Beautiful beach, comfortable, beautiful, and clean rooms, good facilities, excellent food and outstanding waitstaff at restaurants and bar.

This resort tends to be popular with younger families with kids, so if you're looking for a place without families, this is probably not for you.

The resort is about 45 minutes away from Goa Dabolim airport. Call hotel for a paid taxi pick-up well ahead. You will have to pay for airport drop off too. Overall, great place and good value for money, though their systems (like many places in India!) seem to be a bit chaotic and disorganized. If you call them, for example, they will need to know your reservation # (not the Expedia reservation) and can't seem to do a search based on your name. Check-in took some time although the front desk was polite and helpful, and we were served welcome cold drinks while we waited. Like many places in India, people don't follow a queuing system and jump in even though front desk may be helping you (systems!), so that adds to the delay as they deal with multiple issues at the same time.

Late check out of a few hours is paid for with an additional day's room charge, so be aware of this when you book your flight. Information about what events are going on each day is not obvious and you'll have to call the front desk or dig around a bit.

Not all 5 restaurants and bars were open when we stayed for 4 nights, but food quality, variety, and service were excellent. Varca beach is fabulous! Enjoy your stay!

Lovely resort and right on a quiet stretch of the beach. Quite expensive to leave the resort and go anywhere, but great if you just don’t want to do too much. Grounds are beautiful. Staff on reception not very helpful if you have questions or need anything, which is a shame.

Great hotel has everything you can ask for.Excellent pool area for kids.Massage and spa areas very nice.Rooms are spacious.Casino to crowded and busy not ideal place for a women.Breakfast staff were all very good and friendly.Dissapointments late checkout is not available even if u ask in advance.Baby cot should be a camp cot and not the one they have baby not safe to leave in it.If there's a function happening restaurants are closed as they cater for there events.Kids club available with daily activities for kids.Also there is no atm on site and no money exchange.

When you enter the property it looks lavish but the disappointment is have to make three complaints in three nights we stayed out of three nights. 1st night went for dinner and the staff were not aware of pint size they serve, asked them specifically and ordered accordingly but came in half the size of what I have been told. Then the billed arrived paid the sum and the server came back short of money stating Sir there is X amount short is it okay? I was not expecting this from 5* hotel Zuri claimed to be.

2nd night our room number was 101 next to the kitchen, the staff were making noise outside the room at 11pm told the staff directly the noise didn’t stopped. Called reception requesting the same after 15 minutes the noises didn’t stopped. Even told them yiu h e awaken my 3 year old daughter but no difference, finally I have to go to reception to ask them can they stop as this is unacceptable. 3rd got the WhatsApp message from the bury manager Chandni at 2.22pm stating that do we need to change the room where they are aware we are leaving next morning? When notified to her asking why I am not allowed to get the taxi from outside she said it is all of South Goa where you have to order taxi from the hotel, so asked why this has not mentioned on your website as they charge 70% more then the price is. She sir this is what they charge. In my opinion ZURI is worth 3* hotel this is also bcos of few good staff. Will I visit again to Zuri, NO.

The property and services are excellent. Location is reasonable distance from the airport. This property along with other regional hotels suffers from unreasonable and excessive taxi cartel which appear to be supported by the hotels. If you are not familiar with the region, you will be ripped off by the taxi drivers association who work with some of the concierge of the hotels. A prepaid taxi from airport to the hotel is around Rs 1300.09 for 2 passengers with standard amount of luggage. Return journey to airport for same is quoted by the hotel’s night staff at Rs 1700.00 and at the last minute the concierge of the hotel increases unilaterally to Rs 2700.00 claiming excess baggage. Duty manager steps in to help and ensures that the guests are not overcharged.

Noisy Poor Customer Care

Very disappointed in this hotel. We were in room 131 for 3 nights and our sleep was disturbed by trolleys being pushed past from 6am each day. Complained and asked for a different room but told hotel was full. On the third night trolleys started to bring stuff past our room from about 10:30pm and only stopped at 11:45 pm when I complained. Response from the management was we had a function! We were given a different room on 4th day which was quieter but still noisy for a hotel of this standard - we could hear everything from adjoining rooms and outside areas. Not a good hotel for uninterrupted sleep. Concern from management was severely lacking and we were offered no compensation for a miserable stay- attitude was 'we moved you when you complained' which is simply not good enough. The only positives I will give are that the rooms were very clean and well appointed and the pool and location are superb. Management really needs to look at its attitude to real customer care.

