This one is going to be a mixed bag of a review.

The Good: Room was nice and clean, housekeeping kept everything nice and restocked our fridge.
Francis took us anywhere we wanted to go on resort even set his own alarm to meet us on departure and help with bags. Luis, I’m sorry for the misunderstanding with the check in survey that was at Expedia not at you sir. Thank you for surprising my wife and I with the room being decorated while we were out and the dinner by the beach. Luis was on it and deserves all the love and awards at that place.

Bad:Travel club being rude and liars, parts of resort closed off to different tiers. Food wasnt good, drinks watered down. Adult pool taken away from everyone, was looking forward to that. we decided on day 5 we won’t be back due to how the travel club just doesn’t take no for an answer. 90 minutes turned into 3 hours apparently “can’t afford that” doesn’t click. Also beforehand we were told even if we don’t want it “we’ll still be friends”” that’s a lie cause afterwards I had to force them to shake my hands and they had attitudes.

I don’t like how the future looks with this subscription service that the resort is going with. Thank you everyone who helped and were nice but all of the bad outweighed the good. Get rid of travel club they’re bad for your business.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the resort, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Luis at the front desk and Manager Dariel. From the moment we arrived, Luis greeted us with genuine warmth, professionalism, and an incredibly positive attitude that made us feel immediately welcome. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and was always friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay.

Manager Dariel was equally outstanding. You can truly see his dedication to guest satisfaction and the high standards he sets for the resort. He took the time to ensure we were enjoying every aspect of our visit and made us feel valued as guests. His leadership clearly reflects in the excellent service provided by the entire team.

The resort itself was beautiful, relaxing, and well-maintained, but it was the exceptional hospitality from Luis and Dariel that made our trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for top-notch service and a memorable vacation experience!

We visited the resort for a wedding and stayed 5 nights. It was not enough time to even explore the whole resort as it is very large compared to other places we stayed. The food was better than average at the buffet and we had a tomahawk steak dinner on the beach which was the best meal we had there. The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. We did not enjoy how some of the vendors on the resort were a little pushy but understand they all just are trying to make a living. The beach wasn’t as nice or as clean as some, but they have a lot of coastline to maintain. Overall I would recommend the resort if you are looking for a quality stay at a reasonable price.

Bhogaley, indian Cuisine is the best. The chef Mr Dayal Singh is excellent.
The Italian place was horrible and not at all accommodating to our food allergies .
Shame on them. Very disappointing staff.

Overall good experience but unfortunately no one understands English well so hard to communicate.

The place is definitely a bit older, but the resort is nice. The place is super big, so pools and places don’t feel crowded. Grounds are kept well and pools are clean. Loved that the beach is so close and absolutely gorgeous. Rooms are a bit older, but still decent. One of the things we didn’t like is that we couldn’t do any sport activities in the evening at the sports area because they wouldn’t leave the lights on after 7pm. We would’ve loved to play when it was so hot.

Also it says 24 hour room service is included but did not say they charge each time for this, this was disappointing also. All inclusive means everything is included. Need to update what is exactly included so there are no surprises when you get there

This was the most disappointing hotel experience I have had in over ten years of traveling to warm destinations. Upon arrival, there were close to 10 issues in our room that required attention. Despite multiple visits to the front desk, it took 8 requests before meaningful assistance was provided.
The air conditioning did not function properly and required escalation before it was taken seriously. It took about 5 days to partially resolve the issue, and it was never fully fixed. As a result, approximately 3 to 4 days of our 9‑day vacation were spent dealing with room issues and waiting for repairs rather than enjoying the resort.
While the hotel itself is pleasant and I understand that room issues can occur, the repeated lack of timely response significantly impacted our experience. Had it not been for Marina and Dariel at the customer service desk, who were very sensitive to the issues I was having, and eventually acknowledged those issues and their urgency, the experience would have been even more negative.
Given the cost of this trip, losing 3 to 4 days of our vacation due to unresolved issues was extremely frustrating and left a lasting negative impression.

Also important to note that paying for a pool side room at this resort doesn't mean you will have a pool side room. We ended up garden side and the people at the front desk told me that this resort sees a pool side room as a room not too far from the pool. In ALL hotels I have been to before, this has never happened.

