Very clean and modern rooms and property. Always beach lounge chairs available and private beach means no vendors bugging you to buy things and the lifeguards kept it safe to swim for all.

Our rooms were immaculate, everything you could possibly want including the most beautiful beach is right at your fingertips. Alessia the beautiful young woman who cooks at breakfast was such a joy along with her coworkers. I highly recommend breakfast because of these sweet and attentive staff members. Also, the young lady who prepares cocktails by the pool, also outstanding.

The front desk staff was very helpful as well. I can’t say enough good things about this property and the amenities. I also would like to mention the gentleman who helps at check-in to carry bags, he is so on top of things.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

The Sporting Club Hotel is an outstanding hotel located on the Mediterranean. Everything that was stated on the hotel website was true. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained each day. Breakfast was outstanding and included which made it very easy each to get started each day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to avoid busy Palermo or Cefalu.

Cleaning service was excellent. Parking was also good, but it was off season so there weren’t too many guests. The ambience around the pool was stellar with comfortable canopies beds and places to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was provided by the neighboring restaurant, and the woman who made omelettes could not have been more un-friendly! In fact, “omelette lady” has now become code between my husband and me for a person who is not nice. Our bed was too bouncy, but the room was spacious. We had a flood from the shower into the bedroom, and the staff told us not to worry about it and that it was “normal.” That struck us as strange, but we figured it was an Italian thing.

Great views, lovely staff, great room and hotel but completely inaccessible without a car. No way to walk from the hotel to the station because there are no pavements on the roads. Had to rely on $25 taxi journeys each way just to be able to leave the hotel. No shops around the hotel, had to go to Palermo.

From this location we visited many places in Sicilia doing day trips.
The view is stunning and very nice to have breakfast with this view.

The ocean view was incredible falling asleep to the sound of waves. Every night was very peaceful however, the Internet did not work in the room. Even when they provided an alternate Wi-Fi source moved at a snails pace. You had to stay in the lobby. The hotel seems like it’s designed more for locals that need a staycation because there is nothing around the hotel doesn’t have room service or anything within walking that is helpful for a first time visitor. They have an ice cream shop and a small store on the premises plus a restaurant, but it’s literally in the middle of nowhere in the hotel provides no shuttle service or transportation, except for calling a taxi service. It’s definitely a venue for parties (baby showers wedding receptions, etc.) doesn’t necessarily seem designed for tourists for vacation. If you don’t go to eat at the times when the restaurant is open, there’s nowhere else for you to go and they don’t allow you to bring food from outside to the hotel. A lot of areas of the hotel are extremely rundown. It just seems like somebody abandoned the hotel or was in the middle of renovating and walked away from the project. The staff is very limited the gentlemen in the front did their best. Most of the time everyone acts like you’re inconveniencing them when you ask a question.

Bed was horrible. Coil springs which you felt. Every one of them. Front desk would not provide a substitute. Pool was cold. Beach was very rocky. You need water shoes. However the water was crystal clear and warm. Parking was sporadic. Pizza restaurant was good. You could take out. Breakfast was okay but cold. Uncooked bacon. Omelette option was there. Food served was repetitive. Our apartment had a washer which was convenient

The beach view and the design of the balconies are great, the shops are there but they have VERY limited hours (it’s impossible to shop), the parking is limited as well. We loved the LIMONI restaurant and enjoyed the delicious food that was served to us by Giovanni who is the best! We are definitely planning to return in the future!

This hotel had the most amazing beach. It is just as beautiful as the pictures. I think this place is great for shorter stays (we stayed for 3 nights before Rome). This is because there is only the one restaurant on site, and there are not many things close by. The on site restaurant is also extremely loud allllllll night so unless you are a partier, it might be slightly annoying hearing that while trying to sleep or rest. Overall amazing beach and outdoor area, friendly helpful staff, but some areas for improvement.

The location is good. Amazing view. The layout of the hotel is odd. There is no elevator. So watch for that.
Also, we got a room that must have been a storage before and they converted it to a room. It was awful. Ceiling was 7 ft high at most. The bathroom had poor ventilation. This was definitely not a $400/night experience!! And we were put in abundance by them not having an alternative proper room available.
Also the restaurant situation was odd. There is a good restaurant for dinner with good food. But during the day snack and breakfast in the morning had very limited options.
The pool and beach was great.

This hotel is beautiful both beach and pool. The restaurant and bars have stunning views and good menus. Just be aware there is nothing outside the hotel in walking distance and the restaurants you see on the site belong to the hotel. We loved it and was perfect for a few days

Transfer cost from train station ridiculous. Charged an additional $40 euro per day for extra room occupant. No place to walk or shop, not even a gift shop. Could only eat at hotel restaurant. Breakfast buffet was very good, and pool area was beautiful. Paid for two days but left after one due to boredom.