Place has signs of wear and tear . Check in took a very long time if you want 2 twin beds. I was disappointed with our stay .The room smelled of insecticide . Beach is beautiful. There is a charge to use steam and sauna in gym and closes at 5:30 not 8 pm as the staff stated.

We stayed at Zuri Goa for 3 nights. The resort is really huge and beautiful. The rooms are spacious. Staff is friendly. Buffet breakfast spread is exhaustive with both Indian and continental food. The resort has two huge swimming pools. We had wonderful stay at Zuri.

Horrible experience, in every sense it does not even meet 3 star experience

1. Buffet breakfast not up to mark not even 10-15 choices.
2. The front desk n the security did not even bother to serve n get things up to our taxi. They were waiting for us to give a hand to them.
3. The resorts pretty old not properly maintained at all. There are tiles broken around swimming pool which would be dangerous especially to kids.
4. The room interior not up to mark n swimming pool bathroom stinked like hell.
5. Casino is with drunkards and most of them are locals waiting to start a fight with u.

My worst experience in a hotel in Goa after 8 trips, I've been to Ramada and holiday inn in the vicinity they are 1000 times better. Ramada in particular was best among 3.

Good & bad. Good - pool, staff, Gym, location & beach. Bad- You get woken most nights by people chatting on their way back to their room 2-5AM after a night in the Casino or their Wedding reception. Other than a quiet singer, no entertainment. Bicycles are charged to rent & only available for an hour & you cant leave the Hotel! Pool food is poor.

Holiday resort, sun, sea, sand & pool

This a great hotel for a beach holiday or even a pool holiday, both are excellent. Excellent breakfast choice too. We stayed 4 nights Jan 18 for some RnR between travelling South India.
Check in was poor, we arrived 5p.m. they couldn't find our booking & when they did our room was still not ready at 6p.m., it is a minor point but for 5* with a ridiculous handover time (out 11a.m. no check in till 3pm) they really should be ready!
Otherwise couldn't fault the place, it does what it says on the tin for those wanting to holiday without caring where it's perfect, there is no entertainment program, which was great for us but I would think most people choosing a place like this for a 2 week holiday would want something.
As you would expect everything in resort is over priced cigarettes 540 rupees ( £6 ) outside 350 rupees for example, but at least they have them!

I stayed over the New Year holiday. The hotel NYE Gala is the best I have ever been to. The live music, DJ, food and atmosphere was amazing. I really considering going again next year. I am so glad I selected this hotel to spend my holiday and visit India for the first time. This place is a gem.

Amazing hotel & beach Zuri White Sand!

Amazing hotel with great location. Beach is 2 mins walk from the hotel. If you are going for a chilled out serene holiday with family this is the hotel you want to book. Very supportive and compassionate staff. Good food. Varca beach attached to Zuri is almost like a private property. This beach is free of any noise or crowd loved the beach. Zuri has got and amazing swimming pool. I booked a premium apartment and had once section of pool at my back door, it was almost like a private beach. Whenever I am in Goa you can find me @Zuri White Sand!

We enjoyed everything about the hotel. Except that their check in, check out timing is just plain unfair.

The check in time is only after 3 PM and the check out is at 11 AM!!!! I am a frequent traveller and I have never seen such a wide difference between their check in and check out timining. It's totally unfair to have such an early check out. I can understand that they need to clean the room for the next guest but 4 hours to clean a room is just unbelievable.

Nice Hotel with Beach Attached

I have stayed at many 5 Star hotels in Goa including likes of Hotel Leela & Hotel Park Hyatt. I found Hotel Zuri White Sands Resort and Casino, Goa a complete package of Hospitality with Heavenly Beach of White Sand. The Location, Guest Rooms especially seaward facing Swimming Pool, The Swimming Pool, Landscape of entire 35 acres of hotel property, the warm & pleasing attitude of all members of staff from front office to restaurants and housekeeping made us feel very comfortable & at home. I met chef Vidya, Chef Jim it who were very happy to prepare dishes of my choice & recipe out of their standard menu. The entire waiting staff especially One Mr Naresh of Waterfall Cafe served us very warmly. Naresh took very good care of us. The Breakfast Menu spread was Sumptuous & is a must to be included in your stay.

Couple of suggestions for hotel management...
1) Airport pick up & drop should be included in room tariff
2) The mattress i guest rooms are very soft & uncomfortable
3) Sound of Diesel Generator should be controlled by improving acoustic treatment
4) The cutlery of Waterfall Cafe is too heavy & big for handle comfortably.
5) The quality of Hotel made Yogurt needs improvement instead it should be bought from reputed international brand

WE thank everyone & Hotel management for of Hotel Zuri White Sands for making our stay & holiday at Goa very comfortable

Goa beach hotel & the Monsoons.

