A healthy hotel option!

Ended our Fueraventura holiday here with a 3 day stay in this Sport Hotel.
Thoroughly enjoyed location and the quality of food served in the restaurant.
Excellent facilities with extra charges for the Olympic pool.

Really nice hotel with very friendly staff

Been there second time partially for a seminar and partially for a holiday and will return again next year. The staff is really friendly though the bar service can sometimes be very slow as there normally is only 1 person serving. All staff speak (apart from Spanish) either English or German and a lot of times both which is great (I'm German living in England).The facilities are excellent and it never feels crowded wherever you are.Obviously being a sports hotel it's brilliant if you want to keep fit in a fun environment, but you can also join in if you are as unfit as me and no one cares.

Amazing experience for sports enthusiast

This for me was probably the best holiday being very into fitness and health , having completed the London marathon in April , this holiday with all the variety of sport gave me the re kick start I needed to get back on track. MD Marcus has this hotel exactly where it should be, with professional friendly staff, food quality fantastic , hotel gorgeous!! I am already booking for 2018 and already excited about going back!!

Great relaxing weekend

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay-in a fantastic location- the onsite restaurants and bars were very well run and the staff were excellent. We are a middle aged couple not particularly interested in the miriad of sporting activities but had a quiet relaxing time.

Short stay at Playitas

Great concept hotel, except for the fact that every fitness or athletic activity incurred an extra charge. A better business model would probably be to charge a more realistic price that would include access to all the activities.
The optional breakfast buffet was totally awesome, one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. We were AMAZED BY THE VARIETY AND QUALITY OF THE FOOD OFFERINGS and would return to Playitas Hotel for that reason alone.

Sporty resort, great facilities,food very relaxing

Playitas is a fantastic sports resort with relaxation and customer service at its heart. The staff are fabulous and it is quiet and relaxing in the evenings. There is an amazing outdoor pool and a first class gym and bike hire centre with top of the range cervelo bikes. The staff are amazingly attentive and focussed. The rooms are comfortable and the food is varied and plentiful. Thank you for a great week.

Great place for cycling, sea-swimming and sun.

My hotel room on level 5 had fabulous sea views and evening sun, however accessing it required either three sets of stairs or a glacier-speed funicular and lift. My last two days the funicular was shut down for annual refurbishment, although there was no notice of this at all. In fact, the resort doesn't go in for signage, so it took me half a day of walking around and around to find everything (including the stairs to my room.) The resort has a lot of big empty spaces, so it took me between 10 and 15 minutes to get across to the other side of the resort where my friends were staying in the aparthotel.

The room was spacious, with an excellent shower and huge sink area. The balcony had a proper drying rack for swimsuits and washing out sports kit, which is essential in that heat. The bed linen was good quality cotton, very comfortable.

We ate in the nearby village a couple of times -- you can't get fresher fish -- but the hotel food was adequate. If you're doing tri training as we were, the massive variety was welcome, but the food unexciting. Breakfast was best, with lots of fresh fruit, smoothies, protein bread, several kinds of eggs. etc. The mini supermarket is pretty good, but has an alarming amount of junk food for a resort catering to athletes.

Probably the most annoying aspect of the resort is that you end up paying for many things you would expect to be included: fresh water, wifi and a kettle in your room.

We had a great family experience at the resort recommend the onsite Italian & Soanish restaurants. Great choice of sports & hire if necessary equipment. Only negative for us was the pillows weren't great and we asked for replacements but they werent feather & very lumpy. Lots of steps if in the hotel but lift & train options.

Hotel an sich top in Bezug auf Lage, Ausstattung, Blick und Verpflegung, auch mit ÖPNV super zu erreichen.
Leider sehr laut - ab 9:00 morgens hört man überall laute Musik mit wummernden Bässen und gebrüllte Anweisungen der Fitnesskurse, und das gefühlt den ganzen Tag über mit maximal einer kurzen Mittagspause. Und abends dasselbe aus der Bar. Ausschlafen, Mittagsschlaf, früh einschlafen bei offenem Fenster Fehlanzeige. Für Sportverrückte aber super.

Definitely coming back!!!

It was amazing! The food was excellent and really tasty. Every day slight variation. The staff very kind and helpful. I can't count how many times they kinda saved my life. 😊

The facilities and sports activities were overwhelmingly many! There was so much to do I never even touched my ipad dueing the stay. Hiking possibilities and buses to take you wherever you like. I imagine that with a rented car there are even more possibilities and flexibility to enjoy.
The beach is wonderful and so close by. The beautiful nature and eco garden where they grow own fruit and veggies we get at the buffet. Just wonderful!
One week was not enough for me.

Very nice hotel. Great service and very friendly and easy-going staff. I really enjoyed that it’s a bit ”tucked away” from the the bigger tourist places on the island. Much more relaxed atmosphere here, but still lots of activities available at the hotel. The food ain’t amazing but still well above the average resort. Very clean and well-maintained.

Tolles Sporthotel mit allem, was man sich vorstellen kann. Super Trainer, sehr leckeres und gesundes Essen. Leider ist der Strand nicht ganz so schön und auch ohne Liegen.
Auf der Sportzone, wo die Kurse zum Großteil stattfinden, ist es bei über 30 Grad grenzwertig, da keine Schattenmöglichkeiten gegeben sind.

