It had great staff! We couldn’t get the tv to work and after 5 minutes and various trials, it worked. Luke said if we had any other problems to call him back. The breakfast staff person was amazing. She hurried around, cleaning tables as soon as people left, kept items stocked, and was very cheerful and friendly. The breakfast had some items I don’t usually see: individual milk cartons, diced peaches in a cup, and a choice of items to put in the oatmeal, as well as waffles, eggs, dry cereal, a sweet roll,and 3 kinds of juices. The only “problem” I noticed was no elevator.

The property was away from town and quiet. Room was clean. The indoor/outdoor carpet was not very desirable in the room.
Breakfast was standard fair but for the price of the room I feel it could be less carbohydrate driven.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well maintained. The tv was easy to use, not complicated like some hotels.
The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but I would like to suggest adding bacon and or sausage as an extra protein. Some fruit like cutie oranges and bananas would be nice as well.
Otherwise it was a great stay.

The Super 8 is a motel that is in need of a major renovation. While the room appeared to have been recently repainted, the décor and furnishings have definitely seen better days. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, which has likely contributed to excess moisture and a deteriorating shower curtain holder.

The complimentary breakfast was also disappointing. Both hot food trays remained empty during the entire time we were eating, leaving only cereal and a few basic options available.

The location is convenient, but the property is showing its age and is in desperate need of a comprehensive remodel.

The beds were comfy and very clean, well-maintained room that had both a small fridge & microwave. The sink vanity area was outside the toilet/shower room which I appreciate. I like the waffle maker for breakfast and all the available The free warm cookies in the evening were so delicious and welcoming.

An extremely rude desk clerk named Jake, he would not give me his last name, demanded my ID and credit card without even a \"hello.\" I gave him my drivers license and started to check my records for what I would owe, as it was booked through Expedia, when he again demanded the credit card. I asked him to wait while I looked through my records. He said I was the rudest guest he had ever encountered in his 5 years working there. I was dumbfounded, and said he was quite rude himself, although I went ahead and gave him my credit card. He said he wasn't going to check me in and would call his supervisor to the front desk. I said please do that. He then took his cell phone, walked away, appeared to be speaking with someone, and then returned. I asked him to please check me in, and he said he would not and threw my ID and credit card onto the counter. He did not have his supervisor come to the front desk. I have stayed at this Super8 a number of times previously when visiting or passing through McCall previously, but I will never again do so. Harry

Tremendous value very clean. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The cleanliness and staff were better than $300 - $500 a room per night hotels I've stayed at. I chose the hotel for the price/location but was genuinely shocked by how great it was when I checked in. And even after the check in there were little perks that kept popping up like a solid free breakfast, hot fresh coffee at all hours, etc. And none of the nickel and diming fees you run into at some hotels. I almost don't want to leave a good review because the more people that stay here will raise the price possibly. No BS the best value Ive gotten in a hotel that I can remember.

This place has all you need. Non pretentious. Ice machine was out of order, so check in staff delivered personally \"from the back\" when we brought our bucket to the desk. Room was spacious, clean with decent and plentiful \"product\" for showering and refreshing.
Breakfast nothing fancy, but plenty of options to suit those who want nutritious and those who prefer sugar bombs!
No gym or fancy hot tubs, but perfect for spending a couple of nights in McCall.
And abundant free parking!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall. While the property is a bit dated, everything was well-maintained and functional.

Breakfast offered the usual options—waffles, juice, coffee, and pastries—which were decent and convenient. The eggs didn’t look very appealing, so we chose to skip them.

Parking felt safe and was adequate, with no issues finding a spot. One standout was the staff—they were friendly and helpful, even providing ice when the machine was down, which we really appreciated.

Overall, a solid, no-frills stay with good service and a comfortable environment.

Huge king suite, very clean, lots of room for family meet up. Was initially told at 3pm that it wasnt ready. ? Then was offered a different room. No ty, Told them i would wait & miraculously it was ready.

Overall, it was quiet and staff were friendly- unfortunately, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and the heat would not shut off overnight- it was way too warm even with the heat turned OFF. The in room coffee maker was missing a part so we could not use it and lastly, the WiFi in the room was not working- we were told upon check-in we had to go in the lobby for wifi access- also not really acceptable, especially because we were not told in advance. For all of these reasons, we will be seeking alternative options next time we are in McCall. We typically book other places but due to low cost wanted to try it out. Wasn't terrible but not great either.
