The pillow was hard. The water for the shower was almost non existent. I would not recommend this place. I booked a superior room with sea view. It was very small.

The electricity to this hotel will frequently be turned off. The air conditioning will turn off if you set it below 78 degrees Fahrenheit. The bedspread and headboard were stained from looked to be by bodily fluid. The staff were extremely friendly but overall the property was extremely ran down. The pictures on Expedia are not accurate of what the hotel actually looks like. For example, the property is not on the beach, it's actually right next to the port and any beach you want to access requires transportation via a motorcycle/scooter or Tuk Tuk. They have taken pictures from resorts that are actually on the beach and posted them to their own website to deceive tourists. After my second night of no electricity and sweating the entire night, I politely asked the staff for an early checkout which they honored then proceeded to inform me I would receive a refund via Expedia for the remaining two nights. This did not occur unfortunately. Needless to say, avoid staying at any hotel or resort on Koh Larn as many of them are completely run down from the high-rate of tourism and the fact that you can be trapped on the island if you do not catch a speedboat or ferry before 5:00 pm.

On the second night, we experienced multiple power outages (which meant no water for periods of time), but they were resolved. Just had to be patient. The terrace is lovely. The sunrise from the sea view room was stunning.

Spacious clean room with balcony overlooking the well maintained pool. Decor slightly Spartan but totally adequate. I skipped the breakfast for other options. Just one street away from Soi 6 and away from the noise. Quick 10 Bhat tuktuk ride to walking street. 7-Eleven on the corner is handy. Beach 2 minutes away but you didn't come here for that.

Not good at all. Electric cut off twice. A workman appeared every morning at 6am on our balcony without notice. Strong paint smell from balcony work stung our eyes. Everything was in need of repair. Pathetic shower and en-suite. Really noisy in the hotel all night. Just avoid.

Was welcomed by Martin, shown to our amazing room with the Sea View, well worth the extra. Room was just perfect, great quality and so comfortable. Breakfast was good, we also had evening dinner one night which was just so good, my gf is Thai and we both agreed the food was better than even the local restaurants, so good we even returned for late lunch after we had already checked out. Martin and his team are amazing hosts and we really enjoyed the whole island and their friendly advice on the different beaches

The Staff were all very friendly, and would always check you had everything you needed, the mini bar was a plus. They were all extremely helpful during our stay, giving us information on the area, Hotel Foyer was welcoming, a bright open and airy space.

Wonderful Stay and Highly Recommended
Being world travelers and having a bed and breakfast of our own, we always look for best value for our dollar. This place was not only beautiful and clean but it was close to the port which made it easy when we arrived. The hotel is stylishly decorated and rooms are modern and spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodationg and the restaurant was a huge plus. One of the selling points was the hotel and restaurant accepted credit card which made everything a lot easier for us as well. We also rented our motorbike from them which made getting around the island that much more convenient. Wonderful stay and we would most definitely stay with them again. Highly recommended

The hotel is to an OK standard and is a short walk from the public ferry pier. If you arrive by speedboat you may be dropped at a beach and need to get a Tuk Tuk taxi back to the pier.
The room was OK but bathroom was very tired and also smelt very musty in the shower - there was mould on the lower part of the shower and the shower curtains needed washing (probably Where the smell came from)

You will be able to see the white colour resort on the right when the ferry is approaching to Na Baan Pier. For the i think the location of the resort is quite ok, because i carry gps with me. Walking distance from the pier to the resort takes me 10min. There are a lot of small lanes in Koh Larn,so just uturn back the route where you came from,if you turn to the incorrect lane. They provide Breakfast set menu & it was great. Room is spacious and basic amenties are provided (2towels,shampoo,conditioner,shower cap,soap). At night,you can go back to the pier area for dinner which the locals open up mini night market for the Tourist.

I have been to Kho Larn many times but I was so happy and surprised to find Suntosa Hotel. I had come to expect only basic not so clean sandy type bungalows but my room was like a five star Bangkok Hotel. Martin the owner-manager was very helpful and I am looking forward to revisiting soon.

Good Hotel if you fancy few days in Koh Larn
I read some revious not very favorable reviews. Perhaps I was lucky, perhaps their up their game but it was perfectly good place. Stayed 3 nights. Room was very clean, so was the bathroom. View is nice (from sea view room which I believe there are only two), staff very friendly. They have bikes to rent on site (crucial in Koh Larn), breakfast is ok. Its close to the Koh Larn's 'vilage centre' - it takes well under 5 minutes walk from the pier (if youre using speed boat - they go to the other sde of the island though), shops etc.
Any 'issues'? Pillows cold be larger but thats my personal thing. And the aircon is very noisy. Could do with a service? ;)

The Suntosa is a very small (only 10 or 11 rooms) hotel, close to the pier.
The hotel can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes, through the cosy narrow streets of Koh Larn.
I really enjoyed the good service, and friendly staff.

Booked for Sea View room but didn't get the room
I booked Suntosa Resort on 9-10 Jan 2016 for a sea view room. I checked in around 2pm of 9 Jan. The staff gave me the key and took me to the room which is not sea view room. I had to go out and talked to the front desk that I booked the sea view room and she said that my booking was correct, I booked for the sea view room but it is full.
The room was given to those who booked the room on Agoda.
She told me that this kind of incident happened from time to time and mostly the manager will return the difference amount to the customer. She also said that the manager was out for shopping at the moment and if I wanted to talk to him, he should be back on the evening. I had no other options but to accept this room. Upon the checkout, the manager was absent and the staff returned 500THB for the different amount.
First, This is very unprofessional way to handle the situation by the hotel. If the room is overbooked, they should inform customer in advance because we have other several places to choose as well prior to the trip.
Also, upon the check-in, the staff didn't mentioned anything about this until I have to went down the lobby and asked. I feel like I'm forced to stay there with no options. If this is how they do the business, this is so wrong and unacceptable. We spent several time and money to be there with lot of expectations. This ruined it all.

The hotel was fine for Koh Larn standards; no complain about the hotel itself and nothing to brag about either. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was OK in size, not cramped not spacious. Rooms #1 and #2 faced toward Pattaya but the windows and balconies are too small and did not take advantage of the ocean view. The condition of the room was dated but it was extremely clean. The bathroom could use an exhaust fan as the AC was not strong enough to extend the ventilation there. Breakfast was limited to two choices, American with the typical fried eggs plus sides or Thai with congees plus sides. The spacious communal sun deck was great for watching sun rise. This place felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Its major short coming was the location. We had to walk thru a labyrinth of narrow alleys; some were unpaved.

very nice hotel with nice and helpful staff, the Englishman who runs the hotel is very nice and helped us with good tips on which places to visit, we also rent a motorbike from him. will go to this place anytime

Ingen pool för det första, ingen gård eller stort hotellområde att Vistas på. Ingen strand, Ingen butik, gym, spa, nothing, nada.
Bara ett simpelt hotell med dålig air condition.
De borde förbjudas att använda namnet resort. Resort ska vara en allomfattande vistelse. Resort i namnet var enda anledningen till att jag bokade det.
