disappointed in front desk to cancel buffet that was accidently ordered when booking. Got the run around and they said I had to call Expedia. then the buffet was terrible. eggs you couldnt eat, bacon that was off temp. and chop suey and pasta that had no sauce for breakfast. Then they said the sunday brunch was extra and they had no breakfast buffet that day. Plus a long black hair in pineapple. After that we only ate at pool or offsite

If you’re looking for quiet and relaxation, this is not the place. There is loud techno/club music at the pool from morning until evening. During our stay, a DJ played on three separate days, and the volume made it impossible to read or relax. There are no quiet areas on the property to escape the music—it’s unavoidable. Our two 21 year olds felt the music was too much and detracted from their experience.
If long beach walks are important to you, this hotel will also disappoint. The property sits on a small cove with very coarse sand, allowing only about a five-minute walk. The beach is not swimmable due to sea urchins. Nearby walking options are limited to streets lined with apartments and hotels, eventually leading to the highway.
Because of this, we spent time in the gym, which is small but well-equipped, and guests were respectful about sharing equipment.
The service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, accommodating, and attentive. Rooms were beautiful and spotless daily, and the team did everything possible to make our stay comfortable.
While the hotel and views are stunning, the experience isn’t what I’m looking for. I don’t want loud music forced on me—I want peace, quiet, and walkable beaches. For that reason, I would not return.

My friend and I booked the same time for the same price but they got a larger room with a bathtub and when I asked about the bathtub they said our room we booked won’t have one so I’m not sure how that happened. It was fine the room was nice enough and the bed was so comfy, very clean and the view was perfect! The breakfast was amazing at the ledge and sunken bar, I just didn’t want to leave! The sushi and Baja ceviche at the pool was the best we’ve ever had. Sadly we had to miss our reservation at manta but I would definitely visit the cape again. Everyone was so nice and welcoming it was a perfect 30th birthday trip.

We checked into a Panoramic suite with plunge pool. The pictures make the room look bigger than it actually is. We checked out within a hour of being property. The comforter on the bed was stained and discolored. When we held the comforter up the stains were disgusting. The sheets were discolored. For a Hyatt property this was very disheartening. For a $2000 a night room this was frustrating. I am fighting for a full refund. Buyer beware.

The hotel emailed me days before check in asking if we were celebrating anything, I let them know and they surprised with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. This was my favorite hotel we have ever stayed at in Cabo and we have stayed just about everywhere. We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and they upgraded our room. The staff was so nice and the place was gorgeous. The food at every restaurant on the property (including room service) was unbelievably good. A balcony stretching from living area to bedroom. The view was directly across bay to three arches of Cabo San Lucas. The staff was excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. We had an excellent stay at The Cape and cannot wait to go back. We stayed in one of the ocean view panoramic suites and highly recommend those rooms- the view and patio were incredible. Service was top notch and we felt everyone was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate us everywhere we went on the resort. Location is great with a wonderful view of the arch. The food was good, but was pricey, but that was not unexpected at a resort like this (in my experience, most times with travel you get what you pay for), and we loved the tasting menu at Manta. Location is great as long as you are not looking to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Cabo party scene (which we were not)- it’s a short (10min) drive into Cabo and a little longer drive to visit the restaurants and art galleries in San Juan. The beach is beautiful and great for photo ops, but a bit rough and rocky- not swimmable, but fun to watch the surfers. If you are thinking of staying here, do it- we could not recommend this resort enough and hope to be back soon!

Amazing!! Best views in Cabo. Hotel was phenomenal. Room was fabulous. Staff was super helpful. So fun to watch the surfers. Spa was nice.
Only complaints are that prices for food and beverage are very high but to be expected. Service at pool a little slow. Gym was always super crowded and its small. Cant really walk the beach from this location. 10 min Uber into Cabo, so not far but you are a little isolated on the property.

Loved The Cape
We loved The Cape it was a 4 day \"get me away from everything\" trip and it was successful at The Cape. They made us feel taken care of and very safe. The hotel is in a perfect spot with views of The Arch and whale sitings galore. The resort is small which is what we were looking for in a place. No big families, no kids (maybe 4 or 5) FYI I love kids but wanted quiet and we had it. The food and drinks were fabulous and the service was a 10! I reccomend highly!

Amazing resort. Everything is done so well. The grounds are well cared for and the rooms are amazing with the ocean views. There are “daybeds” on the balcony and we spent hours just relaxing. Not sure if the pool is heated but it was plenty warm enough to swim in-this is from someone that does not like cool water. Also, it’s great there is a hot tub, that was not clear on website.
The service is distinctive. The people are genuine and not the fake good service. Wish all hotels and stores trained employees this way. The only two areas that were not as great. One was the Rooftop bar. We were seated at the worst table and had to ask to be moved, which they did. Also a bit of upselling of offering water immediately and it turns out it was $16US for two bottles of water. This didn’t happen at the other restaurants. The other wish is bigger coffee cups at the Ledge in the morning at breakfast. We were having to ask for coffee refills often, which they were happy to do. Overall, one of the best resorts from around the world we have been to and one of the few we would go back to.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel with the most stunning views. Watching humpback whales breach from the infinity pool was simply unbelievable. Sunsets are the best and the staff are great to work with. My only critique would be that the food and beverages are quite expensive.

This is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff could not be more hospitable. They were attentive and friendly. We wished the beach were longer as we like to take beach walks. The fitness room was clean and had good equipment. This is a good property for relaxing by the pool with amazing views.

We've stayed at The Cape twice now, and both times we had the most amazing experience. We can't wait to go back again. Everything was wonderful from the rooms to the service and everything in between. You can't beat the location and the views. We've stayed in the panoramic room and the deluxe king room, and both were excellent. Definitely stay here if you come to Cabo!

I extended my vacation and moved from Las Venatanas al Paraiso to The Cape for a couple of nights and was glad to finally stay at this hotel.
My Deluxe King Suite felt like it was straight above the ocean and has an incredible view of the surfers in the morning and the crashing waves and the beautiful pools. The suite felt modern, hip and very comfortable and spacious.
Service was excellent, from the front desk staff to the concierge team and the housekeeping staff, all were attentive. I felt well taken care of.
And finally, the restaurant The Ledge offered fresh and delicious options so I had breakfast and lunch there on three separate occasions.
Would stay there again.
