When we arrived we were dropped off at a corner and needed to walk the rest of the way because you could not drive through those streets. The place was older but nice and clean. It had a nice patio where you can see the water and Mykonos Town. The room had a loft where one of my sons slept. It is a low roof so however if you get up at night and forget that you may get a bump on your head. The AC was cold which was great since it was the summer and very warm. Lots of shops and restaurants all over the place within a few minutes of a walk. We never met anyone from the staff but they came through for us when we needed a ride back to the port. Definitely a place worth staying.

Madres Houses had everything we needed for a group of 5! The location is excellent, right in the heart of town. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace and loved how walkable the area is. Less than 5 minutes to reach the harbour. Plenty of shops and restaurants just steps away. The host was helpful and responsive.

Anna (and Bella) were most kind assisting us and providing first rate service. The bed and pillows most comfortable. Bathroom/showers and the apartment in general; were spotless/clean. Every convenience is within a 10 minute walk (at most). For better eating choices ( and less $), We suggest to go the area near Open Amphitheater near Kalogera Street. This was the perfect location and unit size for our group of 4. We were 2 couples traveling together and there was more than enough space for all of us. There was many shops and restaurants just short walk away. Our host Anna was super attentive to our needs and answered all our questions. Location, Confort and Views

First, Anna make sure our arrival and check-in was very smooth. The apartment was great, we enjoyed very much. Clean, spacious, excellents amenities. The kitchen has everything we need to cook our breakfast every day! Also the doble balcony one with the view of the street in the living room and the other in the rooftop, this one was our favorite spot to relax with a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing with sea,sunset and town views, we love it! It was centrally located, to all of the atractions. We love the neighborhood, very quiet specially at night. You will find restaurants along the street to eat. The apartment has separate air conditioning one in the living room and the other in the bedroom.The communication with Anna the property manager was excellent from the day we book the place she was in contact with me. She told me which of the many apartment they have will be the one I will staying, send me photos. All my questions were answered promptly. If I have to go back I will not hesitate to rent it again and I definitely recomend it! Thanks Anna!

Mykonos adventures at Madres

Madres House is located exactly as it says in the heart ❤ of Mykonos whether you go down to the Old Port and wish to shop, visit the Windmills, popular restaurants, cool bars, local places to eat, watch movies - its super close. If you walk up you will find amazing views from known restaurants like 180, a mircro brewery named Minou. The owner Anna is ALWAYS attentive and availabe and has the best tips. As a solo traveler I had a blast and I would recommend it if you travel with friends or family too. They room (really like a studio apt) has all you need to make a meal if you feel like it and its super clean. I really can't finish describing what a great time I had in Mykonos because of their attentions, I will return for sure.

Location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town and walking distance to all that it offers. Staff are lovely and were attentive when we needed them. It's expensive for what you get - but then again, Mykonos is expensive in general! The pictures were somewhat misleading when we were booking - we were shown to a room that could just fit the bed and had no kitchenette as advertised. Staff were great and relocated us to a different apartment which had much more space but unfortunately was still not what we had anticipated, a hotplate does not suffice as a kitchenette. Overall though, it's a great spot to be based for a stay in Mykonos once you're not intending to spend much time in the room itself.

Cute home, great location, short walk to town

Cute room that can sleep up to 5. Beautiful view over Mykonos, great location, short walk to harbor and dining and shops. Was difficult carrying water back and forth up all the stairs, no washing machine or clothes line, no plug for the sink. One bed wasn’t made and wasn’t overally clean.
We had great help carrying suitcases down the stairs to our room on arrival.

There are rather a few steps to lug your case to and from the apartment beware
The apartment itself is very small basic/rustic but has a certain charm. Bathroom is very small but shower is good. Beds were very comfortable

It was a lovely stay! We had a very convenient terrace with a nice view over the Greek White House’s and the sea, the property was as big (or a bit more) as in pictures, it had two floors so that also gives some privacy for the guests. The cleaning was good, the lady doing the cleaning was very nice too. The contact with the host was easy, we were allowed to leave our luggage early while the cleaning was still in progress. The property is in a classic Greek street, 2 minutes walking distance from the shop streets & restaurants, which was very convenient, but our street was quiet and calm, which was really nice for peace. I recommend it!

Può andare bene per un paio di notti, non per un soggiorno più lungo. Stanza doppia minuscola e quasi senza arredi, nemmeno una mensola in bagno. Bagno piccolissimo. Probabilmente sono migliori le stanze più grandi. Struttura pulita, ma la nostra stanza aveva un forte odore di muffa.
