I had a great experience staying here. The decor was beautiful and gave the hotel a really welcoming feel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The food options were very good, with plenty of variety, and everything I tried was satisfying. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, comfortable, and exactly what you want when visiting such a beautiful destination.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again. I loved this place and would happily recommend it to others.

The staff aren’t very friendly in all places and not all have great English, tips are expected to get better/friendly service. Our server at the sports bar was very unpleasant. Several people in my group had issues with their rooms, but ours was great! Housekeepers were very friendly, and easy check in. The resort itself was huge and close to the water! Food was average, and drinks were great :)

Restaurants were not available, ended up in buffet for most dinners. The app doesn’t work for dinner reservations, one has to wake up at 9 am to go to the front desk to book. Indian restaurant was terrible, the two buffet options were good tho’. Had requested for a king bed, got two double beds instead. They will take away 3 hours from your vacation to sell you membership, which is sham.

Loved the stay at this hotel. We recived a room upgrade which was very much appropriate since it was 5 steps away from the beach. Edwin or concierge was amazing. He helped daily with restaurant reservation,checked in to make sure everything was okay during our stay.

The coffee shop also made amazing coffee.

Check‑in was very slow even with online check‑in done in advance, which set a bad first impression. The app was unreliable and not intuitive, and event schedules were often wrong or in the wrong location, with almost no proactive communication from staff.Dining and snacks
No à la carte restaurants were available to reserve for the entire stay, and every day required begging Guest Services for a table while some guests were seated as walk‑ins, making the system feel arbitrary and unfair. Snack options were weak, especially after breakfast ends around 10:30 and after dinner, and some hot items, like eggs under heat lamps, were served cold.Staff and atmosphere
Many staff members did not seem friendly and at times appeared annoyed, and limited English made resolving simple issues harder. Cleaning staff were loud in the morning, there was no music at the pools, and there were not enough pool chairs, which hurt the overall vacation vibe.Room design
The bathroom layout offered very little privacy, which was uncomfortable when sharing a room.Overall, it is a nice‑looking property, but poor restaurant access, bad communication, and inconsistent service made the stay much more frustrating than a five‑day all‑inclusive vacation should be.

We arrived at 12:45 pm and couldn’t check in early because housekeeping was still cleaning the room. They handed us bracelets for the buffet and told us to wait. We returned to the lobby at 3 pm, but the room wasn’t ready until 3:30. The bellboy escorted us, only to find staff still dealing with an “issue” and they promised we’d be let in soon. After a 15‑minute wait we were told we’d be moved to a different room. At check‑in I asked to reserve a table at a restaurant for the next day; the staff advises that since I booked with Expedia, Edwin, would be my concierge and would handle it, but I never heard from him—unlike other resorts that usually WhatsApp. Housekeeping only made the beds and changed towels; they didn’t sweep, mop, or wipe down counters daily. At the buffet I saw cooks and waitstaff arguing. The waitress/waiters were inattentive, often not offering water or drinks until we were done with our food. We had a sofa bed with no blanket; when I requested one I was given just a sheet. When I inquired about New Year’s Eve dining, I was told we’d have to use the buffet. No one mentioned that a reservation was required for the gala‑style buffet, and I only found out as a line was forming outside the buffet at 10 am that morning.

My recent trip to the Grand Palladium Palace Resort & Spa was hands down the worst vacation I have ever taken.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff was not interested in making guests feel welcome or comfortable. The customer service was abysmal—85% staff members were consistently rude, unhelpful, and downright unpleasant. Instead of being greeted with warmth or hospitality. The staff’s attitude was far from professional; they seemed more interested in rushing us away than assisting us with any questions or concerns. On the first day, we had no clean washcloth, no pillowcase, and no sheets. Went to the front desk three different times before we received clean sheets and rags four hours later.

The food was another major disappointment. It was consistently bland, poorly prepared. My husband got food poisoning. We only had the opportunity to try one restaurant within the resort ; fortunately, we had to eat at the buffet for all our meals. We were told all restaurants were fully booked and had no available reservations. Overall, the resort fell short of even the most basic expectations for customer service and comfort. It was a frustrating, disheartening experience that left us wishing we had chosen a different destination. I would not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing or enjoyable vacation. Save your money and time. there are far better options out there that genuinely value their guests and provide quality service.

