We had a great stay at Sukhothai Garden Hotel in Old Town. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and everything was very clean. The rooms are small, but perfectly fine for a short stay when you’re mostly out exploring.

The bathroom is an all-in-one situation — toilet, shower, and sink share the same space — so after a shower, everything is wet. It didn’t bother us, but more pampered travelers might need a moment to adjust. On the plus side, the shower had excellent water pressure.

Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. There were several hot dishes (eggs, rice, curry, meats, soups), plus coffee, tea, cereal, toast, sweets, and fresh fruit. A really strong start to the day.
The grounds are compact but pleasant, and the free bikes were a huge bonus for exploring the nearby historical park.

Only real downside: the bed is extremely firm. Not a deal breaker, but it might as well have been a very enthusiastic box spring.

For the price and amazing location, it was absolutely worth it.

Daily Free 24hrs cofee, tea, water and fruits which we great after a long walk in the historical park
Free bicycle to reach the Sukhothai historical park, also the hotel is within walking distance to old city, night street food, restaurants, 7-11, and the historical park too.
Air conditioning - good with blanket to keep warm
Weather was cold in the morning and night: wonderful time in Jan
Con: toilet bowl seat was broken but still useable, bed is comfortable but medium hard, old sewage system which gives out ammonia smell from sewage
Hotel operator and reception: was kind and helpful
Transport: no grab or taxi but on the main road there is a reliable taxi company which you can use

I have traveled to Sukhothai more than a dozen times over the decades. This time we chose to stay at Sukhothai Garden because of the great reviews. They are spot on. Sukhothai Garden is a lovely, family owned place near the main museum and a very short walk from the Historical Park entrance. Simple, clean rooms. Abundant and varied breakfast foods. Water and some fruit available throughout the day. Free bicycles to use around Sukhothai. Joy (the receptionist) and small staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to every need that we had. Great value for the price. We were here in the middle of the cool season, so I don’t know how the facilities and AC hold up to hot and rainy season conditions. But this short, two day stay with friends visiting from the United States was magical.

Welcoming, homey convenience in superb location

After a bumpy start with some difficulty communicating over the phone to arrange transfer from airport and missing the driver by a few moments, we still arrived early in the morning way before checkin. They were gracious and accommodating and fed us breakfast while the room was prepared and we quickly got settled and were able to have the full day to explore the spectacular sites.

They have many bikes to load to guests to explore the area with ease. While only a 10 minute walk to the gate, the overall area is immense and after thinking we would rent a golf cart, we needed more time and you couldn’t take on the public streets, so alas we needed a bicycle afterall. Great location with 2 7-11s within a short walk and a wonderful night market along the temple waterfront.

Rooms are not well insulated from heat or noisy neighbors, but the neighborhood is generally quiet, less the blaring music from one across the street ending before 8pm. A/C cools very well and all was very clean.

What beautiful people working at the hotel!!! The service is amazing, they made me feel at home. I can't be more grateful to them, the hotel is very cozy, close to everything you need to do in Sukhothai, and breakfast is beautiful, if I return to Sukhothai I will surely return to this hotel.

My friend and I were stayed in Sukhothai Garden from 6 Aug to 7 Aug. The receptionist is great and very helpful, during our check in, he shows us the facility of the hotel and the attractions of Sukhothai old town, also the staff was help to carry the luggage as we stayed at third floor. The environment is quite, clean and surrounded by nice garden. They also provide the free bicycle for guest and the hotel location is great too. It is around 10 mins walk from hotel to Sukhothai historical park. The breakfast they provided also fresh with many variety, I would very much stay in the Sukhothai Garden again if I come back here.

Spotlessly clean. Up to date. Well furnished and maintained. WiFi worked well. Ample buffet breakfast. Free coffee, water, tea and fruit (bananas) all day. Family-run and friendly. Good location - tucked away on side street (soi) 50 or so meters from the main road. Short walk to Sukhothai Historical Park. Great value for the money.

This accommodation is \"great\". We had a nice room with everything we needed located on the 3rd floor. Pleasant view from there. Not fancy but nice & clean. Breakfast was very tasty, the atmosphere quiet & staff very, very pleasant. The bikes were so fun! We biked along the paved trails taking pictures of Wats,
amidst rice fields. In the morning as we prepared to catch our 7:30 bus, we were encouraged not to leave with out breakfast & handed a little packed of fresh little bananas for our journey. Highly recommend.

Excellent value for your money!

Being an expat living in Bangkok, we came for a long weekend stay. No elevators, and the typical bathroom type you find in SE Asia, i.e., the whole bathroom floor gets wet once you take a shower. Having said that, we were amazed by the clean a/c room with clean bathroom and hot shower, delicious breakfast with loads of fruit, kind and caring receptionists, and the quiet neighborhood. If you don't need a swimming pool, this place is the best cost performing hotel we have experienced in Thailand!

