I came to the hotel to find NO ONE around to check me in.

Before I arrived I was told to notify the hotel of my estimated arrival. I messaged the hotel 2-3 times and had no reply. My flight had been delayed significantly so by time I reached Santorini my battery was very low. Once I got to the hotel, it was completely dark and no one was around to greet me. This was around 10:30pm. I had less than 10% battery.

At this point I was panicked. I called the number I found through Expedia. No answer to multiple calls. I left a message as well. After 20 mins a random couple who just so happened to be staying 2 nights like myself, turned up! I was incredibly relieved as I don't know what I would've done with no internet and no battery. We all searched the office for the hotel (which was completely opened) and were amazed to find that someone's ID was in there, free for the taking. As well as various keys and valuables. At this point I cant believe that this is happening...we eventually find a number we call and it reaches the host and he very calmly says hes coming to check us in.

He was a very nice guy and at this point I was too tired and fed up to appear very angry. But this kind of check in is completely unacceptable. I was only waiting 45 mins or so altogether but the panic I felt was so unpleasant afrer a day of traveling and a flight delayed by nearly 3 hours. He upgrades me to a room with a jacuzzi but I never used it.

A very nice hotel, but the start affected my stay.

The suite was absolutely beautiful and so clean . The receptionist was so helpful and kind . We loved our personal pool . Only cons I can say is I wish it had a microwave in room and not so many steps to get up to nanos it was hard on my daughter who has asthma

Amazing, unique property with beautiful views and a couple of great restaurants within walking distance. A little difficult to find and definitely a climb but well worth it. So glad we stayed here!

Great room. Great service

Demitris was lovely. He carried my suitcase up the cobbled steps for me. The room was clean and the air con worked perfectly. I was in room 6 which was like a cave. There was a jacuzzi in the room, I didn’t use it as the water was on the cooler side for me - which would suit those who run hot and want to cool off out of the sun. I had Greek scrambled eggs for breakfast which was delicious. A great restaurant mexitaxi is not far - 5 mins walk max (it is uphill). Beautiful views and you can see the planes going in and out of the airport. The WiFi in my room didn’t work, but I didn’t need it as had data. Demistris was happy to try and fix it but I was only there one night so didn’t bother.

Loved this quiet, clean, beautiful spot! After exploring the busier parts of the island, I loved coming back to the Nano Suites. Beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, wonderful employees that made our stay even better with great advice and help with all transportation needs. Breakfast was delicious!

I loved nano suites and the staff! They were all so friendly and helpful. I don’t know what I would have done without the help of Dimitry(manager). He helped me with getting taxis. Eri (helped with checkout and suggestions for transportation. Lina( made me breakfast every morning! It was delicious:) Ali helped me with my super late night check in and luggages. I loved how quiet and clean this place was. My room was perfect! The only thing is, I think I should have rented a car! Taking the bus was fun but the walk from my room to the main road was quite the hike! Lol. Over all, I would love to come back to Greece soon. What a beautiful place:)

The property was absolutely gorgeous and our room was amazing! We booked the suite with a plunge pool. The room was clean and beautifully presented. The only slight disappointment was that the plunge pool was quite cold, but the weather was very cold while we were there. We opted for breakfast on our 2nd day and it was very tasty. There was a main as well as pastries and fresh fruit, making it excellent value for money. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

A very nice and accommodating property. Excellent staff at the hotel. A very nice breakfast offering. Quiet and peaceful location just a short drive from most places. The walk from the road to the hotel could do with more lighting for the night time but was ok for us. Recommended place for sure - the staff do make this place extra special. Thanks

This property was very quaint and unique. I have never stayed anywhere like this before. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was kind of out of the way and difficult to get to but I’m thinking this may be true wherever you stay in Santorini.

The view was great as was the breakfast. Cave room was interesting. However the pool in our room was too cold to use which was hugely disappointing. The shower water temperature was also chilly. Glad we had a car. Place is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as you cannot drive right to the hotel. Closest parking is a minute walk away but very steep.

