The staff is so friendly and accommodating trying to always help make your stay more comfortable. They helped us with Tuk tuks, laundry, early check in and late check out and pretty much everything else we needed. It’s a lovely small hotel with beautiful gardens and little bungalows with a porch. Location is excellent about 15 minutes walking to Sukhothai Historial Park and there are many cafes and restaurants along the way. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

My second time staying at this hotel. Staffs are all friendly and helpful. Clean room and all area of the hotel. I got a room right in front of their lotus pond. I don't get a chance to sit on the balcony to relax and enjoy the view. I love to stay here because of the peaceful of the place. They do have a nice size pool and dining area. This trip it rains every day so didn't get to use the pool. Next visit. If you need transportation you just ask the hotel front desk to call Tuk Tuk for local or you hire the private car /van for the day, 8 hrs.

Read the review shown at Le Charme website. It is accurate. I was so impressed by the landscaping and architecture of the property that I ended taking more pictures of the resort than I took at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The only thing I missed was having a big coushie armchair to relax in.

So easy to get the historical park. Went at 0630, saw everything, back by 0830. I forgot about breakfast. At 0930 a restaurant staff member knocked on my door and offered to bring me breakfast. Wow! It was so good. Such a special place.

Cons: The personnel does not speak English much. Just basic words. Do not expect some explanations or suggestions. It is a long walk to the seven eleven store. It is very dark at night. Not much ambiance at this hotel, it is very quiet.

This hotel was a nice onde located within many plants almost seemed like you're in the middle of a jungle. It's abit far from many things but reception can always get you a tuk-tuk best lil transportation service all over thai.. Pool is awesome to relax in the afternoon and swim while it rained poured on us.

The stay was amazing. There was an issue with our room and the staff were amazing and gave us a new room that was amazing. I don't expect hotels to be perfect and in this case they made up for an issue with great service. The room was very comfortable with a nice shower and balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. We ordered room service for one meal and it was great. The breakfast was a great variety and tasted good. The pool was nice and refreshing and we got a massage and that was worth the money. I highly recommend this resort and the city. Great get-a-way!

We had a wonderful stay at Le Charme. Nice room surrounded by water but no moskitos. Nice pool and great breakfast. Just too bad they did not have more than 2 rental bikes -and forgot to tell us that we could rent some next door. Had booked one Night but decided to stay a second Night.

Not recommended - noisy rooms

Hotel is a bit like a camping ground.
We had 2 Premium Rooms; they are more expensive as they are little stand-alone houses.
But feels like camping; not really comfortable; bathroom is a joke.
And the worst: they are next to the breakfast area where they start preparing with lots of noise from 6 am onwards.
Breakfast is low quality (ham not tasty); and looks really messy after a large group has left.
We ask manager for explanations, but never received an answer.

Conclusion: Never again!

Nice Hotel next to the Historical Park

We spent 2 nights in the Le Charme Sukhothai. The rooms are nice and big , in a very nice park with a pond next to the rooms . The Hotel is situated next to the historical center and there is a nice restaurant in front of the Hotel. Only opportunity for improvement is that the Hotel rooms would need a bit of more maintenance. Overall a good address

Great room and resort for the money. Spacious with a nice patio in a lovely garden setting. The pool is excellent, especially after walking around the ruins all day. Nice buffet breakfast. The only drawback is being a bit far from the town. Too far too walk comfortably in the heat of the day. They have bikes to rent at 50 baht, but no shuttle or anything for when you leave or if you want to pop into town. Have to call a tuk tuk and wait. Very isolated. Oh, and don't eat at The Rise across the street. Horrible Indian food. Eat at Le Charme or Sokuthai kitchen, also across the street. But the ambience of the hotel is top notch if you want a quiet getaway.

Get away from it all in Sukhothai

A very nice hotel, with beautiful grounds and a nice pool. Relatively close to the historical park, although a bit of a hike. Bicycles are available for a fee - they are in poor condition, and sized for Thais (very small), but very useful for getting around. A very nice breakfast. Service at breakfast and at the hotel was inconsistent. Overall, a beautiful place to stay.

