The photos and descriptions did not make it clear that these rooms shared restroom facilities on each floor, or that there were only 2 private showers in the entire building, or a single, public-use hairdryer. The staff could not communicate in English, which made it hard to understand any of the rules and extra charges, such as towels for the shower. The neighborhood around the hotel has many homeless people, but I know Japan is relatively safe and this didn't bother me as much as it might have in another country. I'm not saying all these issues were unacceptable or deal breakers, but I would have liked to know about them before I book the room, not after.

The hotel was particular about certain rules, but there were no issues with the property if you followed the instructions. The property wasn't the cleanest, but that is more due to the age of the property rather than the staff not cleaning, which they were diligent in doing. All in all a fine stay, no major issues or complaints.

I sent a message expedia already wanting my money back. This hotel is not waht is advertised. Business hotel ? Yeah right. My rooms door was metal. There is no private bathroom. There is one bathroom and one shower.communal for both. Disgusting. Also they wanted to charge me for a towel lol . I literally took a shower hesitantly, and checked out . I was booked in for 3 nights. This place isnt worth mote than 5 bucks a night or they should pay you to stay there . Ive seen homeless shelters better than this dump.

Affordable nice hotel

Subway is within walking distance, it won’t take you for more than 10 minutes to get to the entrance of the subway. The hotel room itself is small but more than enough for a single person. It got a weird smell but it went away after I opened the window. Shower room is clean, you need to take the key from the reception though. Toilet is okay. Looks dirty but it is okay actually.

Its a business hotel.

Don't come to this location expecting 5 Star accommodation. Its a cheap place to sleep. Shouldn't really be looking to do more than just that when going to a business hotel. Can be difficult to find as there isn't really anything noticeable nearby.

There is a mart right down the street that you can pick up cheap bentos from. Those are always good to eat.
Make sure that you bring your own towel here (can find easily at a 100Y store in any of the main shopping areas).

I love the bath.

It was an ok stay. Nice cozy room with tv and aircondition. The best thing about this hotel is theirs public bath. If you are there definitelly try it. Its much much better than just a shower. Other than that there is a very cheap supermarket about 5 mins away. And thete is a at least 2 km long shoping street very close by.

Good enough for the price

Room was comfortable enough. The place is obviously not the newest but the bathroom and shower looked new and were very nice. There was a dead cockroach in my room when I arrived but everything else was otherwise clean. It seemed a little annoying that you have to request the key to take a shower. I also felt a little annoyed by the 'don't talk on the phone in your room after 9pm' rule since I chose a hotel specifically with private rooms because I planned to talk on the phone and the booking page didn't say anything about that. I read that the local area isn't safe but I didn't have any problems there. It was convenient enough for places I planned to go to.

Cheap hotel but FOUND BED BUGS

Considering the price, the location, cleanness and room facilities are all great and I would recommend staying here BUT we found bed bugs. It's probably no fault of the hotel on its own as it could have just been the guest before us. Until other positive reviews come through bed bug free, I'd avoid staying here.

OK for backpackers on budget

I found that, his place is used as some sort of homeless shelter for someone on welfare checks.
This hotel is located in the middle of trashy part of town with full of homeless partying day and night on the streets nearby.
Several minutes walk to nearest train stations through street full of trashy day workers and mentally ill people.
Bed sheets are changed once or less a week. Room needs to be cleaned by passenger himself.
Bugs are found here and there at times and rolls of newspapers could become quite handy.
Some hotel staff are kind, though some staff could be quite nasty and mean.
Good enough for some place to crush in, after a day long hiking.
The place provides a good enough privacy compare to a sleeping cubicle at some capsule sauna.
Good price for someone who wants to save on place to stay and wants to spend money on food and sight seeing.

My stay at Hotel Wako is very pleasant and I recommended to especially solo travelers and backpackers. The staff very nice. It just that you have to share the shower room but believe me, the shower room is very nice and clean.

First choice of low budget Hotel

As this price, what will you expect? It is the first choice of low budget hotel. It has air condition, TV and fridge in your room. Although it has time control in the shower room, it is clean and tidy. (It is closed at 00:00 daily.)

You get what you pay for. Not the best neighbourhood but this being Japan, you're pretty safe either way.
Close to both JR and subway stations so really convenient for getting around.
Tiny room but if you're travelling solo and just need a base camp, this will suffice.

Filthy room and building reeked of human filth and mold. Rude staff, dangerous and noisy neighborhood filled with drunks and/or homeless people. I was glad the police building was across the street because I feared needing them urgently at any moment!

The residents share one public bathroom and one private shower room. They are clean and comfortable but it will be better if there is a fixed hair dryer in it but not in the reception. Also it is better to extend the opening hour of shower room to 24 hours.

Only for the cheapest of backpackers

This hotel is not in a good location . It is situated in the poorest area of Osaka , so you will notice alot of scruffy and homeless people roaming about . The red light district is not far away from the hotel location either. A police station is situated directly across from the hotel.
I would not suggested young women traverse the area in the evenings. It's Japan so it is generally still safe but perhaps not the wisest decision and certainly not the most comfortable.
The staff were helpful enough. You will find the complex feels a little like a prison, steel doors on the rooms and some rather messy toilet areas.
The rooms are tiny , unusual smell also. Probably due to the type of people frequenting the area.