I had noticed a decline in standards of the hotel during my previous passages, but this stay confirms my statement.

Housekeeping: dirty bedsheet, strong smells in the bathroom, lack of maintenance of the rooms on a daily basis, negligence of the HK uniforms, lack of attention to detail & body odors of the staff.

Dining Room: A lack of communication and procedures among the staff due to lack of clear guidance from the managers more concerned about consulting their smartphone than taking care of the customer services, and ultimately, lack of training of the servers for the beverage during the meal service.

A slice of heaven in Goa

This resort was a little slice of heaven. It was beautifully decorated, the restaurants were excellent, and the staff were top notch -- and all reasonably priced. The only issue that lowered my comfort score was that it has no elevator and there is no way to avoid going up and down stairs. For example, the breakfast restaurant is one floor below the lobby. A trolley driver did stop and give us a ride to the beach as it was a bit of a walk and there were no chairs on the beach, probably due to it being the monsoon season. Enjoyed the bar and the ambiance there. Even though I had mobility problems, I loved it, so I can highly recommended it. Just be warned that if you have pain when walking or doing stairs, unfortunately this may not be for you. Otherwise go for it, you will be glad you did!

Family oriented beach front resort

Decor and furniture a little dated and tired notwithstanding, it is a decent enough getaway spot for anything up to a week or so. The long and meandering pool envelops a pub restaurant, enabling patrons to sip cocktails while remaining submerged in water; there's another, more classic, pool that is usually quieter, with a semi-sheltered ping-pong table within splashing distance. The renowned beach front is a mere 5-minutes walk across well-maintained open greenery.
5-star service attitude with all the staff members; among these, the restaurant crew is exemplary. Buffet selection seems restricted to local and continental styles, as supposed to being genuinely international. However, it is wonderful varieties and tastes, if you're into the Indian cuisine or feeling adventurous. Do give the a-la-carte a chance, it is a whole different level of experience again. There is the Chinese / Thai / Japanese restaurant which provides a decent respite from the spices overload, and a comprehensive cocktail bar all in the same vicinity.
There are some nice sightseeing spots and eating places outside of the hotel; you will find that cab fares will consume a significant portion of your outing budget!

WE HAD EARLIER STAYED AT ZURI,KUMARAKOM RESORT IN KERALA IN A PRIVATE COTTAGE. I WOULD SAY KERALA RESORT WAS MUCH BETTER THAN ZURI GOA BUT NONE THE LESS IT IS A GOOD PLACE IF U LIKE TO RELAX IN THE RESORT ITSELF AS THE LAYOUT OF THE PROPERTY IS VERY GOOD. ALSO THE BEST PART IS THE AMAZING POOL WHICH IS THE LONGEST IN GOA IF I M NOT WRONG. THERE ARE TWO POOLS, ONE IS THE SMALLER ONE AND THE OTHER IS THE LONGER ONE. THE MOST AMAZING IS THE WATERFALL CREATED AT ONE END OF THE POOL WHICH GIVES THE ENTIRE POOL A GREAT LOOK. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD BUT NEEDS TO HAVE A BIT OF MORE VARIETY. ROOM WAS GOOD AND CLEAN. WASHROOM WAS ALSO GOOD. RECEPTION & ROOM SERVICE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL & INFORMATVE. Room SERVICE STAFF HELPED US WITH SPECIAL FOOD REQUIREMENT FOR OUR SMALL DAUGHTER. The stay was very comfortable but the cost of food was thru the roof. Dinner Buffet was 1350 per person. At least the Breakfast was included which was a beautiful spread of food for any pallet. We ordered Dominos one night and had to walk to the main gate to pick up, they were not allowed inside, 91-8322771477 to the closest Dominos.

If you're looking a relaxed holiday with toddlers and kids, its a no brainer. The hotel is an absolute delight to stay in. Great food and choice of cuisines. Nice ambience and most of all cleanliness and its proximity to the beach. The pool area was most enjoyable as it was clean and we particularly were happy as kids enjoyed it. We ordered food for kids (especially pureed or seasoned for toddlers) and they served fresh and hot meals for them. Although the hotel didn't look too busy in terms of the room occupancy, the room service was fairly slow . It took us whole of first day to resolve some problem over the phone line to ring up the reception of room service. Apart from that,

Overall a very nice and memorable experience. The swimming pool was the highlight. The breakfast was awesome. The beach was close by but we all had to cross a patch of stagnant muddy water which is ~1 ft deep to reach the beach - my kids were scared of that. We got a nice package from expedia with flight + accomodation.
Room no 123 had AC problem as the room was not getting cooler but the hotel changed the room to 122. That was fine.
Bteakfast was excellent with different variety for all 3 days.
beach was quite and clean. Swimming pool staff were very helpful.
Duty Manager had a very pleasant personality and solved all our problem.
concierge was knowledgeable and helpful.