A relaxing \"must stay\" resort hotel...

From our very early arrival before 11 A.M., to the very last minutes of our stay, we were totally impressed by the exceptional level of service, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness of all the staff here. We were made to feel as if we were the only people that the staff had to take care of, and by the time we had to leave, it seemed that we were really visiting family, instead of being at a hotel property. The rooms were large, spotlessly clean, well furnished, and the beds quite comfortable. The hotel is well situated on a side street, away from the noise and bustle of the main highway, while still being very near the Sukhothai Historical Park and the evening market. The reasonably priced food in the Sunset Restaurant was excellently prepared and served without any delays, even when very busy. The landscaping, gardens, and water features surrounding the pool area, and throughout the property contributed immensely to the relaxing feeling we had while enjoying our stay here. We will most certainly make this one of our \"must stay\" locations as we travel in this area of Thailand in the future.

I think the name says it all. This place was so cute and charming. The room was spacious and super clean and I absolutely loved the little houses with the pond in between and the private patios. This resort was so peaceful and relaxing. The location is unbeatable. You can walk to the Sukhothai Historical Park it's so close. After a full day of sightseeing I enjoyed the pool and was joined by practically everyone else staying at the hotel, was very nice ambiance with the pool-side massages and all - really a paradise! I ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this hotel if planning on overnight visit to Sukhothai!

A lovely resort and I really enjoyed my stay there. The resort was charming & comfortable. The bungalows with balconies around the pond are beautiful. Although it was mostly clean, the air con remote was filthy, there were urine-stains on the toilet seat and the shower drain drained very slowly. The staff were always polite and courteous. However, they could have been more forthcoming about restaurant, and breakfast bar opening hours. When I hired a bike, they could have suggested how to get there and asked if I needed a map. I was leaving on a very late night train and since it was low season (less than 20% full), I asked if I could stay later and check out at maybe about 6pm. They said this wasn't possible. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, and appropriate for a three star hotel, with both Thai and western options. I think that ALL hotel rooms should have in-room safes so I was disappointed especially as they explicitly say they do in the description (they also don't have tea/coffee making facilities or phones in most rooms but claim to. I rented a bike for 50 baht per day, and it was a lovely and convenient way to see the park. There were many mosquitoes although I knew about this in advance. The whole of Old Sukhothai seems to have this problem after dark. The balcony was a lovely place to sit at other times. The swimming pool was refreshing and very clean. Wifi was very good and there were plenty of sockets around the room. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Disappointed! No credit cards rude management

Cute on the exterior, but they don't honor most of what is on their web site. They would not take my credit card for food, massage, or extra fees, nor did they help at all when I was 200 baht for the bus ride to the airport--that I had to schedule as they failed to answer one of the 5 emails I sent asking for transportation assistance. Of course, the fact I was short cash because they refused to accept cards was of no concern to the manager. She suggested I hire a tuk tuk (even though they had 6 front office staff standing around to take me to a bank about 45 min away and then return to catch the bus, which would be there in 15 minutes. Great customer service! The bike rentals are a bit sketchy, as some of the peddles are lose and fall out when peddling. The massage therapist is great; however it is extremely challenging to relax as the massage mat is on the ground adjacent to the pool. This means you are constantly being eaten by bugs and if the pool is full of loud, boisterous teenagers playing water polo, you will be splashed endlessly and hit with the volley ball multiple times during your massage. The electric goes out when you leave the room, so be prepared for a hot room and none of your electronics to be charged when you return to the room. If you want to rent the bike for an hour before you leave, I was charged a full day rate as that's their policy. Close to historical park. Don't deliver on what they advertise.

Charming Room but not so charming services

This hotel is over priced for the services you get. The internet never Works in Your room. The front desk will even argue With you about it Works because it works on their smart phone and blame you for having an iphone/ mac vs. getting an IT person to fix the internet signal or get a router extender for the signals to hit your room. This is unprofessional to blame the customer on having the a device that isnt Samsung Product. Also, the TV has barely any channels. its all in thai or News channels so if you want to unwind and watch a good Movie--- go to another hotel. The staff barely speaks English....frustrating when the international traveling Language for the Whole Word is English! The delux room itself is Nice, but you get an old analog TV. This hotel has alot of potential because the property and location is Nice, but the services need to change for the better so it can truelly be called *LE CHARM*.

