The lady on the reception desk was very helpful finding us a car park on a busy night.
We didn’t have a large enough saucepan to cook pasta in.
We had difficulty turning the hot plates on and were unable to find a manual to show us how.
The top of the toilet brush in the main toilet was broken (in room 304)

The room was far smaller than it appeared online and the towels were not changed during our two night stay. The complimentary tea, coffee and milk was not topped up.
The staff were plesant and did fix up the beds, converting to twins rather than a double - this was requested at the time of booking.

Fantastic location close to Southbank the City and West End. We had a two bedroom apartment on level 3 which was spacious and well equipped with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. However, the apartments are right next to the train line and while it is sound proof, our apartment looked right on to the train line. It looked like we were sleeping on the train platform.

The check in was made very difficult for a business booking. Everything has been arranged prior under the business partners name and paid, yet I was still asked for credit card details. Later on they claimed the credit card details do not match my name (not a surprise as its a business credit card). If I would have not checked my emails again, I do not know if I would have been able to do the late check in. The room was fine. The aircon a little loud and dripping and pressure in the shower was low. However the bed was comfortable and it was clean, for a short stay it is okay, if you can check in before 3 pm

The room was over priced, for what was offered. I had to park my vehicle away from the hotel at an additional expense, due to limited parking available onsite. When asking Reception where the nearest available parking would be available, the helpful advice I was offered was to look it up online. If you are turning your guest away from parking onsite, (now knowing the number of guest parking spaces on offer I would believe this is a frequent occurrence), you think Reception would have a list of nearby locations with pricing to assist your guests. The only positive about this hotel was the location. I can honestly say I won’t be staying there again.

This place was horrible. A damp, mouldy smell throughout, rusty amenities, and a broken shower head that made it impossible to have a shower unless you physically took the nozzle off the wall and made it a hand held. I’ve stayed in backpackers hostels that were better maintained.

However the worst part was the location. Yes, it may be close to the city, however it’s also right next to a train line. So you hear the squeezing train brakes late into the night and again early in the morning.

I am shocked at the audacity of this hotel to charge what it does, so my suggestion to others is to STAY WELL CLEAR!

Disappointing property for the price.
The lift stunk, the room was dark and on the train line, although well sound proofed.
Bathroom long way from bedroom. Water pressure poor, carpet lifted, shower head flopped. Dishwasher very noisy, TV tiny (smaller than laptop!). Dishes all dirty. Spare pillow filthy.
not much positive to say about this property. Not normally one to complain.

Best and biggest of Brisbane!

What an amazing apartment in Brisbane's hub at South Bank! It was huge with EVERYTHING - including a washing machine and clothes dryer, dish washer. stove, microwave. large fridge, two TVs, lounge and two leather chairs.It is also well located being not far from South Brisbane railway station. Betty in the office was great and very helpful. An inspired choice indeed.

Great location and facilities

Secure building with modern rooms and equipped kitchenette and laundry. Little balcony to look out and get fresh air. Close to restaurants, supermarket, pub, cafes. South Brisbane train station an easy 7 minute walk, South Bank precinct and the River not far past the station. Easy to get across into the city either walking or the bus. Light sleepers might hear the trains early in the morning. The pool was nice for a dip but short to swim laps. Overall, a great place to stay.

The premises are readily accessible but on a busy street. The rooms need a repair, amongst other things carpets are dirty and tattered. Poor value for money and would avoid in the future. The room was very small and overly cluttered with furniture. For the price there are far better hotel and apartment accommodations.

Nice large apartment. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Let us arrive early to ensure we had parking and as the room was ready we were given access at 11 am.
The apartment was spotless and looked exactly as advertised. Had everything in it that you required for cooking sleeping relaxing.
Very close walking distance to city mall and entertainment.
Only thing that was not perfect was the view.
Right on the train line but in saying this there was very little noise as the trains in that area travelled slowly.
When the balcony door was closed noise was almost non existent.
Enjoyed our stay and would go back again if visiting Brisbane city.

Great location and central to QPAC and all that South Bank has to offer all within walking distance. The railway runs on one side and two main roads run on two other sides of the motel, however as the rooms all have double glazing you would not know it. The rooms are quite (but then again, we were on the top floor). You may hear some noise if you were on one of the lower floors. Everything needed for a night's stay including kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc were available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Limited onsite parking is available, but it is free, no additional charges are made for parking which is a bonus.

We booked through Wotif, requests did not transfer through we were booked into a double bed rather than two singles as requested. When moving beds ourselves we discovered excessive dusty under the bed, rips in the blankets, strains on mattress toppers, etc.

We rang reception after hours to express concerns we were offered an upgrade to a 2-bedroom king suit at no additional cost which we were very happy and grateful for.

The room was a nice stay and was a nice location, only thing I would complain about is the air cons didn’t seem to be working properly, flashing red lights during run time.
Aircons we’re also quite dusty and there was dust hanging on the ceiling in the main room.
Overall the hotel and location is nice, 20 min walk from Suncorp.

Hi there I stayed in the hotel last night.. when we arrived the room smelt strongly of smoking which wasn’t great.. secondly the shower has hairs stuck to all the walls which was actually gross there were so many we had to clean the shower walls ourselves.

I stayed with my partner and twin 2-year-olds. The location is great - we walked to the Cultural Precinct and Streets Beach, plenty of places to eat nearby and a small Woolies Metro about 5 minutes away. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. I would have liked the cot fee to be more reasonable for longer stays (we were there a week, with 2 kids, so we had to bring our own).

We were on the 3rd floor, at eye level with the passing train line which was about 5m from our window. The sound-proofing was excellent, and it amused the toddlers, but we had to keep the windows shut all the time. The lack of exhaust fans in the bathrooms and laundry meant the place tended to get very stuffy and it was difficult to dry our towels and swimmers. No bathtub in either bathroom. The sliding door to the master bedroom didn't have a latch or lock for privacy.

The kitchen was really disappointing. We stayed specifically because we wanted kitchen facilities travelling with kids. There's an oven, no oven trays. No dish drying rack to hand wash kid things. You're provided a single use (plastic) packet of dishwashing liquid although reception was happy to provide more on request. The only frypan was not flat so it didn't heat evenly and the handle was loose. There is a recycling area downstairs but no bin in the room to collect recyclables.

I wouldn't stay here again with toddlers, but with older kids or adults it'd be fine. It could be great with a little attention to detail.

Cozy little apartment - great location!

This was a great find and an exceptional stay. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and incredibly helpful - even when I foolishly locked myself out of my room.

The location is brilliant, a hop, skip and a jump swap from South Brisbane train station and the cultural centre bus station. A quick walk to either West End or the City.

The room was fine for my needs - they are small though. I am glad I booked the one bedroom apartment as that was sufficient for one person but would be too small for 2. I am glad I avoided the studio! If I had one suggested improvement or would be for the staff to ensure more household products were in the room (toilet roll, dishwasher powder). They were stingy on the supplies but happy to provide more when asked. All in all thumbs up from me and I will definitely stay again in my next trip up to BrisVegas.
