We loved the whole look and feel of this hotel; the place is amazing. The location is meh, you would need a car (or taxi) to get around. we had a very nice dinner about 10 car-minutes from the hotel, but there's not really anything close by. The room we stayed in was gorgeous, but the bed was uncomfortable: the mattress was very hard and the bed itself (the springs?) was very loud. The bed itself was very pretty with the wide wooden edge, but because of this almost impossible to get into. The shower... Oh man that shower. That shower is the standard for showers from now on. Breakfast was very good. Staff at check in and breakfast were very kind!

Very nice hotel

The hotel was beautiful and modern. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The bed was comfortable but very low. I have a bad knee so it was hard to get out of bed. My elderly mother had a hard time also. Next time I would ask if there is a higher bed.

Over- rated 5* hotel. Don’t think it worth the money. Arrived @ 21:45 and the hotel look closed. The restaurant was closed and the room service food offer and quality was poor. Due to COVID we had our breakfast in the room which was delivered 45 minutes after the requested time and did not comply with our food allergy request, as highlighted at the check in desk.

Very helpful and friendly staff, clean property. Breakfast is massively overpriced. Food options in hotel restaurant are extremely limited. Spa hours could be longer as by the time I came back from Athens which is a good hour away, the spa was closed. Once the spa is closed, there isn't anything else one can do in and around the hotel. The pool is absolutely freezing, there's a lack of sunbathing areas. Very limited equipment in the mini gym.

Very nice place

Beautiful, clean hotel. Legend has it, it’s a converted school house. You’d never know! Only two drawbacks, one was that water escaped the shower and got all over the floor, couldn’t prevent it. And no full length mirror. Getting dressed for an important event (wedding) would have been ideal.

Okay so weird design, making it not so comfortable along with this hotel being in the middle of nowhere but let’s not look at that and let’s look at things that they could fix.

I didn’t think it was that clean, the carpets in the hallway were filthy, the building needed up keeping and renovation. For example my shower was all messed up with clogged shower head and the toilet was making leaking noise the whole night. Certain parts had rusted in the room and outside.

Also, the cancelation policy is HORRENDOUS.

The positive was that their electronic automated features were pretty cool and the bed itself was comfortable... even though I hit myself a few times on the weird platform attached to the bed.

Honestly I would never stay there again.

Beautiful, modern hotel in a peaceful area at the edge of the city. It's the perfect place to relax. We loved the open design of the room and the pine forest view from the balcony. All members of staff we interacted with were exceptional! A special thank you to Danae for helping us sort out the mix up with our plane tickets. We will certainly be back soon.

The hotel is modern and in a very nice area although if you want access to the centre of Athens you need a car. Breakfast above average but not wow.Staff in the breakfast area very helpful. Beds very comfortable and very very strong shower. Not so much to my liking the split door between the shower and the toilet. Swimming pool freezing cold despite the 35 degrees in Athens. Very clean though. Lots of mosquitos even during the day but none inside the room. I would give it overall a 4.5/5 but there was an incident which put me off. I had visitors just half an hour before the swimming pool closes and they were still asking 15euros per child in order to use the pool. I felt that the management/reception staff had no flexibility in the issue created and puts me off to revisit

After staying at a number of supposed 5 star hotels in Athens and vicinity, Life Gallery is the only hotel that his lived up to our expectations. Niki Alexiadou, the hotel manager, has put together a team that offers first class hospitality in a beautiful modern environment with superb accommodations. The entire staff starting at curbside with Sotiris, all at the reception (Panayiotis, Natalia, Danai & Aris) along with Stavros, Elizabeth & the dining team as well as Areti at the pool are all extremely warm, hospitable and professional. Well done and thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing hotel and staff

It was a superb experience. Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast and restaurant are amazing. The room was big and serene. They have different settings for the lights and you can choose from night lights to tone lights etc. Loved it! There is an amazing spa and well worth using it as prices are very reasonable with a discount for people who stay at the hotel.The staff are fantastic.The hotel is based in Kifisia/Ekali and a short taxi drive to the shops. Taxi to the beach is +30mins but you can stay by the hotel pools surrounded by trees and if you don’t want to take long ride down to Vouliagmeni/Voula/Glyfada- perfect!

Best Hotel of my entire Holidays

During our honeymoon vacation we stayed in this hotel on our way back from the cyclade island and we were going to fly back to Italy to continue our trip. We regret not staying more days here as it's a beautiful hotel that went above our expectations. Photos are as the hotel is, rooms feels like new and you will sleep as a baby. Facilities are great, with two big pools and a bar/restaurant.

