Palm Village Resort and Spa is not a luxury property, but it is a genuinely beautiful and welcoming place to stay. The setting is peaceful, well kept, and full of character, with comfortable rooms and good facilities. The bed was very comfortable, and everything I needed for a relaxed stay was available.

The location is quite far from town, with very little nearby and most places closing before 10pm. I arrived just after that time, and the staff went out of their way to help, personally taking me to find food so I was not left stranded. One of the team members also has a tuk tuk and kindly ferried me around during my stay, including inexpensive trips to Angkor Wat and the airport, which made getting around easy and stress free.

The standout feature of this resort is the staff. They are exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The food is good, the atmosphere is calm, and the service feels personal rather than transactional. I would happily recommend Palm Village Resort and Spa to anyone looking for a quiet, friendly base with outstanding hospitality.

RUSTIC! If you like that then you will love this. Otherwise it can be a bit challenging. No mosquitoes despite the rich foliage in the property. In fact, no insects of any kind! Pool was well used by other guests so it must be good. Massage was good but not very private because of the amount of glass in the dedicated building. Also, some vegetable oil (?) was used and not coconut oil which I am incredibly familiar with and would recognize. Food was ok.

A tranquille green place with excellent service

We extended our originally planned staying. A very nice and well managed place. A nice pool. Variety of meal and the host is very liberal regarding hours to take the meals. Laundry is good (we had some staff made of wool and it was hand washed). Abundance of greenery. Bike renting is possible. A nice spot with hammocks for resting... You feel as at home.

There is nothing not to like here. The staff will arrange anything you need and are very kind and patient. We are travelling with 2 learning disabled young adults and they were not fazed by their limited communication or request for straws...Rooms are comfortable and have a strong shower, shampoo and shower gel provided. Food is excellent and plenty. We arranged our temple visits and ongoing travel to Krati with them and it was reasonable and comfortable. Pool is pleasant and refreshing after a day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful rooms at a great price. Staff was super helpful, restaurant had good food reasonably priced. They helped us arrange bikes, tours, and tuktuks into town. Pool was beautiful. Very quiet. Only complaint was that the room had a huge, beautiful bathtub but not enough hot water to fill it.

Hidden Gem! Out of the city but only a short TikTok ride away. The grounds were beautiful, the pool even prettier than the pictures, the service and food were amazing. I was only here for one night but I wish I had stayed longer, we did not want to leave!

While the location was remote, it was actually really pleasant and comfortable. Especially nice was the garden like inside area and the lovely pool and poolside dining. Only complaint would be the misinformation about how close it is to ankor wat. It is NOT a short walk away, but rather a 15 minute drive away. They should update the listing to be correct about this.

Excellent place if a little way away from downtown. Cabin was very cozy, felt like I got a great deal on the stay especially including the outstanding free breakfast made to order every day. Pub st was a 15 min tuk tuk drive away and place was very quiet. I think in the future as a single guy I would stay downtown but for families or those not interested in nightlife this was a great place.

If you like the idea of staying in a log cabin with a degree of comfort thrown in then this resorts could be for you. The staff are very helpful and always are willing to assist you doing so with a smile. The cabins are a good size with good on suite facilities. The food is all cooked to order and is very tasty. I feel where this resort let its self down was in it general appearance. In my opinion it needs a good overhaul to bring it back up to the standard you expect when you see it photographs on line. Overall value for money yes, service good but let down by the surroundings which leads you to have not a good first impression.

A pleasant haven of peace and quiet

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, it is a pleasant haven of peace and quiet away from Siem Reap. The staff are lovely and very helpful and I loved the little dogs which live there. It is a little out of the way with no facilities nearby but there is always a tuk tuk available to take you wherever you wish to go.

Good Resort to visit.
It was my 2nd time stayed in this hotel and i was enjoyed and like the hotel even location far from down town but this is what we need for resting, far from the noisy place.
Staff are welcoming us and specially we can hire transportation such as tuk tuk, car or mini van. I choose tuk tuk and my driver also a good person.

Tropical oasis with excellent service

We had an excellent stay here. Right after booking the hotel got in contact with us to coordinate pick up from the airport and were there as soon as we exited the airport. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food was well priced and delicious! They were always prompt with serving. It's a little far from town, so you will need to arrange transportation for adventures, but they assist you with that as well, so we didn't find it an issue. The wifi worked well, without issues. We stayed in a 1 room bungalow with a private bathroom and found it very clean and spacious. The village is very unique and gives you an exotic/tropical vacation feel. We were very happy with our stay.

Quiet Oasis outside busy city center near temples

We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations which are simple but nicely done. It was a safe place for our 10 and 11 year old kids to play, they really enjoyed the pool and the food at their restaurant was good. We were able to to get tuk tuks easily and found the location to be perfect for us, away from the noise and busyness. We took full advantage of the Spa and though not western standards of course, very enjoyable. The staff and owner were lovely and helpful. All of our laundry didn’t come back unfortunately but I think it was an honest mistake. If I was ever in Siem Reap again I would stay here again.

Palm Village was great! My friend and I arrived late at night. After we had gotten to our cottage we were greeted with two cocktails and freshly cut fruit. We ate most of our meals at the resort and were not disappointed-the food was great! They provided excellent service for our entire stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cozy. The resort was about a 15-20minute tuk tuk ride to the Angkor Wat temple, so it was a great location. I would recommend the Palm Village resort!

Fantastic Location, Staff, Food, and Facilities

If you would like a \"Quite Out Of The Way\" place while visiting Angkor Wat, this is the place to stay. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, nothing seems to be too much trouble. The Bamboo houses have excellent facilities and full of character. With swimming pool and and spa facities etc. Making this a very relaxing place to stay.
The food is also excellent with a great choice of dishes and always plenty of fresh fruit available. The availability of Tuk Tuks and Taxis right out the front door makes this
a very easy place to see the temples etc. Seim Reap is a very bustling town and expanding at an amazing rate ! I would really like to visit Palm Village again, 5 stars....

