It was cold, dark and the rain had started to fall. We were late arriving but that was no trouble. The staff were friendly and hospitable and suggested the restaurant within the complex for our dinner. Brilliant ! Some delicious options there. The room was basic but was clean had everything we needed. A mattress topper wouldn’t go astray. Tea and coffee and bikkies appreciated ! Above all fantastic service from the team.

Very friendly Managers who started at Christmas. Surprised at how quiet the room was as the Motel is accessed by a side road next to the highway. Our room was located at the rear of the site and we did not have any traffic noise. There is a beautiful park directly opposite. We will definitely stay there again.

Disappointing

Hard to work out where to park , roadworks makes it hard to find, windows filthy, water on bathroom floor still from mopping upon arrival, no pilliwcases on the spare pillows in the cupboard, no water in the ice cube tray, front door had dirt smears on it, outside patio was filthy , used cigggarette butts in pots at the front of the door , powerpoints not working seriously i used to be a cleaner / room attendant in hospitality and I would give it a one out of 10 for the pre service of the room and cleaning

Mould in bathroom . Squashed bugs on the pull down blind . Light rail over bed makes sitting up in bed uncomfortable and prone to bumping head on it . Plus not really cheap as far as motels go .

the air conditioner was leaking water all over my paperwork.
the extraction fan in the toilet did not work!
staff were rude .I cancelled my stay and was told I was not entitled for a refund.
so I told the manager to charge me an extra day and they promised to pay me back $1,000 in $300 dollars a week.
worst place I have ever stayed in ,I do not recommend this place.

Room was clean but very dated, with paint peeling and what looked like mould on bathroom ceiling. Manager was not very professional, seen walking around property smoking and there was a pot plant left outside room full of cigarette butts (was a non smoking room). Would not stay here again.

We had a team so booked 4 rooms for 1 night. Everything was clean & neat however outdated. The mattress was old & saggy which didn’t help with a quick layover. Pool & gardens were nice, parking was a challenge as some spaces don’t accommodate large vehicles.

Room 28 - though an older style motel - was very clean and located toward the rear of the premises and away from highway traffic noise.

My only dislike was a musty odour on first entry to the room. It wasn't overwhelming but was strong enough to be somewhat off-putting.

The property a bit run down. The staff were lovely. My only complaint is The beds. I needed a good night sleep. Our queen was hard and you could see the faults in the mattress through the quilt. You could feel the springs in the single bed. I would definetly pay more for comfortable beds. Meal was excellent.

Easy check-in and check-out, comfortable bed, private, clean room, hot shower, eco-friendly refillable soap / shampoo / conditioner, plenty of climate control options (opening windows, fan, a/c and heater), and close to visitor information centre and park (across the road) and town (a few minutes drive. Recommended, enjoyed our stay.

Great location with plenty of parking for our larger car and trailer.
Beds were really old and uncomfortable and the whole room could do with a make over to get rid of stained carpet, blinds etc. Also a washing machine and dryer would be great in the “family” room.
Aircon we’re freezing (which was great) even though they were old style as well.
