Overall, our stay was good, but there were several issues that affected our experience.

We were initially given the wrong room, which was too small and uncomfortable, lacking adequate wardrobe space or drawers. Fortunately, after raising a complaint, we were moved to a better room, which improved our stay significantly.

Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent, and the pool was clean and enjoyable, though unfortunately too small and shallow for my liking.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, but clearer information regarding access to the beach area would have been helpful.

Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel were of good quality, with a nice variety. However, I was disappointed with the fish, which didn’t meet my expectations.

The entertainment provided was great, but the venue was too small to comfortably accommodate all guests. At times, we found ourselves seated in the opposite direction of the performers, which took away from the experience.

While the reception staff were polite, but sometimes we felt a general lack of warmth, kindness, and empathy, particularly from one staff member named Tanio, who was unhelpful in assisting us with access to the tennis table. Despite what was advertised, we had no opportunity to play ping pong during our stay.

The hotel bikes were a nice feature, though they could use more maintenance and an update.

Location was nice and so was the hotel. The rooms were a bit basic. Didn’t love the no cheap option for a double bed so we got 2 single beds and pushed them together. Didn’t love that the pools opened at 10 and shut at 7 or that the elevators took an age to go up to the top terrace because only 1 was allowed. The drinks options were good and the hotel bar staff were great. 5 stars to them. Breakfast was decent. Good range of food all in all and enough dining to go with.

The air conditioning was turned off & would not turn on! It was 28c in our room! It was horrible! The staff brought us a fan & suggested we open the window which did not help! Could not do my hair or makeup, husband had to keep his shirt off otherwise it would be drenched in sweat! All night we had the window open & couldn’t sleep because of the drunk people in front of hotel yelling. Was nauseous, dizzy & tears with the heat in the morning trying to pack up our stuff & get out of this awful hotel.

I had booked this hotel specifically because it has a spa. I was disappointed to find out at check-in the spa would be closed for renovation the duration of my stay.
Hotels.Com or the hotel should advise when booking is made if hotel facilities will be closed.
The hotel in general is good it is nicely positioned directly opposite the beach.
I was upgraded to a sea view room at check-in by Rossi who was a delight to deal with.
The standard of cleanliness was high and my room was comfortable however the food served in the buffet restaurant was average bland with very few authentic Spanish dishes served.

All of the staff were amazing; reception couldn’t be more professional, approachable and helpful, cleaning staff friendly and bar/restaurant team efficient with great service, thank you. It was a very busy weekend in Gandia but we never felt like anything we asked for or needed was any trouble, super relaxing. We will definitely go back to Gandia and will absolutely stay at this lovely hotel. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

What I liked was the entrance, the great pool area, view of the sea.
What I didn't like was the awkward shape of the room, that made it difficult to move around. My husband literally didn't fit on the toilet (he's broadshouldered and about 1,80 m high, not huge or anything like that).
What I also didn't like was the lack of service - both at the pool area and the terrace overlooking the pool. It was basically non existent.
What was also unfortunate, was that 'snacks' couldn't be ordered after 3 PM it seems (I tried and they said we couldn't).

It was a very nice hotel, amenities were good and the pools had easy access for the less mobile appreciated.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The menu was varied and well presented though at times not not enough.
Disabled parking was available but at a cost.
It was disappointing that you had no facilities for lunch snacks at the pool bar.

Wonderful location! The room is spacious as are the balconies. I had to clean the bathroom floor of quite a few black hair on arrival. Onsite parking needs to be reserved in advance. Nice amenities on the ground with different pools and pool bar.

It's very much a resort hotel, with a LOUD DJ, a live singer, screaming kids, pool activites. Don't come here to chill out. Very nice staff, but terrible service, because it's very under-staffed. Two bartenders for the whole terrace and huge bar! They couldn't cope! Excellent buffet breakfast though.

