Beautiful riad right in the Medina. My only regret is we didn’t have time to experience the rooftop, which, based on the rest of the hotel, is probably amazing. Lovely breakfast each morning and very helpful staff.

Also thanks to Abdul and the owner of the Riad was pleasant also (cannot remember her name). Their food was fresh and outstanding and they exhibited the best customer service in Fez!

Our stay at Riad Kettani was perfect. The location was very convenient and close to many great souks, restaurants, museums, and landmarks. It was well marked and easy to find in the medina. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious and varied and the dinner we enjoyed was excellent. Most of all, our hosts were welcoming, gracious, and so helpful with all of our questions and needs. Having stayed at several riads during our trip, we would highly recommend Riad Kettani to anyone visiting Fes.

They were so helpful with meeting us at parking lot late at night to make sure we get to the Riad. It is a bit of a trek and confusing- but that’s just how Fes is. I loved the beautiful Riad! The staff were very kind and extremely helpful, the only downside was the location. You need to go through many small narrow streets to get to it, I would recommend this if you are going in a group or at least with a friend. If i had gone alone, I would have felt scared to walk by myself to find it. The rooftop patio was also very beautiful!

Service at the Riad was great. Special thanks to Latifa, Yousef and Abdou for making our stay so pleasant. Rooms were in great shape and had the little touches that showed great taste. For our departure Latifa and Dominique went out of their way to ensure our tour guide picked us up from the parking lot closest to the Riad. The location of the Riad is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the parking lot so getting to/from the Riad with luggage in tow is difficult and ended up being frustrating for us.

Latifa and Dominique are excellent hosts. Staff is very helpful, attentive and kind. Rooms are spacious and beautifully constructed including the bathrooms. At dinner we had the best tagine out of all the places we have traveled in Morocco. Very family friendly. I highly recommend you stay here.

Very nice Riad about 4 mins walk to a parking area where you can get taxi. However, close to everything, literally 1 min walk to most famous tannery in the Médina. What made our stay special was the staff, specially Latifa. After exhausting days of walking in the Médina we would be greeted with tea. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

It was our first time at a riad, and it did not disappoint. Great place, with a great host, and fantastic staff that always smiles and appreciates you being there. I would recommend it without a doubt. The rooms are big, the food is excellent, and the location is right in the middle of the medina.

The Riad was amazing and the staff was fantastic. The breakfast was very good, we also opted to have dinner there one night which was very good but pricey. The Riad is very difficult to find, however everything inside the Medina is as well.

Gorgeous hotel near all the touristic sites but quiet at night; the rooms are beautiful and the staff was very helpful! Breakfast was delicious! It's inside the Medina so they will help you getting your luggage (since they are only walking streets).

(Nor the toilet). But that's to be expected in any older building. The Riad is a charming one with a great location that is close to all interesting things in the Old City.
The owner and Latifa were superbly nice and accommodating. There was a glitch with the AC but they worked tirelessly to get it fixed.
Make sure you ask the owner to show you the pictures of the Riad’s Before & During renovation. What an amazing transformation.

The meals are ridiculously pricey for basic and limited choice, more than 5 star restaurants. The toilet was not bolted down so it moved if you leaned over for toilet paper. Smelly plumbing. Tired, coarse towels.

Beautiful Riad right in the heart of the Fez medina. Large comfortable rooms that made you feel like had gone back in time. Great view of medina and nearby Rif mountans from roof top terrace. Staff provided great service and were extremely helpful when had questions.

Fantastic Stay & Top 10 Meal of My Life!
Excellent place to stay. We were welcome immediately upon arrival with hot tea, and Younes was so friendly and accommodating. He helped set up dinner for that evening in the Riad, and it was the probably one of the 10 best meals I've ever had in my life: tagine chicken smothered in onions with roasted pear and apricot. IT. WAS. AMAZING. Younes also helped set up a guide to show us around Fes the following day, and his help was appreciated.

Excellent 2 nights. Location in the center of old city. Friendly staff and management. Lots of local traditional markets and restaurants nearby but needed a guide to show us around. Can be easily lost in the narrow streets. Food at the hotel was also excellent. Rooms were good sized but no phones in the rooms. Overall enjoyed our 2 nights at the hotel.

A small riad in the heart of the Medina with great, friendly staff and felt like home. The room (Malika) was conveniently located on the main level, so no narrow stairs to climb with luggage, and was very large and beautifully furnished. Only complaint was that when we arrived, the room had a faint smell of cats.

Awesome authentic experience of s traditional Moroccan riad! The way to the riad, which is situated in the ancient medina, is a bit of a \"shocking environment\" (old, dirty, and narrow dark streets) but once you're inside it, it's a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

This a very nice Riad. It is very well appointed, very comfortable, tidy and clean and the perfect place to base yourself for a visit to the Fez Medina. The staff are very friendly and helpful. By preference I would pay a little extra for the larger rooms on the second floor. Wifi was great.

