Spacious room on ground floor was perfect for us. We particularly liked the separate toilet to the shower room and excellent Nespresso machine which also had fruit tea pods.
Definitely recommend the spa on the top floor which we had to ourselves on the Friday evening. Perfect way to unwind after a day of travelling and sightseeing.
Location is ideal for walking around the city and public transport. The trams are so easy to use.
Good choice of nearby restaurants and coffee shops.

Great room in a good location

This was a wonderful, comfortable hotel room with great service and a nice view.

One very small complaint: the opaque curtains did not cover the whole window, so the room could not be made dark during daylight. Otherwise everything was great.

Overall great but let down by cleanliness

Good location, central but quiet. Nice big modern room. Friendly service and great breakfast.
Stay was let down by the room not being clean. The bed was thankfully clean but bathroom was manky, filth on the walls and doors, the fridge stunk, we couldn’t have a drink as the glasses were disgusting.

Not as wonderful as we remembered

We did not realize we were given a handicapped room due to the price we had paid. Had we known that we definitely would’ve wanted to add a break. There was no trough space, and the shower water splashed all over the floor because there were no shower doors. It was very dangerous to walk after a shower. Also, in order to use the washroom, the hallway light always went on, he went in the middle of the night, the light went on into the bedroom. Most of the staff was very nice, one of the women behind the desk gave us much incorrect information and was not helpful. We almost missed the tram at the train station because of the incorrect information she gave us . The breakfast buffet was very good, however. The air conditioning, adequate, but not understanding.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and it is always very nice and pleasant. Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and great staff. It’s near a tram. If you want to use public transportation it’s very easy also walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

No restaurant or bar available in evenings. Restaurant available only for breakfasts, closed later in the day with no info why.

Had a bit of a mix up at check in, they had mixed us up with another family from the UK. All went smoothly after that. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, if you went after 9am the hot food was not replenished and the choice was poor. We have stayed at this hotel before and the breakfast was the same then. However we love everything else about it and will certainly return. Fantastic location for the city and site seeing.

A modernised hotel close to the tourist centre

The hotel is in a great spot - about one block from the entrance to the old town. Very close by to parks, nice walks and a variety of bars and restaurants. The surrounding streets have some classic old buildings and the hotel occupies one of them, but is fully renovated and modernised inside. The staff were efficient and spoke English well. The room was large, and has a small bar fridge / mini bar.

Nice hotel to stay in Olomouc

The Theresian Hotel was very nice and has large rooms that are well furnished. We really enjoyed our stay here. The air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was nice. The breakfast was average and the wifi a bit unreliable. The location is also great. It is on a quiet street just a five-minute walk from the main square.

The hotel was nice and modern and close to the centre. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. On the face of it this should be a very nice hotel but there were a few things which made our stay not quite as pleasant as we had hoped. Firstly, the view from the room was depressing. It overlooked an unkempt garden with rusting furniture and buildings in similar condition. On our first day our room was not made up despite us being out of the room all day. The Spa facilities cost extra and need to be booked up well in advance of our arrival. This was not explained to us when we made our booking and the Spa was fully booked on the day we wanted to use it. The shower flooded the bathroom floor despite the door being closed correctly. The breakfast was not particularly appetizing, but I imagine it was a traditional Czech breakfast, just not to my taste. On the one occasion we asked the reception desk staff to help us (booking a train ticket) we were asked to come back later (no one else was waiting) despite her seeing that there were only 2 seats available and if we didn't book them there and then the seats could have gone. On our insistence they booked the tickets for us. Lastly, I awoke in the middle of the night to find a cockroach running around the wall next to the bed.

My husband forgot his mobile in the room. It was found 1 week later and the staff took the trouble of tracking him down and arranging the return. The hotel is in very good condition, our room has recently been renovated and is modern and pretty. Location is great, walking distance to the main attractions.

A high level of comfort for a reasonable price

A really modern and relatively upscale facility hotel with some of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The only suggestion I would make is to not play techno music in the restaurant during breakfast. It was a bit out of place. That said, the comfort, the location and the amenities are all too-notch.

Great hotel in Olomouc downtown

Theresian is a new hotel with great central location.
I stayed there during Olomouc half marathon event and the hotel made our stay very pleasant by providing bottle of water, protein bars and discount on special marathon menu in their restaurant. They also prolonged their SPA opening hours until midnight so that runners could go rest in there after the evening race. The rooftop SPA has a nice sauna, whirlpool, chillout area and a bar.
Breakfast was delicious as well, including good coffee, croissants, eggs and fruit.
If I decide to run the halfmarathon in 2018, I will definitely stay there again!

Wonderful contemporary hotel.

The modern room was spacious and extremely comfortable and quiet with great amenities. The staff were very professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great location - walking distance to parks, the old town, restaurants, and right on the tram line for transport to the train station, Palacky University, etc. Wonderful experience and excellent value for the money.

Hotel was beautiful, recently refurbished and very clean. The service was so so. Staff was not accommodating with getting some laundry done, with not allowing us to bring coffee from breakfast to our room, with clearing away dirty dishes from the room when it was being cleaned. Also, it was a very loud location. A nearby club closes at 4:00 am as I was reminded all 3 nights, at 4:00 am! However, it was close walking to the main sqaure.

Tolles, zentrales Hotel. Sehr gutes Frühstückbuffet. Schöner Spa in der 5. Etage mit 3 Saunen und 1 Whirlpool.
Zimmer war geräumig und sauber!
Da es in der ersten Etage war, hat man ab ca 6.30 Uhr die Zimmermädchen gehört.

Decent hotel but Eastern/Northern Euro standard two twin mattressese and two comforter setup. Lightswitch near bed permanently lit and detection light near bathroom so all who are light sensitive should abstain or bring a mask. Decent breakfast. For the most expensive hotel with a spa in Olomouc I expected better but did not try the spa. Extremely limited workout room.
