We got our welcome drink (prosecco) warm. Next day, we went to the bar and got white wine which was also warm. Drying rack in our bathroom didn't work. Otherwise the hotel is nice, good location and friendly staff, but at the end it is about the details which were not that great :(

Such a low level is not suitable for hotels.com

We were 2 adult, and 1 child. We got the room with one king size bed, so there are no bed for our child.
Their offer was to give an additional single room, so we need to be separated. This is not acceptable, of course, but we cannot do nothing… In addition, the air conditioning does not work in these three days. So, this was terrible weekend.

The hotel is really good, we certainly recommend. Very friendly staff (specially at the restaurant), which I have to say it is not usual in CZ. They were very thoughtful leaving us a welcoming note and providing a nice fluffy teddy bear for my son to play during the stay. I have to mention also the free welcome drink, very nice. Comfortable bed an good quality sheets. Full of amenities. Fully automated, both room amenities and check-in and check-out process, which is very interesting and practical. Delicious food at the restaurant with honest prices. Good breakfast.

Revitalized older building close to downtown

We stayed in Liberec while trying to track down ancestors from the mid-1800's. This hotel was conveniently located near downtown, but not so close as to make it impossible to get in and out. The hotel does have paid parking in a lot just across the street. We arrived Sunday night and the reception desk said we could just park on the street overnight. The room was European in size, with enough room between the wall and the end of the beds for one person to pass only. Couldn't get the HVAC system to respond effectively, so just opened the windows to control room temperature. Perhaps a little too trendy with automated LED lights and curtains. The lights actually came on at 2AM, but did shut off on their own. A short walk down the hill provides plenty of dining and shopping opportunities. The hotel restaurant had a very good breakfast as well. The hotel worked fine for what we needed.

The staff was outstanding, the rom was immaculately kept, the breakfast was wonderful, and adjacent parking was abundant, affordable and secure. We were upgraded to a \"designer\" room. Although it was large with excellent bedding and bathroom, the layout was a little quirky. If the designer had spent a week living in the room as we did, she might have decided on a more convenient layout. But overall we were very pleased.

Suits those preferring design to functionality

The room was great and the breakfast even better! You could even make your own apple and carrot juice, something I’ve not seen in another Czech hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator was a bit annoying as there was only one for the hotel and most of the time the cleaners seemed to be using it!

The only issue we had was dodgy electrics in the room. The remote control for the curtains never worked so reception told us to just open and close them manually. The ceiling lights would periodically go on and off independently of each other. The disco style coloured lights round the TV decided to come on on two occasions after we’d fallen asleep ensuring we woke up in the middle of the night.

The room was designed based on designer needs rather than user needs from my perspective, but was comfortable and good enough for us!

We spent one week here, using Liberec as a base for exploring the city, hiking in the mountains around it, and visiting nearby cities and sites as well. We booked one of the so-called designer room, which I highly recommend. Our corner room was spacious and quiet. Views from the hotel are not spectacular.

Service, however, was another thing. Many of the hotel stuff we came across were defensive and not willing to help. There was something very rigid in the type of responses we got (usually a \"no\"), and even positive responses were given reluctantly. Are local calls made from the room free? \"yes.\" Ask the same question the following day, and it is \"no\". Can someone help us book a spa appointment in Czech? \"no, that should speak English at the spa.\" Of course they didn't - we tried. Unhelpful and curt - that's the reception for you.

Room cleaning was another issue: during our one week stay, amenities were never replenished (we bought our own soap), carpet never vacuumed, and we found out that the wine and water glasses were cleaned in the bathroom sink, not replaced with fresh ones. Poor customer service.

Breakfast was the same every morning. Vegetarians beware - it's all about meat here. Vegans - forget about it. The first morning I dared ask for an omelet - the evil looks I received were enough to dissuade me from asking for anything special in subsequent mornings.

If I did not injure myself in one of the design rooms on the 3rd floor I would have given a higher rate to this property. The problem is the step front of the bathtub which is very dangerous. This deck should be removed in every single designed room because of potential guests may fall hitting against the edge of the bathtub as it happened to me. Other then that the hotel is good, staff very helpful with tasty breakfast.