An oasis in the heart of the old city...

I really loved this hotel. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly. The location is perfect, on the Sukothai Walking Street, about a 5 mins walk from the bus terminal in the Old City, free bicycle use to explore the town and the Historic sites, really comfy pillows, and a delicious breakfast buffet! I couldn't recommend this place more!

This was an amazing little hotel! The room was simple but clean. The free bikes made getting around Sukhothai so easy, and restaurants and a market were within short walking distance. Tea, coffee, and fruit were available all day, and the folks working at the hotel were kind and very helpful!

Lovely facilities, free bicycles, East and Western breakfast, AC, much thought given to guests comfort; located on quiet lane opposite 7-11 store and public Market, and 2 minutes on foot to Wintours. Hotel has great location within old city walls and near ruins.
Staff were exceptional from breakfast to helping us set up sunrise viewing and private tour to Sri Satchinali.
Rooms had everything fridge, safe, great bath, were very clean and well appointed.
Bicycles are the best way to get around and were included.
Lom and Fon Kitchen highly suggested for lunch or dinner.

Wow wow wow! I've stayed at places from hostel to Hilton/Park Hyatt but this place is just wonderful: the best money you can spend. They say one can only get two out of the three: price, quality and location, however this place is wonderful for all. Within minutes on foot from the bus station (Chiangmai and Bangkok) and the Park Entrance. Terrific service. No rip-off tuktuk/taxi trips. Great breakfast (they made breakfast for us very early in the morning before everyone else without our asking and gosh it was an excellent one -- so much food that we had to tell them to stop!) Clean rooms. What more can I ask for the little money we paid for the rooms? I'd give this place a 10 out of 5.

Tout était parfait. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu de nombreuses informations utiles sur le site. L'hotesse à l'accueil a même appelé une compagnie de bus pour avoir des renseignements sur un transfert. Durant le séjour, l'une d'entre nous s'était blessée et le personnel s'est précipité à la pharmacie pour acheter du désinfectant et des pansements et deux personnes se sont occupées de donner des soins. Du jamais vu ! Cet hotel est très bien situé, charmant, le service est irréprochable, tout est parfait. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Boissons en cas et fruits sont à disposition à volonté tout au long de la journée. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse infinie. Il ya des vélos à disposition. Tout est parfait. Je recommande à 200%

スコータイ旧市街に安く安心に泊まるならオススメです。ホテルというよりホステル、またはペンションという感じです。
家庭的なホスピタリティを感じられます。部屋はアジアの普通的なイメージです。清潔感を求める方はやめた方が良いです。しかし不潔という意味でなく綺麗に清掃はしておりますし、シーツとかも綺麗です。
防音も無いという部屋です。
朝ごはんはタイ料理でお母さんの手作り料理が並びます。美味しいです。
コーヒーや水はいつでも飲めるです。
自転車も無料で借りられるし、チェンマイやバンコクに行く高速バス停も直ぐでチケットも買えます。

3泊しました。
到着が明け方だったのですが、スタッフのおじさんとおばさんが出迎えてくれて、飲み物もフルーツも自由に食べて良い、朝食も時間になったら自由に食べて良いと言ってくれて親切に色々施設内のことも教えてくれました。
朝食は種類がたくさんで毎日少しずつメニューが変わるため、飽きませんでした。
地元の料理も用意されていたため、バンコクではなかなか食べられないものも食べられて嬉しかったです。
自転車を無料で貸して頂けるので好きな時間に遺跡観光ができました。
空気もおじさんが入れてくれます。
飼われてる猫ちゃんも可愛くて癒されました。
私たちはタイ式の方の部屋を選択したのですが、木造のため、隣の部屋の音が丸聞こえで落ち着きませんでした。
シャワーの水圧は弱く、温度もぬるめでした。
それ以外は快適で過ごしやすかったです。
とにかくみなさん優しくて親切でした。
またスコータイに行く際は利用したいです。

良い旅行が出来ました！

5月17日～19日に宿泊しました。スタッフの方は親切で、朝食も美味しかったです。これでもか！というくらい品数を出してくれました。
１、2分歩くと大通りでセブンイレブンもあり場所も良かったです。
無料のレンタサイクルで遺跡巡りをしましたが、遺跡も近くストレスなく観光できました。
ただアジアに行くとしょうがないですが、夜ヤモリ君が廊下に出てきます。部屋は入ってこないような作りになっていると思いますが、気にされる方は高級なホテルに泊まられた方が良いかと思います。
大満足の宿泊でした。
ホテルの方ありがとうございました！