We arrived late in the evening on Thursday Dec 11. It took them an 1.5 to get us checked in. We dropped our items off to our room,then went to eat at the buffet. When we got back to our room it was extremely warm, our TV wasn't working in one of our bedrooms, as well as the mini bar. We contacted the front. An hr later they sent someone up to assist. They wasn't successful with anything. Friday morning we called back down bc we slept very uncomfortable, a s covered with sweat. We called back down to the front for assistance around 9a. They sent someone at 5pm. They still wasn't able to fix,the ac nor tv, and ended up having to switch the fridge out. Throughout the night we called and complained. Sat an Expedia agent arrived and switched our room at 3pm. The new room ac worked,but the room had a strong sewage smell that made us sick! Every restaurant we tried to make a reservation with said they were full, we walked to them to them thinking maybe someone canceled. Upon arrival they were completely empty with only five table being occupied. They finally got us in at the steak restaurant. When we were seated our table were covered with ants and were crawling on my daughter's arm! This vacation was a complete nightmare!!!!!!!!! I'm not stop with just this review, I'm taking this as high as possible!!

Perfect - Cleanliness all around, Strong WIFI in the whole resort, Service was great.

Good - good but limited entertainment, may be its due to off season(Nov, 2025); food quality was very good, but labels were all messed up, so be aware if you have specific dietary requirements; Bathrooms were clean but dated.

Bad - The check in process was extremely slow. This needs improvement. it took us more than 1.5 hours to get us checked in to our rooms.

We had the best experience at Grand Palladium Punta Cana. Right from the moment we set foot on the property, Marina (manager of relationship services) met with us. Juan (check in at Punta Cana) was amazing. He made check in a breeze. Carlos (manager) from Bavaro coordinated our experience and made us feel at home. Juan and Marina made sure we had a great room, that we knew all the services the resort offered, assisted with a la carte bookings. We also did a dinner on the beach and they did such an amazing job putting this together. They were flexible when it was to rain on the night of our dinner. Hose Cruz (golf cart) drove us in the resort. He is amazing. Our child has food allergies. The chefs at eat restaurant came out to talk to us, including at the buffets. Chef Marvyn from Las Torres ran the breakfast buffet and he made sure the grills were cleaned prior to making my child’s crepes.
Ruth from the pool bar is the best. She made the drinks perfectly. She was always pleasant, always remembered our drinks before we even ordered.
Aris, Marian, Dani, and the woman from PoP did such a good job keeping the entertainment flowing. I loved the bachacha and the pool aerobics.
We look forward to many more vacations at this resort. It was our second time back and it did not disappoint.

It was a beautiful experience. I e enjoyed ourselves. My only issue was with the guys driving the carts. Each time we asked for a ride, they would be like we are not going that way. For this reason we were lost a lot. This was 80 percent of the time. Never happened at the grand palladium in Mexico or Jamaica. That’s one of the perks of coming. Who wants to be drunk and lost lol.

Internet worked for the most part.
The transportation was ok as well.
What made this stay so bad was the customer service. 99.9% of the time the staff were rude from the lobby staff to the host and server. You would say thank you and no respond.
I had one server telling me to read the menu properly because what I was saying was not in the menu instead of helping me by seeing what I was reading from the menu. As it turned out when I went for the second time the other server told me that I was pronouncing it right.
They were annoyed when my little cousin and his father didn’t understand Spanish. I saw eye rolling a few times even though I was their translator.
I went to the lobby to buy excursions and kept getting different prices. We just decided to buy the excursions from Expedia.
I do see myself going back to the Dominican Republic but not staying at this hotel.

everyday the same food . quality and food did not taste good. Staff in the restraunt’s rude difficult to communicate 90 % of the staff did not speak english. Staff never acknowledged your present to order a drink . They will sit you in the buffet with no utensils will give you an attitude when you ask for them. There flys all over the food. Nice place, quiet, we stayed at the loft very convenient with 2 teenagers. Nice room. we have to walk a lot, the golf carts don’t pick you up if you’re not a member,they completely ignored us and said it’s just for members, they have the other transportation but you have to wait a bit longer for them, the minibar in our room didn’t have water for 2 days we have to walked to the lobby to get a cup of water. I called so many times and asked for a bottle of water for my daughter she was taking medication. It took them a long time to bring it
they brought it the day before we left. Ramon is AMAZING he took care of us in the pool near the lobby. Overall good place.