I painstakingly looked for a place on the beach for the last leg of our 40th Anniversary trip. I emailed the hotel to ask about a special dinner and transportation. They kept pushing me off to different areas with many emails back and forth.
The thing that REALLY upset me was I had called a few weeks before to speak to the restaurant onsite. Our 40th Anniversary was when we were staying there and I wanted a special dinner that night. I spoke to Victor, who reassured me he had our back, that they would make it special! I was assured once again, after we arrived and spoke to Victor, that the night would be great. The night came, we got super dressed up and walked up to the restaurant and NOTHING. They barely acknowledged us. Victor said it was very busy and blamed it on his manager. His manager tried to come over and sell us the same horrible food on the menu we’ve been choking down the whole week. I finally ordered a steak and the sides came to the table cold. I cried at the table. They had ruined our 40th Anniversary and didn’t seem to care.
The hotel said the resturant is seperate from the hotel but a bad dining experience reflects poorly on the hotel. Although it’s a beautiful location and the front desk staff and transportation staff are fantastic, there is nothing else around it for food options so you are stuck eating not good food with mediocre service.
My opinion, this hotel is not worth it, even for the location.

I am listing my impression from the positive to the negitive. But to sum it up, I would not stay here again, despite some of the great things it has going for it.

The staff was great and the food and, generally, the facility is very nice. Some challenges with English, but it is Italy! We had the beef filet and spicy pizza were excellent.
The view around the bay is wonderful and the sound of the waves is wonderful.

The beach is nice. It is a mix of small pebbles and rounded rocks upto a couple inches. Nothing really sharp, but not comfortable to bare feet - bring water shoes. There is a few small amounts of sand in places. There are some small fish to see if snorkeling, but not very colorful.

The hotel is about 40 to 50 minutes drive from Palermo Airport (PMO). The hotel says it has airport transfer for an additional fee, however they refer you to 'a partner' giving you a phone number to call. We opted to just get a taxi when we arrived. The taxi charged us €191.00. I am feeling that was not an honest fare, but I could be wrong. As comparison we paid about that for each night at the hotel.
The nearest opportunity is the rail station a 15 minute drive away with the train running into Palermo about once an hour. The train trip allegedly about 20 minutes.
My biggest complaint was that there a party hosted on site with EXTREMELY loud music and DJ that went until 0100, we couldn't sleep. This ruined our short visit and greatly impacted my rating.

Pool is lovely with a range of seating to suit everyone.

Breakfast is excellent both food and saff. Coffee is strong.

Lunch and dinner are both delicious, however i think the menus need more of a selection. Pizza and local beers were the highlight. A special mention to Antonio at dinner service. He is exceptional ❤️

EXCELLENT stay! We booked only one night but had to stay a second because it was just what we needed. Beautiful place and extremely relaxing. Gorgeous pool and clean beach with clear water. Plenty of water sport activities too included. Attentive lifeguard, friendly front desk, and pool bartender. The service on the rooftop is slow but professional. Fantastic meals for dinner and lunch but breakfast is okay however great coffee. We will be staying again.

We stayed for 9 nights this July and we loved it! Our family room (4 beds) was nice and spacious, and the view from det balcony was exellent. The cafe, restaurant and bar had good food and drinks and the staff was friendly (though some of them did not understand much english).

Having the beach almost by ourselves (Only for Hotel guests) was really nice, and the pool area looked like a Beach Club. We also appreciated the parking area where our rented car was safe (security guard watching 24/7)

The only drawback was that there are no supermarked or other restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. There was no buses or trains nearby, so if you want to go somewhere you have to ask the reception for a taxi.

We will absolutely concider coming back to this beautiful hotel!

Generally the quality of the hotel was good. The reception staff were great. The car parking staff not so great, although it was extra busy the day of our visit as it was a bank holiday.
The approach to the hotel is a bit awkward.
The drainage on the complex isn’t perfect. There were some drain smells outside here and and there.
The beach was amazing, with kayaks, paddle boards and other fun things to use in the sea for free.
The restaurant was a great setting for an evening meal, although service was a bit hit and miss and the quality of the steaks we had weren’t that great!
All in all a good experience but far from perfect!

We very much enjoyed our night’s stay here, we were just sorry it was not for longer. We loved the pool and private beach, both quiet and relaxing areas.
All staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel itself was spotless. I contacted the hotel the day before to ask if we could use the hotel facilities before check in. We really appreciated being allowed to use the pool to relax after a busy few days travelling. There is plenty of parking in the hotel’s secure parking area.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent.

It’s a very beautiful plac, however there a few things that can cause inconvenience.
Very isolated and no transport to go anywhere, hotel transport is extortionate 5 minutes journey contraction is €25!!!
There is a fantastic restaurant in the hotel, but only open for dinner. If you want lunch it’s only cafe food which is disappointing.
The beach is not sandy and it’s pebbled.
If you decide to go there, you definitely need to rent a car.