Reserved room wa unavailable. We used the Nano because of it proximity to a family reunion. A hotel change was unacceptable. Receptionist was rude, abusive and insulting. She should find employment outside of the service industry. The maintenance guy, Ali, however was a prince and almost had us ready to agree to the change until The reception person , Anastasia showed up and totally blew up the situation. Very limited interpersonal skills if any.

The Greek people in general have perfected the art of hospitality. Nano suites, however, took it to an entirely different level. Anastasia, the manager/hostess extraordinaire, was so accommodating and helpful. She arranged everything for us. From rides to and from the ferry, to a rental car, to a catamaran cruise. It felt like no request was out of bounds. She was pereptually pleasant and enthusiastic.
Ali, bless him, carried our rather cumbersome bags up and down Santorini's seemingly unending stairs as if he were exerting the effort it takes to open a bottle of wine.
The grounds were immaculate, the room perfect, the pool and its view unparalleled.
Oh and the breakfast service and its host were also amazing.

The Nano Suites was a beautiful experience. We were only sad that we stayed one night. The property is beautiful but not easily accessible with suitcases as it’s away from the main road. The staff were lovely to deal with when they are around. The sign said they were available until 5 pm but the office was locked and no one there at 4 pm. They were easily contactable through What’s app though. It was definitely and short and sweet stay. The Resturant recommended for us to go to was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our last dinner in Greece.

I like the friendliness of the staffs. Anastasia and Ali was really good at their job, always smiling and ready to help. The place was nice, very nice view from the terrace, relaxing pool and the room that we got was great! However, transportation wise. If you want to go to Fira or Oia by bus from Nano Suites, just be ready to lose a lot of calories because it's a lot of walking uphill and downhill. Otherwise if you have car it's more convenient for you.

Anastasia was fantastic! She messaged me immediately after booking to confirm our stay and arrange for help with our luggage. She showed us the property and took our order for breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed breakfast on the upper terrace with a breathtaking view of the town below. Our beautiful room was carved into a cave with separate caverns for a large plunge pool and the bathroom. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying on the island. Anastasia and Ali make you feel so welcome and were extremely helpful in making our stay a relaxing and enjoyable time!

Lovely spot and a sweet little place to stay. It is a fair walk down a pedestrian track to get to the hotel which was a surprise as my wife had a mobility issue. Don't book if that is an issue. However, they did carry the bags down so make sure you have the phone number and use their car service from the airport also

Memorable Stay!

This hotel is absolutely breathtaking! A HUGE THANKS to Dimitri and Maria and the rest of the staff! They were so accommodating with all our needs. Dimitri even helped us when we needed a few items from the market. The morning breakfast was so delicious and plentiful with so much to choose from. I must say being in good health will help a lot with walking up and down the stairs to your suite. Dimitri and other staff were very helpful though. He arranged all of our reservations. The suites were so beautiful with the hot tub which we enjoyed nightly. You can even step out of your suite to watch the sun rise and set! I told everyone about this wonderful hotel and will definitely return in the future

A little gem of a place

A little gem of a place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds. Although the access is along a cobbled path we were met at the taxi drop off point by the manager who kindly assisted us with our bags. We were warmly welcomed with chilled glasses of water and a traditional dessert before even checking in. Lovely views, superb breakfasts and Dimitris the manager could not have been more helpful. From organising port picks up and airport drop offs, taxis and recommendations. Our room had loads of personality and was very comfortable with an excellent shower room.

Incredible Hospitality!

One of the best hotels we have stayed at! The hospitality of the staff was unmeasurable. Anything that was needed was provided and/or information/recommendations given. They assisted us in our car rental booking that was brought to the hotel and booked our massages. The location is located pretty much in the middle to south part of the island but the drive to major areas is no more than 20 minutes. A car rental is definitely recommended. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit the island.
