Washroom especially the shower needs an update and is not the cleanest. The street is quite noisy so bring ear plugs to be able to sleep. The parking situation is a bit hard with having to bring the parking card after driving out while there is no parking on the street.

If you're solo female, don't travel here the manager is probably gonna comment on this and say a whole bunch of nasty things which aren't true he yelled at me which I have video recording. There's rats and cockroaches, which I will leave pictures here for and also the street is lined with brothels if your solo female do not do not stay here.

The sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable to sleep on. The ladies of the night who were working 5 doors down. They did not bother us in any way. Otherwise it was a great rental. Close enough to all the attractions in Porto.

The place itself seems quite good, for example the location and in general the room was comfortable but there were a couple issues that took longer than should to be resolved. The first was the kitchen had two chairs and both were broken! We complained and didn’t get better ones till the end of day 2 in our 3 day stay. The communication was almost nonexistent, like we had to keep asking them before they dealt with it. Also the shower had to be hand held because the holder was broken. These are two critical issues that should not have to be dealt with by the customer!

We absolutely loved our stat at Oporto Near. It is perfectly located to move around Porto by walk. The apartment manager André was super helpful and always available. We will comeback for sure!!! Obligado! :)

Andre was excellent getting us checked in quickly and easily. The loft was a great set up with everything we needed. Perfect for my husband, son and I. We were on the ground floor so had a private patio. The apartment was very quiet and close to everything. Great place to stay.

We stayed at this property for four nights while tourong Porto. It is centrally located. The staff were extremely helpful providing transport from the train station for 5 euros. As well, they provided information on ehat to see and where to eat. Very helpful. This apartment is licated in a safe area. It is within walking distance to stores, cultural sites and the bus station.

5 stars, 10 out of 10, will stay here again!

Great location, so close to a major supermarket only 2 minutes walk, and 10 minutes from the main shopping strips and restaurants nearby.
Andre greeted me at door and he was incredibly friendly, and was very helpful.
The apartment is very clean, nice comfortable beds and pillows, big shower, etc.
I have nothing bad to say about this apartment hotel, I would give it 5 stars and I would stay here again next time I visit Porto.

Fantastic Host

We arrived and our host was absolutely phenomenal. Andre Ferriera and his team. He went through the city of Porto with is and where to go and what to do during our stay and even to advise where not to go. We also had the opportunity to use the apartment phone to navigate your way around Porto \"free of charge\". As an added extra, we also wereable to purchase the business book to use the recommendation of the host but also receive discounts in places of interest and restaurants. The Apartment was cosy, clean and easy to get to and navigate to points of interest. We have had no issues with this business and would be the first time I give 10/10.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Oporto Apartments. We were well communicated with from the moment we made this booking. When we arrived we were greeted by a kind colleague of the owner who gave us a lot of great recommendations of places we could go to in Porto. The accommodation was clean, close to public transport/within walking distance of all the notable sites and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We would highly recommend that others stay here during their time in Porto.

Inaccurate assessment on Hotels.com

The owner is a very fine, nice and friendly host.
But the pictures on Hotels.com don't reflect the current condition of the place.
Our unit needed some maintenance (walls, doors and carpet a little dirty).
The place clearly lacks a closer attention by the owners.
The area is not nice, at least we didn't like it. Too touristic and messy. Empty (abandoned) buildings around and walls on the street covered in graphite (which I really hate).
Overall experience was not as expected.

We stayed here for 5 nights and from the time we made the booking to the time we left, Andre (apartment owner), was excellent. Communications was great. He was always available if we needed anything and at any time!
The apartment was ideally situated and only a few minutes walk from the City centre. Great coffee shops and restaurants nearby as well.
Andre also has a book for sale showing recommended places to eat and to visit. Only €10, but really useful.
It was really good to have the sofa bed in the room as well - which was a godsend!
All in all, a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.

Good Hosts and Nice Apartment

First of all I must mention the Andre and Luis are excellent hosts. Andre kept in contact with me the whole time I stayed at the apartment and Luis provided us a nice presentation about Porto such as where to go and where to eat. The apartment itself is nice clean and comfortable. Location is convenient and not too far from everything. Definitely recommend and will stay at this place again.

Fantastic service,beautiful flat and family-run

This was booked last minute, at 2130 on the day through Hotels.com customer service on the phone as our original hotel was closed. The owner's son left dinner to check us in, arrived very quickly and recommended things to do in Porto on a map. He was fantastic and answered all our questions and was friendly and spoke excellent English. He also took us to a restaurant (Brasão) which he knew had vegan options and made sure they seated us and sat with us until they did. He was just so wonderful. The apartment was the attic and is beautiful! The hallway with the exposed stone, enormous light well and the apartment with the enormous bed, fantastic bathroom and kitchen essentials was lovely. I couldn't recommend it enough.

OportoNear is not really near anything. The kitchen was really poorly equipped and therefore useless. The promised airport shuttle didn't arrive. OportoNear needs to up their game considerably. Besides we still have no idea what the ordered \"champagne service\" entails.

stayed for over a week and did not get a change of towels which did not get dry as there was no room to hang them anywhere beside 2 hooks on the bedroom wall - ventilation noise from outside - outside the window a \"courdyard\" which is actually the back of houses with laundry, ventilation ducts and old unfinished walls - worst of all was the wet smell from the walls! we didn't even have breakfast in this smelly room. The sofabed was very uncomfortable.

Oporto Near er et fantastisk sted, med en skøn beliggenhed, hvor næsten alt i smukke Porto er i gåafstand! Vi var så glade for at bo der, André’s hjælp og anbefalinger til byen er virkelig værd at lytte til og gjorde vores oplevelse meget bedre end forventet - han er simpelthen så hjælpsom, også efter vi checkede ud og tog videre mod Lissabon ! Derudover er lejlighederne super fine og selvom gaden er trafikkeret, kan det ikke høres på værelset.

Super recomendable. Nada más llegar, André, nos explicó la mejor ruta para hacer en Oporto y así no perdernos nada. La atención espectacular. La ubicación muy buena, a cinco minutos andando del centro centro. El apartamento muy moderno y limpio. Además cumplen en todo momento con las medidas impuestas del Covid-19.