I would look else where for stay.

Ac didn't work in the entire hotel. Alot of traffic noise. Had to sleep with the window open just to cool off the room. Very small for the superior room that was booked. Parking across the street kind of a pain to move luggage over train tracks to get to hotel. Nothing close to hotel. Outside appearance was nice but not like the surrounding area very run down. Breakfast was good. Clean and modern common area.

A very modern hotel in the heart of the city

The hotel is virtually in the centre of the city and it is particularly convenient when you come by train. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful. However, there is slightly too much technology on the one hand.The room is fitted with several sets of lights which go off indepedently in the middle of the night. On the other hand the satellite dish seems to be wobbly as the TV mostly provides shaky pictures.
Also, the hotel likes a constant hum of music which becomes very loud at the weekend.
We also had a slight problem with the service, but I suppose that everybody forgets and it probably does not happen on the regular basis.

On our first morning we were woken by reception at 4.20am and told we had booked an alarm call for that time - we hadn't, we don't book alarm calls. the room we were in had only 1 shelf in the wardrobe for all clothes that didn't belong on hangers - not enough for people staying 5 nights. We were told that the Nespresso machine would be removed to free up another shelf - it wasn't. When we arrived the control for the plug in the bath was broken and resting on the side of the bath so we couldn't close the plug to have a bath that night - it was repaired the next day. Despite the room being serviced each day the floor was either not vacuumed or the vacuum cleaner was not at all efficient. The beds were very comfortable and the self service breakfast was very good.

Great value for money, best luxury stay around!

Most hotels in the area are simple and basic. This hotel offers design interiors, good large beds and luxury bathrooms. Breakfast is very good too. Staff is professional and kind and the hotel car park is convenient and not overpriced. Location is downtown as well as conveniently close to the highway. All in all, the best hotel in the region in my opinion.

The Pytloun Grand Hotel Imperiál was an excellent choice for our initial hotel for our 18 day trip to Eastern Europe. We were very tired after our flight from Texas to Berlin and the drive to Liberec. The hotel was easy to find after we realized we had gone too far into the city center from the highway. The service at the front desk was excellent, the room was great and breakfast very good. The cost for that level of return was of course the best part. We would gladly return again should we be in that part of the Czech Republic

Not bad hotel but not for English spoken people

Reception girl doesn't speak English good one day asked for clothes dryer answered they didn't have one the last day we ask other worker answered they can help we try ours ski clothes for free. Some of the lights weren't working in the room reports to reception but never get fix til the last the day. Good location and nice clean hotel may visit again for the price.

Very well priced hotel in excellent location!

We stayed in this hotel for one night whilst we climbed Jested and visited Liberec. Hotel was very close to the train station and only 5 minutes walk from the centre. Tram line in front of the hotel connects you by one stop to the centre and in opposite direction took us to the base of Jested. Rooms are very nicely designed with a very comfortable bed, and the bathrooms are very clean and tidy with the added touch of whirlpool for relaxing after a tough climb. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the bar was a great way to start the evening with amazing cocktails and excellent service!

1 night stay only for business. Hotel room had been recently refurbished, some work going on in other parts of hotel, but no problem. Close to centre of town. Good value for money, I had stayed in a much older, more expensive in the same town the night before. The breakfast was quite good, didn't eat in the hotel in the evening. Car parking across the road (mind the trams!)

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer Deluxe mit “Whirlpool”. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Lockere Fliesen, abgewetzte Wandverkleidung, abgerissene Gardinen und gesprungener Spiegel in der Badtür. Vier Sterne sucht man hier vergebens. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aber unser Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt, obwohl wir ab 10 Uhr für gute 9h nicht in unserem Zimmer waren. Als wir das Zimmer bezogen haben, lag noch eine leere Flasche neben dem Bett. Ich bin wirklich nicht empfindlich, aber sowas darf einfach nicht passieren! Positiv hervorheben möchte ich die 2 kostenlosen Lademöglichkeiten für E-Fahrzeuge direkt vor dem Hotel. Uns wurde allerdings gesagt, dass das Laden in Zukunft kostenpflichtig wird und nur vorübergehend umsonst ist.

