They cancelled the reservation and would not tell me why. I wrote to the Hotel asking why they cancelled and they directed me to call them. When I DID call the number they gave me, to ask why they cancelled, a man demeaned and belittled my concern and told me to take it up with the third party company I booked with to tell me why the HOTEL itself cancelled my reservation.
After explaining the hotel directed me to call that number specifically he interrupted me multiple times telling me he couldn’t help me. The service was TERRIBLE, they were RUDE and didn’t give any explanation to why they cut my travel plans so close to my travel date. I had to scramble to set something else up. I would NOT book with them.

Room smells like cigarettes. Hair dryer doesn’t work. Bed sheets had stains. Freezer has so much ice built up there isn’t a flat surface at the bottom. The area is ghetto. Would not bring children to the hotel or anywhere near the area. Before you enter the hotel parking lot you have to drive past run down and abandon lots. There is no public waiting area/welcome center. The front desk person is behind a window that slides open large enough to fit a shoe box through. Not a suitable hotel for women and children. Last resort option only.

Bad service, hotel was dirty, people are living there and bbq-ing in parking lot, walls are paper thin (could smell the cig smoke through the walls), gross, just avoid. I spoke with management and they gave me the ok, ok, ok, ok and won't make any changes. Urine in toilet when I checked in. Requested refund, no go.

KEEP DRIVING!! We booked this hotel at the last minute just to catch a few hours of sleep. The room was disgusting. The bedding looked as if it had never been changed. There was suspicious stains on the floor and curtains. You definitely get what you pay for because it is cheap. We decided not stay and the property do not issue refunds.

disliked = took 3 trips to office to get tv to work with 11 stations, coffee for only 1 cup, worst paint job ever seen(slopped everywhere), access to 3 standard outlets, no phone or pc connections, most of the few there were long term tenants.. left after one night after paid for 3 nites

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, DIRTY BATHROOM, HAIR ON THE BED AND ON THE BED SHEETS, DIRTY BATH TOWELS! Who seemed to be the owners wife had the worst attitude IN THE WORLD, she was very rude even worse than the administrator. We had to stay here because everywhere else was totally booked and we needed a break. These people had the audacity of telling me that the bed sheets had been cleaned and changed. As soon as I opened the bed there was hair on it and the bed sheets had been turned inside out to re-use them without washing them. When we asked for a clean set of sheets to put on the bed, the woman that brought them just throw them at my husband and left. The new \"clean\" sheets we got smelled like body grease (If they washed them I doubt they used any detergent). The bathroom smelled like urine, bathtub was not clean at all; the bottom of it was dark, you can see soap stains all over and the faucet looks like it's never been cleaned. Bath towels smell and clearly have body grease on them. There was a dead bug on the sink and a couple spiders in the bathroom.

We booked through Orbitz an hour away from the property. When we arrived it was around midnight, and the parking lot was nearly empty. The door was locked and no one at the desk. I called through the slot of the exterior window, and a disheveled older man appeared. I gave him my reservation number and driver’s license. He handed it back, said he had no such rate, and told me he was canceling. He offered no apology, alternate rate, alternative solution, nor recommend another hotel. I reminded him that his agreement was with Orbitz, and that I had never encountered such a situation where a hotel refused to honor a reservation through any travel site in my many years of using them. He shrugged his shoulders, and returned to the dark hallway from which he emerged.

Just to be clear, this is a MOtel, not a HOtel. Typical low budget motel. Mostly neat and clean. Beds are firm but comfortable. Laminate wood flooring instead of carpeting. Lots of little blemishes if you look close.
Overall a decent place to stay.

For one the water smelled horrible I couldn’t take a shower because the water for some reason smell awful. The curtains had blood stains on them they had two refrigerators in the room but only one work the room also had that abandoned apartment smell in it cable had awful signal was going in and out constantly.

Great if all you need is a comfy bed

So here's the good news:
The beds are super clean and comfy. If all you need is a place to catch some zzz's on a budget this is a great hotel. The other plus was that the staff seems friendly. They have the biggest fridge I've ever seen in a hotel room, it was great for chilling water bottles for the beach.