I had a great experience staying here. The decor was beautiful and gave the hotel a really welcoming feel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The food options were very good, with plenty of variety, and everything I tried was satisfying. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, comfortable, and exactly what you want when visiting such a beautiful destination.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again. I loved this place and would happily recommend it to others.

The staff aren’t very friendly in all places and not all have great English, tips are expected to get better/friendly service. Our server at the sports bar was very unpleasant. Several people in my group had issues with their rooms, but ours was great! Housekeepers were very friendly, and easy check in. The resort itself was huge and close to the water! Food was average, and drinks were great :)

Indian restaurant was terrible, the two buffet options were good tho’. Had requested for a king bed, got two double beds instead. They will take away 3 hours from your vacation to sell you membership, which is sham.

Loved the stay at this hotel. We recived a room upgrade which was very much appropriate since it was 5 steps away from the beach. Edwin or concierge was amazing. He helped daily with restaurant reservation,checked in to make sure everything was okay during our stay.

Check‑in was very slow even with online check‑in done in advance, which set a bad first impression. The app was unreliable and not intuitive, and event schedules were often wrong or in the wrong location, with almost no proactive communication from staff.Dining and snacks
No à la carte restaurants were available to reserve for the entire stay, and every day required begging Guest Services for a table while some guests were seated as walk‑ins, making the system feel arbitrary and unfair. Snack options were weak, especially after breakfast ends around 10:30 and after dinner, and some hot items, like eggs under heat lamps, were served cold.Staff and atmosphere
Many staff members did not seem friendly and at times appeared annoyed, and limited English made resolving simple issues harder. Cleaning staff were loud in the morning, there was no music at the pools, and there were not enough pool chairs, which hurt the overall vacation vibe.Room design
The bathroom layout offered very little privacy, which was uncomfortable when sharing a room.Overall, it is a nice‑looking property, but poor restaurant access, bad communication, and inconsistent service made the stay much more frustrating than a five‑day all‑inclusive vacation should be.

We arrived at 12:45 pm and couldn’t check in early because housekeeping was still cleaning the room. They handed us bracelets for the buffet and told us to wait. We returned to the lobby at 3 pm, but the room wasn’t ready until 3:30. The bellboy escorted us, only to find staff still dealing with an “issue” and they promised we’d be let in soon. After a 15‑minute wait we were told we’d be moved to a different room. At check‑in I asked to reserve a table at a restaurant for the next day; the staff advises that since I booked with Expedia, Edwin, would be my concierge and would handle it, but I never heard from him—unlike other resorts that usually WhatsApp. Housekeeping only made the beds and changed towels; they didn’t sweep, mop, or wipe down counters daily. At the buffet I saw cooks and waitstaff arguing. The waitress/waiters were inattentive, often not offering water or drinks until we were done with our food. We had a sofa bed with no blanket; when I requested one I was given just a sheet. When I inquired about New Year’s Eve dining, I was told we’d have to use the buffet. No one mentioned that a reservation was required for the gala‑style buffet, and I only found out as a line was forming outside the buffet at 10 am that morning.

My recent trip to the Grand Palladium Palace Resort & Spa was hands down the worst vacation I have ever taken.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff was not interested in making guests feel welcome or comfortable. The customer service was abysmal—85% staff members were consistently rude, unhelpful, and downright unpleasant. Instead of being greeted with warmth or hospitality. The staff’s attitude was far from professional; they seemed more interested in rushing us away than assisting us with any questions or concerns. On the first day, we had no clean washcloth, no pillowcase, and no sheets. Went to the front desk three different times before we received clean sheets and rags four hours later.

The food was another major disappointment. It was consistently bland, poorly prepared. My husband got food poisoning. We only had the opportunity to try one restaurant within the resort ; fortunately, we had to eat at the buffet for all our meals. We were told all restaurants were fully booked and had no available reservations. Overall, the resort fell short of even the most basic expectations for customer service and comfort. It was a frustrating, disheartening experience that left us wishing we had chosen a different destination. I would not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing or enjoyable vacation. Save your money and time. there are far better options out there that genuinely value their guests and provide quality service.

