphne was up at least 30 steps and the top suite was around 100 steps, but maybe 15 steps below the shopping lane that traverses the top of the crater from the church up to the cable cars. Great central location!. To get to the main traffic street takes about 5 minutes on declining steps and walkways. taxi and bus stations are about 4 blocks down main street. The staff was very helpful in arranging transfers and map advice. Some rooms are 2 levels so expect bathrooms on separate level from beds.

Petasos Town Hotel is a nice retreat in Mykonos town. A challenge to find at first, it is stairway walk up a hill from a prominent square. Lots of boutique shops around. Rooms are bright and clean. Friendly staff.

Perfect hospitality with ideal location

Great little hotel, with very nice staff. The location is perfect for walking through the town yet not stuck right along the noisy streets.
The shuttle to the sister resort, Petasos Beach Resort, was amazing. We made use of the pool facilities, spa, and amazing view from this location. There is a beach a short walk away that is full of restaurants, although the beach itself is fairly crowded with beds and umbrellas.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Mykonos town, only 2 minutes walk down to the seaside restaurants and shops. Our room was facing a motorbike parking on the street so was quite noisy. Bathroom looked tired though clean. The hotel has a beautiful roof terrace with views over the port and you could also see the windmills! Wi-fi only works in the reception area and on the roof terrace.
Once a day the hotel organised a visit to their sister hotel in Platis Gialos which is a 5 star hotel so be prepared to spend double for food and drinks. Very nice hotel with top service but for us it got a bit boring after a few hours so we hit the beach which was only 10 meters away.
On our last day we needed a transport to the port but were told since we didn't book in advance that wasn't possible (even though the night before we mentioned we will need it and were told there won't be a problem). There were no taxis that we could book as there are only 30 of them on the whole island. So we and a few other guests ended up waiting around after checking out for a taxi that might or might not be available! In the end we arranged our own transport.

Very quaint hotel with very helpful staff. When checking in, they gave a very descriptive introduction to Mykonos and all the places to visit and recommended restaurants without being prompted. Hotel is located right above the main harbor and easily accessed by a short walk. Breakfast was just fine and sufficient. Rooms are typical European with the bed consuming 80% of the room and a tiny shower (I'm 6'6\", so most showers are tiny). There was a small balcony for relaxing in the evening. Upon our departure (5:15 AM!), they prepared some coffee and food for us. Very thoughtful. We used the access to their partner hotel at the beach for two days, which was fantastic. I would return again if visiting Mykonos.

Stayed for 4 nights in July 2015. Booked early to avoid the crazy last minute prices that are charged in Mykonos. The hotel is very central Mykonos town but is easy to get to from the main road on a bike or quad, with an area to park outside. The hotel is relatively basic ie no pool/gym/restaurant etc as are a lot of the hotels here. However, guests have free use of the Petasos beach hotel (free daily 15min bus) which is a resort spa hotel, we did this every day.. Loved it. The town hotel as a nice roof terrace for watching the sunset and also nice outside area for breakfast. Overall a really nice stay. Final word, the reception staff (mainly the guy who's name we forgot but seemed to be there all day every day!) were super friendly and helpful, really couldn't do enough. Would return !

This is the best hotel in Mykonos. Very friendly and considerate staff, good breakfast, clean room and an attractive, spacious balcony where we viewed the best sunset in life. On our late night arrival at the hotel, we even received a welcome with champagne! Everyone should consider this hotel first if you go to Mykonos.

Only a short walk to Mykonos Town

The customer service at this hotel is outstanding. Everyone is super friendly and more than willing to go above and beyond. The location is a very convenient walk to the Mykonos town. Trying to find the hotel can be a little tough as it's tucked away behind some lengthy steps from town or a little alley from the roadside.

The hotel offers a shuttle at around 10am every day to their sister property that's right on the water. You get access to all of that hotels facilities, pools, and private beach. The only downside is the once a day pickup and drop off however the public bus is available if you can figure out the transportation system.

Overall it was a great place to stay with friendly staff and an easy walk to town.