Riad Kettani is a wonderful place. Not only is it beautiful but the staff is warm, friendly and helpful. And the location is great - its right in the heart of the Medina. A wonderful place to stay. The riad is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Recommend doing dinner - had an excellent tagine. It’s a little far from the Blue Gate, but it’s very close to the large tannery. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a little gem right in the centre of the old town of Fez. Packed with traditional style and features, it was a fabulous place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, organising taxis, local guides, issuing maps etc. The food was lovely and served in a beautiful setting of the dining area in the main courtyard.

Four night winter break in Fez. The weather was hot (30 deg each day) the riad staff welcoming, friendly and always very keen to help with anything. Lovely people. The food - we ate in the riad every morning and evening - was delicious. Fez itself is a one-off experience plunging you back into the middle ages complete with smells and sounds.

We had a great 3 day stay at Riad Kettani. The staff there are amazing and the riad is beautiful. We ate all of our breakfast and dinners here and the meals were all fantastic. Nice place in old Fes
This Riad is clean, location is in the historic part of Fes and the staff are very helpful and eager to help. However it takes about 15 minutes walking to get to this location from the closest place of a taxi drop off area. The facilities are basic and needs to be upgraded to match the charged rate.

The riad is tucked in the medina and surrounded by a maze of tiny street with shops. The streets are pedestrian only and offer sites and sounds of local life. Upon reaching the riad we were greeted by beautiful smiling Latifa who gave us warm wet cloths and mint tea for refreshment. The riad has a lovely courtyard for relaxing and the rooms are spacious with beautiful decor.

Fantastic hideaway
Situated right in the middle of the medina, Read Kettani is an oasis of tranquillity. Inaccessible by car, you are met by the excellent staff and escorted to the Road through a maze of alleyways - don't try to find the place on your own. Once inside all is calm: everything is tastefully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, and so much better than the anonymity of modern chain hotels. Everything nearby - the tanneries, madrassas, museums and souks - but be sure to take a map, and take advantage of your hosts local knowledge which they will gladly impart. And when you're done with the hustle and bustle, enjoy the views from the rooftop terrace.

Our stay was pleasant, mostafa was nice and helpful, Internet not so great but if you are wanting some peace and quiet away from all the chaos of the Medina , this is it. It's. Still in the Medina but on the outskirts. 20dh taxi ride to the square if you don't want to walk. ($2usd) for all 3 of us.

Elegance in the Medina
Arriving at Riad Kettani after a night on the desert, we couldn't have been more please with our spacious, super clean room. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts and dinners on the rooftop terrace were a delight. Even though we had to checkout at 6:30 am to go to the train station, a member of the staff was there to prepare a sack breakfast for us to take, and to accompany us to the entrance to the Medina where we met our cab. It was a delightful experience and we would recommend it to all.

The care to detail that Daniela, the owner has put into this lovely old house is amazing. It is an oasis of calm in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the medina. Scary at first going into the heart of the medina (you have to walk in as ancient roads are not wide enough for a car), but you quickly realize there are absolutely no problems either with safety or getting around. Call hotel upon arrival at stop outside the medina and they will send a guide to help you through the labyrinth of medina streets. This is a very old building, completely renovated by the current owner, who has created a marvel. Painstaking attention has been paid to its decor. Exceptional food - we dined there 3 nights and simply left the selection of the food to be prepared to the staff.

Everything was perfect. You cannot fault the most accommodating staff. It is extremely quiet yet central location for those wishing to stay in the old city. Most helpful if requiring information on places to visit. Abdul the concierge, even offered to accompany us to the old tannery to see leather goods being dyed and sold.

Historically renovated Riad in old Medina -Fes
Experience was fantastic. We would stay here again. The pickup from the train station (arranged by the Riad) and subsequent transfer at the Medina entrance to Abdul resulted in a flawless and much appreciated introduction to the old Medina and Riad Kettani. The staff were very friendly and concerned about every aspect of our well being. The cooking was the best we've experienced in Morocco. Dominique has done a fantastic job restoring the Riad to full historical splendour. Much emphasis was placed on delivering comfort and satisfaction to all the guests. The Riad is centrally located in the old Medina and the map provided at checkin was truly helpful in a Medina that can be intimidating at first encounter. We highly recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Fes.

Delightful and authentic riad
Our stay at Riad Kittani was lovely. The location is beautiful, full of traditional artisan's work. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, if you are not agile, the walk to the Riad may be a problem. There are many hills in the medina, and many narrow and dark alleyways. I never felt unsafe, but I would not have been able to find my way anywhere without a guide.