Staff received us very well and as Welcome Gift they give us a really nice bottle of wine and some fruits. Thank you for everything, i give you 5/5 Stars!

Our stay at Life Gallery

There were a few issues with the room we had.
It was dusty, the corners and under the bed looked like it had not been cleaned for ages.(Raised with manager)

The shower has drainage problems, which could not be fixed, this caused the toilet floor and area around the bath to flood from time to time, even when using the shower at half the capable showering velocity water would flow out.(Raised with manager)

The walls and floors has unsightly stains in the bath, and above the head boards of the bedroom.(Raised with manager)

The bed was squeaky.(Raised with manager)

The cleaning ladies were quite noisy, they frequently woke us up at around 06h30 in the morning from the noise they made outside.(Not raised with manager)

The carpets in the corridor was not very clean, you could see spots of dust in the corners. (Raised with manager)

The duvets leaked feathers.(Not raised with manager)

Unfortunately whilst Niki made every attempt to resolve my complaints, they were unable to resolve all of them but she does not fall short of trying.
She did her best to make us as comfortable as possible, and genuinely made an excellent attempt to resolve the issues, I would rate her 5 stars just for that,
The receptionist was extremely helpful, and offered excellent travel tips, I can't remember her name, but she wore glasses. Again, brilliant.

Overall the staff deserve 5 stars, but our room unfortunately gets max 3.

Beautiful hotel in great part of Athens: quieter and much different than downtown. We wanted to stay away from central Athens and really loved our time at Life Gallery. The staff was impeccable and the hotel itself, rooms and grounds/pool were lovely. 2 nice pools, great patios in each of the rooms, restaurant at hotel and bar...and other restaurants near by. Nice breakfasts in the hotel each morning.

We were very happy to have stayed in that non-touristy area of Athens, loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again when back in Athens.

What an outstanding find!

This is an exceptional hotel. Let's start with the only disadvantage: it a little far from the city center. Everything else was outstanding. Modern design throughout the hotel , a well-appointed room that departed from the typical hotel room layout, and hotel staff that was focused to make you feel welcome and valued. The breakfast selection was relatively limited but the quality of all items was top notch so extra points here as well. I will certainly book this hotel again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean and all staff were brilliant, nothing was any trouble. Further out of Athens than we had realised however helpful books and brochures in the room as well as staff assistance ensured we were aware of trains and buses to explore all the sights to see. The spa was a treat and absolutely worth a visit as felt relaxed and calm after our treatments.

Boutique hotel stay outside of Athens centre

We stayed at the Life Gallery Hotel for 3 nights, they offer guests to stay 3 nights for the price of 2 from Fri-Sun. It's a small and well kept hotel with a nice stylish feel. The staff were very friendly and the rooms are kept in a good condition. The hotel is placed in the suburbs, so be prepared to pay for taxis or get a bus if you want to go to Athens city centre. There is a small town, Drosia, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel with a variety of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and ATMs. The food was lovely at the hotel and the breakfast was delicious, I recommend the greek yogurt!

Great hotel - repeat customer

Great hotel, it was our 2nd time staying there for a couple of days. Location: might not be the best for visitors who want to do some sightseeing in Athens -car or taxi/public transportation required-
Great if you are looking for something relaxing, quiet and safe.
Hotel: design never gets old but it does need some touch ups/renovation
Staff: Amazing across the board, I travel quite a lot and this hotel has probably some of the most polite and kind people. Always willing to help/
Food: Pleasant surprise this year was the food, which we had also tried last year and it was average. Seems like changes had been made in the menu and we were pleased with all our choices.
Pool: Never felt crowded during our stay, in weekends though you might want to explore other options/nearby beaches. Towels are provided by the hotel and it is also worth mentioning that there is a lifeguard on duty.
Free breakfast: There is room for improvement if you compare it to other hotels of similar star category. First off, it is free and I guess you can not be too demanding. That being said, the options are kind of limited and they seemed to be running out of food towards the end of the serving time. The amazing staff though was always willing to accommodate though if there was availability in the kitchen.
Parking: No extra charge and we easily found parking space in the hotel area during different hours of the day. Area seemed to be also monitored by security.

Modern hotel on the outskirts of Athens

Friendly staff. Nice pools, especially the clear glass one. Beautifully designed rooms and communal areas. Nice breakfast, but not as plentiful as I expected. Nice mini-gym, but for a basic workout. Beautiful area. It's quite a long drive from the centre of Athens, but we booked it as a getaway so it was perfect. Shower water leaks onto the bathroom floor, but overall the design of the room/bathroom is very nice.

