We stayed here on a whim and because there was nothing available at Disney it being Christmas. It’s nice to be able to walk to two parks. Room was great. Price was comparable to the area. I was a little put off by the extra 50 bucks a day “resort fee” but it is what it is…I also had to pay for parking which was another 25 a day, I think, it may have been more. Parking is also limited and a hassle. I would definitely stay here again but without a car. Oh, park transportation is good too. Quick. The drivers drive a lot faster than the Disney busses.

The parking lot at the Dolphin was being used for some kind of construction project. This forced us to park at the Swan (we had to check with the front desk to see what we should do) and walk to the Dolphin.

Ordinarily this would not be a huge but when we are being charged $40 per night to park onsite I would like the process to be hassle free. It was not.

We arrived an hour before check in and were told no rooms were yet available, but the desk agent could provide an upgraded room for a specific amount. It ended up costing another $216 more on top of the $50. a night resort fee. While I’m sure the front desk agent explained it, I just didn’t see what the upgrade was once getting to the room and I felt almost as if it was a bait & switch. I felt compelled to get an explanation. We spoke to Tyler who explained that our room was still standard, but our view was better. He was very thorough and did offer a resolution, but we opted to stay where we were.
Later when I had several other concerns & questions. I was able to call guest services and spoke to Brianna. She was extremely helpful! She answered all my questions regarding restaurants, housekeeping, and how to use the QR code to access the many amenities and texting availability to its guests. In fact, it became useful when on several nights we had neighbors who were very loud into the wee hours of the morning. Security was very prompt and took care of that issue.
I felt like we had to learn as we went along. But overall the Dolphin is a wonderful hotel in a great location in Disney, albeit a Marriott owned hotel. We will stay there again but will be much better at knowing what to ask and what to expect!

If you want to drain out your money without worrying, you are very much welcome to stay in a Disney Resort. The best part was the continuous worry free shuttle service between the hotel and the parks. The rest, including the foods, beverages or even a simple sandwich is 3x times more expensive then anywhere else. For the restaurants for dinner you have to prebook via the Disney app and all of them are super expensive too.

There is a quick order off the lobby called Fuel that is great for snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, fresh made coffee, pastries, hot sandwich lunch or breakfast, is reasonably priced, opens early and stays open till 1:00am. It even has tables to sit at and eat. The pool stayed open until 11:00pm which is wonderful for Disney tired feet and achy legs before bed. Variety of sit-down restaurants to choose from. Finally, the hotel is a luxury hotel but is very reasonably priced compared to other luxury resorts on property.

We didn't have great check in experience at the hotel. We booked hotel with 2 double beds and hotel was giving us a king size bed with sofa bed during checkin. We had to literally push them to get our desired room. Hotel should honor the reservation.

Private beach with play ground and pools very ideal for all ages. Breakfast is good. There are different options for places to eat. Some open as early as 6am and close as late as 11pm. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean, just a little dated carpets and bathroom.

Hotel is great for families, and it's well located next to Hollywood studios and Disney springs. You can walk to the board walk or take the skyline to Disney's parks.
Now for the price, we expected the room to be a bit better/bigger and cleaner, since we found stuff from other guests left in the room that was supposed to be clean.

Family-friendly and very convenient! They allowed us to upgrade for earlier room availability too! There were not enough blankets and pillows for the kids pullout couch, so it was a little inconvenient having to call for amenities after a long day at the parks. Be aware that the walls between rooms/ hallways are very thin! We could hear every word our “neighbors” said…. Overall it was a great experience and well worth the price!

Wasn't very happy with my experience. Waited on a 30 minute line to check in. Room wasn't ready, which wasn't a problem because it was only 1 PM when I checked in. They called me at almost 5 PM to let me know the room was now ready. Check-in is supposed to be at 4 PM. I then had to wait in another 30 minute line to get my key. Meanwhile, I have the Disney app that showed my hotel information but would not show a room or allow me to access room with the app. There was no parking at all, only valet. Front desk told me to speak to valet to see if they will match the parking fee price, which is pretty ridiculous and shouldn't be my job. They couldn't match price because they were busy as well, so I had to wait again on a line to access guest parking. 50 bucks to park. 50 bucks for resort fee. I was there one night! I was at the park 90% of the time. Wasn't using any of the resort amenities. So, not happy with the price I paid for everything. Definitely was not worth it, and wasted a lot of time.

The parking cost and \"resort fee\" is really a stretch. Thats an extra $100. Remember Disney resorts do not charge resort fees and parking is free. Also, Disney transportation gets you closer to park entrances. Like Magic Kingdom, Disney bus transportation gets you to the main gate where as Swan/Dolphin bus transportation drops you at the transportation and ticket center and you have to then ride the monorail or boat to Magic Kingdom. Small things that add up. It was our first time staying and will probably be our last. We will go back to Disney resorts while on property.

Stayed a week at the Dolphin in a King Delux Suite. The experience was great and the Swan & Dolphin are one of my favorite places to stay on the Disney property. So many places to eat and things to do. I also enjoy the walking distance to Epcot, Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios. The property is well maintained and should be for the price in resort fees. Staff was exceptional and the buses were efficient. The king size bed had a huge concave in the middle and not very comfortable. My kid did enjoy the fold out sofa bed which seemed comfortable.
Also expect to pay an additional $100/night for resort and parking fees. We self parked for $40/night. I expected it from past experiences but I don't understand why they just don't roll that all into one price. I could see how it would make people upset because going to Disney is already expensive and to get hit with additional fees after your vacation could turn people off. For a week, I paid an additional $531 for parking and resort fees so keep that in mind if you budget your vacation.

If I have to say something about it I would say the prices are really high so I would recommend you to buy food outside unless have no option, the bathroom I don’t know ho designed but needs to find a better way to open the door while you using the toilet

The entire property is spotlessly clean, from the common areas to the guest rooms, and it always smells wonderful. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience even better.

The only consistent hurdle is the check-in time; because this is a massive hotel that hosts many large groups, rooms are rarely ready before 5:00 PM. While you shouldn't count on an early check-in, the resort makes the wait easy. You can simply leave your bags with the bell hop and hop on a boat to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. If you aren’t heading to the parks, the pool bar and stunning lounge areas are the perfect places to relax. I’ll be back again very soon!\"