Acommodation perfect for sport based people because cable car is broken for longer period😂 but for me was this point benefit in all ways - that was reason od my stay - moving my body all the time. Sport programs and weekly races were perfectly prepared. Specially i have to mention coach Stéphane, who was well educated in all possible ways - healthy movement, food, runing technique etc. And best for the end - food was fabulous helathy tasty fresh prepared simply best i had tried in hotel or resort especially thai cousine 👌

Idéal pour les sportifs et les familles.

Les chambres sont très confortables et spacieuses. Il faut un peu de patience pour atteindre les étages supérieurs mais la vue est très belle. La piscine est très agréable, la plage aussi. La restauration pourrait être améliorée.

Internet NEFASTO y red no segura. Los canales de TV no estaban los españoles y había 8 ¡ Ocho ! canales alemanes, ademas no tener pocos ( faltaba la1,2 y la 4 ) se iban de conexión a la vez que el tlf de la habitación. Ofrecen actividades que no dan ¡Bicicleta ! tenia que alquilar 3 dias no pidia 1 ó 2h diarias que es lo que yo queria Windsurfing donde te enseñan cubre ???? En fin la direccion de correo-e esta en inglés … Es Fuerteventura ESPAÑA.

Vive le sport !

Très belle expérience dans ce Resort extrêmement bien équipé pour faire du sport (piscine olympique, terrain de basket/foot, salle de crossfit, golf, etc...). La plage est accessible à pied, les ballades sur les montagnes arides et volcaniques aussi. Attention aux phobiques des ascenseurs... pour rejoindre ma chambre, il fallait en prendre 3 différents (court et rapide.. mais quand même).
Mais dans l'ensemble, c'était vraiment une très belle expérience et j'ai été vraiment impressionné par les infrastructures sportives.

Wer in einigen Sportarten ein Trainingslager plant oder sich als Einzelperson wieder in Form bringen will, wählt das Hotel oder Aparthotel Playidas auf Fuerteventura. Ideal für Schwimmen, Triathlon, Radfahren, Handball mit grosszügigen Fitnesseinrichtungen und Spa aber auch mit Tennis- und Golfplätzen. Direkt am Meer gelegen mit gepflegtem Strand (schwarzer Sand) und einer Grosszahl an unterschiedlichen Unterkünften. Einmal ... immer wieder!

Die neuen BMC Räder sind für den Wind nicht so gut geeignet (SLR3) wie vorher die GIANT.

I've been there before, great place for a training-holiday. Nice staff. Excellent breakfast-buffé, a good start of an active day. Clean and comfortable room. Sea-view from balcony. Nice swimming-pools. Everything well-kept. I will return.

Disadvantage was that wi-fi wasn't free (actually rather expensive). There was also a door-stopper in the bath-room on which I hurt my toes twice, after second time I could not run very well.

Fantastisk rekreasjonsopphold

Fantastisk sted for avslapning og trening. Passer for alle fra den topptrente til nybegynnere. Rent og pent både på rom og fellesområder. Nydelige parknomgivelser med flinke gartnere. Veldig god og variert mat og flere restauranter i komplekset. I tillegg en liten fiskelandsby 5 min spasertur unna. Plass til mange gjester men føles ikke overfylt.

Avkoppling och fysisk aktivitet

Avkoppling! Var med min 22-åriga dotter en vecka på Playitas. Vi var fysiskt aktiva hela veckan utefter vad vi kände för, allt ifrån promenader och gym till spinning och bergsklättring. Hyrde bil två dagar och åkte till fantastiska stränder i Corralejo och i Risco del paso-en av de finaste stränder jag varit på. Det bildas laguner när det är ebb. Ta med matsäck, finns absolut ingenting att köpa. Man kan lära sig vindsurfa och standup paddle och man skyddas av ett strandrev. Ett minus var att det var för mycket människor vid middagen. Hotellet borde ha två sittningar vid högsäsong. Men maten var ok och det fanns alltid mycket grönsaker. Frukosten var fantastisk! Hotellet och gymmet var lite slitet här.

Es posiblemente de los mejores hoteles de Fuerteventura, sobretodo si te gusta el deporte. Tienes multitud de deportes que hacer. La ubicación es perfecta, con una pequeña playa al lado por si te aburres de la piscina. El buffet es variado y de calidad. Lo que mejoraría son las habitaciones, pero no son malas. Es un lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones, tiene mucha tranquilidad.

En general me gusto el hotel, la atencion del personal, los servicios que ofrecen, la comida, en la misma playa.... Lo unico incomodo para mi es tener que coger varios ascensores o las escaleras o caminar bastante para llegar a la habitacion.

Hotel muy bonito, con piscina con vista a la playa. Muy bien las estructuras deportivas y restaurantes. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas para estancias largas. Lo único la almohada que no es para nada cómoda. El desayuno muy abundante y variado. Está al lado de una playa de arena negra y a través de un paseo marítimo se llega al pueblito de Las playitas.

Bodde på Playitas Resort i 6 dager og hadde et fint opphold. Veldige gode treningsfasiliteter med 50 meters basseng, tennisbaner, treningsstudio, golfbane, innendørs hall m.m. God frokost og rene rom. Dårlig aircondition på rommet vårt. Det er kun to restauranter i nærområdet, det kunne gjerne vært flere da den italienske restauranten hadde svært dårlig service og ikke god mat. Det er en fordel å ha leiebil dersom man ønsker å dra litt rundt omkring. Ellers er vi veldig fornøyd med oppholdet.
