The king bed room on the first floor was a very tiny space. There was no vanity in the sink area so hard to set things out. The water was great for a shower! The continental breakfast was great ! The view from the front porch was of the ocean with plenty of seating!

The staff was excellent and pleasant. The parking, check in and location were all excellent. The outdoor furniture that was part of my room was really dusty and dirty and I wish I was able to sit and use that part of my room while I was there. The couch in my room was very stained. I do think the staff could wipe down the outdoor furniture that is connected to the rooms. The fruit at the continental breakfast was moldy. I always enjoy the shore house locations so I know the cleanliness mentioned above is location specific and does not represent the brand.

We had a quick overnight in Narragansett for a URI event for our son. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location of the Shore House is right on the water so we could enjoy listening to the ocean. The only negative was the bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The location of the Shore House was perfect. It was so nice to be able to sit outside and watch the ocean. The walk to the beach was a short one. The restaurant attached to the Shore House was top notch. Our room was clean and modern. The decor was reminiscent of an older era. It had everything we needed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Jen and Liz at the front desk. It felt like we were coming home each time we entered. They knew us by our names when they saw us. We will definitely stay at the Shore House again. We would definitely recommend it.

Stayed here one night while passing through. Room was smaller than I expected (patio king). I also assumed the patio was attached to the room but it was not. Room floor was dirty (sand, etc.) otherwise room was clean. Our coffee pot didn’t work. There was a $50 dog fee upon check in that wasn’t listed at time of booking online so that was a surprise. Staff were super friendly and happy to see our dogs. We did receive a doggy gift bag at check in. Hotel was in a great location. Restaurant attached to hotel was nice as well.

We loved the location and clean facility. Room # 32 was emailed to us as an upgraded room with more charge. We got there, the room was very cold, heater worked poorly, no desk, no chair to sit on. No dun coming through. We had handicap sticker, climbing mall that stairs was very difficult. Definitely this room was not an upgrade!!!!!!!! When we first arrived the receptionist was not warm and welcoming. We asked to change room for next day. They changed it. Better toom.

It was great for a one night stay. Small and clean with water views which was great. I left a phone charger there and tried for an entire day to speak to an actual person at the hotel. Could not speak to a person after trying everything. They will not answer at the front desk so make sure you do not leave any belongings there. Thy never reached out to me either. So do not leave anything behind !!

Excellent location right across from the water, walking distance to beach, about 10 minutes. Food in the restaurant was excellent and they had a nice happy hour. The free breakfast had oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, english muffins, pastries, granola bars, coffee, tea. Our stay was very quiet except for being able to hear our neighbors upstairs walking around. Would love to stay here again.

Beds are short. I am 5’6” and my feet were hanging off the bed.

We thought the hotel room was spacious and had zero issues. Having the continental breakfast was great! We actually ate dinner all 3 nights we stayed at the restaurant attached to the hotel because we were tired and it was convenient and delicious! We enjoyed the firepit on the chilly evenings. Walking distance to the beach which was nice even in the off season.

The dumpster had trash outside of it for days. You could smell it from the front side of the building. Bags of wash sat out in the parking lot. Floors were never cleaned. Breakfast was sad- just don’t do it. Day old frozen danish and stale bagels were not appetizing. Parking should be assigned spots- the shuffling was crazy. Location was great.

The motel part of the hotel is where we stayed, no ocean view. It was clean & quiet. The free breakfast buffet was good. Bagels to toast, mini muffins, cereal, & yogurts. When I tried to book an extra night, the prices were $200 more than most of the other hotels in the area. Didn’t feel it was worth that much more.

It was a great experience, we were met in the parking lot by Nikki, the hotel manager. Very friendly, and very helpful. It was very clean and the cleaning staff took great care of the room every day. They had a great continental breakfast offered in the lobby and the people that worked. They were very friendly.

I was in Naragansett for 4 nights for a family beach trip. Unfortunately I did not know until I arrived at the property that there was no elevator and my room was on the second floor. I am an older woman with arthritic knees so this was definitely a problem for me. Fortunately, there was someone to help me up with my bag.

Basically, it was a very nice property....clean and comfortable. The shower and toilet were in one area and the sink was in another. The sink was tiny and difficult to use....ie....brushing my teeth over this little sink was difficult.

