The hotel is situated in a very convenient location to many popular tourist destinations. The facilities are very clean and the staff is very friendly. They offer breakfast in the morning which is excellent. I will definitely consider staying at Saigon Hotel the next time I visit HCMC!

I have stayed here many times and normally it's an excellent stay. They messed up my room reservation and I received a terrible room with no balcony. Nothing to view or have a smoke if needed. I always ask for a balcony and this should be a matter of record at this point. I requested a balcony when I booked the room. This stay was disappointing.

Asa muslim traveller, the grand mosque is just a door steps and also halal saigon restaurent just beside the hotel. If want to go to shoping ben thant market and malaysia street about 2km. Easy to get grab. Breakfast if not cheaper better dont take because only eggs, bread, fruits and cerial. Other is non halal. Better bring your own food coz food is very expensive.

Hotl is old but well maintains. Air conditioning is good, breakfast is variety and location is centre in the city. They give me 2nd floor, room is very noisy from road side till midnight. 5am in the morning start noise already.

Pleasant hotel. Great location. Terrific staff.

This hotel was a great start to our holiday in Vietnam. Our room faced the street and had great views of the city. The only problem was the constant traffic noise and noise of people driving past using megaphones advertising things for sale in the early hours of the morning. Perhaps double glazing on windows might help keep the noise down so residents can sleep at night

The staff at Saigon Hotel were excellent. We were very pleased with our stay. We had booked 4 nights initially and one additional night after a visit to Hoi An and the hotel agreed to hold our bags for when we return. They also gave us the same rooms when we got back. The hotel is located in the Dong Khoi area and is ideal to walk around to many restaurants, places of interest like the GPO, Town Hall, Opera house, Notre Dame cathedral etc. The breakfast buffet had a mixture of continental and Asian food, the rooms were clean and well maintained. We would go back there any time.

Horrible WiFi, Fake Fitness Center

After a bad budget hotel on arrival at HCM City, I needed on returning from the Mekong Delta a first-class hotel for an internet and email catch-up, and a few aerobic workouts. The Saigon Hotel failed to deliver on both needs, falsely advertising on Hotels.com, and spoiled my visit.
Their WiFi was very difficult to connect to, VERY slow, and frequently disconnected. A nightmare. Management promised a fix but did absolutely nothing.
The Fitness Center is a 5m x 12m space with only 3 machines. No Elliptical despite that being the #1 machine in fitness centers; no benches, no free weights. With my orthopedic limitations I went back to my room.

There was mold in the bathroom and main room. The carpet was wrinkled and stained badly. The room smelled very musty. Good breakfast with great restaurant view and friendly staff. Can't beat the location right across from a Mosque near Dong Khoi. Lots of interesting stuff going on close to the hotel.

Great value for money in Saigon. The location is great, close to many restaurants, spas and attractions. We walked everywhere while here for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was different each day but always consisted of made to order eggs and pho soup - delicious! The only two minor down falls were that the room had a musty smell and you could hear the noise of the street (although not an issue until the morning as the street is fairly quiet). Overall, a great stay and I would recommend!

Close to major 5 star hotels to attend business conference without breaking your budget. They pressed my shirt for next day after normal hours, Staff was very helpfill, room was very clean, hot water in shower right away no wait. Great hotel in good location. I will stay there again.

Great value for money in a convenient location

Check-in was a breeze, even though we arrived early at 12pm. Room and bathroom were super clean & in tip-top condition. In fact this was the cleanest bathroom that we've ever experienced (even better than 5-star hotels). Loved the cold a/c and strong water pressure. The fruit plate was a nice touch. Breakfast selection was limited but tasty enough. Staff were polite and helpful throughout our whole stay.

Our only gripes: the mattress could be more comfortable and the mini fridge was not really cold.

Located in the very strategic place for shopping and pray (for moslem), service is excellent, room and toilet are very clean. Very recommend for such a business trip but due to lack of swimming pool perhaps for leisure trip is not match unless your purpose in this hotel is only bed and breakfast and then go out for sight seeing and shopping.