Lovely hotel on the sea front with clean rooms

A lovely hotel with a sea front location. We opted for a sea view larger room which was fabulous. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room very clean. The only little moans I have is the food isn't very warm and for some reason only 3 coffee pods were in the room for 2 people, we used 2 the first day and they were not replaced. Also, the coffee water container was grubby at the bottom so we had to clean it before using it. Only small things but it's about the attention to detail. The hygiene procedures put in place for Covid were very good and we saw lots of cleaning taking place so it felt a very safe place to be. Reception staff were very friendly. Would certainly visit again.

Everything was great. Steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable; and I thought the buffets in Vegas were big!! This one was wonderful!! This hotel has been there for decades; I always look in the \"Guia de Hoteles\" the Spanish government printed back in the 80's as a reference guide before going online; gives me a bit of comfort for what it's worth.

And perhaps a little more effort could have been made with the cleanliness of the rooms. But other than that we had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to visiting again soon!

The stay was absolutely excellent. It was our first visit to Gandia and it exceeds our expectations. The hotel is simply wonderful - rooms are spacious and well decorated. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is new and well equiped. Towels being changed every day, beach towels are free, drinks and snacks in reception. Buffey Breakfast and dinner are tasty and in a huge variaty. Breakfast on a terrace with wonderful sea view! Waiters are very helpful and polite. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Every evening we enjoyd hotel animation. Each day was a new artists and performance. Highly recommended!

The staff were all lovely to deal with, the beds were very comfy, the bathroom was great, everything was very clean, the breakfasts were super, the location was perfect for the beach and for nearby restaurants. The staff organised our bike hire;delivered to hotel and collected from there and at a superb rate too! The only downside was the lunch menu at the bar was very limited, but otherwise our stay was wonderful, and I would definitely return there.

Superb value for money hotel!

Four nights booked at this hotel and we (four persons) loved every minute at this hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Very reasonable prices for food and drink. The breakfast is a buffet style arrangement with an absolute fabulous array of food to suit everyone's taste (too much to list)
The evening dinner is also buffet style with an extensive choice of fayre including fish, meats, salads, desserts and so on. Some of products in my opinion where average but others excellent, but none the less great value for money at 14 euros per person!!!

We have stayed at this hotel many times before as we visit family in the area.
This was the first time that we stayed on a half board basis , as ever the breakfast was to a very good standard but we were disappointed with the quality of the evening meals .
Another disappointment was that the Spa didn't open until 10 am and there was an additional 10 euro charge of 10 euros per person to use the Spa pool .
However we still enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future but probably on a half board basis.

I stayed at this hotel in Gandia (Spain) from Sunday 4th of June to Saturday 10th of June. I'm afraid, my experience wasn't a good one. My issues are listed in here: Firstly, most of the staff were able to speak only Spanish (excluding reception). I only met one person in the Spa who was able to speak German. I offered English, German, Arabic and Turkish but they weren't able to communicate. Secondly, the restaurant staff were taking the plates so quickly even in few occasions I was eating! I'm afraid except few staff, the rest were unfriendly and in some cases quite rude. Thirdly, I paid for \"Full Board\" but in my surprise, you charged me for \"Water\"!! This was to me \"Unbelievable\"! My room was extremely noisy. People next or above my room were heard speaking. When they were taking showers and flushing toilet, it can be heard from my room. Above all, the waste collectors were collecting rubbish from the bins which were located behind my room, about 1AM!!! I am extremely unhappy with your hotel and I will try to leave relevant rate and comment in various travel websites. I believe you will be ignoring my comments but I'm afraid you can't ignore rate I give in other platforms.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in an excellent location for Gandia beach amenities. Good breakfast buffet. Modern and clean rooms, reasonably well sized. Fair price paid. You will need some basic spanish to get by with as the resort and staff are Spanish speaking focused. I made do with a basic phrasebook and lots of pointing.

Lovely hotel with great pools and ideal location oposite beach. Sadly no tea/coffee making facilities or phone in room. Good selection at breakfast but dinner was limited and buffet style food never hot. Good salad bar. This is a Spanish resort so don't expect all day breakfast and football bars - you'll be disappointed. We had a great stay.