This hotel is a little out of the way, but in a nice quiet location. Very upscale. Small room, and the shower/bathroom area is not very private (if you are traveling with a partner), but very modern and well finished. The hotel restaurant is very nice and accommodating, no matter what time you want a meal.

The art of living @ life gallery

This hotel is difficult to describe becuz its advantage is the overall ambience it succeeded in creating. The living quarters have all been meticulously designed. Even the guests kind of integrate within the design. State of the art technology is used in rooms like B&O phones, tilting LG tvs and control panels for lights, shades and even glass panels on the balcony. Room service is great (I tried club, rissotto, and grilled cheese). The spa is on the small side but therapists are truly comparable to the best spas I visited. The hotel has a scandavian feel to it. The hotel has a front and back view, a lot of lush and green especially the mountain view. The hotel reception was extremely helpful in arranging DHL shipments and providing guidance. The rooms are clean, modern, classy and quite liberal in size.Balcony is also large and very comfy and clean.

I emailed the front office manager with a couple concerns. Her response was very professional although she didn't accommodate my request for an upgrade.

Despite a couple mishaps (one was partly my mistake), I will definitely stay again in this hotel in the future. Hotels of this quality are usually double if not triple their rates.

Highly recommended.

The best in Athens

Simply put, The Life Gallery Hotel is the best in Athens. It's small, quiet, modern and away from the constant city hustle and grind (people, sirens, motorcycles and car noise). The staff is great, the food was very good (try the grilled octopus and the hotel owners brew of raki). In addition, the hotel is beautiful and clean. Our only nags were the mattress was a bit on the hard side and there were no face towels. But as we found out, this is common in many Greek hotels. Lastly, this hotel my not be for everyone as it is a 25 min car ride to the Acropolis area. But, it was the perfect hotel to begin our stay in Athens to recuperate from the long travel, relax and do a little shopping (The Golden Hall and the outdoor stores in Kifisia). And, relax after our tour of the main land ruins and island excursions before our flight home. We’ll be back and stay at its sister hotel on Crete.

Perfect treat hotel - highly recommended!

I treated myself to a night at Life Gallery at the end of a ten day trip in Athens and a couple of Greek islands. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly.
The rooms are very comfortable with all mod-cons and a great lighting system to help you choose the right mood for your room. Balconies are also spacious and the rooms have lots of natural light. Aircon is effective but not noisey and overly cold as it can be in many hotels. The bathroom area is very spacious and well put together.
I ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the evening - the food was very good value and perfectly prepared and cooked, plus the service was excellent.
The pool is clean and big enough for a bit of a swim, with plenty of loungers and towels provided to relax in the shade or sun, depending on your preference.
I also used the spa which was very good - attentive, professional and knowledgeable staff made for a very relaxing experience.
I would certainly return to Life Gallery as I think it's very good value for the quality of the hotel and staff and I had a lovely relaxing stay to end my holiday on a great note!

No tea/coffee facility in room

Very arty & modern hotel a bit far out of Kifisia. Cost €9 from hotel to shops. Hotel out in remote area. Was shocked when there was no tea/coffee making facility for a 5 star hotel. Requested jug to make tea in room which they happily obliged but when requested tea bags I was charged. There are 2 swimming pools as there is no beach nearby.

Refreshing change of pace from the heart of Athens: Warning the pools are not heated. If you are in Greece you shouldn't waste your time in pools anyways. Go sim in the sea!

Totally relaxing hotel.

My only critique has to do with the obvious priority to party events. In particular, I have to agree with the breakfast arrangements.
It would be nice to have a basic selection of tea and bread until the a la carte menu is prepared.
The staff though were exceptional in ensuring everything was served on time and everyone was happy.

Serenity!

I had the best sleep in a long while. Just opening the curtains and facing those beautiful green hills across fills you with bliss.
The simplicity and comfort of the room were outstanding.

Περάσαμε πολύ ωραία με τη κόρη μου δύο νύχτες για τα γενέθλια της. Το μόνο που πρέπει να αναβαθμιστεί είναι το πρωινό σε ποικιλία κ ποιότητα.Δεν επιτρέπεται να μην υπάρχει φρέσκος χυμός πορτοκαλι κ τα αυγά να μην είναι ζεστά... Συνολικά ήταν πολύ καλή η διαμονή μας κ οι θεραπείες στο σπα καταπληκτικές όπως κ τα κορίτσια εκεί.

Ruhige und super freundliche Atmosphäre im Hotel.

Die Betten waren sehr niedrig, problematisch für ältere Leute oder Gäste mit Rückenproblemen.
