Budget, but livable

C U Inn Bangkok is not a destination hotel, the rooms are fine, if a bit dark industrial in their decoration theme. Still, they were clean and cool. The important thing is that the hotel has a great location with in walking distance of public transport and the Chatuchak Market.

It’s a good choice for the price and location. Parking is a bit sketchy, but it worked.

Very, clean, simple and convenient hotel

A hotel we usualy use a the end of our stay in Thailand to go to the Chatuchak Market nearby. Then at night make the luggages, take a shower and head off to a late night flight. Very convienent and good hotel for our purpose. Third time there already and still loving it.

Not a great option for a business traveler (lighting in room was poor, breakfast OK), but I suppose it is passable if you are looking for a cheaper option. Room cleanliness was OK. Location is near to two major malls, but you have to cross some major roads to get to them.

No frills ; one klm from market

The C U Inn is a reasonable budget accommodation ; rooms are small and basic .Breakfast basic but does the job.The market is walking distance and the park is across the road. The building is right beside the express way and moves and sways to the heavier traffic .

Very Business Orientated

This hotel is exactly what you need if you have business in the immediate area. However, it saddens me to say that the food was truly not up to standard. I am not alone in my opinion, since we were 6 guests all from different countries to say this.

The room is very spacious with a lovely bathroom. Amenities can be of higher standard though, like having milk pods on the coffee tray. The bed is very luxurious for a small hotel. Be warned that the walls are extremely thin and you can hear your neighbour's television if they are not considerate.

Overall I had a great stay and they staff are always friendly and ready to help. I will definitely stay here again.

Check in was swift. The room we stayed in had a air con that was not cooling enough. Informed mgmt of th me con and asked to be moved to another room. Instead of being moved we were asked to give it’s time to Cool and play with the temperature settings needless to say the efforts were futile. After a long day of travel, didn’t have the energy to press on the matter. The room had hot water, however we found the beds to be too soft. If you like firm beds like us not the place for you. The walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the other rooms on both sides of the wall. If you are a light sleeper keeper def stay away. If you don’t mind live streaming of reality hotel tv then this is the place to tune in. As for breakfast it was buffet style with one Thai dish and the remaining options catering to the Chinese guests.

Hotel Experience

1. The hotel staff were very polite and nice.
2. The breakfast was too uninteresting and lacked of variety.
3. TV programs lacked international movies and news channels.
4. Almost all taxi drivers including Grab drivers cannot find the hotel.
5. There were no MRT or BTS statiions within walking distance.

As a tourist I do find it extremely inconvenient.

Hence, as much as the hotel management tries to improve on its staff service and upkeep of the
hotel, i will not go back to the hotel.

The staff was nice. They were kind enough to make one staff to follow me to the nearest pedestrian overpass, so that I can reach the overpass despite of the heavy traffic on the road in front of the hotel.

The facility needed some improvement. The wi-fi was slow. The boiler at the shower booth was a bit weak.

If you travel from the North Bus Terminal, I think this hotel is one of the nearest.

Directly on the freeway

Nice staff, nice room. Problem is that the hotel is next to a major freeway, and is very loud, all night. Also, there must be a parking garage in the building, because the room shook randomly. Very strange and uncomfortable.

5 day visit

Stayed 5 days. The area has some great restaurants and shopping. It is a 10 min walk to the MRT. If you are going for tourist sites like the Grand Palace, everything is at least a 30 min subway ride away. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant 1 night and it was pretty good. The breakfast is ok, but not a typical WESTERN breaskfast of course. The location is right on a busy freeway exit. You have to cross the exit to wlk to the subway. If you have kids I wouldn't suggest them crossing by themselves. Go the the Blue Sky bar for great views in Centara. I prefered the Central Mall over the Union Mall as they have more Aerivan

Excellent price and value for a major city.

We enjoyed our stay very much and found the staff to very friendly and helpful. Reasonably close to the markets and the hotel provided a limo ride to the market, to the bus station and the limo driver even helped us navigate through the sprawling bus station and purchase a bus ticket. The front desk was excellent and helpful. The included Thai buffet breakfast was delicious and the servers were friendly. The room was not large but was ample for two people. Overall, good price and value, a very happy experience and on our next visit to Bangkok we will definitely stay there.

Nice room with plenty of space and comfortable bed. Would've preferred a room away from the highways as road noise is significant. There's also a restaurant/bar with live outdoor music until midnight, every night. Not so awesome unless you're into this sort of noise. Barking dogs not so awesome either.
Staff super helpful and arranging transportation needs. Restaurant in hotel ended up being better than the higher rated ones close by.

Convenient, nice hotel

CU Inn is close to the bus terminal, and helped us get there to catch our international ride. The kept our extra luggage while we went to Cambodia for a week. The rooms were nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The streets in this area are really loud until late.

Close to JJ market, cheap, and clean! Great food.

The breakfast buffet was much more than we imagined, and very good! The room wifi was strong and fast, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very professional and personable.

The room cost about half of many higher end hotels, yet had more amenities!

Great for a shirt stay

This hotel is great when you eventually find it. It is a great hotel when you need somewhere following flight. The breakfast was excellent, good range of food and plenty of it.
The room was quite small and the bathroom did seen to be in need of some attention but for the money we paid its a good overall place to stay. The staff were very friendly.
Shame there was no kettle to make tea and coffee in your room.
If your room faces the road it can be quite noisy.

Me and my girlfriend stay 2nights here and it was a great experience.The staffs were really kind and friendly and the room condition was superb at that price. The free breakfast was really good. If i visit chatuchak market again I'd stay this lovely hotel.

