My stay was not good. First time staying here. The first night I got almost no rest. I was already tired and the freezer started making a howling sound at 4am. Eventually it happened again a couple hours later...and AGAIN. I went to the front desk a couple hours later. Asked for a different room. Never got one (I wanted one more for piece of mind since I had almost no rest for 30 hours or so) and even though the problem was fixed...on check out a few days later I asked for a refund for my first night and was told nobody could help me at the front desk. The two people at the front desk were ZERO help and the guy who worked 3rd shift (short white guy with a goatee) is the rudest person I've ever met in mtl. He criticized me for not dealing with my situation in other ways. I'll never come back

For a low cost stay in Montréal, our stay was perfect. The hotel is located walking distance from Old Montréal, the underground city as well as the pier. The room was clean with no signs of bedbugs or other critters. We stayed in room 401 which was on the 4th floor on the street side which was away from the street sounds, but also had a small balcony overlooking the street below. Our room had two closets, a sink, stove and a small refrigerator. Breakfast took some finding, but you are rewarded with excellent croissants, as well as the standard hotel breakfast fare. Parking in their garage one street over was extra at $40C a night, but worth having a protected parking spot in a busy city with 24 hour access. We would definitely use this hotel on future trips.

The hotel served it purpose really well. We were in town for a concert at Parc Jean-Drapeau. The hotel is conveniently located steps to the Berri-UQAM Metro station, so getting to the concert was easy. In addition, it is steps to St. Catharine street and easy to go shopping and check out all the pubs and restaurants in the area.

We didn't use the kitchenette but it was nice to have a fridge, microwave, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. available. Breakfast was a lot better than expected--croissants, Montreal-style bagels, boiled eggs, fruit etc. Metro stop is conveniently less than a 5 minute walk away. Parking garage ramp is steep and narrow, but if you drive carefully it's not so bad. Parking was $25 per night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

My early check-in was not accomodated. I was given a room that looked nothing like the advertised picture. It was dark and faced a terribly looking interior courtyard. Room was clean. Breakfast was okay. I felt like I was staying at a homeless shelter. I'm not sure I would recommend this hotel as I was really disappointed in my stay and did not feel comfortable here.