Also, the walls were thin and children in the next room made a hell of a lot of noise at 7am!!

Breakfast in the lobby was sufficient. The restaurant food and service were good. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming.

Overall....it was a good experience.

The room was simply horrible. The sink was in the bedroom and it was so small and the faucet so long that washing your face was problematic and resulted in puddles on the floor. The staff was unhelpful. Continental breakfast oranges were non-peel able and dry like they have been sitting out for a month. Bad experience all around

It did have the ramp, but no seating chair for the shower and it was located near the b k of the kitchen and the view from the window was the storage areas with beer kegs and what not laying around. Hotel had poor reception on cell phone networks and only has an unsecured WiFi, a secured WiFi specific to guests would be appropriate. More protein options for free breakfast would be helpful. Cleaner bathroom ceiling exhaust and bathroom shower floors would be nice. Bathroom shower soap option would be helpful. Beds are on a boxy loud platform base, outdoor patio furniture discolored and appears dirty. No additional in room door locking feature except for key card entry on exterior of door.

Room 31 was on the corner, so it had a lovely partial ocean view from the balcony. I got a lot of exercise going up the stairs to get to that level, which was good for me. The shower products were three oddly different scents: rum, peppermint and cilantro. I did mention this at checkout.

Very nice mini vacation (2 nights). Ocean views from across the street (although there is no beach across the street) nice to walk and look at the water. Room nicely decorated in a retro feel. Parking was strictly enforced for guests only. Good to know you'll have a parking space when returning from a day at the beach or sightseeing. All the staff we came in contact with (front desk, housekeeping and waitress) were helpful and very pleasant with the exception of the bar staff who were very slow to acknowledge our party sitting at the bar, otherwise engaged with the group of young female guests.

Our room was in the back of the property, not in the main house. Only complaint is housekeeping, and garbage bins were in our pathway to our car. It would be nice if they were not in sight of guests. Also, we had a direct view of the back of the kitchen where they prepped some food outside. Again, should be kept out of view with a simple fence.

These are easy fixes and I would recommend this property to others.

Had a great stay at The Shore House - dog-friendly with a fee - came with a cute goodie bag of a toy, treat, paper bowl, and some poop bags.
Room was spacious and pretty design. Sink was a bit awkward as the faucet was too big/long for the sink tub. But overall, the room was very comfortable.
Location was perfect, great for walking the dog along the water, and a short drive to a dog friendly beach.

It’s a nice location right across from the water a nice building and our room had a cute little balcony on it and the decor in the room is bright and colorful and updated. The room was a little bit dirty when we got there there were some pretzels under the bureau And little things like that but other than that relatively clean. The breakfast was some pastries, coffee, fruit, and yogurt, but there weren’t very many pastries put out so even by 8 o’clock I think there was maybe one cinnamon roll available but the breakfast went until 10 AM. They may have restocked at different times but when I was in a couple times, there were no pastries left. It has a very nice front porch that looks out at the water, cute lobby, friendly staff.

On check in there was barely any parking available. We tried a spot but it was tight and we would not be able to open the car doors to get out. We circled a couple of times and Mike came outside and rudely told us there was no parking for the restaurant! I told him we were staying there, he wanted a room number, I told him we hadn’t checked in. He pointed to the tight spot and I told him we tried it but it was too small. Too small? He scoffed and told me he could get his SUV in there no problem. I really wanted to just leave at that point…the first impression sucked. Finally he instructed us to park next to the bike rack and we made our way inside to be checked in. SLOWLY. The room was nothing like pictured on the website, be warned that they only show their best and cleanest! Ours was outdated and dirty, stained sheets and a shower floor so filthy we didn’t bother! We will never stay there again.

Checked into the hotel during the evening hours I was in town for an event with my cousin - I got back to my room we both took showers and was making small talk before going to bed
Front desk called twice in 10mins to report a noise complaint explained if they get another call we would be escorted out by the police
We than walked to the from desk to see why no one investigated the noise complaint- but called to threaten us with authorities
The man that was on duty at the front desk explained that he didn’t come check the noise complaint because he has diarrhea
He was extremely rude - I’ve never experienced anything like this before
The front desk staff needs to be trained or let go !!