Quiet but mosquitoes oh my

My sister and I traveled through Thailand. Our stay in Sukhothai was close to the historical district with just a bike trip away. They rented bikes for 50 baht per day while you can get them for 30 baht per day right at the gate of the historical site. However, without the bike, we would have spent a lot more money on tuk-tuks or other means of transportation. It is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile away from a main road and once you reach there, it is easy to catch a bus into old town or new sukhothai. It was very quaint and I would definitely stay there again. Bring your bug spray! The beds were extremely hard. I think we slept on box springs.

The location was ok for visiting the Historical Park but we found the staff to be unfriendly compared to previous reports. On our second night we went to eat in the restaurant only to find it was closed to guests as there was some sort of private party on. We went to the
nearest restaurant called Sinvana and regretted it the next day!! The staff at Le Charme did not inform us about the closed restaurant and when we returned at lunchtime to have a rest and a light lunch, the staff were very unfriendly and we felt that we were unwanted. If you can find another hotel nearby choose that one.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area. It's very close to the Sukothai park, 10min by bike which you can rent at the hotel (1£/day). The food at the hotel was good and inexpensive. Good cocktails as well. It's probably one of the best option in the area (food wise) since the old town is quite far from the old town. There is a shuttle bus which takes you from/to Sukhotai airport for 600THB. It's not cheap but trouble free.

We stayed because we wanted to check out the Sukhothai ruins. Very close to gate so we were able to rent bikes from the hotel. It was the off season and felt like no one else was staying there. But it was a beautiful location. We were in a bungalow type room. Restaurant was ok, missed the buffet breakfast which was by the pool. Cool pool, which they turned on for us. Overall great service and cute place to stay if you want to check out the ruins.

Nice tropical retreat from the busy Historical Prk

Makes a lovely impression when you arrive at night, with the lush landscaping and lighting. Reception had our room key and breakfast coupons ready in an envelope when we drove up. We thought the breakfast buffet and the breakfast staff were both superior. I'm a gardener back in Seattle, so I really appreciated how impressive their landscaping is. Quite the botanical collection. We liked how easy it was to cycle to the Historical Park, as they have some rented bikes onside. One morning, there were no bikes left in our extra tall size and they were kind enough to drive us into the old city at no charge and get two more in our size. They also drove us at no charge to meet our transport at the designated pickup point on the main road. Their swimming pool is a nice feature, and cute with ceramic elephants shooting streams of water into the pool. Strangely, there was no poolside service for us, though, including towels, and staff walked by as if we were not there. Also, our room was not made up, even though we had put out the sign on the door. The only other complaint was that the wifi seemed to be cutting out while we were there, thought this was fixed before our departure.

Nous n'avons pas retrouvé les correspondances sur le terrain avec certaines photos publiées.
L'eau de la piscine était trouble.
Pas de restaurant ouvert sauf pour le petit déjeuner. Ils nous ont indiqué le restaurant en face de l'hôtel (correct).
Nous avons passé la nuit du samedi au dimanche dans cet hôtel et avons appris par hasard que le site historique était illuminé ce soit-là. L'hôtel nous a indiqué des horaires erronées, et nous a précisé que c'était gratuit alors que c'était payant.
Par ailleurs, nous leur avons demandé de nous trouver un taxi pour aller à Chiang Maï. Si le chauffeur était gentil et le véhicule en bon état, nous avons quand même perdu 1 heure car le chauffeur ne connaissait pas le centre historique de cette ville, où notre hôtel suivant se trouvait.
Chambres propres.
Hôtel bien situé par rapport aux sites.
Location de vélos proposée (moyen de locomotion conseillé pour aller sur les sites), mais vélos en mauvais état.
