We enjoyed our stay at this luxury hotel. The buffet breakfast was excellent and there were lunch and dinner buffets if you don't feel like venturing out. The rooms are spacious with amazing views of the city. The beds are overall comfortable and the rooms stay nice and cold. The shower is hot but the water doesn't drain out of the bottom very well. We appreciated the welcome waters and toothbrushes. We needed hand towels and they delivered them promptly. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store nearby that serves food and drinks. There's a bank nearby and you can walk 15 minutes to a market for food options. We will stay here again.

The room, AC was poor did not keep room cool enough. The toilet required me to flush it for roughly 15-25 seconds to actually get the toilet to flush. These two things caused minor inconveniences, and they unfortunately couldn't fix either during the stay.

That being said, the room was clean, property was clean, breakfast was great with a wide variety and fresh fruit. The staff at the hotel were very kind, curteous, and helpful. This was the 2nd stay of mine and they have always had excellent service.

I would highly reccomend this hotel for anyone to stay at.

Decent hotel in central Jakarata, walking distance to Gambia station and easy to get to all the sites by taxi or tuktuk. Reasonable, clean rooms. Very large pool and bar in a lovely garden. Staff were great - thanks to Ricci in the bar for the Indonesian snack recommendations! Delicious.

The Hotel is good.
The staff very well dressed.
But very low energy. The staff appear not motivated to offer services.

Th Restaurant staff seemed better in customer service but still average when i compare with other cities i travel.

The house keeping takes very long to respond. Room telephones that don't work unless you know the extensions off head.

I had just arrived from Dubai where i stayed in a 3 star where the service exceeds Arya Duta.

I do my workshops in Arya Duta in other cities - the energy to serve customers with a smile is very low.

The hotel WAS a 5-star hotel but it has run down into a 3-star hotel. The pool
was dirty and then closed. The rooms were dated and the hotel could be cleaner. The air conditioning does not have a thermostat so it is difficult to control the room temperature.

It's a property for people who enjoy the vintage vibe. If you're a traveler who appreciates vintage, this is definitely your place. The front desk and office area exude class, but once you enter the rooms, it all becomes extremely vintage. It's not my style of hotel, but it's quiet and polite.

The checkin process was good , the staff was courteous. Room was outdated , shower was broken and had to wait for the 'engineering' team to fix the shower. After multiple calls and 30 mins of waiting didn't help to fix the issue. Also there was only one point for charging laptop or phones.

Disappointed with the service. No plug points in room. Have to go under the table for that. Even to make coffee In room, we have to take kettle under the table. No enough lighting in room. No temperature control for AC. Toilets not clean, wash basin water logging. Disappointed totally.

Large room on upper floor was in need of renovation. The A/C was not working effectively, which is a major discomfort in Jakarta. The buffet bŕeakfast is good but overall the hotel is looking old and tired and needs renewal.

Stayed there for 3 nights part of my transit, room was spacious and clean, they have all the amenities that required. Breakfast was good and have a lot of variety to choose, the congee was a bit cold tho! however restaurant staff are friendly and very accommodated, the only issue I had when one of our key cards not working, front desk staff was not very helpful. But overall very enjoyable stayed!

A good all round option for the price

The hotel is quite old but the staff are good. The location is quite close to the city center and the national monument.
The gym is big but in desperate need of a refurb, pool is fine and nice pool bar.
At busy times (national holidays) the main restaurant is overly full, but otherwise ok

I came early. the hotel staff was justified in saying room is not available. We gave our number and told them that let us know when it will be as I haven't slept enough and am tired. Staff tried to sell a room of almost double the price which she said is available immediately. When I refused, she completely lost interest,
The room was then available for hours and staff did not bother to inform. I finally went to a SPA to get relaxed and checked in at almost 2:45 PM. I would have appreciated a bit better service orientation.

Highly recommend the hotel - fine breakfast. I upgraded to club room and had breakfast on top floor. Very quiet and relaxing. Also had free happy hour there. Used spa twice - very good.and gym three times - also very good as plenty of machines. Used pool once - again good. And satay by pool was excellent. Only negative was I had two separate bookings and even though the front desk confirm with me before arrival by email, I had to change rooms and floors after one day. Normally I would accept this, but I needed to wait nearly four hours for front desk could confirm I could transfer. And I had things to do, other than waiting around. Otherwise wouldn’t hesitate to return. Staff on top floor lounge very helpful and friendly. Top stars.

Horrible Service from Untrained Staff.

Staffs were slow to check in, promised for late check out and they did not record it down in their system. Requested for a birthday decoration for the room but nothing was done on the day of check in. Key Card ceased to function on both of the days we were staying. Got a room right at the end of the hall. Had to walk all the way to the lobby and asked to fix the card issue. Staffs and manager came up with many excuses when asked about the issues. Very disappointing experience. To makes things worse, it ruined my girlfriend’s birthday trip & experience in Jakarta. Was not expecting such a horrible service from Aryaduta Hotel. Will not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel to avoid future disappointment.
