What's great:

Proximity to airport - walkable without stepping outside.
Great bathtub.
Wonderful view of the airport.
The woman who gave me a late check out and seeped happy to do so.
Efforts to translate English.

What is annoying:
* Three Hyatt's, so easy to get confused.
* No one will meet people at the arrival area to avoid confusion when requested.
* No one speaks English so it's multiple uses of google translate in a country that does it's best to block google.
* Hyatt has a maze of elevators with little or no signage.
* It's complete lack of signage \"to the lobby\" is (I learned later) replaced by dim, small projectors on the floor that are barely readable and not where you want to look for signs at eye level.

Poor service:
* In order to \"help the environment\" I was handed a bag of typical room toiletries at check in. When I asked why I had to carry my luggage and my toiletries to the room - a first - she pointed at an environmental sign. Apparently all you have to do to show concern for the environment is build a five star oppulent hotel, keep it very cold at 16 degrees (I never like or ask for this and it wastes a lot) and ask guests to carry their own toiletries to their rooms with an extra plastic bag to carry the toiletries. Who knew environmentalism was so easy.

No one offered to carry the luggage and reception gestered to the left for the elevators, only to find that all three elevators to the left did not go to the floor and I had to go back to reception.

Nice and modern airport hotel

Nice and modern airport hotel. The rooms are quite comfortable and the facilities are nice. Some things are not very convenient, like you have to walk a long way around to get to the lobby (main path is closed), but this kind of disruption is quite normal in China.

Generally I don’t leave reviews. I expected more from this hotel. Room was fine. It is convenient to the airport. The staff was helpful and nice.

Fitness facilities like pool and locker rooms didn’t open until 930 or 10 making it impossible to utilize well for anyone with a flight earlier than 1230. For an airport hotel this is disappointing. I feel I would have been better off staying an hour away using the facilities early and traveling to the airport. Went to the buffet dinner and though it was staged well the quality was poor and a lot of the items seemed to be sitting there for hours. Beer on draft empty and never refilled. It felt like the concept was to look like a 4-5 star hotel but to execute much lower.

I moved out to this hotel due to an incoming Typhoon. The hotel was on lock down, the airport closed however the staff was very accommodating, made sure all guests were well cared for, kept room service operating around the clock.

Hotel is very clean, staff could not be more friendly and accommodating.

I will most certainly be staying here on future trips to Shenzhen.

This location is inside the airport and it's super convenient if you are travelling by plane. However, there was a major cleanliness issue with the room. The sink was filled with dirty water and disgusting things. With the amount paid for the room, I don't think this is acceptable at all.

With this being said, I did give this feedback to the front desk, the staff was really nice and tried to see if there are things they can do to compensate.

I had an early flight from Ba’on Intl. Airport and the Hyatt Regency is the best choice for this situation. I’ve stayed at the neighboring Hyatt House and will choose the Regency in the future should I need quick, easy access to or from the Airport in the future.

We received outstanding services from the hotel staff. My mom and I stayed two nights in Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport in September. The location is very convenient. You can easily walk from your terminal to the hotel. There is a mass transit station in the airport which can take you to the city. My mom needed wheelchair services. The hotel staff provided the services with kindness and patience. The restaurant inside the hotel is great too! The foods are delicious, are authentic Chinese foods, and are reasonably priced. I feel the food is better compared to other 5-star hotels. Great experience! Will stay again.

There is nothing comparable to walking from the baggage claim area to the hotel lobby.
Remarkable hight standard hotel.
The only element that I don't like is the price but it coherent with the quality it offers.
Breakfast was high quality too.

The hotel is very nice. Way better than anything you find in the States. Service is also great at the registration desk as well as the restaurants. The only downside to the hotel is the location, which could be a plus for some. It is attached to the Shenzhen airport so it can be a pain to get in and out of. I enjoy walking around Shenzhen when I stay there and there just isn’t anything walkable from the hotel except the airport. If you’re flying into Shenzhen airport (I flew into Hong Kong), and you’re just staying for a night or two I would recommend this hotel.

Hyatt Regency Shenzhen is a conundrum of pros and cons. Visible from the airport it is about a 1 km walk even though it looks like 100 yards up and down up and down. Strange lobby is completely disconnected from the room area. The buffet was outstanding. Rooms are well equipped for the business traveler and slightly better then the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place on the other side of the airport transportation hall. If they could rebuild to make a decent lobby it would be a great hotel.
