Friendly and helpful staff. This place has electricity 24/7. The AC did not fail - Hallelujah! In the event of a power outage, there is a backup generator, which came through (without delay) a couple of times during my stay. The free WIFI works like a charm. Rooms come with free satellite TV for entertainment and more. Netflix, Youtube, etc were available on the Smart TV in my room.

I couldn't figure out how to get hot water from the shower and never asked, so that's on me!

I didn't walk the neighborhood at night, so can't speak to that, but I did so comfortably during the day. There is a nearby STOP & SHOP convenience store selling everything from paper towels to biscuits and more. It's just a two-minute ride in a keh-keh (or 3-wheel taxi) from the hotel. Get some snacks and extra bottle water from there if you're going to be in town for a while.

There's a mobile money agent right across the street from the hotel, if you're in a jam for cash and have a balance - they accept both Orange and MTN customers.

Located in the heart of the city and to most attraction centers, this facility is an ideal place to stay for pleasure and business trips. The staff are nice and always willing to assistant. The price is worth it!

The staffs were mostly great. The two girls that were working during the day shift were professionally and very helpful. I love how spacious the room is. I wish they had a gym at the hotel. The main issue during my stay was the Wi-Fi issue. The Wi-Fi signal in my room was extremely weak. I had to use my starlink most of the time. Even though there were a lot of loud voices during the early mornings, I planned to make at least one more week reservation at this hotel.

The biggest asset to this place is the staff, all of whom without an exception are great, professional, warm and helpful! The second best thing is the food. Kudos to the chef who makes aithentic home-made meals with fresh ingredients - 10/10!

This was my third time staying at Afrilodge, and every time I stay it is clear that the team is committed to making improvements for a great lodging experience.

The rooms are well taken care of, the Wifi was excellent, the water was hot, and the food was great. Those are my lodging non-negotiables, and very glad that there was no issue with power, the backup generator was always reliable. The staff is always courteous, kind, and accommodating for early and late check outs, which I always appreciate with my work schedule.

Once the debit/credit card paying system is fully functional, there is no reason I will not commit to this being my go-to hotel in Monrovia. I look forward to being welcomed back very soon! Thank you, Afrilodge team.

Great location, price, and staff

I chose Afrilodge because it looked like it would be close to the sights I wanted to see on the map. It was perfect. I was able to walk literally everywhere. It is located on a main street and easy to reach Providence island, the museum, churches, and monuments in about 10 minutes walking in most cases. The staff were all very friendly and kind, and helped me whenever I had questions. The only thing that could be improved is the food. The restaurant doesn't serve African food, ironic from a place called Afrilodge, and it left a lot to be desired especially for the price. But, if I ever came back I would stay here again. Spacious, clean room, with a desk and chair as well as an arm chair and a smart TV. Really well-appointed for an affordable price. Thanks!

10/10 - Modern and Comfortable

I was very impressed. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the A/C worked great, and everything (including the shower) was updated and modern. The service was great too. Would absolutely stay here again.