We arrived late in the evening on Thursday Dec 11. It took them an 1.5 to get us checked in. We dropped our items off to our room,then went to eat at the buffet. When we got back to our room it was extremely warm, our TV wasn't working in one of our bedrooms, as well as the mini bar. We contacted the front. An hr later they sent someone up to assist. They wasn't successful with anything. Friday morning we called back down bc we slept very uncomfortable, a s covered with sweat. We called back down to the front for assistance around 9a. They sent someone at 5pm. They still wasn't able to fix,the ac nor tv, and ended up having to switch the fridge out. Throughout the night we called and complained. Sat an Expedia agent arrived and switched our room at 3pm. The new room ac worked,but the room had a strong sewage smell that made us sick! Every restaurant we tried to make a reservation with said they were full, we walked to them to them thinking maybe someone canceled. Upon arrival they were completely empty with only five table being occupied. They finally got us in at the steak restaurant. When we were seated our table were covered with ants and were crawling on my daughter's arm! This vacation was a complete nightmare!!!!!!!!! I'm not stop with just this review, I'm taking this as high as possible!!

The Perfect, The good and The bad.

Perfect - Cleanliness all around, Strong WIFI in the whole resort, Service was great.

Good - good but limited entertainment, may be its due to off season(Nov, 2025); food quality was very good, but labels were all messed up, so be aware if you have specific dietary requirements; Bathrooms were clean but dated.

Bad - The check in process was extremely slow. This needs improvement. it took us more than 1.5 hours to get us checked in to our rooms.

We had the best experience at Grand Palladium Punta Cana. Right from the moment we set foot on the property, Marina (manager of relationship services) met with us. Juan (check in at Punta Cana) was amazing. He made check in a breeze. Carlos (manager) from Bavaro coordinated our experience and made us feel at home. Juan and Marina made sure we had a great room, that we knew all the services the resort offered, assisted with a la carte bookings. We also did a dinner on the beach and they did such an amazing job putting this together. They were flexible when it was to rain on the night of our dinner. Hose Cruz (golf cart) drove us in the resort. He is amazing. Our child has food allergies. The chefs at eat restaurant came out to talk to us, including at the buffets. Chef Marvyn from Las Torres ran the breakfast buffet and he made sure the grills were cleaned prior to making my child’s crepes.
Ruth from the pool bar is the best. She made the drinks perfectly. She was always pleasant, always remembered our drinks before we even ordered.
Aris, Marian, Dani, and the woman from PoP did such a good job keeping the entertainment flowing. I loved the bachacha and the pool aerobics.
We look forward to many more vacations at this resort. It was our second time back and it did not disappoint.

The Guest services manager Carlos and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely incredible! Every staff member we encountered—from the restaurants to the grounds—were warm, welcoming, and attentive. We met so may new friends.
We checked in with Jaun who was absolutely amazing and was happy to help with anything we needed.
Fernando, Sandra and Ruth at the Saona pool are the absolute best, we became friends in our last visit, and were very happy to see them again this year.
Managers, Richard and Angel took care of our every need and made us feel special every single day. Carlos at El dorado was the best waiter, always happy and smiling. I truly hope I’m not forgetting anyone because every staff member made us feel very welcome!

Old rooms showers leaking they did offer to upgrade us with my VIP benefits but it was a couples room no privacy as it was open room concept and see through bathroom doors and we had our child with us..

We had the best time at grand palladium, the staff made the experience so smooth and enjoyable! Steven the bar tender was excellent Barack Obama the entertainer was so fun, Edwin was always ready to help with anything that we needed. Luis was always attentive ready to help and figure out anything we needed. The entire staff made this experience unforgettable we will be coming back!!

My 4 Day stay

It was a beautiful experience. I e enjoyed ourselves. My only issue was with the guys driving the carts. Each time we asked for a ride, they would be like we are not going that way. For this reason we were lost a lot. This was 80 percent of the time. Never happened at the grand palladium in Mexico or Jamaica. That’s one of the perks of coming. Who wants to be drunk and lost lol.

the app does not work (cannot make a dinner reservation ) some of the restaurants were closed so buffet food was the only option left which felt a better choice to some of the speciality restaurants we were able to get into
