It was nice to be greeted in a friendly matter by the hotel staff and I got an early check in, which I was super happy about. Usually I am all about positive reviews but I must point out the cleanliness of the suite I was staying in. It does not look like the photos, the bedding smelt musky, the bedding had blood stains and the toilet was so gross with a huge dirty stain in the crevice of the toilet seat and running down the side. Everything in the washroom looked extremely dirty and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Do not think it is worth the money as there are other places on the island for a similar price that are maintained better.

The room we stayed in was spacious and pretty but in need of an update, the shower and taps were very old and made the bathroom look unclean, though we know it wasn't. The water pressure was also very low in the shower making it less comfortable to shower in. The pool was very well maintained and clean, this looked to have been upgraded more recently, as did some of the property so I am guessing this is in process.
The staff were lovely, especially those on reception desk. Spa and laundry service were both good too. Location is perfect, right next to great snorkelling spots.
Overall a good stay and could be a luxury resort with some tlc.

I liked this resort! Under ten minute walk to the harbour. Cute eclectic/funky decor. Cool outdoor bath/shower. Great pool/lounge area. Friendly staff. Our included breakfast portions were very small and took about an hour to arrive would be my only negative.

Like other reviews have said, this place is pretty dated and doesn't have that Bali-designed vibe that newer places on the island do. It was clean and the room was huge but I wouldn't bother staying here again. They charge 50k a day for bikes rather than 25k at other places, when really they should be free given the cost of the room. WiFi worked as well it does anywhere else on the island.

Additionally I would say it isn't in a nice area in Gili either.

The whole resort has a chilled feeling with lots of cool buildings and facilities. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and we loved having a private enclosed front garden and a half-outdoors bathroom out the back. The pool is very good with varied depths. What stands out is the staff’s manners, attention to detail and helpfulness; they were all lovely! We enjoyed our breakfasts in the morning and the bar itself was nice, especially having a dedicated beachfront area for eating and relaxing on loungers.

Nice hang, especially the pool. Location on the beach is nice as well. Decent restaurant, esp bfast included. Room were a tad outdated, but very comfortable anyway. Take a horsecart from the dock if you have luggage- it's a bit of a walk dragging/carrying bags. Great helpful staff!

Stayed at this hotel while spending 3 days at Gili Air. It's an eco friendly hotel with comfortable rooms, friendlt staff and a calm atmosphere. The room was clean, with an outdoor private bathroom (which was actually fun) and decent air con. Would definitely stay here again

The room we stayed in was nice but dated, the staff was polite and helping. The bathroom is in the open which is no issue during the day time but at night time there were some mosquitoes. They definitely need to work a more on cleanliness, the towels looked dirty and stained as if some one else had used it and the hotel staff just dried it, sprayed it with some perfume and put it back. Every single bath towel we got was dirty and one of it had a long woman’s hair stuck to it. The toilet was also probably leaking as there was a smell of piss every time we went near it and another issue was the little slope under the shower which I believe was created with the intention of letting the water drained but it’s hazardous, my wife mistakenly stepped on that slope while taking a shower and fell as it was slippery, it’s hard to avoid so be very cautious around it. Bed was comfortable but the breakfast need some more options, especially for vegetarians. Location is good as it’s 10 minutes walk to the harbour and quite some place to eat around.

Disappointed to what expected

We had a double room with garden view - garden view is your own small walled courtyard which means the room is set back off that. It was really dark in there & the air con wasn’t amazing. Bed is comfy. The pictures make the place look way more fancier than it is. The grounds aren’t anything special, the pools ok. The breakfast & restaurant are really good. The hotel is also right outside a great snorkelling spot. The shower was cold!! This side of the island has a lot more restaurants & shops so great for that & you can easily get a bike & pedal round the island (except where sand is too soft on the path & you do end up pushing the bike)

The grounds were really pretty and I lucked out and got a free upgrade to the \"deluxe\" room. Loved the outdoor shower. It's a 5-7 minute walk from the harbor and the on-site spa was excellent!

Spent 4 nights here. Belair has a spa, a pool, decent food, snorkelling off the hotel beach. Cold Bintangs and good music. The staff were excellent-friendly and helpful. All the ingredients for a good holiday

Nice Hotel with a disco bed :-)

The Island was fantastic, so quiet, no cars or motorbikes, very relaxed.
The hotel was nice and clean, the bed did make me laugh when I saw the green lights underneath :-)
The room was a reasonable size and when you take in your own little courtyard, quite good, the courtyard is actually a little drab with the garden but this could be to reduce mosquitoes.
Nice pool area and an outside gym.
Overall very happy with the stay and would stay again.

The most AMAZING experience

The hotel staff (all of them) were so friendly and kind. Yuri (I think that's how you spell it) and Herman were so helpful to us at check in and check out. It was so comfortable and the location is great for a small stroll to anywhere else on the island. Thank you EVERYONE at Bel Air Resort!! Definitely would go back.

Lovely hotel, large room, comfortable king bed, good range of tv channels, nice cool pool, friendly hard working staff. Location is excellent, half way up the east coast looking over Lombok and not too far from the harbour. There are loads of good bars and restaurants nearby. To be fair Gili Air is so amazing you can't go wrong! Only downside would be shaky wifi (not uncommon anywhere on the island) and an average restaurant (but plenty around to choose). If I came back I'd book again.