Here's the bad news:
The lobby was always locked, you had to communicate with the staff via a window that was only open a crack. It was hard to hear each other.
The floors felt a little dirty to my bare feet upon arrival and there was a ring around the toilet, although it was otherwise clean.
They have a phone in the room but don't be fooled, it's all for show, it's not hooked up to anything and doesn't work.

Here's the really bad news. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights and housekeeping didn't come even once. We had to empty our own trash and frequent trips to the beach meant that there was sand everywhere during our entire stay.

Very convinient and good price for a few days sleep if you can't find a hotel in Hilton Head or Tybee island, an hour drive, very nice owners and clean rooms. Also it is 30 minutes away fr bluftton if you want to have a nice dinner. Other than that not much else you can do there.

A few decorative upgrades to an older motel have improved it somewhat, but it is still an old motel. The bed was the best improvement as I like soft beds with firm underpinnings, and I slept well here. However, the bathroom fixtures have not been replaced, nor has the desk area. There is no hanger for towels in the sink area, and a an empty closet where the old small refrigerator used to be. That said, check in was easy, parking is convenient. There is a lovely lawn area with a little garden just behind the motel, and the location, with its proximity to the highway, some good restaurants, and a wooded park just across the street make for a nice stay. I am glad I didn’t pay full price though and got the discount through Expedia.

Worst customer service ever!!! I arrived 31 minutes before 4pm. There was a thunderstorm going on and I had 4 tired kids in the car. The parking lot was completely empty. The lady at the front desk stated that the room was not ready and turned away! I was shocked! I then went to another hotel across the street.

I arrive to the hotel and start talking with the receptionist a lady then a guy I assumed was the manager at that time approached and told me no leave I do t have nothing didn’t bother to check my confirmation number or my reservation. I had to leave with my kids and find other place even though I pay for this hotel.

Good hotel!!

This is a decent hotel! Good bed, bathroom, etc. (the rug needs repair). My only complaint was the 8:00 pm check in was done from a little window slot and I had to stand outside, the guy checking people in was inside. This was odd and inappropriate - the check in should be done in some kind of inside lobby, however grand or small.was this done for Covid protection? Then require masks, because this made the hotel seem much less in quality than it really is. Otherwise, good job with this hotel!!

This place is very old. The bed was comfortable. And that's about the only good thing I can say about it. If you need to be located near I-95 this is perfect. If you need free parking on site this place can provide that. Otherwise it was dirty. I had to complain in order for them to send the housekeeper again and she still didn't really do a great job I'm not sure if she understood what it entails to actually clean. If you need something quick and inexpensive and you expect to get what you pay for this place is good. I didn't see any bugs. There wasn't any awful smells. It was simply dirty. There was no one at the front desk ever. No one ever answered the phone when I called. When I did encounter someone they were kind people. When other good thing about it is it had a refrigerator with a freezer attached. There were also no issues with noise.

The check was easy and person was friendly. Comforter was obviously unwashed but changed fresh when asked. Floor was unswept, but again cleaned after requested. Toilet was not cleaned, wiped down after request. The bathroom overall was run down. Though a non-smoking room, toilet seat and cover had burn marks. Not sure why the hotel wouldn't just replace the seat. Also, they obviously don't deap clean often as there were food handprints on the doors and knobs. The bathroom needed to have cracks sealed and a fresh coat of paint would've made it feel a little more taken care of. Overall, it was a cheap decent place to lay our heads for the night.

No one answers at this location. Arrived & none was available to get me checked in I was told the following morning that the manger had left leaving the from office empty. Very poor service wont be visiting any oyo hotel in the future. What ever you do go the opposite way or keep driving.

It was okay.

The rooms were small, but decent. The bottom of the bed was not stationary. Leaned against it and it slid right from under us. The worse part of it all was that there must be locals that reside there and they were up, loud and on a constant move throughout the night. They had bbq grills and lawn chairs out front. My boyfriend went ouside to smoke around 1 am and said they were still outside laughing and walking around.
Management was a nice guy during check-in.
I would visit again, but request a room to the very front.
You get what you pay for.