A bit away from the city

Very clean, stylish hotel with excellent breakfast. On the beach with good facilities. Balcony is beautiful and sleeping is comfortable.
Not much to complaint about except a few things: no kettle in the room, we were missing a hot tea/coffee.
No designated parking at the hotel, we had to find a place on the road it was too tiny on first come first served base. Not ideal for the rented car as the road is too narrow.
The personal is not speaking English. We had to explain basically using signs. A few things were still not understood which was annoying. Staff gets annoyed when you try to ask something in English but they do not understand. Same in restaurant.
Some hotel facilities were fully closed and not operational.
Too far away from the city.

The location is very nice and the hotel has a private beach and a pool. The room we were in was infested by flies and the staff did nothing to address the issue. I was offer a voucher which I did not accept because I would not go back to the same hotel. There are other options around. The place is isolated with limited lunch options. Sauberes Hotel, mit geräumigem Zimmer. Leider führte der Weg zum Zimmer über eine enge sehr befahrene Strasse ohne Bürgersteig.
Das Personal in den Restaurants ist ein Wenig überfordert, aber die Pizza ist sensationell gut.

10/10 experience from start to finish! The location is absolutely stunning, with a peaceful stone beach and perfect sun exposure all day long. The atmosphere is calm, beautiful and incredibly relaxing.

The restaurant is fantastic — and the pizza was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Every meal felt high quality and authentic.

What truly makes this place special, though, is the staff. Everyone was so warm, professional and genuinely helpful. They really go above and beyond to make everything easy and comfortable for you. I also received my room long before the official check-in time, which I appreciated so much after arriving early.

I would absolutely stay here again. Truly a 10/10!

El hotel está muy bonito, las instalaciones también, el desayuno poco variado y lo que había estaba frío.
No reserves este hotel si no tienes un transporte privado, la fecha de la entrada llegamos a las 19 en la estación de altavila Milicia, la estación está muy lejos del pueblo y sobretodo del hotel, no hay transporte público ni taxi y caminando es muy difícil de llegar porque solo hay carretera por donde no deberían de pasar peatones, hemos llamado al hotel y nos mandaron un taxi que costó 25€( 3 km )
En el hotel hay un solo restaurante que no tiene mucha variedad y no hay nada de tiendas o supermercados cerca ni siquiera para comprar agua.
En conclusión es un hotel para desconectar de todo y pagar todo allí dentro.
También en recepción pone que está prohibido llevar comida desde fuera

Affreux. À fuir. Première nuit, j’ai attrapé la salmonellose avec intoxication au poisson dans le restaurant de l’hotel. (J’ai prevenu de mon allergie au lait on m’a aussi assuré que le plat était sans, sauf que manque de bol mon plat était à la crème donc en + j’ai fais une allergie heureusement j’en ai manqué que peu, assez pour une réaction mais pas à faire un oeudème de quick, mais leur espadon m’aura donné la salmonellose).
De la moissisure dans la chambre, le couvre lit était sale, des balcons tout le monde voit sur le lit, le train passe toutes les heures et fait un bruit monstre. Petit déjeuné affreux et racis. Aucun remboursement sur le repas et j’ai tellement été malade que j’ai demandé de l’eau minéral et j’ai du la payer (car le seul magasin est à 19km).

À fuir, je suis sicilienne et j’ai détesté au plus au point, la plage est sale. Non vraiment jugé par les photos mais à fuir.

Mais le personnel de l’hotel est gentil contrairement à celui du restaurant qui vous dénigre et vous prend de haut.

Das Personal (Manager?, Frühstücksteam, Restaurant oben) in der Rezeption war sehr unflexibel und unfreundlich bei Veränderungen, Fragen und Wünschen. Man fühlt sich nicht wie ein Gast sondern eher wie ein Störfaktor. Wir sind voller Freude und schönen Erwartungen nach Sizilien gefahren und fühlten uns in diesem Hotel leider nicht willkommen.

Das Sortiment am Frühstückstisch war sehr klein. Man hat kaum Sitzmöglichkeiten gehabt und musste stehend auf einen Sitzplatz warten. Keiner hat sich darum gekümmert, einen Tisch zu organisieren.
Für Muslime wird kein Putenfleisch Geflügel etc. angeboten.

Die Anlage an sich ist sehr schön. Insbesondere der Ausblick auf das Meer vom Hotelzimmer aus ist fantastisch. Ebenso lobenswert sind die Verweilmöglichkeiten im Aussenbereich, die ebenfalls mit Meerblick sind.

Tres bon hôtel, appartement spacieux et pratique (il daudrait toutefois ajouter produit vaisselle et éponges)
Accès et parking un peu compliqué: pour resortir en voiture il faut faire un interminable et etroit chemin en sens unique.

Hotellet lå nydelig til, og nær vakkert hav, med vidunderlig solnedgang, lys og farger. Det er helt nødvendig med bil, for taxi er svært kostbart, uber virker sjelden, og hotellet ligger langt unna offentlig kommunikasjon. Personalet snakker dårlig engelsk, men det er forventet. Middagsres
