Our ground floor room at the rear of the motel was pleasantly quiet overnight, despite the motel’s frontage to a busy highway. The room was spacious, with breakfast table and chairs as well as two small armchairs. Bed was comfortable, aircon worked well. We appreciated the toaster and microwave, as well as the usual frig, tea and coffee tray.
The bathroom was compact, small vanity but good shower (no grab bar) and excellent use of mirrors to enhance lighting.
We dined at the Gympie RSL club which is a 0.4km, well-lit, slightly uphill walk from the motel.

I didn’t have high expectations for an Inn/motel but this place could teach some Sydney snotty hotels a lot of lessons! From the exceptionally friendly, genuine care for our needs at check in through to the spacious modernised room with giant tv and great facilities incl microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle etc. bathroom was immaculate and bed super comfy. Well decorated and also lovely lounge and dining table/chairs. Exceptional for the price on a very popular Saturday night during school holidays. Can’t recommend it enough! Thank you to the lovely receptionist who helped us out

It is a lovely looking motel, parking is great. We had a family room (room 18)
The beds were terrible. Springs were apparent while trying to sleep in the queen bed. The single bed was wobbly and my daughter fell out of it.
In the separate room, the two beds the one on the left had a hairnet in the bed, but other than that the shower was great. There was milk in the fridge. I was so tired I would’ve slept on a concrete slab.

We stayed here due to location to the hospital which was good. The Room (#10) is very tired with broken towel rails, no bath mat and no fridge shelves. Reasonably clean although carpet felt tacky. Lady very helpful however elderly man quite rude and didn’t seem to know what was going on (he couldn’t find my booking which was clearly in the system).
Overall a reasonable stay for the price.

Don’t stay here

Our room looked nothing like the photos. The smoke detector had been removed, no towel rail at all in the bathroom, light fixtures full of bugs, and the pool was empty.

Rooms very dated, smell bad and Aurcon doesn’t work. It is by far not worth the $155, more like $70 a night. There wasn’t even a car park infront of the room. Staff are really nice people and very welcoming won’t stay there again, ever.
