Stayed in Nov/Dec. The AC is tied to a central control which is hard-wired to heat in the winter, so no option for cool. My window pointed the sun for 90% of the day, and coming back in the afternoon found my room to be 81 F (27 C), with no AC to cool it down.

Only one elevator for the whole building was annoying. There is only a single washer/dryer pair for the entire building as well.

The hotel has only 1 elevator with 12 floors. Always had to wait for an elevator.
The bathroom has mold under the ledge of the counter and the sitter has no adjust menu so just sprayed out all over the floor. The staff dropped a bag off in the morning at your door with extra towels and replacement items but never went in to make beds or pick up old towels - I guess you’re supposed to make up your own rooms. Staff not very friendly.

Brilliant for Akihabara train station and the Yamamoto line - hotel super clean and staff at front desk were very helpful. I arrived very earlier from my flight but although check in was 3pm they offered me a room earlier for the price of ¥2000 which was a complete bargain (and much appreciated). Would stay again.

The staff at this property were helpful and courteous. They were helpful in managing my luggage before and after check in and check out. They were helpful in calling a Taxi when requested. They were super helpful in turning the cooling on in my room, as the hotel default turns it off during cooler weather, but I needed more cooling to sleep well.

This hotel is located in a walkable spot, easy to get to the station and has many food options and a convenience store right outside the hotel.

Please do not take the rest of this review to negatively impact the staff, as I think the following issues are more to do with the expectations on the cleaning staff and a crappy overall management plan of the hotel:
- I had severe allergies/hay fever that was exacerbated by the dusty state of the aircon unit. I couldn't not sleep without the unit running, but I did not pinpoint the issue being the dirty state of the unit until my last day of staying. The unit intake was actively covered in dust and it's unknown when the filter was last cleaned.
- the bathroom seal in the back of the shower has black mold growing in it. Thankfully I don't have a mold allergy.
- the bathtub seal at the drain end of the unit was coming apart from people standing in the tub and is likely being filled with water from showering regularly.

Never Again. Never ever again.

The wallpaper was peeling. The carpet had nail clippings. The bottom sheet had yellow and streaks stained in them and there were drops of red stains. I can only assume it's urine and blood stains. The room was dusty. The TV IR sensor for the remote fell off the TV. This is my 2nd and final time staying at an APA. I would rather sleep on a bench, than risk staying in an APA. I feel violated after staying here.

I like the location, but the room can use better cleaning. I also thing the wall paper could use replacement it was dirty and there where rips on it. They should leave the AC on in the room. It was hot when I got there. I think there was mold on the walls. I like the breakfast buff. I just wish it stay open till 10am.

This is my second visit to an APA hotel, but this time there were 2 people in the room. The room is a bit small for 2 people, you will bump the other person. The location was great, near train station. They bring up fresh towels every morning, but no room service till 4 th day. Overall a good choice.

The location is great! The room was clean, definitely what we expected in small size. The experience we had with the staff was that they knew very minimal English. We were expecting our JR passes through FedEX and they rejected our package 3 times even though we checked and checked with them that we would be able to receive it. In the end we had to go to the FedEX depot to collect our package because the hotel never accepted it.
Other than that easy check in and check out process, they were able to send our luggage to our next hotel in Osaka and showed up no issues the next morning.

The location of this hotel is great as it's very close to the JR station. With the comes with, you can hear the trains, but that was expected. As a lot of folks have shared, the room is very small. We were a party of two people and it was very cramped especially with our luggage (luckily, we did not pack too much). Overall, the hotel worked for us, the bed was comfy and it was convenient having a 7-11 nearby and being close to the JR station, along with restaurants near by.

Check in time is 3pm. We arrived at 2:50pm but the front desk clerk made us wait. A line of other guests shows up and we had to get to the back of the line again. She was very slow of the check in progress. Did not tell us about amenities for this hotel either. There is only 1 elevator for the entire hotel. We stayed there 4 nights and the 3rd night they were suppose to clean our room. They did not and since we were leaving the following day, we did not bother to report it. Only good thing is that it is located near the train station.

Hotel itself seemed rather worn down (that could be my impression because I was in a smokers room, not by choice but the only available room at the time as it was a last minute booking).
On the other hand the staff were all polite and as helpful as could be.
Would I stay there again? Possibly, it was located really close to Akihabara Station & had access to some convenience stores etc on the way. But the room was very small (compared to others I used on this trip) So it would come down to price and if I could get a non smoking room next time.

Best Location For Trips if you're mainly in Tokyo, Shibuya, Yokohama. 2 minute walk from Akihabara Station. Staff were very Helpful, Friendly and Hard Working. The breakfast for additional 800 yen was a good deal for the quantity. Right outside is a 7 eleven and on the other side of the hotel is a Family Mart so walking distance for convenient(Fami Chiki-delicious). The room is perfect for 1 person, the bidet will change your life and you cannot live without one after using it. Only negative points I can say was the floor was dirty in my room but everything else was excellent. The Body Odor smell in the elevator was bad in some case but it cant be helped due to best location for customers.

Had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Main areas of room and items/sheets are clean. Slight rumble from nearby metro rail, but would only disturb the lightest sleeper. Section between bed and wall could use some vacuuming though, some build up of dust in the inaccessible corners.

Great location to Akihabara. Close enough to walk to (less than 5 minutes) but far enough away to not be disturbed by loud advertising and flashing lights.

Hotel is within 2 minute walk away from the station which made everything accessible. Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay as the staff at front desk really made an impression and were above and beyond helpful. Storage shelves are available to use free of charge. All of them spoke conversational English and it really saved the day.

Of the four nights we stayed at the hotel, we were given only 1 set of amenities on the first 3 days. Bathroom smelled of urine regardless how many times we tried cleaning it ourselves. Mattress has a huge man-shaped dent in the middle so two person were to sleep on it, you will roll right into the sunk in spot. We regret not informing hotel staff about the problems on the first night.

The room had weird black stuff on the wall. A bad smell when I walked in to the room for the first time. The room had lots of dust particles. The hotel wifi was hacked during my stay, and the hotel staff did nothing about it. The hotel cleaning staff moved the things they are not supposed to move around in the room i.e. my personal belongs. Would not recommend at all.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It's near the train station and there are a lot of places to eat and drink in the area. The main issue I had while staying here was the Wi-Fi system at the hotel. It was unreliable and all my devices were constantly losing connection or not getting any internet service at all. Extremely close to Akihabara station i'm talking a four minute walk if you know where you are going. We got lost 10 times trying to figure out how to come back the right way. However, great location slightly and I mean very slightly larger than the Shinjuku Apa we stayed in.

It's an Apa you get a somewhat comfortable hotel for a decent price unfortunately due to Sakura season the price was about $70 to much in my eyes. And like other Apa's the pillows are garbage flat and uncomfortable. My biggest compliment with this chain is their pillows.