Room was disgusting, even after being put in the highest level room it was still gross. There cleaning standards were absolutely below standards. Continued to make our bed with the same sheets we threw on the floor for cleaning, mildew on the sheets, small bugs everywhere. I can go on and on. The hotel needs a huge make over as it’s old and outdated. Staff were absolutely amazing though and tried their best to make us feel better. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a higher end accommodation.

Absolutely incredible experience. We had a concierge service and Juan was amazing! Whenever we needed anything he helped us right away and made reservations for us at the restaurants that needed them. The resort doesn’t have a shuttle to or from the airport but Juan ordered us a taxi to take us when we left.
Everything was very clean and the staff were polite, the beach was just outside our room and it was the softest white sand we’ve ever seen. There was seaweed that would get washed up but they did very good at clearing it out everyday.
Lots of different activities to purchase at the check in building, I would recommend finding packages that offer multiple activities for the price.
Only downside was some of the sales people on the beach with jewelry or parrot pictures priced things very expensive that you could easily find at the gift shop for a much more reasonable price. You could usually get a lower price with some things but it depends on how much you’re getting to even the cost out. They all tried to sell us weed once they heard we were from America, but it is very illegal in the Dominican Republic.
Overall we enjoyed our time and experience there for our honeymoon and will probably go back in the future with a group of friends.

The room they assigned me was very humid, it had a superficial cleaning, I had to wait for them to give me another room and the second the bathroom smelled of urine, he definitely did not return to this hotel.

Celebrated my son’s first birthday at this resort. Amazing experience. Special thanks to Elvis for warm welcome and hospitality. Thanks to Miguel and Britney to make my son birthday special with gifting him the balloons and candles. Special thanks to the man who checked us in (sorry forgot his name) for sending the best birthday cake to our room. Overall experience was great. I wish the resort had more vegetarian food options.

From the first moment we walked on the property, Edwin made us feel welcome . He made us feel comfortable and was able to accommodate any request we made . He booked the restaurant reservations for us and checked in daily to see if we needed anything . He was always checking in to ensure we had the best possible experience. I traveled with my teenage daughter and we had a very nice time! Our Expedia concierge Juan was fabuloso! He assisted with dining reservations, birthday arrangements, excurions and transportation and everything else!

Our dining hostesses are like family now! The food was delicious at every dining location that we tried, except La Uva. Te schedule for rhe restaurants did differ from what was posted in the app and the early afternoon food options were limited or cloaes. Plan ahead!

The staff were ALL amazing and thegrounds were well-maintained aand beautiful. The variety of pools was great. The beach had a ton of kelp and seaweed, but was still enjoyable. Watersporrs were either free or affordable. Ask for Machete.

The POP staff and shows were all enjoyable. The activities kept things interesting.

My inpy complaint was too many vendors tying to sell massages, excursions, jewlery, souvenirs, photos, etc...it became a bother not being able to walk from one place to another without being harassed multiple times. Beware of the team offering a free gift an special breakfast.. it's a vacation ownership tour.

Carry cash to avoid credit card concession fees.

Overall, we would go back and hope to return very soon! Loved our experience!

The staff here for me gets a 5 star. There would be no hotel without the staff . Always smiling , caring and being appreciative . They are very helpful and goes the extra mile to ensure my family and I had the best time.
Edwin was an amazing concierge, he attended to our every need, reservation, transportation , food and room improvement . Our room remote and tv was not working and Edwin got us a new room with working appliances.
He is very easy to talk to and understand.

Luisito was pleasant and very helpful to the family . He always ensures our needs were met .

Juan was our driver , our entertainment , our friend and our security . Every and anything that was needed.
He ensured we were ok . The staff was amazing amazing beyond words . We will return just for the staff and their customer service skills .

1500 Characters is not enough to tell you how terrible this property was! Terrible food! Tiny sliver of beach right next to huge exhaust and noise spewing boat hub. Waited 45 minutes to check in only to fight to get the loft that I purchased instead of something smaller they tried to con me into taking. BEWARE...when they say that you're a VIP and they have a special meal with massages planned for you...THEY ARE LYING AND ONLY TRYING TO DRAG YOU AWAY FOR A TIMESHARE PRESENTATION!!! I've stayed at many all exclusive resorts under many brands and Grand Palladium is by far the worst! I would never even consider staying at one of their resorts again!

Our stay was really nice. The amenities are excellent, and the hotel staff was very accommodating. Our representative, Edwin, helped us with dinner reservations, and making sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and we recommend it to anyone looking to visit the hotel.
