This is a very decent hotel that has a great, quiet location, 15 minutes by foot from the center of Novigrad and away from the tourist noise and hubbub. The staff are very professional and helpful, the property is very clean, brunch style breakfast is very abundant. One drawback regarding food is that there are no kosher options; basically any meat other than pork is hard to find. The rooms are okay but they are really small and that’s the other drawback. Reportedly, it’s sister hotel Maestral (next to it) is newer and better in many respects so feel free to consider it; prices are very comparable.

Very simple, a bit crowded, ...

Simple and small rooms. The Hotel is not really on a 3 star level, but it looks, that in the southern of Europe you need to take one Star away to have a comparable rating.
When we arrived our booked room has not been available and the (friendly) staff at the reception did not really know what to do. They apologized and offered us a one bed room.
Apart from this the Hotel is getting a bit old and worn out. Showers are clean, very small, and light blue. As said, it is more on a 2 star level.

The breakfast offering is very good, they have a great variety, so every taste is served.

What is good is the location, walking distance to Novigrad with a lot of Restaurants, very close to the beach.

When you arrive by car, you should know, that the parking around the Hotel is fairly limited.

So all in all, if you just want to sleep, its OK. For a longer stay it might be a bit to simple.

Short escape to Laguna

Hotel is located a short walk from town center. It has a very nice hotel beach. Food is delicious and personnel is very friendly. Rooms are very clean in spacey.

good budget hotel

This 3 star hotel is part of a complex including the 4 star Maestral hotel and a campground. We had booked it for 2 nights and it was alright for a short stay. The rooms are very small –not even 12 m2-, the bathrooms only 2,27 m2 and the balcony 3,3 m2 (according to the escape plan in the room). If you only use the space for sleeping it’s alright otherwise it feels really cramped. The mattress was not very good for our backs. We looked across a parking lot over to the campground and there was no sun due to two big pine trees but it was quiet (room # 245). We only got 30 minutes of free internet in the room otherwise the use was free in the lobby. We had a small roach in the room and some of the grout in the shower was moldy.
At this time of the year there were lounge chairs at the pool available. The rocky beach is only a short foot path away. We had booked half board and were satisfied with the selection on the buffet. Red and white wine and beer are free with the dinner and that is self service. Although the tables and chairs in the dining room seem to be new and the room is painted in friendly colours it feels rather like a factory canteen.
If you are on a budget the hotel is acceptable. It is an easy walk to the pretty town center of Novigrad.

pleasant weekend in Laguna Hotel

We booked a room literally at the last minute.
Already at the reception, we noticed that here threy know to take care of their guests.
Taking into account the price and equipment of the hotel, this was a very enjoyable weekend in Novigrad.

The only criticism is the lack of a mini bar in the room, but for a weekend stay you do not need it.

Die Klimaanlage war nicht funktionsfähig, obwohl es im Zimmer bereits früh morgens sehr warm war. Auf Nachfrage sagte die Rezeption, dass die Klimaanlage deaktiviert sei, weil es in den Nächten noch kühl sei.
Die Getränkepreise beim Abendbuffet sind sehr hoch.

Alle sehr nett und bemüht! Außer die Herren bei den Kostenpflichtigen Liegen und Sport Aktivitäten! Die sind unfreundlich und das obwohl du für alles extra zahlen musst! Erst für unbequeme Liegen 16€ verlangen und dann noch 36min warten lassen für die Liegen und dann erst auf mehrmalige Nachfrage diese aufsperren usw. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das Essen etwas Verbesserungswürdig! Aber insgesamt ok!

Das Personal im Aminess Laguna ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Einrichtung v.a. der Zimmer allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen
Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, es gibt nur eine Steckdose im ganzen Zimmer. Kleine Annehmlichkeiten wie Kühlschrank,Flaschenöffner oder Wasserkocher sind auf dem Zimmer nicht vorhanden.

Szoba tiszta, de rendkívül kicsi, a reggeli elfogadható volt, a vacsora; tèsztafèlèk ízetlenek, az èdessèg szörnyen èdes volt, minden nap ugyan az, számomra fogyaszthatatlan,A szállás elhelyezkedèse KIVÁLÓ. Ami számomra elfogadhatatlan volt, reggel úgy takarították a medencèt, hogy nem voltak tekintettel a pihenni vágyó vendègekre húzógatták a szèkeket, asztalokat, hangosak voltak, mindet fèl 7 kor.

Ottima struttura sulle spiagge di Novigrad

L'hotel si trova in ottima posizione a poca distanza dal centro di Novigrad, raggiungibile a piedi attraverso i sentieri delle belle strutture sulle spiagge, ma c'è anche il trenino turistico. I servizi sono eccellenti, sia all'interno che fuori, dalla splendida piscina all'ingresso fino alle due spiagge bandiera blu molto ben organizzate. Unica pecca, che stona con il resto, è il pagamento extra delle bevande, anche dell'acqua, per la cena in mezza pensione, mentre per colazione ritornano a funzionare i dispenser acqua. Per il resto tutto ok

Nonostante il prezzo elevato, sicuramente perchè era la settimana di ferragosto, la struttura è veramente ok, peccato la scelta di far pagare ombrelloni e lettini al mare e nonostante vengano pagati si deve fare il rally alla mattina per poter usufruire del servizio, anzichè prenotare i lettini per l'intero soggiorno.
Nonostante le garanzie di ripristino del wifi nelle stanze, da parte dello staff, il wifi NON è presente nelle stanze.
Molto comoda la passeggiata lungomare per raggiungere la città di Novigrad.
Tutti i servizi sono raggiungibili a piedi.
Organizzazione dei parcheggi veramente orribile.
Ma come detto, era la settimana di ferragosto.
Staff veramente preparato.

