The property is not well-maintained, and the furniture and facilities appear quite dated. While the staff are friendly, they seem inexperienced and lack proper training. For instance, the staff member who helped us with check-in forgot to give us a room key. We only realized this when we were about to leave the hotel for dinner, and it took another 15 minutes for the key to be delivered to our room.
Additionally, unlike every other accommodation we stayed at in Bali—whether five-star hotels or private B&Bs—this hotel offered no refreshing towels or welcome drinks upon arrival. It was the only one that didn’t.
The room furniture is poorly maintained, partly due to neglect and partly due to low quality. I am not convinced this is a five-star hotel nor that it belongs in the Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) category. It is likely the worst SLH property I have ever stayed at. For the price we paid, there are many better options in Bali. I would not recommend this hotel.