A great hide away from the busy centre of Siem Riep. Served up some of the best food we had in Cambodia. Rooms are basic but comfy and clean. Kids loved the pet dogs, snooker table and pool. wish we could have stayed longer.

Interesting but Remote

I booked this hotel because they offer big room for 4 people. The hotel only has under 20 houses, therefore you don't even need to pay the check after your meal because the staff knew everyone.

Good thing of this hotel is it's very traditional. Houses are wood-made and you will even hear noise of the wood floor when you walk in the room. So it's a good experience for Cambodian tradition-seeking people. However, we found traces of rat in our room(we believed the rat bite open our instant noodle bowl and drag it around) and beds were too small and hard.

The real problem is the location is not good. We had to go through a muddy and VERY bumpy road to get to the hotel. Also, it is not close to downtown and museum and everything, which means you have to use a ride to everywhere.

Well, despite the disadvantage in location, the hotel served WONDERFUL breakfast and other meals, which were far beyond our expectation. Love food here!

Last, there were some dogs in the hotel, barking a lot and sometimes following people. But, one of them was quite a cutie and always sat by your table and waited for some meat. Adorable!!!

Perfect hideaway

This resort is not in town and this has its advantages - you can easily visit the hustle and bustle but then escape. The tuk-tuk ride in takes about 5 mins. The resort staff were delightful. We were invited to participate in a yoga session and had massages which were lovely. The resort is beautifully set out and quiet. The food was good quality and obviously convenient but town is not far away if you want to go in at night. The resort organised a bike to cycle the temples the first day which was a wonderful easy way to do the inner loop, and a driver the second day who was very sensible. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed it and contemplated extending our stay - especially after the good coffee find at Blossums Cafe

We stayed in a bungalow and it was a bit exciting. It had a hammock below and a nice seating area. It smells a bit inside the bungalow for some reason and there are a bit of mosquitoes, though. Food is good and staff is helpful but only one English-speaking staff member with limited English.

Nice cottage rooms. spacious.
Arrived late at night. No room service. Friendly night watchman could only get us fruits and icecream.
Spoke little english. Should have somone speaking english at the hotel at night also.
Need telephones in each room to communicate with reception and other rooms.

Low key option close to temples.

Key factors influencing my choice to stay here were its close proximity to Angkor Wat; it's laid back and not in the tourist area; and it has free wifi. It was great value for money; it has a pool and a separate vegetarian menu. Staff were all lovely. Room was modest but comfortable. Cons: Half the pool is very shallow so it's not suited to swimming laps. Overall the vegetarian food was disappointing. If you're vegetarian you'd best look to the vegetarian restaurant in town. That said I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Siem Reap is worthwhile visiting, not least for its magnificent and magical temples. Each temple although similar in their overall construction were very unique and impressive in their own right.
Siem Reap town centre also provided an exciting and enticing vibe, with their fabulous markets and excellent dining.

Palm Village resort and spa was a quiet and curious hotel.
Individual bungalows for guests with own private bathroom. Not quite authentic bamboo houses, but comfortable nonetheless.
Enjoyed a couple of spa treatments although don't expect the luxury spa treatments you may get elsewhere.
Location is slightly out of the way i.e. not within walking distance of Siem Reap's centre, and need to get through dirt roads to arrive, however tuc tuc service (local transport option) was available and appropriate.

This hotel was hard to find but so worth the search! It was a clean bungalow with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere tranquil. The pool and hammocks were so relaxing after visiting the temples all day which the hotel wasn't too far from. I would defiantly stay here again.

Nice pool, handy for Angkor wat, quite far from siem riep but we weren't bothered by this as we are it hotel as too tired to go out after busy day around temples!

This hotel is best to stay in, relax, and to enjoy with your partner. It is located close to Angkor Wat, so its a good place to stay while exploring the temples. The staffs here are friendly, warm & caring. They all work hard & together as a team. Breakfast is delicious & the spa here are amazing. I highly recommend going to their spa. This place is ideal to stay in & to just explore the temples. Its unique, relaxing & different from your everyday lifestyle. Worth a try & I can't wait to come back here.

Hi everyone I recently stayed at the Palm Village resort in Siem Remp in Cambodia, this trip was a present for my mother's birthday and I couldn't have choose better, she was fascinated with the hotel, the location so deep in nature but so close to town just a few minutes by tuck tuck away from the city and with the best tuck tuck driver Mr Da who ended being our guide around the city and the temples, the staff always with the most beautiful and wellcome smile in their faces and the rooms were just amassing so close to the way cambodian's life.

I am really really happy that I chose this destination and this particular resot to celebrate my mother's birthday and my parent's first visit to far east.

Even though the location is extremely hard to figure in a few days stay, I will definitely recommend this hotel. The main reason is the authenticity of the local village experience my friend and I feel; which I would not trade it for any of these big fancy(at least what most people think) hotels out on the main streets. No pushy sells of any kind. The owner and staffs are excellence in making us feel at ease and comfortable. In other word, I felt like at home there. Try the heated message therapy, if you have a painful back like mine. The free breakfast included in the price was the morning feast my friend and I look forwarded every morning. They made the best coffee by the way. Angkor Wat is amazing, Palm Village Resort and Spa enhance the experience. I will stay there again.

Le personnel est adorable et tout est prévu pour vous accompagner dans vos visites des temples. Il y a toujours un véhicule de disponible pour vous emmener où vous le désirez. Le restaurant est très bien. Les bungalows sont grands et bien équipés. La piscine très sympa. Nous recommandons vivement !