Wir waren schon sehr oft in Liberec. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Bus und Bahn sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Da das Hotel an der Straße liegt, kann man kein Fenster auflassen, da viele Autos und Straßenbahnen vorbei fahren. Die Ausstattung war super. Das Personal sehr bemüht, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Frühstück sehr abwechslungsreich. Der nächste Besuch ist schon geplant.

Not a good hotel

The lady in the breakfast room was very rude when I came to breakfast as the first guest. She did not greet me and displayed an overall rude attitude. While I was eating, she took my plate without asking if it was okay. In the room, there was a technical system that controlled the curtains and there were lights behind the TV, along the bed frame on the floor, and on a wall trim. There was no information on how the system worked. After I had gone to bed, the light on the wall trim turned on. And the hotel was overpriced.

Schönes Hotel, leider war der Empfang durch den jungen Herren an der Rezeption sehr kühl und nicht gerade freundlich. Informationen gab es spärlich, über die Kosten für den Parkplatz gegenüber gab es gar keine Auskunft...

Der Rest des Aufenthaltes war sehr angenehm. Zimmer sehr sauber, das sonstige Personal freundlich und das Frühstück exzellent.

Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und es war super. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, eigentlich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Altstadt, Restaurants und Shoppingcenter waren fußläufig erreichbar. Alles in allem war super.

Das Hotel war sehr schön, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Jedoch war die Aufmerksamkeit bei vollem Haus über Silvester nicht sehr gut. Wir mussten sehr lange auf unsere Getränke warten und beim Frühstück dauert das nachlegen von Speisen und Geschirr ebenfalls recht lange. Aber das sonst war das Personal wirklich freundlich.

Fint och modernt hotell med stora rum och sköna sängar. Svår med otydliga instruktioner från receptionen när det tex gäller parkering. Folket i Tjeckien måste verkligen jobba på sin engelska. Inte heller snällt att lägga en nalle i sängen till barnet för att man se ska se på en lapp på baksidan att den kostar och kan köpas i receptionen.

Hotel na dobrym poziomie, ciekawe pokoje .Polecam dla par. Jedyny minus to zbyt długi czas oczekiwania na rozliczenie kaucji. Czekam już tydzień

快適は快適です。。。

ホテルの写真を見ての通り、各部屋に色が変わるLEDライトが配置されています。窓際とベッドの下。
問題は、私達の部屋はリモコンでこれを消しても数分で勝手に付いてしまいました。リモコンで変色のパターンを変えることは出来るので、結局色が変わる時間の間隔を長くして気にならないようにすることしか出来ませんでした。
このライトは正直迷惑です。
あとは、せっかく良いホテルなのにフロントのデスクが1つしか開いていませんでした。
また、持参したPCの映画をHDMIでTVに映そうと思っていましたが、TVは壁にはめ込まれて出来ませんでした。
確かに清掃は行き届いており清潔で、ベッドも大きくて快適でしたが、もう少し別のところにも気を配っていただけるともっと良くなると思います。
最後に思い出しましたが、1月下旬で雪が降っている天候にもかかわらず、ヒーターのダイヤルがMAX５に対し３までしか回せなくなっており寒かったです。
今全開に出来なくていつ全開にするのでしょうか？
今でしょ？
エアコンが付いているからそれで暖房になることを期待しましたが、残念ながら冷房と送風しか無く、付けると余計寒くなるというオチでした。
もっと部屋を暖かくしてほしいです。

Fajny kominek w recepcji, dobre śniadanie i serwis

Szklana ściana w bawialni powinna zostać dodatkowo oklejona na wysokości wzroku dziecka (około 100cm) gdyż jest mało widoczna i dzieci na nią wpadają.

Great hotel with a modern vibrant atmosphere

One of the most fun hotels I've stayed in. It's all newly renovated and decorated, and if you choose the Design room, you can pick from a wide variety of beautifully designed rooms. Nice breakfast and great service all around, incl. check-out at 12:00.
The just need to password-protect their Wifi, otherwise it's perfect.