Comfortable stay in Chatuchak area

The stay was fantastic, the hotel is new and bed was extremely comfortable. Do note that the hotel is next to the highway thus some traffic noises are inevitable. It is relatively near to Chatuchak market (about 20 mins walk) and Union Mall (about 10 mins walk). However, the area is lacking a massage parlors for you to rest your feet after splurging in Chatuchak. But overall a good stay that's very well worth the price

Modern and clean, great price!

Very clean and modern and a great price! Our room was small but was perfectly clean and had a comfortable bed. Close to DMK airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed a cab at 4am and they had it waiting for us when we (sleepily) got to the lobby. Highly recommend this if you need a cheap night's stay in Bangkok.

Extremely convenient location

This hotel is very close to the Chatuchak Market and the SkyTrain. You can walk to both or take ataxi for around 30bht. Hotel has a contemporaneous style, its rather clean, and even though our room was close to the highway it was rather quiet. TV cable works with many English channels. Not many options on their free breakfast but we were there only for one night.

The closest form of civilization in the vicinity was Union Mall which is like a smaller and less crowded version of Platinum Mall. The service attitude was not the friendliest but the hotel looks new and hence, clean. I will only recommend here for a cheap and short stay.

Difficult to find! Make sure you have a Thai map!

Overnight stay on way out of Bangkok.
My taxi driver had a very difficult time finding this newer hotel. I had a small map in both Thai and English, but still we went off on quite an adventure. I ended up having to get out at a larger, more well-known hotel in the same neighborhood, and get another taxi. This driver also did not know where the hotel was, but at least understood which street it was on. Be sure to have the phone number and a map, in Thai!
Room was small and basic, but clean. Quiet aircon and complimentary bottled water. No view to speak of, just looking out on a highway overpass. The included breakfast was nice. Service was very nice, and made up a bit for the difficulty getting there.
Taxi to Don Mueang airport was 330 baht including toll.

Pleasant and friendly staff, always ready and willing to help. Hard to find the hotel when you leave and come back by taxi or tuk tuk. Had to use my own phone gps on several occasions to help drivers. Upper interior of hotel is very warm, no ventilation. Rooms were clean and comfortable but again no ventilation. Air conditioner took ages to cool down but likely due to our room having the full sun on it most of the day. Room was only cool at night. Room needed more furniture as in some drawers, a bigger table and a chair that was sturdy to sit on. Service was great. Room was maintained by staff regularly and efficiently. Very handy to Chatuchak Markets and train station. Was advised to use the back entrance to make it easier to walk to the markets but getting through the back entrance was a bit of an obstacle course itself. Overall, the staff, service, cleanliness, age and condition of the hotel was great but the location lets it down.

Nur im Notfall zu empfehlen.

Es war ein Erlebnis ohne Freude.
Das Zimmer war unfassbar ringhörig, die Zimmer spartanisch, ohne Schrank und nur ein Beistelltisch auf einer Bettseite.
Die Tapeten lösen sich bereits von den Wänden.
Das Frühstück einfach nicht genügend. Eine Sorte Brot, Toastbrot, eine Sorte Konfitüre.
Der Kaffee im Krug nur für Hartgesottene.
Weckdienst beauftragt vor der Abreise. Leider wurden wir nicht geweckt!
Alles zusammen: 1 Stern

コスパともあわせて、まずまず、快適

ホテルは必ずしも新しいわけではないが、値段的に問題ないかなと思う。立地もそんなに悪くない。車通りが多いので音に敏感な人は辛いかもしれない。朝食付きであればまあまあの朝食が無料なので良いかと思う。
タイ語がダメでもある程度英語かわかれば、コミュニケーションとれるスタッフもいるのでさらに良いかも。

Estaban en plena reforma y había ruido parte del dia.

Un parc et des matchs de muay thai pour vous

Assez au Nord par rapport à la ville, le quartier n'est pas a priori le plus attirant et pourtant nous avons été très content de notre choix car 1) L'hôtel reste une bonne surprise, confortable et pas cher 2) Il est proche de l'aéroport Don Mueng et du musée d'art contemporain où nous devions nous rendre 3) De l'autre côté de la rue se trouve le parc Jatujak, très grand et très agréable (écureuils et papillons tropicaux en pagaille) où vont courir les joggers 4) A 5-10min à pied on trouve une station de MRT et de BTS donc on peut quand même très facilement se rendre au centre ville 5) A 5 min à pied se trouve l'Union Mall, un grand centre commercial moderne avec des tas de restaurants 6) Le meilleur, les studios Channel 7 sont à 10 min à pied, on peut assister gratuitement à des matchs de championnat de muay thai, en direct pour la télévision, tous les dimanches !

ที่พักใหม่ดี อาการก็ดี มีหลากหลาย แต่ห้องนำ้แย่มาก อาบนน้ำกลางคืนนำ้ขะงในห้องน้ำนานมาก นำ้ไหลหมดจากห้องนำ้ตอนเช้า กลางคืนนำ้ไม่ร้อน มีแต่น้ำอุ่นจนเกือบเย็น นำ้ร้อนมีตอนเช้าเท่านั้น

Promenadavstånd till Chatuchak-marknaden vilket passade oss bra. Men..helt öde område på kvällen. kom sent till hotellet p g a försenat flyg, hotellets restaurang stängde tidigare än det stod och ingen restaurang i närheten. Det blev en snopen första kväll i Bangkok då vi fick köpa mat på Seven 11! Mycket skön säng var det i alla fall!