Great staff in a good resort

We stayed at the Bel Air for 6 nights during our stay on Gili Air. When we arrived they were doing construction on the waterfront restaurant area. Due to the noise we used it as an excuse to dine at other locations on the island. However when we ate at the resort the food was very good. We enjoyed our breakfasts every morning. The staff working there made our stay enjoyable. The daily towel decorations by Lukman and Azhari brought a smile to my face when I saw them. Herman, Emi and Yudi are just a few of the staff that made our stay wonderful. I just wish I could remember the names of all the other people that provided excellent service to us.
The only drawback to this place was the Wifi service. We were unable to get any service while we we were inside our room. BUT even with that issue we extended our 3 day stay to 6 days!!

Cons: they have s lot of birds around that the feed. I don't like birds personally and they were there all day making noise and jumping everywhere. Had to basically avoid the pool. The breakfast was also really mediocre

Bel Air Spa Is a very good hotel And nice place to stay ..where I felt very comfortable . Go for the luxury room (and not the standard too basic) and you will have a wonderful time : the bed is big, very comfortable, the room spacious and with an extra bonus you will have a colorful light under your bed if you want and this makes the room even warmer .. Private garden is also a bonus and shower ( semi open) makes this experience really unique and pleasant .. Swimming pool, spa, restaurant are also in the hotel .. Highly recommend this hotel .. Good value for money ..

Abbiamo soggiornato 11 notti in questo meraviglioso resort dove regna la pace e la tranquillità. Tutto ben curato dal verde agli spazi aperti e la piscina. Si trova a 10 minuti a piedi dal porto ed è lato alba. Grazie a tutto lo staff in particolare a Effendi che ci è venuto incontro cambiandoci la stanza standard con una garden. Stanza ampia e bagno aperto stile maldiviano. La colazione è a buffet con frutta fresca , pancake, waffle, banana plum-cake, brioche, caffè o tè. Tutto molto buono. Grazie per aver reso la nostra vacanza una super vacanza.

Pas d’eau chaude, pas de moustiquaire (alors que l’endroit est rempli de moustiques), pas trop de wifi dans la chambre, douche pas très propre et pas de savon pour les mains. Prestation décevante par rapport au prix.

Das Standard Zimmer wird täglich gereinigt und nass gewischt. Es ist gut ausgestattet (Minibar, TV, AC). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Zu empfehlen ist die Schnörchel-Tour, die angeboten wird, an der man mit dem Boot zu verschiedenen Orten mit vielen Korallen, Fischen und ein paar Schildkröten gefahren wird.

Nice quiet hotel, in the side of Gili Air with most restaurants and bar.
The room is confortable with a nice open air bathroom and a little garden. The swimming pool is gorgeous. Staff is really nice, you have a nice breakfast in the price with local food or international breakfast. Barbecue is possible at night. Baby bed cote available for free.

The hotel is very nice, and the staff very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is also pretty good, and they will do their best to help you in any way.

Theres only two pointers;
- The toilet in our room barelly flushed, so we had to flush 4 times just about every time we went to the toilet
- the beaches are fine, but bring some bathing shoes. There’s corrals all over the island so you need to use shoes everywhere when you go for a swim :)

All in all: you’ll enjoy your stay here!

Hotellialue oli kaunis ja huone mukava. Pieni aidattu etupiha mukava lisä. Sijainti lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä satamasta oli todella hyvä.

Hotellin ravintola oli remontissa vierailumme aikana. Asia oli hieman harmillinen yllätys mutta halutessa ruokaa tarjoiltiin kuitenkin allasbaarissa.

Meidän varaukseen kuului aamiainen joka olisi voinut olla hieman kattavampi.

Schöne Anlage in Strandnähe

Der Aufenthalt im Bel Air Resort hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Kellner und das Personal der Rezeption waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sehr komfortabel und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut. Den einzigen Abzug gibt es, da das Restaurant und der Bereich am Strand momentan (Off Season im März) renoviert wird. Die Situation wurde jedoch durch die Möglichkeit, die Mahlzeiten an der Poolbar oder auf dem Zimmer einzunehmen, gut gelöst.
Die Kellner haben uns sehr gute Tipps für unsere Weiterreise auf Lombok gegeben.

Bonne literie petit jardin privé, personnel très accueillant et efficace en cas de problème.Nous avons eu un problème de clim et ça a été résolu dans l’heure. Les seuls points négatifs : il faisait très chaud dans la salle de bain et deco un peu kitch à mon goût Nous le recommandons sans problème

Endte med at have 8 dejlige overnatninger på dette hotel, dobbelt så lang tid som først booket. Personalet er helt fantastisk og tog sig godt af vores søn på 1,5 år. Boede i deluxe værelse og kan varmt anbefales.
Personalet var altid meget venlige og imødekommende og hjælpsomme hvis vi havde spørgsmål eller ting som ikke fungerede helt optimalt. Skønt pool område samt egen restaurant med udsigt over vandet og Lombok. Tæt på alt på øen. Dejligt sted
