Not sure the listing as \"full kitchen\" was correct. There was no oven, mini fridge only with limited freezer space. We brought food to cook in the oven so we ended up eating out instead of cooking in, which increased the price of the trip. We were supposed to get an email the day of arrival but did not. Called, no answer, ended up having to text, just was a hassle. Not all the windows had a covering so it was bright inside the cabin.

Our stay was good, we loved the charm. The parking was an issue, our allotted spot was so short that we could not park there. Also, the room was freezing upon our arrival which was very unwelcoming in the ID winter. Also, the shower hot water was not hot at all, very coolish-lukewarm.

Loved the cute and cozy feel of the cabin. The electric fireplace gave a nice ambience and really warmed the place up. Our only issue was that the refrigerator froze many of our food items. Looks like it’s due for a tuneup or a replacement. And there were only three spoons. Maybe add a few more?

Cute bungalows across the street from the lake and bike/walk to cute town (abt a mile). Easy check in, place was clean and updated. Only cons were no closet or hooks to hang anything. No nightstands so we used the 2 kitchen stools. It’s tight w 2 ppl but we made it work and enjoyed our stay.

This is a great place to stay in town. We stayed there because it has 3 beds. It's clean. Lots of hot water. It's not luxury by any means. The kitchen is well stocked. The main thing we weren't crazy about is the air freshener that was plugged in the kitchen. Overpowering perfume smell. We unplugged it and opened all the windows. The kitchen faucet needs to be fixed. But it worked out fine for what we needed.

Pricey for a tiny (incredibly small) cabin and the freaking cleaning person was banging on our door at 10:50am on a Monday!! 10 minutes BEFORE checkout time!! Incredibly cheap owners that obviously have zero idea how to run the place…

This establishment is pricey, and they literally offer ZERO extra accommodations or extras for the high prices they charge. They don’t even have a front desk.

With better management, this could be a great location. I truly hope it improves in the future. This has the potential to be an amazing spot.

Gingerbread houses!

Cute little gingerbread house of a cabin. Cabin 5 is adorable and a tiny studio. TV is big and well positioned to relax in bed and watch it. Nice and cozy in the foot of snow that fell while we were there. Would absolutely stay there again! The only thing I wish could have slightly changed was providing a bigger green towel for the ground or a boot tray for our snowy boots so we could clean up melted snow a little better.

The floor is very uneven, almost tripped several times. Coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned and was very old and stained. Toilet flapper kept coming off and my husband would fix it.

The cabin was absolutely adorable. Rustic but with a big screen tv that we could watch from the couch AND the bed. We're not big tv people but after a long day of driving and too late to walk the lake we dove into the comfy bed with super linens and pillows. Kitchen was perfect and a view of the lake from our front porch was divine. We'd stay again in a second!!

The Bungalow we stayed in needed to be updated. The floor was sloped which has the flooring split in 2 places, I almost tripped sinking in the floor holes. Bathroom needed updated as well. Chipped stand-up sink, I had nowhere to place my toothpaste and personal items.

The location is amazing! The communication with the staff is Awesome.

The negatives:
Coffee Pot was super dirty - I completely sanitized
Coffee table rug - FILTHY - should be removed
Kitchen essentials - NOT GOOD AT ALL, old, old….. definitely not suited to
Make meals for 9people.
Barbque - OLD OLD School. Thank God we brought our own flat grill.
Minimal toilet paper was provided especially for 9 ppl. 2 very very thin coffee filters were provided, when asked for 1 more….. unfortunately not something they provide.

All in all, it’s a great place. But heads up for a cabin that can fit up to 9 people it’s not equipped properly. Bring toilet paper, coffee filters, paper towels and kitchen towels. Pots, Pans serving utensils if you plan on making meals.

The bungalows are great, the only things that need improvement is the bed we stayed at, it was very uncomfortable my lower back hurt during the 2 nights we stayed. 2nd around the shower pan around the edges on bottom had lots of mold. Other then that ours was very clean.

Was very unimpressed with the stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable - probably like 5 dif heaters with very inconsistent temperatures. Tv never worked. Management made me call the cable company myself. They walked me through a half an hour of steps and it still never worked. Interior is dated and feels cheap. Their was hairs from a previous tenant on and around the shower, yuck. Stay somewhere else.

The property was clean and quiet. It was disappointing to only have a full size bed--for the price point a Queen would have been more reasonable. We stayed here because it allowed pets since our dog always travels with us. But extra per night per dog is unreasonable considering the price you're already paying. And then they threaten you that if there is evidence the dog was on any of the furniture they would charge you more. Our dog only gets on the furniture if invited, but still all the rules and do's and dont's were annoying considering the fees.
They have a lot of rules which would have gotten annoying if we stayed here longer than a night.