Doesn't have a bathroom in your room but..

... this hotel review is mostly being reviewed by someone easily pleased so decide for yourself based on what comfort you like in a room.

The room is really small and consists of a thin futon on a tatami floor (but there are rooms that have a twin size western style bed - I saw them cleaning one once when I went back to my room) and with the futon supported by a foldable cushion to make it softer. It has a small table that you can only use by sitting on the floor, a cupboard for clothes with a few hangers, mini fridge to store your food and a really old tv. The view from the room only let's you see the windows from other rooms so of you like privacy you might want to draw the curtains closed. There's also a heater in the room with a remote but the buttons are, of course, in Japanese so you might want to look up an online translation for the buttons to avoid using the cold air feature (I had to do it since I accidentally used the air conditioner feature once).

As mentioned, your room doesn't have a bathroom so if you need to use the facilities you go to another room. It's a same sex bathroom so you might end up seeing a male peeing in a urinal on your way to the toilet. But it has a western and Japanese style toilet with a nice Toto bottom washing, bidet and warm seat installed.

There is a woman's and a separate men's shower so you won't need to be worry about someone coming in. The front desk gives you a key to access the room and then you can lock it behind you.

You get what you pay for

I stayed here for two nights during a weekend trip with a friend. The neighborhood is not very safe feeling. I felt very nervous coming back to the hotel after dark. There is only one women's restroom in the hotel, on the first floor, and if someone is getting a shower then the toilet is not available, my friend had to use the staff restroom in the morning. We spent the whole day trying to avoid going back to the hotel for the 2nd night. The staff was friendly enough, but I still would not return here again.

Arrived a little bit early than check in time but they were kind enough to accommodate me without extra charge and gave me a room immediately. The front desk staff was really kind and pleasant. The room was just right for a solo traveler like me. The toilet though shared was really really clean and comfortable. Two thumbs up for this hotel. I will definitely go back. Tho they cant understand me most of the time its ok cos I can see that they are trying. I miss them already. Japanese people are so helpful and nice. :)

値段を考えると、設備や部屋の古さなどは仕方ないし、清潔さもそれなりに覚悟はしていましたが、禁煙でお願いしていましたが、部屋に入るなりすごくタバコ臭かったです
昔からの臭いが染み付いてて、現在禁煙室にしていても壁紙などを替えてるわけでもないので、どの部屋も臭いんじゃないかと思います
パーキングは地域性もあって少し不安でしたが入口にシャッターが着いているので、逆に安心しておけました
スタッフも愛想悪くて事務的な対応です
この地区の昔のことをある程度知ってる方は分かると思いますが、治安はかなり良くなりましたが、それでもまあいいとは言えないので、気にされない人でこの地域に宿泊したいのであれば値段も安いのでいいかと思います

大阪では最安値かと。

一泊2,600円で寝泊まりできるので利用しました。
（未確認ですが、他のサイトなどを利用するとより安く泊まれるようです。）
日雇い労働者向けの施設だったということもあり、必要最低限ではありますが、素泊まりにて寝泊まりする場所としては問題ありませんでした。
チェックイン時に担保として1,000円渡します。（チェックアウトのときに返却）
靴は部屋に持っていくことを推奨されます。盗難防止です。

部屋は布団、テレビ、冷蔵庫（冷凍庫）と机のみです。エアコンも利用可能です。
なぜかイヤホンがおいてありました。
室外には、電子レンジ、ガスコンロ、洗濯機（乾燥機なし）が設置されています。フライパンなども使用可能です。

トイレ等の設備は古いですが、清掃はされておりました。

風呂は大浴場はPM1:00からPM9:00まで利用が可能。
シャワーのみなら２４時間使えます。

西成区は治安が悪いことで有名ですので、扉の施錠は必ず必要かと思います。

何だか落ち着く昭和ノスタルジック

女性専用のトイレとシャワールームがあり安心です。お部屋も掃除が行き届いていて清潔感があり、共有部分で熱いお湯ももらえて電子レンジも使えます。コンビニがすぐ前にあるので、朝のサラダやヨーグルトを買って部屋の小さな冷蔵庫に入れておけます。お部屋にはエアコンもついています。タオルと歯ブラシはないので持参した方がよいです。

環境配慮型、昭和の学生寮の情緒溢れるリーズナブルなホテル

大学時代の学生寮の雰囲気を思い出しました。
その当時の昭和の雰囲気を感じさせる建物です。
部屋の蛍光灯が半分消えていたのでフロントに伝えたところ、外出から戻ってくる頃には、新品のLED室内灯に代わっていて驚きました。環境に配慮した、最低限を満たすおもてなしをしてもらえました。

大浴場もあり寝る場所が欲しいと言う人にはお勧めのホテルです。ただドヤ街という立地もあり夜とかはそれなりに騒がしいです。気にならなければ一度は宿泊してみてはいかがですか？

ich habe es genau 1 h im hotel ausgehalten, und auch nur, weil ich im internet nach einem neuen hotel gesucht habe. dann habe ich wieder ausgescheckt.

