The hotel is located two blocks from Shinjuku station. It’s central but very crowded. We stayed in other areas in Tokyo and didn’t see any trash covering the grounds like we did in Shinjuku. The hotel is older and not updated in the rooms. The lobby area is nice and all the staff there are super friendly. It’s a very large hotel, felt very franchised versus being a personal stay. Rooms were spacious for Japan.

Good location. Helpful staff. Only downside was the room size. I suggest getting a 2 bed room instead of the one bed for 2 people. There was no room for everyone one carry on suitcase so we had to climb over luggage to get in and out of the room. Bed was very hard. Room and hallway was all old smelling carpet. Otherwise, a great stay.

If one wants to be in the middle of all Tokyo night life then this is the place. Rooms are incredibly small with no place to open suitcases and or put away clothes . Bathrooms are nice. It can be noisy

Great hotel however being in the red light district is not ideal. There was a lot of garbage every morning outside the hotel on the streets however the city employees were present to clean it up. Just a bit of a surprise to see so much garbage based on previous visits to Tokyo.

Unlike any other of the 5 hotels I’ve been to this trip, this hotel amenities are very poor. There is only few things in the room and that’s it.
No amenities tray in the lobby like all others.
No shower cup, no hair bands, not even a bottle of water. There’s an empty carafe you can fill by yourself.

Location location location. Only 2nd time in Japan and I stayed here both times for 2 of my Tokyo stays. The hotel is in the heart of the bustling area of Shinjuku surrounded by food and entertainment. Also since it’s so tall it’s very easy to get back to after a night in golden gai. The 7/11 in the same building is extremely helpful, we got breakfast and late night snacks there every day. I 100% would recommend this for a first time visit to Tokyo.

We stayed on the Godzilla floor and the room was bigger than I expected. The laundry facilities were easy to use and convenient. There were plenty of restaurants on the bottom floor and Shinjuku Station was very close making it easy to get around the city.

For the location in heart of Shinjuku, the hotel was very clean and well maintained. Like anywhere else in the area, when you walk out in the morning it looks like Times Square New Year and Mardi Gras went off the night before. But the city does a good job of cleaning up for the next round.

This hotel is located in the middle of all the action. It is a two minute walk from the airport limousine bus drop-off. It is also about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station. The breakfast buffet was delicious and definitely worth adding it to to your room rental. The only negative thing I can say is that the mattress was extremely firm. It was the equivalent of sleeping on a carpeted floor.

Overall good experience for a decent price in the area. Prime location in Shinjuku, right next to countless food options, stores, nightlife. The Godzilla themed decorations are exciting for a movie fan like me. The self check-in and out was smooth without problems for foreign passports. The room was small but I succeeded in storing my luggage under the bed, and the bathroom is large and awesome with timer on bath water settings and useful small details.
The room wasn't the most clean, I've found leftover food pieces on the floor and hair at random places. But it isn't terribly dirty either, no odd smells or obvious stains.
I'd come back if the prices stay affordable even if just for the prime location.

The room is cleaned and bedsheets changed every 3 days unless you request them to clean it. So it’s definitely for longer stays. The staff was super helpful. These are very very small rooms. Theres no iron just fyi. Theres a warming board. Theres no where to hang your clothes because of the space. Just be aware it’s tight. Pack super duper light if you’re staying here. The tub/shower is FANTASTIC. it was my friend after a long day of walking. It was like my own personal onsen. And it fills all the way to the top. They dont provide salts so you can buy your own though. The laundry machines downstairs work but you need your own detergent. The dryer takes about 3 cycles to dry all the clothes and make sure you have US DOLLARS to change to yen because the washing machine only takes 100 yen coins. Airconditioning and ventilation is great. Theres no free breakfast but theres a sizzler downstairs and Very convenient 711 downstairs. In the morning S.rides are waiting in the front to take you out. The outside is not for kids. Its for young single people. There are a lot of bars and girls bars for men only. This is the red light district so just be aware but if you take your family here, you can easily take them elsewhere w the cars/taxi parked in front. Overall very great deal for what we got. We didnt stay the whole trip and moved to ginza the last 7 days. We booked for 11 nights. Staff is super nice!!!!

Our room was nice - above average size for a Tokyo hotel for the price, and well cleaned and maintained with a great view. The staff were helpful and spoke great English. It takes a bit of time to get in and out with a lift to floor 8 - the lobby - followed by a second, separate lift to the guest floors. Room service and drinks are so expensive so as to be not worth considering - 1800 yen for a Godzilla themed soda or 3300 yen for a dessert, for example. It's also in the middle of Kabukicho, so the surrounding streets aren't particularly nice to walk around most times of the day, and the city noise still makes its way into your room all night. None of these are deal-breakers - it's still a decent stay - but not mind blowing.

The room size is what you should expect while traveling in Tokyo. It was just right, having enough room for two large suitcases (we stacked ours on top of each other) and being able to move freely about the space. The view was spectacular and the cleanliness and friendly staff made this stay great. I am a shower and water pressure junkie - and the bathroom and shower were the standouts in this hotel. After a long day of walking around, it was so nice to have a nice, hot, and extremely great water pressure shower! I still miss the shower :)

The hotel is located in a very lively part of town, lots of food, shopping, close to the public transit. The hotel is clean and modern, no concerns with noise outside once windows are closed. There were lots of tourists from Europe and Americas, so it was nice to ease in to our travel in Japan after a long flight from the US. Room was very nice, although beds and pillows were a bit hard for my liking. The bathroom was great, nice soaking tub and a shower. TV had Netflix (you'd have to log in with your own account), that was a nice touch. We did not purchase breakfast with our stay, but did end up having breakfast one time, on the departure date. There was a lot of variety, both Asian and Western, good quality, but I thought it was a lot more expensive ($30 per person) than grabbing food at a local place. We shipped our bags to the next destination, it was really easy to do and the staff at the reception was very helpful. Great experience overall.

Once you enter the building you are in awe, it’s a must for Godzilla fans, and a bonus if you stay at the hotel you will receive a post cards of Godzilla in your room. The staff is friendly too and the view from your hotel window from seeing the sights of Shinjuku city to the Godzilla head its self is amazing. I recommend it at least for the one time experience if you are a Godzilla fan!