Good resort but food opts are limited n expensive

Overall Good resort. Lobby not very impressive, inside the resort it is very well maintained and sinic, rooms are good, excellent and large swimming pool, beach is little faraway but it's ok you can manage, if lunch and dinners are not included in the package then you have very limited and expensive options for food, also the quantity of food delivered through in room service is horribly less.Bike hiring is expensive in comparison to north goa and people provide this service having monopoly there, cab services options are expensive they charge 1400 for airport drop where as while going from airport to resort we paid 875 to the airport taxi.

Worst hotel ever!

Well what can I say....it would be nothing less then rude if I was to rate this hotel anything other the. Terrible! Please do not stay at this hotel! Hotel needs a serious deep clean! I saw two rats during my stay near the reception and restraunt and no one was bothered! I couldn't sleep and booked myself out the very next day!

Beautiful location, awesome pool.. Food is exceptionally good..
Just the TV in the room didnt work.. If you take your personal car, dont hand over for parking. They drive pretty rash.. Our car got a big scratch on the doors..

Luxurious beach holiday

Fantastic place. Extensive grounds and facilties, a full day (and a half ?) should be set apart for just the resort, ideally.
Staff very helpful and accomodating. Private access to a perfectly clean, safe beach; shade to lie in, if that's preferred.
Food's excellent; dinner buffet on the beach should not be missed. Other shacks on the beach worth sampling, as well.

... Tasty authentic Indian food (particularly breakfast and seafood at fins)
... Beautiful and clean pools.

Can be improved
... Not very infant friendly. Pram has to be lifted from ground to first floor (no elevators or handicap access)
... Certain things were not working when the room was given to us ... Phone, dryer in bathroom. In room dining menu was missing.
... Water not hot in the evenings. Challenge to give baby bath late in the day or before bed.
... Staff is little stiff (more corporate like professionals), less of a resort like joyous, happy.
... Room service food served was not hot. Takes 1/2 hr plus sometimes.
... Baby cot was not available to us during the stay. All baby cots were given out.
... No electric plug points near bed side. Only available at the reading desk.
... Mosquitoes, insects and some roaches we had to kill in the room. In room my equity repellent not effective.

Perfect Holiday Retreat

From the moment we arrived we were delighted by this resort. It was a birthday celebration for my wife and the hotel made a special day for her. The spa was amazing and reasonable pricing. All the rooms faced the pool and were very spacious and comfortable. The pool was lovely with the meandering pool as well as a lovely smaller, quieter one around the side. The beach was a short walk along the beautiful garden path and was very secure. They had security there to sign you on and out of the beach for the safety of the guests! Food was very good and the staff were all outstanding. They had a casino there as well if you are so inclined. I was concerned about the noise from the casino but that was a non issue. Highly recommend this resort and would definitely return.

Nice, Pleasant & peaceful resort

Classy Resort and big resort... On the beach. Biggest Pool, good spread of breakfast, big lawns, decent casino and kids room with attendants. Went on 2nd Oct so could not enjoy the FIN Shack. Buffet for Lunch was good.

Huge poperty located near beach!!!

It's a mix response.. while check - in we got a very warm welcome with welcome drink. It's a huge property with a huge swimming pool and sports activities. The Varca beach is beautiful and approach to beach from hotel is also good. Variety of breakfast was served. Didn't understand the logic behind check in snd check out time..it's wierd that u can not check in before 3:00 pm but have to check out by 11:00..i.e. u pay more but are not allowed to spend time for even 24 hours. Had to atleast call atleast 10 or more times for room cleaning and house keeping.. they were not able to handle the guests despite the booking were in advance. The most surprising thing in today's scenario they charge Rs. 8 per minute for local call and no logic behind that. In the same amount one can do an ISD call from their own mobile!!!