We booked a room with window. They put us in one with small window. We asked for another, they transferred us to one with huge window, which we liked a lot. Just wonder why they did not put us in this one first. Should it be that whoever books first should have the best room? We think so and hope the hotel will agree.

Everything surprisingly good for the price. We felt very good taken care of because of the great service & friendly staff.
Cool lively neighborhood with hip cafes & good restaurants & shopping opportunities (budget-high end) just around the corner. All sights walkable. Good breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs any style & Vietnamese specialties freshly cooked for you. Secret tip: sunrise from the gym (old machines but functional, worked for us). Fast reliable internet.

The room was nice with a good view of the city. While checking into the hotel, I was faced with a huge crisis of allowing my fiancé to stay in he same room with me because she is asian. Simultaneously another man was having the same issue on the other side of the lobby. Then every night thereafter, she was harassed by the doorman or the desk staff when we would return after a night of fun. They would assume she is a prostitute and interrogate her about if she was really staying at the hotel and what room she was in. They did this in front of me and I was wildly offended daily. After a week, I had to confront the manager about it. While checking out we were almost late for our airplane because it took an hour to check out, and they wanted to charge an additional $40 for two pairs of cheapo slippers that were later found under the bed.
Overall, I liked the hotel, but the staff was overly aggressive and not comforting.

I stayed at the Saigon Hotel for two nights in March 2014 while attending a Conference held there. The location is very central, right in the heart of town. The hotel has quite a large lobby and I found the rooms suitable spacious and immaculate. The staff spoken English very well and were very helpful.

The hotel, in my experience, had two drawbacks. The window in my room opened out to a wall three metres away, so there was no view. However, a certain amount of light did come in through the window.

I had no wifi connection in my room most of the time, even though I had a dedicated modem on the desk. The staff helpfully suggested I log on to some other room, or failing that, come down to the lobby. The wifi in the lobby worked every time. I noticed other guests also had the same complaint.

At breakfast a staff member asked if I had any complaints, and when I mentioned this problem, she said it was a problem with the internet for the whole country, not just the hotel. Since wifi worked in the lobby, and in cafes along the street, this seemed a dubious explanation. Another guest told her he had been staying a week and the problem had persisted the whole time.

Situated near the top hotels.

This hotel is opposite the Sheraton and near the best hotels in Saigon. It's decore
is a little old fashioned but elegant.The lobby staff are very savvy and obliging. They
wont let taxi drivers cheat you. The breakfast buffet was without fault.The location is
near the Opera (sometimes called the Municipal Theatre),close to tourist restaurants
and near the riverfront.
If forced to include a negative I would mention the lack of an electric jug though the
best hotels don't have them. Also the hotel is opposite the Central Mosque from where the call to prayer is heard at dawn.

Expediaであるあるナノですが、
予約の時に写真で窓付きのお部屋を予約したのに貴方の予約は窓なしでしたが窓付きのお部屋にしてあげました。とフロントで言われる。
そして予約の時の部屋の写真の部屋より小さい窓だった。
お風呂のお湯はシャワーのみのお湯の量のようです。
湯船にお湯を溜めるとシャワーは水・・・
人数がいたら最後の人は水やん。
お湯が出なくて風邪をひいてしまいました。
スタッフの方等親切で笑顔が素敵＆親切
朝食も美味しかったし充実してました。

Toller Aufenthalt, ich würde definitiv wiederkommen!

Die Lage ist perfekt: super zentral, aber trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Genau das, was man nach einem langen Tag in der Stadt braucht.

Ich hatte aus Versehen ein Zimmer ohne Fenster gebucht, aber das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat mir ein Zimmer mit Fenster gegeben – das habe ich wirklich sehr geschätzt!

Das Frühstück war super mit einer guten Auswahl, und das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt, immer sauber und ordentlich.
Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer und komfortabler Aufenthalt. Klare Empfehlung 👍

場所はドンコイ通りから近く市内の中心部です　ベトナムらしいシンプルな部屋でダブルベッドとシングルベッドがあって非常に大きな部屋で快適に過ごせます朝ごはんも日替わりで色んな物が出ておりました