Beautiful location and pet friendly

This is a great place to stay in McCall.
The cabin was clean, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen.
The beds were comfortable and fairly spacious.
It is located very close to town so it is convenient and easy to find.
Check in and check out were seamless and very easy.
We had two dogs with us so it was nice to have the wooded area behind the property to walk them.

I don’t normally do negative reviews. These cottages looked so charming on the website and the location is so close to town. However, I felt a bit misled. When we showed up we discovered we were in a duplex cabin not our own cabin. We did not have our own front porch and the window overlooked the parking lot. There were no shears on the window only heavy dark drapes. The window looked right in on our bed so we felt like we had no privacy. The neighbors were kind and quiet and there is no management on site, so we decided to make the best of it. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and up-to-date but the floors were dirty and we discovered clumps of dog hair under the kitchen table. The mattress was also broken down, saggy and very uncomfortable. Like I said we really wanted to make the best of our vacation but I feel it is important to let other people know so they can avoid these problems.

The bungalows were adorable and upgraded! However The kitchen stove had grease in the burner pans. The refrigerator needed defrosting terrible. The tV and dvd units were hard to figure out and the first night we had no access! The double bed was SO BAD. It needed to be thrown out a long time ago Cabin#4. I slept on the FLOOR the second night on pillows and slept better than in the bed. I’m 74. 200 lbs when the floor is more comfortable than the bed: Houston: We have a problem!!! I called the manager and there was no real offering for a partial refund because it was done thru Expedia.

Main Heater would not regulate. Electric fireplace would only run for about 30 seconds then shut off. back up heat worked but would no keep the cabin comfortable so we either cooked or were cold the entire stay. thre was cold air blowing out of a vent under the sink into the living space. Floor was always ice cold. Not our happy place.

Just a getaway trip for my wife and I. The bungalow was nicely laid out with all the necessary amenities. Cleanliness was an issue though. There was dirty silverware in the dish drawer and used napkins in the microwave, the carpet was spotted with several, large black stains and the window in the shower was filled with mildew and several dead flys/bugs.
Also, the mattresses are in desperate need of replacing. We stayed in Cabin 8 and one of the mattresses wasn’t just broke down, it had a large divot where springs inside the mattress must have broken.

Once reserved the details of cleanliness were very specific so I expected it to be very clean. The shower and shower curtain had mildew all over the bottom. The curtains had thick dust on top of them when I opened them. The kitchen counters are beautiful and the frig, stove, and oven worked great. The shower was hot and great water pressure. It is small but perfect for a couple.

We had to travel to McCall unexpectedly for a family emergency. With the travel restrictions in place it was tough finding a place to stay on such short notice. The Brundage Bungalow was perfect. It was a smooth process to check in and checkout via my phone and completely contactless which was a plus. The kitchen was great as we weren’t comfortable eating out with the virus threat. We arrived at 4:00 and the cabin was 50 degrees. turned on all of the heat sources we could find, left, returned four hours later and it was only 60 degrees. Watched a movie while wearing coats. The cabin was warm in the morning but by then we were packing to leave. The owners don't heat the cabins between guests (understandable in McCall in winter) but should get them warm before guests arrive. The owner knows what our experience was but offered no form of compensation, saying that they usually heat faster than that. We paid over $200 for this experience. On the positive side, the cabin was clean and well-appointed and in better weather I'm sure they are great.

I can see that the owners tried to turn some broken down dog kennels into cutesy little cabins, but if you have the means to lodge ANYWHERE else in McCall do it.
We reserved our cabin for Christmas and skiing 6 months in advance.
The pretend \" fire place\" didn't have pretend flames because the bulb was out. It was drafty, the floor was linoleum without an entrance rug to wipe our snow covered boots off. Cold. Cramped. Parking issues. Heating problems. Tiny bathroom two feet from the bed...yuck.
Completely dissapointing.
We paid for 3 nights and left early the second morning.
NEVER AGAIN.

I got seriously worried about the Access Entry Code being sent by email on the morning of arrival. It was a good distance to drive, and snowing part of the way. I needed to get a good start that morning. The code didn't hit my email until 0715 hrs. Everything worked out, but I won't do the no check-in thing again. Took several tries to get the date of arrival and departure date correct. Once straightened out, the bungalow, and near by pub (Lardo) were good.

The Bungalows are really adorable. Great location too. Our #8 bungalow had an updated kitchen and bathroom. However, the floor tilted from the front of the cabin towards the back and was a distracting feature.

Be sure you are aware these places are pet friendly. We do not own pets and found the cabin to have pet hair/fur on the couch and on the blankets on the beds. It was not cleaned well enough for our liking.

It was cozy. There were two separate noise issues in the cabin. One sounded like a sump pump and it was loud and ran all night the other was a loud pitched sound that came in every 15 minutes. My wife and I countdown sleep,all night and even went to our car to sleep. I contacted the rental company but nobody responded. We paid 200+ to sleep in our car!,