Perfect place to relax solo

I have stayed twice at this hotel. Both times were fabulous. The Zuri has four main assets: (1) a huge swimming pool, with a swim-up bar; (2) fabulous food at very, very reasonable prices for a 5-star hotel; (3) stunning and immaculately well-maintained gardens; and (4) close proximity to a private beach. The bars have a decent selection of wines and spirits, local and imported, at very reasonable prices. On arrival, I was offered a complimentary beer or mocktail. The check-in process was painless, and I was escorted to my room by one of the staff and shown how everything works. The room was spotless. The bathroom and shower were large. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. For me, few things are more desirable than an excellent cup of coffee in the morning. And I must say that the coffee at the Zuri is spectacular. The fresh fruits and juices were excellent. If you are looking for value for money, a beach property, and great food and drinks, then the Zuri is for you. There is live music most evenings. From the airport, you can get a taxi as cheap as 700 INR to the Zuri. Finally, and perhaps one of the best things about the hotel, is that the staff are honest. On my first stay at the hotel, one of my neighbours left a Rolex at the hotel and it was recovered by housekeeping.

average resort. not bad but the beach had nothin.

we expected to see a.very well organized beach with a restaurant or shack on the beach. but there was nothing at all on the beach. the pool was good. food was ok.. nothing goan. felt like any other 5stat restaurants in bangalore. may be I was expecting too much. what I ft was it was no way different from any resort around bangalore. so I rate it as average..

off season,not great value for money

Very polite staff,Good food.But, Not a great choice off season..The beach side restaurant is closed during monsoons.After sunset ,the resort on the beach side is very dark with minimal lighting.It gets very boring after sunset.The poolside restaurant also closes at 7.00 p.m.I would not recommend this place during off season.The pictures in the website give you a very different impression than what actually is during off season.

perfect place

A perfect place for ones who want alone time far from the world. We loved our stay for two days. Very far from the happening goa but once here we didnt want to leave. We liked the blue lagoon and the beach. Very nice staff and clean premises. Although the food is not all that good. In a nut shell A perfect getaway.

Value for money 5 star in South Goa

Zuri White Sands is great value for money. The sprawling landscaped garden merging into Varca beach make for a great setting. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The Kids Club is an excellent entertainment avenue for kids. Food is also pretty good. Overall highly recommend this property.

The whole family liked the hotel! It was rather close to the airport, staff very helpful, room fresh and clean, the pool huge and nice, good facilities for sports, garden beautiful, breakfast really good and the beach clean and almost empty. The stay exceded our expectations!

Great pool and beach front with probably the best sand in goa. But service is tired and lazy with many uncourteous staff members. Beds are good but pillows too thick for a good nights sleep. Food quality very average.

Excellent service, great property!

We were 4 families traveling with children between 6 months and 5 years of age. We thus had several queries and requests prior to our arrival, which were addressed promptly. Special mention of Tiphany who has very quick in her responses and assured us of meeting our requests to the best of their abilities. We loved our stay at Zuri; clean, well maintained rooms, prompt responses to calls made to house-keeping/room service. In terms of food, they have a good breakfast spread. However, the buffet lunch/dinner can be missed as the food was average and expensive. Would not hesitate to stay in this property again.

Good Hotel, but isolated location

Zuri is a very good place to stay, luxurious, nice, cozy room, good bathrooms, good food, nice staff. If you are looking for peace with luxury, its the place. It has direct access to beach, which is open till 8.00 pm. It has few indoor activities too like kids play room, swimming pool ( really good one), steam sauna, jacuzzi, archery, zorbi ball, all without any charges. Paid activities like massage, bicycle on rent, and snooker. Breakfast was very nice with good variety of spread. Flip side, its isolated location, no good beach shacks, taxis and bike for hire have inflated rates. Overall good resort if you don't want to go out too much.

Superb beach side resort in South Goa :)

Experience was juz superb!! Enjoyed every moment of our stay. Widespread varieties in the bfast buffet and an equally widespread lunch n dinner.. they have a superb quiet beach which is very clean and saved from the outside crowd hence you can spend a quality family time at ease..One more thing which i loved is the kids room that they have and also the activities that they conduct for kids. .You can leave your kid in the kids room (which has an attendent whole day to manage kids of all ages) which provides loads and loads of activities for children ... The only thing that i didnt like is the commuting issue.. If you want to go out of the resort and xplore other parts of goa, you need to have your own vehicle.. 'coz first of all the resort is very much interior and secondly if you choose their vehicle/cab they charge xhorbitantly high even for a smaller trip.. They dont allow cabs like fast track, city taxi's or even auto's near the resort and hence you are left with no choice but to choose their own vehicles.. You do get scooters on hire just outside the resort - Activa/dio etc is available for 300 (8 hours) and a bike is available for 500 (8 hours)... Nearest beach is Colva and Benaulum they have water sports and para sailing activities.. All in all a wonderful place to spend 2-3 days (but with your own vehicle) :)