* dies ist kein hotel. und schon gar kein business hotel. es ist noch nicht mal ein hostel. eher so etwas wie ein männerwohnheim für gestrandete.

* man zahlt ein deposit für den zimmerschlüssel.

* man bekommt kopfhörer, damit man nach uhr beim fernsehen nicht den nachbarn stören könnte.

*die toilette ist meter vom zimmer entfernt. und die toilette ist für ein \"hotel\" unter aller würde. da ist jede öffentliche toilette in einem park oder bahnhof besser, viel besser.

* für die dusche muss man immer an die rezeption gehen um den schlüssel zu erhalten. und dies in einem mehrstöckigen haus.

* oberfäschlich h wurde gereinigt. aber es gibt flecken an den wänden. auch das kopfkissen machte einen schmutzigen eindruck.

ich übernachte in vielen hotels. auch in hostels. aber dies hat damit rein gar nichts zu tun. das Business Hotel Wako muss aus dem programm von expedia genommen werden.

快適に過ごせました。

朝早くからチェックインも出来て、駅も徒歩圏内であること。お部屋にテレビも冷蔵庫、エアコンもあるのが最高に寛げます。
たしかに古い建物だと思いますが、とても女性に気遣いのあるシャワールームやお手洗いもあって良いです。お布団カバーも清潔感があり良いです。
このエリアばかり利用してますので、私は関空利用者なのでお気に入りエリアです。
また利用させて頂きます！ありがとうございます。

夜11時過ぎのチェックインでした。ガラス戸はシャッターが閉まってますが、横の金属扉で出入りできます。フロントは24時間空いてます。ドアの鍵を千円と引換にもらいます。私の部屋はベッドとテレビ冷蔵庫の2畳くらいでした。チェックアウト時に千円はかえってきます。

禁煙室なのにタバコくさかったです。タバコ気になる人は無理です。トイレも臭いがあります。
安いので寝るだけを目的にするといいと思います。ホテルの場所も気になると思いますが、目的地に向かって真っ直ぐ歩けば問題ないです。
ホテル内も特に絡まれることはないです。が、ロビーで長期入居者同士で和気あいあいと談笑しています。気になるかどうかはあなた次第。
女性専用シャワー等もありますが、ホテル内はパンツTｼｬﾂで歩き回るおじさんがいます。気になるかどうかはあなた次第です。

立地はホームレスがたくさんおり、女性の単独行動はやめた方が良いと思います。施設の古さ感は否めませんが不潔感はありません。時間交代制ですが大浴場もあり、スタッフの方々も親切でコスパは最高です。
マイナス点は周辺の環境だけです。

ホテルは安心でした！

土地柄的には女性宿泊に不向きな地域ですが、スタッフさんはとても新設でホテルに着くと安心しました！
トイレも女性向きの色遣いをされてて奇麗でした。
古い建物なので綺麗・清潔を求めるなら向かないと思いますが、安く泊まるなら私は次回もココにしようと思いました！

除非省錢只待一晚，不然不建議

床單看起來乾淨，但是身體覺得很癢，隔音超級差，整夜只睡2小時，沒有附毛巾和牙刷，只有一罐沐浴露，從頭洗到尾

あいりん警察署の真ん前

寝る場所がほしいだけだったが、環境を考えると高かったかも。近隣にはもっとやすそうなやどもあったが、似たり寄ったりだろう。
警察署の真ん前なので治安は問題なかったが、駅からはやや遠い7分。
ドンキやダイソーが近いのは便利かも。
しかし、一般の人にオススメで切る場所では無い。
とはいえ、安全には問題なく、お金をできるだけ使わないで過ごそうとするにはいいかもしない。

モナカ

落ち着けるホテル

この価格で宿泊できて申し分ありませんでした。
畳も布団も綺麗で、エアコンの効きも十分でした。まるで自分の部屋にいるような気持ちになるくらい落ち着けました。夜は外も静かで、ぐっすり眠ることができました。
受付のかたも、とても気さくに接してくれて嬉しかったです！
今回が初めて利用でしたが、今後大阪に行く時はまた是非利用させて頂こうと思っています。

部屋はベッドとテレビのみ。トイレは各階にひとつ。
大浴場が時間制ながらあり、意外に広い。
あとAVが見放題。

最大の問題は、飲み屋街に連接しているせいで夜が非常にうるさい。カラオケの歌声が外に響いているため、耳栓は必須。エアコンもうるさい。

騒音さえ我慢すれば、寝るだけの拠点としては充分。7分ほど歩けば新今宮駅なのも便利。

大阪旅遊

一間相當便宜的商務旅館，櫃台人員相當友善，下次還會再次入住，雖然附近環境稍微雜亂一些，但是這在每個地方都有的，這也是更深入了解當地人的生活！
