In their description it says hot breakfast however there was waffle provided and that's all. So let your expectation be on the floor as far as breakfast is concerned.
The not smoking policies should be heavily reinforced because people will smoke in their room and near the pool while kids were outside.
The staff did their absolute best they're not to blame for anything. They were kind and accommodating to the best of their they made the most with limited resources. I do believe the establishment/owner need to step up and make sure the experience matches the description

Just keep driving, do not stop at this Red Roof, it was horrible. Carpet in hallway was disgusting, and exterior doors to building didn't even close, so there is NO SECURITY when it's night and you're in your room. The building is totally accessible to anyone. Not a safe area either, I did not feel at ease all night. The bed linens clean, but towels were dingy, not white, no soap in shower dispenser, filth and dust on sink soap dispenser, lamp fixture in room rusted, bathroom door was missing parts of it and many items rusted. It was awful!!!

For the price, this actually exceeded my expectations. The room was quiet (even on a weekend night), clean, and comfortable (mattress not great but definitely comfortable enough). The staff members were friendly and the check-in/check-out process was easy. The main negative was a non-working elevator, which made climbing stairs to the second level somewhat difficult for a 78 y/o with \"bad\" knees, especially when carrying luggage. A/C was effective and quiet; breakfast was limited to cereal, pancakes, and oatmeal with coffee, water, and OJ, but the cook-your-own pancakes and machine-made coffee were surprisingly good. Again, this was acceptable for the price paid.

Broken elevator disabled wife had to climb stairs
During check in at 10:30 pm was advised room was on second floor and that needed to take stairs. My wife who is disabled, doesn’t do stairs well. The elevator was broken. I asked for first floor room and was told none available, but another employee was showing someone who also had disabled person first floor rooms. Then at 8:24 am a male knocked on door saying housekeeping are you serious check out isn’t until 11:00 am Thanks for waking me up when I was sleeping. Last one of the bath towels was dirty with streaks from I assume was the wheel of the maid cart. We will be contacting corporate about this location.

Rooms seem to be recently renovated and it was a nice surprise to have waffles for breakfast. It was also my first time having my dog with me in a hotel and the property was pet-friendly.

Great front desk staff. Could use better coffee but I’m a bit of a snob. Place was clean and the room was nice. I booked it and showed up within 15 minutes. There was a big storm coming and I was happy to have gotten my family off the road and out of the rain and into a clean hotel.

We drove all up here from guyton ga, due to the hurricane. We thought we had a reservation, but we get there at 1am, and was informed they have no power nor are they renting rooms. I understand things happen but at least inform the people of the conditions they would be staying in. Then when asked could he refund the booking, he just laughed.

Si pudiera ponerle una calificacion mas baja lo haría.

It was okay for the price but for the current state of the property it was a little overpriced. The elevator didn't work and the pool was closed. That should have at least been noted on Expedia's website. Breakfast is very very minimal and only from 6 am to 9 am, 10 am would've been better. Coffee was not great but okay. The pool was being worked on so hopefully it'll be ready soon. It was taken over by new management so maybe we just stayed there during everything being updated. It was semi convient being 30 minutes from Beaufort and 46 minutes from Savanah. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The guy that checked us out wasn't really and I'm assuming he was an owner bc he was dressed that way. All in all we would stay there again once everything is hopefully fixed. This is a non smoking hotel and they are very strict about it.
