Please contact the hotel in advance if coming in late and you need a parking spot, they have been understaffed so you need to get instructions for late check in. Convenient for the ferry and great view form the room. The bar downstairs closes early so it's not loud and we were able to get a bottle of wine to drink. The food in the breakfast space is ok not really that great for the price, but that could be just the time of year. We have to go back to Sydney again and really want to stay there.

The thing to understand about this place is that the bar and restaurant on the harbour front terrace are its focal point, and open to all. The menu is focused on quick dining. The food is pretty good and the prices are fair. Locals refer to WBH as ‘the pub’.
The two best rooms in the hotel have a balcony with a view over the terrace and the harbour beyond. You pay extra for these, but ‘the pub’ is pretty noisy, as it is rammed in the evenings, and it was still very early in the season when we were there. There’s no priority for hotel guests. At weekends, there is a big sound system with a DJ facing the hotel, pumping out dance music. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, this was in full swing, and with the doors to the balcony open it was like being in a nightclub in our room. At the end of our four night stay, the hotel asked for feedback, and I pointed out that this level of noise wasn’t conducive to relaxing after a long journey. The response was basically that if you don’t like it, get a room without the view. In some peculiar way, it seems the Pub and the Hotel are under separate management. “The noise levels are something we have put forward to the owners….”
It looks to me as though WBH wants to maximise the revenue from a boutique hotel offering a tranquil location - but also a rowdy hotspot for the affluent young of the City. Ultimately, I’m not sure that is going to work.

Lovely hotel in beautiful location with bar and food options right on the premises. Rooms were large and nicely decorated; Bed comfortable. The only downside was the noise at 7.30am on Sunday from the clean up crew/bottles and rubbish compacting. Apart from that, great. I'd stay there again.

We were greeted by Chelsea and JB who were a wonderful introduction to this hidden gem. In fact the staff overall were wonderful but Chelsea and JB were there to help us everytime we needed something. The hotel itself is wonderfully set out and the rooms had everything needed. There were 3 weddings on during our stay and when we retired to the room you would never had known an event was even taking place. Which gave us a great night's sleep. The location is wonderful, surrounded by beautiful scenery in every direction. The ferry arrives and departs 1 minutes walk from the hotel which will take you into the heart of the city. We loved this place and on our 3 weeks travelling around NSW and Canberra this was our favourite place. From management to breakfast staff everyone was polite and helpful. The hotel and location were spot on. We will definately be back.

We stayed 3 nights at WBH to attend a nearby wedding and were pleasantly surprised by the level of friendly service and the well-designed rooms. The location has a good blend of being reasonably close to things but also a relaxed area to do some walks and enjoy some good scenery. Would gladly stay again.

Beautiful property with ferry terminal directly outside. Easy to get to central Sydney while able to enjoy quiet waterfront location. Multiple walking trails around the peninsula. Not many shops close by the but the restaurant hotel was very reasonably priced and had lots of options. Upscale seafood restaurant just next door, fish and chips at the ferry terminal. Very nice breakfast. Staff very attentive. Highly recommended.

The front desk staff all were very accomadating and Thank you Dan for reaching out to us the first night to make sure we had the details for the room key. (as we were late in arrival time). A wonderful breakfast bar each morning was included and the barristas provided excellent service in making sure we had our custom coffees always fresh & full. What a treat! Great job barristas! Stayed here for our anniversary in the harbour view room (110) view was awesome as was the vibe and bar on a Saturday afternoon and night. Also perfect spot if wanting to visit Doyles for dinner. Highly recommended. Tip get the ferry over from circular quay.

I have visited this place with my wife and two young daughters, for four days. We were impressed with everything, exceeding our expectations, despite it wasn’t 5 star hotel. Very good breakfast, good dining, amazing interior - maritime style. Suitable connection with Sydney centre by ferry, which is just behind corner. I would like to back again to Watson Bay Boutique Hotel. Highly recommended. :)

The poverty was very nice. it was a special stay for a 21st birthday however we had alarms and had to evacuate the hotel at 12.30pm which interrupted our sleep and we could not get back to sleep after that. Sadly we were very tired in the morning.

The quality of the property does not reflect the advertising or the price. Having the music going until the late hours does not blend with quality accomodation. The noise coming from the bar/dance areas denies you having a restful sleep. Sorry, this is not the high quality relaxaing evening we were looking for.

We really enjoyed our stay. Watsons Bay is such a lovely location and the hotel was perfect. Modern facilities with great character. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good. Parking was easy. Beautiful walks with breathtaking views are right on the doorstep. The only thing that could have been improved was the shower - the shower head wasn’t great. We would definitely stay again, and for longer next time around.