Insgesamt sehr unzufrieden!

Im Gegensatz zum Aminess Maestral (4 Sterne) ist ein sehr großer Unterschied. Das Frühstück könnte abwechslungseicher sein und auch das Buffet abends. Was sehr unangenehm war: Einmal war im Salat ein Marienkäfer, im großen Joghurtbehälter eine Spinne. Vielleicht sollte öfter mal vom Personal kontrolliert werden! Die Tischdecken wurden ebenfalls nicht sehr oft gewechselt.
Was auch noch empfehlenswert wäre, wenn man die Einrichtungen des Aminess Maestral kostenlos benutzen dürfte, z. B. Fitnessstudio, Innenpool. Auch wäre es gut, wenn Duschen eingerichtt würden, die man am Tag der Abreise (nach Check-out) benutzen könnte, damit auch der letzte Tag noch genutzt werden kann. Parkplatzsituation ist eine Zumutung!

Preis- Leistung ist ist in Ordnung! Essen Frühstück wie Abendessen ausgezeichnet! Das Einzige was wirklich ein Problem dargestellt hat , war die Klimaanlage! Sehr laut und ohne Wirkung! Personal sehr freundlich und die Lage passt! Liegen am Pool muss man in der früh reservieren sonst bekommt man keine! Liegen am Strand sind zu bezahlen! Wir waren Radfahren, hat alles gepasst!

albergo si 2 passi dal mare ma con dei però stanse per 2 persone gia piccole mancava aria noi eravamo in 3 non cera spazzio per muoversi la stanza era sporca non capaci neanche a rifare i letti per uscire nrl balcone dovevamo passare sui letti perche il 3 letto era davanti la finestra le persone interno albergo gentili il personale spiaghia che faceva sempre parte del residence essendo noi italiani ci trattavano con disprezzo chiedevi acqua fresca te la davano calda chiedevi bottiglia da 1 l ti dicevano che non cera quando 2 secondi prima vedevi le casse che le mettevano a posto e la davano ad altri clienti non ci tornerei mai più lo sconsiglio caro arrabbiato i chioschi non espongono prezzi non sai mai quanto costa un gelato non ho fatto foto perchè non mi piaceva per niente mon ho nemmeno pensato a far una foto

Gute Lage aber katastrophale Zimmer

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt meiner Meinung nach in diesem Hotel nicht. Die Zimmer sind viel zu klein, ohne Safe. Kein Kühlschrank und schlechte Klimaanlage. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, da es direkt am Strand liegt. Sportmöglichkeiten sind auch ok. Essen ebenso ok. Insgesamt gesehen würde ich das Hotel nicht wieder besuchen, da ich den Preis zu hoch finde, für das was geboten wird.

Ganz ok

Im ersten Moment hat uns das Hotel und Zimmer sehr gut gefallen. Zimmer etwas klein aber trotzdem ok.
Jedoch ist es mir so vorgekommen, dass das Zimmer seit der letzten Saison vom Reinigungpersonal nicht mehr betreten wurde (vorallem das Bad und der Balkon). Stärker Rost oder was auch immer,in der Toilette,wurde aber am nächsten Tag beseitigt. Schwarze Flecken in der Dusche (ich denke Schimmel) und der Balkon war total verschmutzt,wir haben die Sessel selbst gereinigt um hier sitzen zu können. In den ganzen Tagen wurde der Balkon nicht einmal vom Vogeldreck gereinigt ( Dreck und spinnweben am Geländer und auf der wäscheleine ).
Komischerweise bei den Zimmern daneben wurde der Balkon schon gereinigt....
Am letzten Tag war das Wasser in der Dusche brennheiß,wir haben die Auskunft vom Personal bekommen,das Wasser rinnen zu lassen. Es wurde dann kühler, so das man sich duschen konnte. Doch als ich dann nochmal meine Haare abspülen wollte,war es wieder brennheiß.....war dann nicht so angenehm.
Vielleicht hatte alles damit zu tun,dass es Anfang Saison war.
Ich würde es vielleicht nochmal probieren,weil es ansonsten ok war (Frühstück, strandnah, tennisplätze,stadtnähe). Mitarbeiter beim Frühstück sind sehr freundlich!!

Nice hotel in a nice hotel complex

Aminess Laguna Hotel is a nice hotel in a nice hotel complex and very close to the beach. The staff is very friendly. Novingrad is very easy to reach by walking along the beach for 10 minutes.