It is a beautiful hotel in a great location, with ample facilities. The food in the restaurant was to a high standard and good variety. We were made to feel very much at home.
We thought access to the Spa ought to have been included in the price of the room, as it wasn't clear from the website that it was extra, albeit reduced for hotel guests. Understandably any other treatments then being extra. The Spa was delightful and we would have made more use of it during our two nights stay especially during winter , with it being too cold to use the outside pool and jacuzzi.

Great Hotel, fantastic beach

We stayed during November, 5 day stay, for the Moto GP at Valencia. It was out of season but if you are looking for a quiet time this Hotel ticks all the boxes. Great beach walk or hire a bike and pedal the cycle route along the beach front.

The staff were very good. The buffet style breakfast and evening meals were wide and varied and also very good quality.

The hotel has parking however we did not use this as out of season there was plenty of parking on the road.

I'm a regular visitor to Gandia and I booked in my two elderly relatives on a 5 night b&b basis as I know it had undergone a recent refurbishment. Their room was a delight overlooking the beach and pool area. The room was immaculate with comfortable twin beds and good linen. The bathroom was well appointed. The balcony was of a good size with easy opening doors and privacy screens between balconies.They said the breakfast was a full blown buffet with a vast selection of hot and cold dishes. It was reasonably busy during their stay with a mixture of ages and there were activities arranged should you be so inclined. The staff were efficient and welcoming and the holiday was successful. Bar and restaurant were reasonably priced.

Ok, a little overpriced and not exactly a 4*

Room was good size, small TV and not much else. Bathroom is odd design. Food was v poor esp if you are vegetarian. Drinks are way over priced. Time management is not something any of the staff understand which caused unnecessary stress and the lack of understanding the English language was quite ridiculous!

As a couple checking in to a hotel for one night in March when the town is deserted and barely a sole staying in the hotel but being told there was not a room with a double bed left in the hotel, was quite disappointing. Sleeping on two single beds was uncomfortable and completely unromantic.

Beds very Hard and not very Comfortable - I got a Pedicure and every other Country I have been they have Chairs to sit in while they perform Pedicure. They had me lay down on a massage Table and put my feet in a bowl to soak them and it was very Uncomfortable.

Overrated sausage machine

As a constant traveler, I stay in many good hotels across the globe every year. This is not one of them.

Location is great on the beachfront. Breakfast was chaos although the buffet selection was excellent, the restaurant staff were not good and shortage of eating utensils added to the woes. Stayed almost a week, part during peak season. Having arrived a day earlier than expected, I stayed at the RH Bayren Parc (just behind) and the experience was terrific, suggesting management at this hotel is seriously lacking. Not impressed at all as glasses I had used upon arrival, were still in my room several days later, bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, and on once occasion I got back to my room late afternoon with it still not being cleaned. Poor show for an expensive hotel.

Having hurt my back handling my baggage, I thought I should have a lower back massage, but was kept on the phone for some time and eventually told I could book sometime late the next day. I took pain killers and went to bed and didn't bother as it seemed they really were doing you a massive favour to give you an appointment.

The hotel was very upscale, with modern decoration and lighting. We enjoyed an excellent buffet style dinner and breakfast with many choices. The hotel is across the street from the beach and has two beautiful pools. Our spacious balcony overlooked both. We only stayed one night on our way back to Barcelona but wish we could have stayed longer.

Nos dieron habitación de discapacitados que estaban en la ultima planta bajo unas máquinas que hacían un ruido constante las 24 horas.
El colchón hundido nos provocó dolor de espalda.

Wir waren das vierte Mal in diesem Hotel.Sehr schönes, großes und sauberes Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick ( haben ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen). Alle Fragen und Wünsche wurden sofort u. positiv beantwortet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und super hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr lecker und große Auswahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

El hotel es increíble en todos sus aspectos, tienes diferentes zonas, sala de juegos con play, pin pon y otros.
El buffet es de los mejores que he probad, una pasada.
Lo único que no me gusto es que el aire acondicionado goteaba y tuvimos que poner una toalla para que no sonara caer la gota. Se hizo una bomba de agua en la pintura.
